Chapter 1 - The Aftermath and Afterwards

Well, hello.

Surprised you're still here.

Here I was, thinking that I write like a cat walking on a keyboard and I look at the number of views I've gotten and decide to write the next and final story.

Feel free to skip the middle three chapters, if this is done and you want to get this over with.

Now, with that being said, thank you.

I love the feeling that I've accomplished something.

Now, LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY ALREADY!

By the way, don't be surprised by the content of this chapter. Spyro is an adult, as he's finished school. (Even if he wasn't, it's been 15 months, and another two years.)

Part 1: The Aftermath

The rolling fields reflected the morning sun in their diamond dew. The forest glowed in its emerald majesty. The azure sky smiled down on us. The golden sun turned the mountains to obsidian glaring at us through the crisp quartz air.

This would have been perfectly amazing if it was here thirty seconds ago.

The fact that it wasn't made it that much more amazing.

I couldn't help but gawk at this.

Spyro and Ember fluttered down, awkwardly smiling at each other.

I composed myself and only inwardly gawked.

This. Was. Not. Possible. Scratch that. I've seen a lot of impossible things recently. This was downright crazy.

Part 2: After the Aftermath

It's been two years since that time reversal spell.

We had decided that we couldn't live on Mount Rebellious. Too many memories.

Our permanent home is now the Enduring Valley.

And there I was, going out hunting, when I passed a group of humans coming back from hunting and one of them just disintegrated.

I was frightened as {CENSORED}.

Needless to say, I didn't go hunting that day.

Spyro came back to his and Ember's home after a visit to Jet-Vac's. He had had a lengthy chat with Jet-Vac and Master Eon's ghost there. Lengthy chats weren't his thing, but he had managed to hang on.

His new home was a very classy two-story house of marble brick and glass.

As he opened the door, he noticed that Ember wasn't where she usually was, either cooking on the stove or taking a nap on a couch. He said, "Ember?"

He heard her voice shouting from one of the back rooms, "Spyro! Come quick!"

Spyro rushed into the room where her voice came from, a room full of couches for relaxing.

Ember was lying on a rug and looked up at Spyro in the doorway. She lifted her wing to reveal three eggs, one blue, one purple, and one red.

Spyro was speechless.
