Minilla woke at the sound of his father getting up. Godzilla looked at his son and growled softly, telling his son to go back to sleep. The little tyke nodded, before falling back asleep. With one last glance at the kaiju prince, the King of the Monsters slipped under the waves, with only one destination in mind, New York City.

In said city…

"There he goes! The big evil sailor all the way to the...ohhh! Not quite! Didn't make it! Hey, Ray. Say four guys the size of your finger knocked you off the side of a thirty-story building and you had to climb all the way back up to tear 'em apart. H...how mad would you be at those four little dinky types?" asked Peter of the legendary Ghostbusters. "I'd go with mighty pissed!" was the tech's response. Sure enough, when the team looked down again, there he was, the physical form of Gozar, the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man, looking very, VERY peeved.

"What do you guys think, blast him now or let him climb up and we give him a fighting chance? Today is just not the guy's day!" asked Winston, looking at his teammates. The group chuckled before Peter spoke up. " As much as even I want to, we've got a long night ahead of us, and we need all the time we can get." The others nodded and aimed their Proton Packs, ready to blow Stay Puff's face off, when Egon's PK Meter started going haywire. Even Stay Puff stopped, but not for the same reason. As he stared out towards the ocean, the Ghostbusters looked at the PK Meter. "There seems to be a large amount of radiation headed this way," he observed. "Ya, we can see that Egon, but WHAT is it?" Peter asked.

SHREEEEONK!

Egon looked at the source of the roar. "That's what," he said as Godzilla turned the corner to confront the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man. The sugary ghost let go of the building and landed with a CRASH, cratering the streets. With a grunt, he charged the Kaiju King, who slammed his tail on the ground and beat his fists together, then charged. The two titans collided and started shoving, the strength battle easily being in Godzilla's favor. The kaiju twisted and slammed Stay Puff into a building. The sharp shrapnel cut into Stay Puff's soft body, causing him to cry out in pain. The two smashed through the structure, emerging on the other street.

Godzilla shoved the dentist's worst nightmare back and raised his fists, getting into a fighting stance. Stay Puff grumbled before he swung a fist, only for Godzilla to duck under the attack and pop up with an upper-cut, staggering the s'more. Stay Puff regained his balance and threw another punch, only for the King of the Monsters to grab the arm and judo throw him, sending him sailing.

The sugary foe face-planted, groaning as he got up. He needed help, and he knew just how to get it. He hunched over and lanched three globs of marshmallow from his back, one of them flying out of sight behind some buildings.

Godzilla stared at the lumps, wondering what the heck his foe was planning. Suddenly, the blobs burst into flame, taking shape into horrid replicas of their "dad", really they looked like they were on the receiving end of Baragon's Magma Heat-Ray. They split up, Godzilla glancing at both of them, trying to look at both at the same time.

Suddenly, a boiling sensation spread on his back. The third Mini Puff had jumped on his back and wrapped its arms around his neck. As the King staggered about, one of the Minis started climbing the building the Ghostbusters were on. While Stay Puff chuckled, Godzilla concentrated, calling on a hidden power.

An I-beam flew through the air, slamming into the kaiju's scaley hide and sticking there. More metal began flying and sticking to the Kaiju King. The Mini Puff tilted its head in confusion, while Stay Puff scratched his head, not seeing the street behind him crack. A subway train erupted out of the ground and slammed into his back, exploding and setting his back ablaze. The Mini Puff looked up in shock and Godzilla grabbed it and tossed it off. He turned his attention to the one climbing the building.

"Alright gang, let's fry this sucker," Peter said as he and the Gang took aim. But before they could fire, a blue burst of light forced them to cover their eyes. When it died down, the Mini Puff was splattered across the building. The team was in shock. Then Egon pointed at the King below them. "I think he's responsible for that," he said pointing. "Well, I guess we just watch, then," Winston said. A rattle of metal turned the team's attention to Slimer and several of his friends, who had brought a cart of popcorn. The Group was confused, but took some anyway and enjoyed the show.

Godzilla turned to Stay Puff, glaring daggers at the mascot. The second Mini Puff lunged, but the Earth Defender was ready. His fins ignited, glowing blue. A split second later, he opened his mouth and a wispy blue beam was fired. The Mini Puff took a direct hit, the power of the Atomic Bomb tearing it apart. Flaming chunks of marshmallow rained down from the sky. The last Mini climbed up an apartment building, waiting to strike.

Godzilla and Stay Puff charged, sending concrete flying with each step they took. Godzilla made the first blows, unleashing a flurry of punches to the dessert's chest. Stay Puff wailed and shoved the King back and socked him right in the face. Godzilla staggered back. He wasn't hurt, but he was stunned from the knockback.

Stay Puff chuckled before punching Godzilla in the chest, knocking him back. The sentient marshmallow bent down and grabbed a bus, not caring about the kids inside. Luckily their screams were heard. Godzilla rolled his eyes, this again? First Titanosaurus when he was under mind-control, now this guy? Oh well, it always warmed his heart to save humans.

Stay Puff pulled back and tossed the bus. The King of the Monsters caught it with ease and gently placed it down, watching it drive off. Stay Puff snuck up behind him and wrapped his arms around his neck and threw Godzilla to the ground. He followed up with a kick, sending Godzilla flying. The Atomic Titan shrieked as he crashed to the ground, cratering the streets. Stay Puff chuckled and charged, ready to pummel his foe.

Not on Godzilla's watch.

Pushing himself on one elbow, he fired an Atomic Beam, nicking Stay Puff in the cheek, setting said body part alight. Stay Puff wailed and frantically patted out the flames. Godzilla got up and charged. The ghostly mascot screamed like a little girl when the King lashed out with his claws, slicing his collar. He then followed up with a punch to the gut, then a headbutt.

Stay Puff growled before grabbing Godzilla's head and slammed him into a building. Godzilla responded by taking one of the giant TVs and swing it at Stay Puff like a sword. Stay Puff yelped when it was swung down, embedding it in the streets. As the kaiju struggled to pull his weapon out, Stay Puff chuckled and kicked Godzilla in the groin, which did nothing.

Godzilla caught his foe's leg and looked up at Stay Puff, raising an eyebrow. Really? Points for effort, but he should have known better. With a heave, he tossed Stay Puff through the air, landing with a thud. After placing the TV back where it belonged, Godzilla stomped after his not-so-sweet foe.

Stay Puff groaned as he recovered, only to yelp in shock when his radioactive opponent grabbed him by the back and rammed him head-first into a building, forcing him to shield his face and hold his hat in place with one arm and attempt to strike Godzilla with the other.

Not if the King of the Monsters had anything to say about it.

Stay Puff could only scream as Godzilla sprinted forward, plowing the ghost's head through a row of buildings, the sharp debris slicing into his arm. At last, Godzilla stopped and threw Stay Puff, panting a bit. The last time he ran that fast was when he saved Zone Fighter from Jeller. Stay Puff got up and bellowed with rage at Godzilla, who roared back and stomped forward.

A gurgling cry sounded behind Godzilla, who turned around just in time to get a face full of the final Mini Puff. He shrieked in pain as his eyes were burnt. Stay Puff and the Mini laughed at his agony. Fins lit up, and the Mini Puff's orange lines shone blue. A moment later, it exploded, splattering the bugger across the buildings. Slowly, Godzilla turned around, glaring at Stay Puff with eyes reddened from the burning pain. Regeneration or not, that hurt. Stay Puff charged in, pulling back a fist, ready to strike.

Right before he could sock Godzilla in the face, the Earth Defender took a page out of Gorosaurus' book and leaned back on his tail and Kangaroo Kicking the s'more, sending him tumbling. Godzilla landed and prepared his next strike. Stay Puff stumbled back, using a motel for support. Godzilla ran forward a few steps, then leaned back on his tail, letting inertia do the rest. The Stay Puff Marshmellow Man looked up just in time to take the Sliding Dropkick right to the chest, smashing him through the building and into Times Square.

Stay Puff tumbled to a stop and climbed to his feet just as Godzilla stepped in. The two charged, and as Godzilla neared, he spun around and nailed Stay Puff with his tail, sending him into a building. As he pushed off it, Godzilla's sharp eyes spotted several people at the base that were being harassed by ghosts. He snorted and looked at the charging marshmellow. He fired his Atomic Breath, nailing Stay Puff in the gut. Despite this, he kept going. Godzilla charged, lowering his head and tossing him into the air, then continued toward the collapsing building and catching it. He roared at the ghosts, scaring them off.

A chunk of concrete shattered against his back, and Godzilla growled as Stay Puff chuckled. Once the people got to safety, he let go, only for it to collapse on him. Stay Puff doubled over with laughter. Little did he know, Godzilla had become a magnet again. The King of the Monsters exploded from the rubble, grabbing a construction crane that had been a few buildings over. The cabin was destroyed, but Godzilla wasn't planning on using it as a club. The two charged, and Godzilla grabbed Stay Puff by the throat and stabbed the crane through his left eye and out the back of his head.

Stay Puff wailed in annoyance. Being a giant humanoid marshmellow meant he could feel no pain, other than burns. A blue flash caught his attention and a look of pure terror came over his face before his head was engulfed in Atomic Fury. Godzilla cut off the blast and watched his foe grab his burning head. But then, Stay Puff stopped stumbling about and lowered his hands. Godzilla took a step back at the sight of Stay Puff screaming at him in pure rage, his face ablaze. But his shock soon faded, and before Stay Puff could charge, he let loose with his Atomic Breath, blowing Stay Puff's head off.

As the body fell limp to the ground, a humanoid figure shot out of the body and glared at Godzilla. Before either could do anything, four streams of energy restrained Gozar. Godzilla lowered his gaze and spotted four humans holding strange guns that were firing the streams. One of them kicked a metal box under the phantom, which opened up and pulled Gozar in. They high-fived each other before climbing into a car. Before they drove off, one of them leaned out and gave Godzilla a thumbs-up, then they drove off as the King of the Monsters gave them a farewell roar.

As for the body, he knew just what to do with it.

Minilla awoke to his father's roar and joined the other islanders on the beach, who were chowing down. The little fella squealed and gave his dad a hug. Godzilla patted his head and tore off a piece of the body and handed it to his son before digging in himself.
