Prologue:

Mintfeather sat on the bank of the river. She stared at the clear water. Fish swam this way and that, the sun making them glow silver. A cat padded up to her and sat down beside her.

"I thought you didn't like being near water, Mintfeather." The cat meowed.

"I was thinking about the prophecy." Mintfeather sighed.

"Me too." The cat meowed and gazed at the fish. "What was it again?"

Mintfeather purred with amusement. "A cat from the loud crash, one from the waters, one from the shadows, and one from the breeze shall come together and make peace within the clans."

"Ah, yes." The cat meowed and placed his tail around Mintfeather's shoulders.

"Don't you have somewhere to be, Minktail?" Mintfeather asked him.

"Oh, yes." Minktail meowed. "I guess it is the half-moon meeting and I must deliver the prophecy."

"Good luck." Mintfeather meowed. Minktail nodded and he padded away. Mintfeather grinned.

"My plan is going just as I intended it to." Mintfeather meowed evily and padded away.

The cat hiding in the bushes stepped out when he saw that Mintfeather was gone.

I must warn them! He thought and raced off.
