Love over all

Chapter 1

Above the streets of New York there was a figure swinging from building to building "oh crap oh crap, I'm so late" the figure thought to himself as he landed on a building looking over E.S.U labs.

"Pete where have you been, you are so late and the doc isn't happy" Peter looked at Gwen with a slightly worried look on his face "how worried should I be?" he asked her, she looked away then back at him with a worried look on her face " ah that bad, well wish me luck then."

It has been a year since Peter's final confrontation with the Green Goblin, the loss of his best friend Harry Osborn's farther Norman Osborn and admitting his feelings to the girl he is in love with Gwen Stacy.

"Mr Parker, you have been late six times this month alone and don't get me started on the amount of times this year" the doc stopped and took a breath then continued "I'll give you ONE more chance but if you are late again consider not showing up at all, got it" the doctor stared at Peter intensely waiting for a response Peter then nodded his head in understanding.

Meanwhile Gwen was going about her duties of checking all the spiders "yep all accounted for and vitals are within safety parameters" she heard the doc giving Peter an earful, whilst she wasn't looking one of the spiders crawled out of its containment system and made its way onto Gwen's left hand and before she could do anything it bit straight into her, she smacked her hand.

At that moment Perter came out of the doctor's office to see Gwen holding her hand, he rushed over to her "Gwen are you all right?" he asked with a concerned look on his face she smiled at him and replied "I'm fine just a scratch" then the doctor came over and said to the two of them "look I need the two of you to get to work so please just get to work" they both nodded and got to work.

A few hours later they both came out of the building finished for the day "are you sure you're alright?" Peter asked Gwen, she looked over to him, smiled and said " yes I'm fine you don't have to worry so much" he returned her smile then said "I know but I like to" the two of them stood just staring into each other's eyes locked in their own little world until a limo pulled up.

Harry got out "hey Gwen, Pete need a lift?" Peter looked at Gwen then back to Harry then replied to his question "no thanks Harry I'll get a cab" Harry shrugged his shoulders then put his arm around her shoulder and led her towards his car she looked back at Peter with a sad look in her eyes then got in the car and left him on the steps of the lab.

Chapter 2

The next day Peter made his way to school with the thoughts of Gwen and Harry on his mind. When he arrived, he was confronted with Harry with his arm around Gwen and talking to Flash.

"hey tiger, what you looking at?" said a red headed girl who walked up behind Peter, he looked over to see MJ "hi MJ, I'm not looking at anyone…uh I mean anything well see ya" saying that he left to go to class.

Whilst Peter was sitting at his desk waiting for class to start the teacher came in through the open door "your early Mr Parker, class doesn't start for another ten minutes I would of thought you would be with Mr Osborn and Miss Stacy" Peter moved a piece of paper under his book then replied "yes, well I just thought I would do some studying before class" his teacher noticed the somewhat sad expression on his face and asked "what's the matter Peter? Is it about someone you have feelings for?" Peter looked down at his desk with an embarrassed look on his face and nodded, the teacher looked at him with a small smile and asked, "is it Miss Stacy?" Peter looked surprised his teacher figured it out then asked, "is it that obverse?" his teacher did a slight node and replied "ya, kind of is" Peter looked away in embarrassment.

With that his teacher got up to walk away then turn her head to Peter "and Peter" Peter's head shot up "yes" she smiled and continued "that is a good likeness of her" he picked up the picture of Gwen he was drawing then with a small smile he placed the picture in his bag then the bell went off signifying class was about to start.

As the bell went off telling all the students and staff that class was over all the students stood up to leave, Peter picked up his bag as he did the paper that had Gwen's picture that he had drawn fell out of his bag.

Gwen noticed this and after Peter had walked away, she picked it up and unfolded it to see a drawn picture of her, a small smile formed across her face and she put the picture in her bag and left the class room to go to her next class.

At Lunch, peter went to grab the picture out of his bag to work on it, to find it wasn't there he looked through his bag franticly trying to find it.

Then someone held the picture in front of his face "looking for this?" asked a voice he looked around to see Gwen standing there holding the picture "um…yeah mind if I have it back?" Peter asked her whilst blushing slightly, smiling she handed the picture back to him and sat next to him, there was silence between them for a few moments then peter asked "how's your hand?" she looked at her hand and replied "fine" then out of nowhere Harry came over to them and sat between them "hay Pete, want to have lunch with us?" he smiled at Harry and politely declined "no thanks Harry I need to catch up on some work I missed" with that he walked away with his head down.

Chapter 3

At home Peter stays in his room, Aunt May knocked on the door "Peter Dinner is ready" he looked up from his book got up then went down for dinner.

Siting at the table with his thoughts off thinking about Gwen and Harry "Peter I'm worried about you lately you don't talk to any one and you just stay in your room drawing and studying" Aunt May looked down at the table for a moment " I understand that it is hard to deal the loss of your best friends father but it isn't good to lock yourself away from everything" getting annoyed at Aunt May Peter stood up then walked out slamming the door behind.

Peter was walking through the park and came across Harry and Gwen arguing "you said you would always be with me!" Harry shouted at Gwen with that Harry left Gwen in the park to cry, seeing this Peter went over to comfort her "Gwen what's wrong?" he asked knowing the answer, she turned to him and placing her head onto his chest then he put his arms around her trying to comfort her, after a few minuets Gwen looked Peter in the eyes then said "thanks Pete" he looked at her with a sadden look in his eyes "I'll be fine" she said with that she left to go home.

Peter went and sat on a bench and became lost in his thoughts he realised that Harry was using Gwen to hurt him because he overheard their confession a year ago.

Peter sat back trying figure out what comes next, does he confront him, tell Gwen, he remained on the park bench for another few hours.

When he came home Aunt May rushed over to him and gave him a massive embrace "Peter I was worried you have been gone for hours" Peter returned Aunt May embrace "sorry Aunt May I just needed to sort out my thoughts" with that Peter made his way up stairs to bed.

Days went past with Peter going through his average day at school and wondering how to go about confronting Harry about everything whilst seeing Gwen getting more and more upset.

Chapter 4

Until one day when the bell for class went and the halls of the school where empty with all students were in class except for Peter, Gwen and Harry who were late.

Peter was still trying to figure out what to do about Harry, noticing this Gwen looked over at Peter then went over to see if he's alight "Pete you ok" she asked he looked at her smiled and replied "yeah" at that moment Harry came over grabbed her arm and stated to pull her away from Peter.

"Harry let me go!" she said angrily, with out thinking Peter went over to them then pulled Harry's hand off of Gwen, angry at his friend Harry released himself from Peters grip then clenched his hand into a fist and swung it towards Peter's face.

Reacting on instinct Peter jumped out of the way landing on the roof in his signature Spidey pose then using his web shooters that were hidden under the sleeves of his top he webbed up Harry to incomposite him and doing so he just revealed his biggest secret to both of his Best friends.

Not thinking about that Peter went over to Gwen to see if she was alright, she was standing with her eyes and mouth wide open unable to believe what she just witnessed "Peter is Spider man" she thought to herself, she was snapped back to reality when Peter put his hand on her shoulder "Gwen are you ok?" Peter asked her in a worried tone still somewhat bemused at what she just saw she could only nod.

With the confirmation that she was ok Peter wrapped his arms around her, once he let go he realised that he outed himself "yeah, I'm Spider man sorry I didn't tell you sooner" he said to Gwen who simply smiled placed a hand on his face then said "its ok, actually it makes so much sense on why you are late all the time" Peter returned her smile then turned to face Harry who at that moment in time was suspended above the floor encased in webbing except for his head Peter went over to him then said "sorry Harry I didn't mean to wrap you up in webbing" Harry looked at both his friends and said "look Pete in know that I went too far with using Gwen to hurt you and Gwen I'm sorry for hurting you, but I can't forgive the fact that your Spider man and you let my father die" hearing this Peter got Harry down out of the web with that Harry made his way out of the school.

Peter turned to Gwen and asked in a quiet tone "Gwen Stacy would you go out with me?" she was sad that Harry resented Peter but she couldn't hide from her feeling's anymore smiled then said "Peter Parker nothing would make me happier" they both embraced each other and shared a kiss that was long overdue.
