A/N: Hello people not much to say except I hope you like it~
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto that would be Kishimoto-chan xD
The forest was littered to the brink with snow and ice. Sitting underneath a snow capped pine tree stood a little girl all by herself. She had been waiting for a couple hours now, and thankfully she realized that she was truly alone. The gusting wind blew her bangs out of her eyes to reveal wide red tinted jade orbs, but the girl let out a soft chuckle when she realized how sad it was that she was relieved to be alone. How pathetic.
Children, mostly older girls had been chasing the pinkette through the forest not realizing how far they had gone through the forest the girls had given up on the younger girl with pink hair and left. Since then she had been curled up under a tree simply waiting. It was also getting late already into the evening and the girl tilted her head up to monitor the sky. It was beautiful with a mixture of colors: reds, oranges, pinks, and even gold. Oh and the clouds were even tinted a lavender. She sighed and stood up. Haruno Sakura, a six year old little girl with cherry blossom colored hair, straight and thick reaching to her shoulders but today she had them in two short pig tails. Her jade eyes were no longer tinted pink but still quite puffy enough to know she had been crying. Her fair skin soft but scratched up from head to toe because of the beating the girls had given her.
Time to try to find home or sleep in the snow covered forest for the night.
Sakura rubbed her red mittens together blowing at them to get some heat despite having the mittens, a thick coat on, two pairs of pants, boots and a red covered cat eared hat on the little girl was still quite bitterly cold. It didn't snow often in the Hidden Leaf Village but when it did it was absolutely a frigid out. All the trees out here were old, gnarled something out of a bad fairy tale and Sakura needed to get a move on. Until she realized another thing. Her tracks have been covered over. Dang it! She was pretty far out from the village in fact, she was almost positive that this was wolf territory and if she was either Sakura needed to find a tree to stay in for the night or run.
So she ran.
A shudder escaped her through the icy wind while she ran as fast as her little legs would allow, and then she fell over a log, angrily she kicked at the darned thing almost finding it useless to try to get back to the village tonight but her ryoshin would be very perturbed. All she felt, all she could do...was nothing like always! Sakura knew it wouldn't change anything if she did get eaten if anything it would probably make her parents life a lot easier. And now, with it even darker with less colors except a darkening blue she really wouldn't be able to find her way back home. So the girl huddled into a ball of white and red. There she awaited whatever fate the night would allow for the girl.
A dark curtain fell over the land, twinkling spotlights adorning the velvet texture of the night. Under the full moonlight stood a boy with long black hair pulled back and obsidian eyes narrowed at the ball by a log. It barely moved but Itachi could see that the ball was actually a child. What on earth was a child doing here? The forest remained silent and if the child had noticed him she remained quiet herself. Pink hair...Itachi did know who she was. Not by name but it was hard not to remember someone with pink hair. A young girl with beautiful jade eyes if he remebered right she was about Sasuke's age. Poor thing.
Well time to find out what happened.
Okay I know it's short especially on Itachi's end but it will be longer on the next chapter.
