Chapter one: The beach

James pov

I hear waves. My eyes open, and I relize that I am on a tropical shore, in my underwear. My left arm itches, and I see a metal diamond imbedded in my wrist. I scrach it, and wonder where I am. I think, "what is my name, and where do I live?" Hmm... My name is... James. James, the dinosaur nerd. I am 13 years old. I live in... Roseburg. Last I checked, it was not tropical, or near a beach. I hear a warble, and turned to see... A dodo! "What in the world am I doing on an beach with an extinct bird? " I wonder out lound. I stand up quickly, and realize that dodos are not the only extinct creature on what I persume is an island. I see both parasaurs and a pair of triceratops. I stare in amazement at the giant reptiles. "Wait, I say, As amazing as this is, I bet that something here wants to eat me. Because there are plant eating dinosaurs, which should mean there are also meat eaters". "I definently need food". I see a dodo eating some berries off of a bush. It eats the red, blue yellow, and purple ones, but not the white and black ones. I would guess that means they are toxic, but I can't be totally sure. I walk over to another bush, and reach out for some berries. I grab them, but they vanish. Puzzled, I wonder if somehow, the implant somehow absorded them. After all, if there are dinosaurs around, who knows what it does. I try tapping it, and a bright light shoots out of it. My vision is filled with a projection that looks like a computer screen. It reads, Survivior implant, map, and 13 azulberries. I wondered if tapping itcwould let me eat them. I tapped the berries, and instantly they apear in my hand. I touched my implant again, and the screen was gone. I would look at it more later. Now I would eat. I put one in my mouth, and noticed that it tasted similar to grapes. After I finished eating, and had gathered some more berries, it was getting dark. I then looked for a safe place to sleep. It found it atop of a boulder, near the jungle bordering the beach. I lay down to sleep, and closed my eyes.
