Chapter 1:
Petunia Evans was a quiet albeit a brilliant young eleven-year-old girl who wants nothing more than her younger sister's time at Hogwarts to be smooth. Although her parents were oblivious to it, Petunia knew her sister was magical so she decided once she was accepted into Hogwarts to trace magical bloodlines through Gringotts and saw it. Both of her parents descended from squibs (Non-magical witches and wizards.) and as such, she wanted to make her sister's sorting as smooth as possible.
When "Evans, Petunia" was called her sorting began. "Hello," she said in her conscious hoping to keep her sorting private. "Hello there. Evans right? *sigh* You were always difficult people to sort but ah alas! You are not difficult to sort." said the Sorting Hat as he shouted "GRYFFINDOR!"
Lily Evans was excited when she got her letter for the first time. Petunia her big sister was sorted into Gryffindor just last year and had many adventures at Hogwarts. She knew she was magical as weird things happened to her. In other universes, her big sister called her a freak, but in this one, her big sister tried to think of many theories that included magic. In four years, however, they found the truth in a letter and one Professor McGonagall. They were both magical witches.
When "Evans, Lily" was called and her sorting began many whispers about her and Petunia started. Especially at Slytherin Table as having two muggle-born children of the same parentage to be magical. When she sat down on the stool and the sorting hat placed on her head she was sorted into Gryffindor.
James Potter was what one would think to be a distinguished young man. Especially his family's wealth but the Potter's were not known for being normal. The Potter's only claim to be wealthy was Potter Manor. Other than that they only used what they got from work. They only used their wealth for School. James Potter was pretty humble thank you very much and only turned posh when someone insulted his family of Gryffindors. On the train, he met a pretty girl he introduced himself to her and she introduced herself and they became friends. He also made friends with three other boys. Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Frank Longbottom. The first one the girl's sister took interest in.
When "Potter, James" was called his sorting began. "Hi," he said and the Sorting Hat replied "Ah we meet at last," and James replied "We talked last week," and the hat replied "Whatever. Anyways, I'm gonna make this easy." the hat said as he shouted "GRYFFINDOR!"
Sirius Black was not one to conform to his family's pureblood wishes of him being in Slytherin. So when he got on the train and found friends wanting to be in Gryffindor he was happy and content. So he also had a plan as well... when Summer hit he will run with his younger brother Regulus to Andromeda's house or James's house. His plan also included making his younger brother's sorting as smooth as possible.
When "Black, Sirius" was called his sorting began and ended as soon as the hat touched his head the hat bellowed "GRYFFINDOR!". The entire Great Hall was so silent you could hear a pin drop.
Remus Lupin was a werewolf a first-generation werewolf and he had a dream of going to Hogwarts but that was already crushed. That was until July 5th when Dumbledore came to his house and told him that if he kept this secret and took the necessary safety precautions there shouldn't be any reason why he shouldn't come to school. So he was ecstatic, to say the least.
When "Lupin, Remus" was called his sorting began and as soon as the hat touched his head the hat bellowed "GRYFFINDOR!".
Frank Longbottom was a very friendly person when people were nice but when people weren't nice he went into family politics mode. Basically by going and threatening a blood feud almost.
When "Longbottom, Frank" was called his sorting began and ended as soon as the hat touched his head the hat bellowed "GRYFFINDOR!".
