The Dino and the frog

Dino was lonely, very lonely he had no one, nobody: no friends, no family not even any neighbours he knew why though, he was bright blue with dark purple spots all over him and spikes along his back. He looked scary un-approachable. Dino knew he wanted though, inside, he was just a big soft cuddly thing he spent his days helping small mice and squirrel getting fruit and nuts from trees and protected them from the dangers in the desolate, sandy world. Frog on the other hand was a FEARLESS warrior fighting off other frogs devouring flies and other unfortunate creepy crawlies, they were polar opposites; completely different.

One summer evening, the chilling moon peaked through branches and gaps in the forest the undergrowth started coming to life, frog started searching for the perfect place to settle down and Dino began helping little critters find food or patches of warm earth. Dino felt something on his back he slowly eased himself up, out of the resting place he had made, "Hello, HELLOOOO..." Nothing but silence Dino's eyes widened, he was scared. Could it be...IT couldn't be...it couldn't be something. Scary A monster. Dino jumped around crashing through the trees when he heard a tiny but shrill squeak, "stop you monster stop please!" And that's how Dino and Frog became friends and spent the rest of there now not so lonely days together basking in the sun cuddling up to shield themselves from the crisp evening air.
