The Ravenna estate, home to a once-great family. This family once opulent and imperial has now fallen upon hardship because of the ancestor's opposition and blindness with that which should never have been sought after. This man sent a letter to his last family member and heir to the family fortune and estate; sent out expeditions of mercenaries to explore and map, collect treasures and lore, fight and slay foes be they human, unholy monstrosities, or eldritch abominations. After thirty years of bloody fighting with horrific losses the hired forces of the Ravenna bloodline defeated the greatest of the dark hearts champions and retook the estate with the hamlet growing into a fortified town ready to hold-back and even fight-back should the heart of darkness ever beat with a pulse once again… or so the story goes.

Now it has been many years since the fighting of the Ravenna War and it is taught to all fore none wish to repeat such a war against such an ancient cosmic, unknowable, horrific truth ever again. It is now the twenty-first century and a new generation of heroes must take up the mantle of their long-past ancestors of old and fight against the newest incarnation of the heart of darkness and its champions before it can bring its full might to bare against all who opposes it. However, will this new generation of hero's be our salvation or our damnation.
