A/N: Hi everyone! this is a new idea i recently thought would be good as a story. hope you enjoy chaper one! and apologies if anyone is out of character. just let me know and i'll try to adjust!

It was always cold in the cells, Romano had grown used to the bitter winds in his prison within a prison. Though, he'd never grow used to the reason he was on 'house arrest' as they called it. He hadent broken a rule, or tried to run away. no no no, this was much worse. He had swore. yes, a simple word landed him a punishment. One. fucking. word.

It was stupid honestly. he had heard other, less dangerous nations, say much more vulger phrases, and they got off scot free! it wasnt fair.

Lovino had gotten a visit a few days after being confined to his cell. He'd gone through the process of punishment before, so he didnt worry as the stern woman aproached with a clipboard in hand and an annoyed gleam in her eyes.

"Ciao bella~. Here to test me?" he smirked, being part of italy was good for one thing, you knew how to make the ladies blush. he was given the question paper and a pen, nothing more nothing less. it had simple questions 'Why did you lash out?' 'Will you act this way again?' He answered swiftly, dabbling lies in each answer so he could get out. And it worked, he was pulled out of his cell and brought to his groupmates.

God, it was good to see his mates again, except for the stupid spaniard who glomped Romano uppon sight. that was always his reaction to seeing lovino. Glomp the poor Italian. it got boring before long, yet Antonio still did so.

Lovi was about to start his rant to get Spain off, before the bone crushing hug became even tighter. That was rare.. like, 'only-happened-when-a-nation-died' rare. He tapped the Spaniard twice and was released. He took a deep breath before flipping Spain off "I swear to God Antonio.. you're gonna break my ribs with your hugs one day!" He huffed as the other chuckled "Sorry Lovi, I cant help it! today's a good day!"

"You always say that"

"Because it's true!"

"Well why should i care about today?"

"because"

"because why?"

"Because we're getting out ."

That caught lovino off gaurd. Nations had mentioned getting out but... no one ever succeeded. he'd seen the others try, and they disappeared, caught and killed for breaking the one worldwide rule. So there was no way He was gonna try.
