Fredddy Fazbear's Pizza is a small pizzeria located in the relatively-small city of Valdosta, Georgia. This restaurant is mainly known for its four Animatronic Characters: Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken and Foxy the Pirate Fox. Children come from all over the aera to see the animatronic band perform. Seems like a nice, family-friendly restaurant, right? Well, it is, most of the time. However, from the hours of Midnight to 6:00 AM, the animatronics at Freddy's go into 'Night Mode', a horribly flawed system which allows the animatronics to move around the restaurant under their own power. Now, normally this would not be a problem. But, thanks to another 'Night Mode' clause, which states that no humans are allowed after hours, the animatronics end up thinking that the night watchmen is a naked endoskeleton. And since endoskeletons must be in their suit at all times, the night guards (if caught) are forcefully stuffed into spare animatronic suits. Now, this wouldn't be so bad if the suits were not filled with crossbeams, wires and other robotic doohickeys. Being shoved into one of those things would most likely lead to death. So, what is a guard to do?

Micheal Richard Schmidt is a Marine Private and the current security guard at Freddy Fazbear's. He is on his 7th night in the restaurant, a new record for survival time. It is nearly 6:00, and Mike is looking forward to quitting from this hell-hole of a job. Looking at the small tablet used to see the security cameras and the generator's power level, Mike (as was his nickname) quickly checked around the restaurant, looking for Bonnie. He switched to Cam 2B, the western hall's end. Normally, there was a poster of Freddy Fazbear visible on this camera. However, this time there was a distorted image of a yellow version of Freddy. Mike threw the tablet down in shock, a grave mistake. That same golden Freddy teleported into the small office (even though both doors were closed) and launched itself at Mike. The power ran out, and Mike fainted.
