Disclaimer: I don't own the characters.

Author's note: Thank you for following the first book of Blindness and Deafness, I still don't have any proper title for the second book. Anyway I hope you all will enjoy this first chapter.

"Chihiro," my aunt gave a cup of hot chocolate as I stared at the window in my room. It's been a month since the car crash, I have experienced terrible nightmares. Sometimes my mind would just drift off somewhere and start to search for answers. I felt like I lost something, something so valuable and precious.

I thanked my aunt as she closed the door. My rehabilitation has been really good, I have few progressions. I can now walk in a slow pace and stand still without any crutches. Sometimes I would wander around the backyard and stare at the stream for a long period of time.

I kept having these thoughts that I forgot someone. I remembered the crash and everything else in the hospital but I can't remember anything during my coma. My eyes suddenly caught a figure flying over the sky. It was swift that I only saw a glimpse of it.

I ran outside. But the sky was empty. There was only the sound of the wind brushing the trees. I sighed, then I went back to my room. I slept for the whole day as the evening approaches my aunt suddenly knocked at my door.

"Chihiro, there's someone here to see you," I was curious, who would see me during this time? My school is far from this place. I haven't met anyone in this town. "He said he is a friend of yours,"

A he?

I went to the living room. The back of the person was so familiar. I breathed heavily. I know him. He stood up and faced me suddenly. I could only let out a single word the moment my eyes met his dark green ones.

"Haku," I whispered under my breath.

She said "Haku", it felt like I was about to explode with happiness. I can't believe I'm seeing her and hearing her at the same time. I tried to contain my feelings. I smiled warmly at her. I can see dark circles under her eyes indicating she must have not slept well for how many days.

"Sit down dear," her aunt motioned her. She was still staring at me in disbelief. She must have a lot of questions encircling her mind right now. "Sit down," I whispered to her. She sat at the sofa adjacent to mine. I could not help smiling.

"I'll leave you two alone," her aunt said as she left and went to her room.

As soon as I heard the door shut, Chihiro's eyes were swelling with tears. "Haku? Is that really you?" she asked as she touched my face, my shoulders and my hands. "I thought you were gone! I almost forgot you!"

I tried to calm down her emotions. I went and kneeled in front of her. She looked at me still bawling her eyes out. She suddenly hugged my head so tight to her chest. I just let her cry for a few minutes.

"Sorry," she giggled. "I just can't believe that you are here,"

"Chihiro," I said, "I cannot stay here for long,"

"What? Why?" she began asking questions

"I know, but I'll be back," I replied to her, "I promise you I will, Zeniba granted me a chance to meet you in a human form for only a short period of time," I hugged her tightly. "Wait for me okay?"

She nodded. "I know you have a lot of questions but I'll answer them when I get back," she led me to their door. I gave her one last glanced, "I will be back," I reassured her doubting look. She nodded.

Chihiro and Haku met again, but this time they met in the human world. What happened after Chihiro lost her memories? How did Zeniba helped Haku gain a human form? Will everything finally be a happy ending for them?
