It was Christmas time and Canaan was helping Maria decorate "how's it going canaan" Maria asked peeking her head out from the kitchen "almost done just gotta finish putting up this last bit of lights and we can start decorating the tree" canaan said Maria smiled and headed back into the kitchen canaan saw the mistletoe smiled grabbed it and hid it in her pocket Maria came out and the two began to decorate the tree "all I want for Christmas is you " playing on the radio they made fun of the job chasing each other around the tree finally it was time to put the star on top canaan gave Maria a boost and she put the star on top she sat Maria down and switched on the lights it was a beautiful sight the lights glowing the tinsel shining "it's beautiful " Maria said " Hey Maria " canaan said she pulled out the mistletoe and held it above Maria's head and kissed her on the cheek "huh what was that for" Maria asked canaan pointed above her head and said one word "mistletoe" she looked up and saw it " oh canaan if you wanted a kiss all you had to do was say so" she giggled "yeah true but you got to admit this way was more festive" canaan grinned "you do got a point there " Maria agreed just then the door bell rang "oh that's them " Maria said and went to answer the door "welcome yun-yun Mino-San " she gave yun-yun a hug and shook hands with Mino canaan put the mistletoe on the stand and moved to the kitchen to get a drink Maria snagged it and hid it in her pocket she grinned canaan came back in the room and the party begin they talked and laughed sang and danced after the gift exchanges Maria pulled out the mistletoe and kissed canaan on the lips canaan surprised for a moment kissed her back "Maria " she whispered and held her close and kissed her again "canaan I-I love you" she blushed "I love You too Maria I was just scared to say so" canaan confessed then Mino and yun-yun started laughing "it's about time " Mino said and yun-yun nodded her head in agreement it was a merry Christmas indeed
