'-and I believe that I speak for all of The United States of America, when I say that I welcome all of HYDRA's former experiment's and mutants so that they can share their knowledge with all Americans-' the senator's voice was drowned out by a mocking, derisive laugh.

'If you have a problem, please say so instead of just disrupting this historic occasion.'

The laugher, a blonde-haired lady with black tribal tattoos around her eyes, swirling like a mask, stands up. 'I do have a problem Senator. Do you want to know what it is?'

The senator gestures to the security guards standing near her to remove the girl, but Captain America stands up and gestures for her to stop. 'Ma'am, instead of mocking Senator Willcroft could you please explain, what your problem is and who you are?'

She rolls her eyes as she struts forward to stand in front of the mutants 'My name is Fairie Rogers.' Steve flinches. It couldn't possibly be Emmeline, Emmeline died years ago, besides Rogers is a very common last name, it's just a coincidence. Just a coincidence.

Besides, Emmeline's middle name was Pixie, not Fairie, even though the names mean pretty much the same thing, it could easily, just be a coincidence.

'And my problem is what she just said.'

'What is your problem with Senator Willcroft's statement exactly?'

'She said that we' she gestured behind her to all the mutants 'would be sharing our knowledge with you average Americans.

When I know for a fact that you don't want to know what we know.'

Steve knows that he doesn't want to know the answer to his question, but his morbid curiosity spurs him on 'What do you mean? What do you know that's so bad?'

She smirks 'For a start, I know what it feels like to watch my own mother kill someone in cold blood!' She stares off into space, remembering.

She pulls herself together, but tears are still streaming down her face. 'And that's just me.' She turns to the other mutants 'Tell them what you know.'

The first to stand is a boy with snake hair 'I know what it looks like when you pull someone apart.' His voice is high, he couldn't be more than six-years-old.

Then a girl stands up 'I know what it feels like when you're so hungry that you eat mould and rats to survive.'

These first two people give the others courage and soon every mutant is standing and telling the court people what they know but wish they didn't.

'I know what happens when someone shoves a pin down your ear.'

'I know what a human tongue looks like when it's been cut out of someone's mouth.'
