A/N: When I was small, I got to occupy the television without major arguments. So each day, when the clock struck (I forgot exactly when…), I would glue myself to the TV and start my entertainment. And then, this anime called Sailor Moon came by. I was instantly fascinated by it.

Now, after a few years, there was this crystal version and I met characters I never saw before. Therefore, my favourite has changed from Mars and Venus to Uranus:)

And this will be a story as told by Tenoh Haruka. Hope you guys like it.

'No luck, this is not a talisman,' Uranus grunted at the shining crystal she was holding. How many times has this happened? The more they were searching for the talisman, the greater the desperation grew. When will they find at least one talisman? She thought that it would soon be over, but now three months had passed and still, there was no sign of one single talisman.

'Please return the pure heart crystal! Or else the boy will die!' Sailor Moon begged in front of the two outer senshi.

'Take it, we have no use of it anyways.' Uranus shrugged and tossed the crystal to the blonde girl in front of her. The simple action sent pain to her. She quickly clasped the cut with her other hand to stop the bleeding. Judging from the blood that tainted part of her glove, it is nothing serious but it still needed immediate medical attention to prevent any infection.

The blonde carefully caught the crystal with both of her free hands and swiftly placed the crystal on top of the motionless boy lying unconsciously on the floor. Then, the crystal seemed to disappear but Sailor Moon knew that it had returned to its rightful place. When she looked up again, the senshi of wind and the senshi of the sea were gone already.

'Ouch! Be careful with what you are doing, Michiru!' Haruka let out a painful yelp when her beloved placed a ball of cotton wool moistened with disinfectant above her injured arm.

'I have not yet touched it! Now, Haruka, quit whining and stop being a child for once. Besides, if you did not charge recklessly, this will not happen,' The aqua-haired beauty blamed, 'let me take care of it. Then, you can go to bed and sleep.'

'With you by my side?' Haruka grinned like a child receiving candy from his parents. But the grin did not reach the sea goddess. Instead, she rolled her eyes and did not hesitate to place the cotton wool on the cut, rubbing thoroughly before removing it.

'Michiru… how could you…' the blonde said, clenching her teeth hard to swallow the cry. Her teal eyes glared into the aquamarine one.

'Stay here while I get some gauze for your cut. You should be grateful that it is not really deep.' Michiru said, rising to grab the gauze in the washroom.

'Alright,' Haruka answered like a wounded dog, hanging her head low while sitting upright. The ache on her forearm was numbing away, but not her heart's one. After being a senshi for quite some time now, she understands what must be done in order to save the Earth. She understands what needs to be sacrificed in order to do so. She understands what Michiru has sacrificed.

Michiru was very talented, either in music or drawing. Yet, after she had become a senshi, her time in doing these kinds of things had significantly decreased. When can they find even one talisman?

'It is not usual to see you like this, what are you thinking?' the soft and gentle voice pulled Haruka out from her deep thoughts. She looked at Michiru and found her eyes filled with worry. Her locks of aqua-haired fell naturally on her shoulder like gentle waves.

Why are you so beautiful? You are like an angel disguised in human form.

'I was wondering why you rejected me,' Haruka said instead. She would not tell her partner what she was truly thinking, not now at least. Besides, what she just said was not completely a lie. A small part of her was hurt because of that.

'Because,' Michiru stressed, yet she gently took in Haruka's arm and started to wrap it with great care, 'we need to go to school tomorrow. It will be a problem if the others see us coming out of the same building. You do not want to raise any suspicion, do you?'

'I don't,' Harika replied softly. She used her free hand to remove the lock of hair on her face, softly caressing the smaller girl's smooth face. Michiru blushed at the sudden contact but made no intention to move away. Instead, she moved her head so that her cheek was enveloped by the taller girl's hand.

Kiss her.

The idea popped inside the blonde like a light bulb being turned on. She slipped her hand to enclose the back of the neck of her angel and pulled her closer uncontrollably.

'Haruka, what are you doing?' Michiru mumbled before crashing on the blonde's chest.

Kiss her, now!

'I… I just like your scent of the ocean, that's all,' Haruka found herself saying. She could hear the rapid beating from the girl in her arms. They were so close, so close that she could feel the hot breath on her chest.

Idiot, what are you thinking? We are not supposed to have feelings for each other! If this happens, that means our mission will fail! We have promised each other, dammit!

You stupid, stupid racer!

Michiru did not answer but when she pulled away, her face was still red. She coughed and finished wrapping. 'It will heal in a few days, so take care of it and don't use this hand often. I will come by tomorrow to help you change the bandage.'

'Of… of course,' the racer stuttered, her heart was pounding so quick and hard that she wondered if Michiru could hear it. 'I am sorry for troubling you.'

'Don't be,' the girl said, clearly still troubled by Haruka's action, 'see you tomorrow.'

'See you.'

Then, the door was slammed shut, leaving the senshi of wind alone on the couch.

After minutes have passed, the blonde was still sitting on it like a frozen statue. Her heart was slowing its rhythm down to normal finally and Haruka was immensely grateful for that. But she could not shake away the feeling when Michiru was in her arms. She could feel Michiru's warm breaths on her breast and when her angel pulled away, she missed it immediately. She missed everything about her, her scent, her sweet voice, everything.

'Oh God, what am I thinking? She is my partner! Nothing more.' Haruka murmured to herself, her arms resting on her thighs with her hands under her chins

To help with the mission! I care for her! How could I promise that kind of thing? The reason I chose to become a sailor senshi is to protect her! So that she does not have to keep everything to herself and sacrifice her dreams.

But what is this newborn sensation? It is more than friendship, yet it is not love exactly. The scent of the ocean always calmed her mind even when her head is in a mess. The soft voice of the sea goddess always comforted her during her saddest time. The music coming out from her violin can wash her worries away like how the sea washes the sand on your feet.

The thought of that kept swirling inside of Haruka's mind until it had become a storm raging within her. She quickly switched off the light and laid on her soft and welcoming bed. She hoped that through spreading her arms and legs could at least help her cool off from the heat of overthinking.

She buried her head into the snow-white pillows and shook her head to calm herself down. Yet, her head was still filled with the image of a certain girl with aquamarine hair who was playing the violin. The melody was soft and gentle, which calmed the raging storm inside of the world's youngest racer. For once in a while, the blonde fell asleep with a smile on her lips.

Here comes the beginning of this story. What do you think?

Hopefully, the next chapter will be out soon.

By the way, what kinds of element you want me to add in the story?
