Faunu Slave 6191

The morning bells of Atlas, the city of Mantle awakes in the morning fog. As the craftsman crafts and the bakerman bakes, to the morning bells of Atlas. As another dark day brakes for the people living down in Mantle. Some say the soul of the city is the toll of the bells of Atlas, braking the dark cold of the nights. But one night was the night when a new story began to write itself. A story of a Man and a Monster.

Dark and cold was the night when our tale was beginning, it was down at the docks near Mantle.

Four frightened Faunus slid silently under the docks near Mantle, but a trap had been laid for the Faunus. They gazed up in fear and alarm at a figure whose clutches were iron as much as the bells

the bells of Atlas, Judge Klaus Neige. Klaus longed to purge the world of vice and sin, and he saw Faunus as corruption. Little to disme of everyone he never took notice to his own vile skin and words. "You there what are you hiding?" an Atlas Guard spoke out. A female faunus clutched a bundle of cloth, only for Klaus to speak "Stolen goods no doubt, take them from her."

Before they could reach the female faunus ran as fast as she could carrying the bundle with her, only for Klaus to chase after her. Running from door to door pleading for help, but only receiving silence from the people of Mantle. Losing hope fast, she raced to the Bells of Atlas. The very center of Mantle, praying for one man or woman to help her from this evil man known to Faunus everywhere. When she finally reached the doors of Atlas, Klaus also reached her and pulled and kicked the Faunus woman down. When the woman's head fell onto the steps of Atlas, causing her to bleed. The woman was no longer moving, Klaus only gave her a pitiful look as if there was nothing more to say or do. Klaus then turned to the bundle of cloth to hear a baby's cry, unwrapping the cloth he revealed a Faunus baby with red eyes and a snow white body. "A Monster!" Klaus cried in rage. Quickly to cover the bundle back he searched for a way to dispose of the so called monster, only to find an abandoned well. He held the child over it but before Klaus let go, the Captain of the Atlas guards cried out "Stop!" Klaus turned to the Captain and said "This is an unholy demon, I'm sending it back to hell where it belongs." "The innocent blood you have spilt, on the steps of Atlas. The crime you have dealt with was unjust." Cried the Captain as he pointed to the dead woman on the stops of Atlas. Klaus turned away to think of nothing to it "She ran, I pursued. There was nothing more I could have done, I am guiltless." The Captain walked up to him in anger to yell, knowing he was just making excuses for himself. "Now you would add this child's blood to your guilt, on the steps of Atlas!? You can lie to yourself and your minions. You can claim that you haven't a qualm, but you never can run nor hide from what you've done from the eyes of Atlas."

It was then that Bells began to chime again for the unjust he had done, and for one time in his life of power and control, Klaus felt a twinge of fear for his mortal soul. Worried for his life he could only ask unknowingly "What must I do?". The Captain gave a grave a heavy sigh and answered "Care for the child and raise it as your own." Klaus gave a discussed look toward the child only to then say "So be it, Rouge Blaireau." He gave her a monstrous name, a name that means Red Badger.

"So what will you do now?" Questioned the Captain. Klaus stared at the child with fatherly disgust and said "I'll raise her up just until she is old enough to do things herself. Then I'll have her work here in Atlas doing slaves work, just so she's kept locked away. Where no one else can see this foul creature, she may yet prove one day to be of use to me." The Captain only looked at the Mantle's judge with even more disgust for what he was saying. Just before leaving Klaus turned to the Captain and said in a cold voice "Oh and Nicholas, the event that happened tonight is just between us. Is that understood?" Through gritted teeth and a hard bow Captain Nicholas Schnee said "Understood your grace."

It was on that night when Mantle started its longest and coldest winter. Nicholas swore on his name and title to write the wrongs of Mantle, so that way that night would never be repeated again. That in turn began the Atlas Military's search for better heating materials and equipment for in Mantle. The party was made up of small volunteers and lead by the Captain Nickolas Schnee. It wasn't until the middle of winter that people were starting to lose hope. But Nickolas continued on because he feared for not only the children of Mantle but for that Faunus child he couldn't protect. That was until he finally found it, the first dust mine for Mantle and the start of Atlas growth. With this Nickolas started the Shnee Dust Mining and Dust research company. Nickolas only wish to give the future children a warm and bright one.
