The gravity of the situation dawned on Gin – as she woke from a restful sleep – but she didn't honestly care. Last night she slept with Tomura Shigaraki.

It had been a unplanned thing. She was just trying to be kind to him since the confrontation with Stain left him feeling insecure. He had stormed out the bar after meeting Dabi and the eccentric Himiko Toga; a meeting she had to assure them would be settled on another day.

He had returned late and knocked on her bedroom door. Gin was asleep – the unforgettable lyrics of Myth & Roid were playing on loop from her cell phone. Awake, but still very tired, she listened to him prattle on about his idea to crumble society through the death of All Might; an epiphany he gained while out on his walk. She was delighted for him – a smile grew on her face as she told him so.

"I'm beside you 100 percent, Shigaraki-kun. All you need is to ask and my quirk is yours," she had said.

Tomura had went silent. He scratched his neck, then reached up to yank back the hood of his jacket. Uncomfortably Gin stared at him; something about the way he looked at her made her heart beat faster. It was as if he was under the influence of her quirk. But that couldn't be true; she hadn't given him a command.

He scratched at his neck again. His beautiful eyes darted between her and the floor. "Knock it off. You're irritating me."

"I don't mean to stare," she told him. Curling her hair around her finger, she snorted in laughter. "But you know … red suits you."

A brow rose and disappeared beneath his messy bangs. Gin wasn't sure if he understood, so she tapped the skin right below her eye. He grunted in appreciation.

She wasn't sure how it came to be, or when he drew closer, but at some point during the conversation that followed, Tomura had her beneath him. Gin clearly remember his slender fingers – all except his pinky – around her throat as he had sex with her. Lewd chokes and pleas of desire left her tender lips. It was great while it lasted.

Rolling onto her side, Gin stared at the empty spot on the bed. She felt let down that Tomura wasn't beside her. His hair most likely would have been even messier post sex. No worries though; Gin felt no shame in what she let happen. She got out of bed and stretched, then put on some fresh clothes. Once she was dressed, she ventured down to the bar with a skip in her step.

Behind the counter, Gin noticed Kurogiri cleaning a small glass. Tomura was seated in front of him, but she paid him no attention as she stepped up to the bar.

"Good morning Kurogiri. May I have some water?"

He set down the glass and poured her water from a bottle he stored beneath the bar. "Morning. You appear chipper today. Did you sleep well enough?"

Gin agreed with a laugh. "Something like that. What is on the agenda today?"

"I have some errands to run, as well as a visit I need to make to Giran regarding the two he recommended to join us," he replied.

A frown marred her face. "No deal, huh? They seemed durable enough to join us. Shame though; I kind of liked Toga-chan."

"Then you are in luck. Tomura Shigaraki has agreed to let them stay."

She shot a bemused glance at the messy haired man. Just last night he had been against the idea of letting them join. What could have changed his mind? Was he in a decent mood?

As if he noticed her staring, he snorted in irritation. "I still don't like them, but their quirks might be of use to me."

"Yes … well that is a conversation for another time. I must be going before Giran decides to leave his office. Take care Ginshi Mawari and Tomura Shigaraki."

Kurogiri warped away not much longer after he said this, leaving Gin alone with Tomura. Her stomach clenched in dread for some reason, but she ignored it. Sitting down on a chair some few inches away from him, she plugged in her headphones and decided to kill the time while listening to some music. Her head rested against the clean table top with a calm and happy smile.

Up until she noticed the glare Tomura was giving her. He surprising wasn't wearing a hand over his face, but he did look heated. Gin slipped out an ear bud and puckered a brow.

"Can I help you?"

He scratched at his neck. "Have you ever used your quirk on me? Last night in particular."

"I am not able to compel someone to do something they already don't want to do, so no. We had sex because … well because we chose to." It annoyed her that he thought this. Her type of persuasion didn't work on people with strong wills. They had to want the same thing as she commanded.

Tomura tilted his head; he obviously didn't believe her. It wasn't like she expected something from him. A one night stand meant nothing to her – no matter how good he had made her feel.

"Tell me you love me," she commanded.

He snorted. "What are you playing at?"

"Is that a no or is that a yes?"

Again he snorted. "Hard no."

"You see; I couldn't have used my quirk against you. Like it or not, we had sex because we're two lonely consenting adults," you explain with an irritated huff. Why is he making such a big deal out of it? "I don't regret the night I spent with you."

Tomura visibly shook. Gin knew he wasn't used to these types of lewd conversations. "Neither do I … surprisingly."

Could have fooled me.

She understood now why he was asking though. He thought she had compelled him to sleep with her. Ironic how many times Gin had heard an ex accuse her of such.

"Glad that's off your chest now. We can go back to how it was before you knocked on my door at 2 in the morning."

Tomura and her were not close. Gin respected him, but honestly being anything more seemed complicated. This was the most he had even spoken to her.

"Suit yourself. But I remember you asking to be mine. The next time it happens you best watch your mouth; I might let you."

She felt heat spread across her face. "Are you h-honestly wanting there to be another time?"

"You're smart … use your brain."

Maybe Gin was right about him being lonely. Either way … she wanted him too.
