Lost Soldier of Zero

The current year is 4826, Humanity has found a way to explore the great unknown of the Multiverse. But that would change due to a war they were in with a Synthetic race called the Haydonites. A Starship known as the Dawn of Ice was destroyed by the enemy. A Spartan by the name of Nova Five survived the engagement and now finds himself as a Familiar to the young mage named Louise.

Chapter 1: A Golem and a Strange Fortress (Rewrite)

In the year 4789, Humanity has achieved the technology to explore the Multiverse. As Humanity kept on exploring, they discovered different humanities with different and highly advanced technologies. These different versions of Humanity had their own purposes and engaged in war, unil a mysterious and powerful force engaged them. The greatest enemy that Humanity across the Multiverse has ever faced, the Haydonites. The Haydonites interfered in the Cosmic wars of 4793. Knowing that the Haydonites and their great technology and having immense control over Reapers, The different Humanities forged A Federation that would be known as the U.G.F.S.

The United Galactic Federation of Space was created for two purposes, exploration and a defense against the Haydonites. The war between the U.G.F.S and the Haydonites has waged into the year of 4826. Even with the combined technologies of these different Humanities, they were still losing this war. This struggle only made the bond of these different Humanities stronger, this bond was strong enough to the point where these Humanities have forgotten their differences.

Now the Galaxy Constitution Class star ship called the Dawn of Ice and it's fleet have engaged a small portion of the enemies massive fleet. The Dawn of Ice's fleet was completely eradicated, along with the Dawn of Ice itself. But little did anyone know that there would be a survivor who would soon change the fate of all Humanity in the adventures he is about to embark on.

-February 28 4826 / 19:00 p.m / The Solaris Region-

Nothing but wreckage of the fallen ships of the U.G.F.S could be seen. Then, flashes of explosions could be seen in the distance of the wreckage. The view of the explosions gets closer and closer to show the Dawn of ice (which is very damaged) firing all that it has on Haydonites war ships.

The view changes to show the inside of the ship. The corridors were filled with sparks, debris, and dead bodies of the crew of the Dawn of Ice. This view changes to the bridge, filled with more dead crew members and the dead body of the Captain in his chair. The view slowly turns around to show a 7'5 foot soldier that is wearing a combination of the Mk 6 Mjolnir armor, N7 armor, and Arc Clone Trooper armor with a color scheme of worn out gun metal-gray and red.

The view changes to show the soldier wearing the Mk 6 Mjolnir helmet and looking at the weapon controls on the panel in front of the Captain's chair. The soldier was maintaining all the weapon controls with expertise and kept on looking at the screen of the shots making minor damage on the Haydonites War Ships.

"Church, what's the status of the ships shields and navigation systems!" The Soldier yelled out, while keeping concentration on the weapons. Soon, an A.I wearing a light blue colored armor of the Mk 6 Mjolnir Armor appears on the flight systems on the right side of the panel.

"Shields are completely gone and the navigation systems are almost fried, we can only move a little!" Church yelled out loud, while scrolling through the files of the system. The weapons system soon short circuits and fries up, the Soldier moved his hands back before it could burn his hands.

"Damn it, the weapon systems just blew out!" The Soldier said, red rays of light are seen approaching the Dawn of Ice. All of the rays hit the mid section of the ship, causing the ship to slowly tear apart.

"Great, they just hit vital points in the mid section of the ship! At this rate, we'll be torn apart!" Church yelled out in annoyance. The Soldier thinks for a minute and comes up with a desperate idea.

"Church, are the light speed cores still working!?" The Soldier asked. Church looked at him and was confused.

"Besides that one of them is leaking and threatening to explode, yeah some of them are still working!" Aiden then walks over to the right side of the panel and takes control of the flight controls.

"There's no other way that we're gonna survive or escape… this is all we got.." The Soldier locks coordinates onto the main Haydonite warship. Church then realizes what the Soldier was planning.

"This idea is crazy you know, this is a one way trip!" The Soldier then looks at Church.

"At least we'll be able to stop them from proceeding to Deltus!" The Soldier checks the condition of the light speed cores. After he was finished, he then activated the engines and made sure to keep the ship locked on the Haydonite warships.

"Guess this is it huh? If it is, it was nice knowing you man…" Church said. The Soldier stayed silent and nodded. The Soldier grabs onto the lever that activates light speed and looks towards the Haydonite warships.

The engines of the ship start to glow with light blue energy. The energy then moves down the engines, and towards the end of the engines

The end of the engines ignites with blue energy and flies towards the Haydonite warships.

-On the Haydonite Commanding Warship-

The Haydonites are wearing red cloaks and black hoods, and have one glowing pink eye. They were viewing over the many holograms and information of the fight they were in with Dawn of Ice.

"The Organic and it's Construct have set their ship to collide with ours, how shall we respond?" Another Haydonite turns to the Haydonite that asked the question.

"Terminate the Organic…" The Haydonitethat asked the question turned to a panel and activated all of the Warships weapons to destroy the Dawn of Ice.

-Back on the Dawn of Ice-

-Cue: Robotech Shadow Chronicles: Resolutions-

The bridge being torn apart and was being set ablaze, the Soldier took one last look at the Haydonite Warships before he would sacrifice himself for all of Humanity. The view of the Haydonite warships starts to warp, slowly starts to enter warp state. The Soldier was prepared for the inevitable end, but suddenly a green portal pops up in front of him.

"Church, are you seeing this?" The Soldier asked his A.I. A little square with Church on it appears in the Soldiers hud.

"Yea I see it, maybe it's one of those seeing the light stuff…" Church made a bitter joke of their situation. The portal then shines brightly, blinding the Soldier.

"Gah!" The Soldier yelled until everything went dark. The ship was getting torn apart by each shot the Haydonite Warships fired. Suddenly, the saucer section started to glow and then vanished.

-Haydonite Commanding Warship-

"The Organic's ships bridge has disappeared." One of the Haydonites said. The holograms start to flash red and make a noise, indicating that the ship is in danger.

"Evade!" One of the Haydonites yelled. Before another Haydonite can answer, the Dawn of Ice entered light speed and hit the Haydonite ship. The Dawn of Ice exploded on contact, and caused the Commanding warship to explode too. This explosion expanded and destroyed all the other Haydonite warships, leaving the surrounding space as an empty warzone.

-Tristain Academy / Outside the Academy walls-

Today was the day, it was the day of the summoning ritual for all the second year students. This day was where each student would summon something called a "Familiar". Everyone was very excited, except for one specific pink haired girl. This girl's name was Louise Fransçoise le Blanc de la Valliére.

Louise was different from her fellow second years, she had a low success rate with magic. It's a miracle that she passed her first year, an example of her low success rate was yesterday. Louise was asked to simply turn a pair of pebbles into brass, it only resulted in an explosion and knocking out the Teacher.

These failures would bring about the name that everyone calls her by, Louise the Zero. She was nervous, if she doesn't succeed in this summoning, she would get expelled from the Academy and her family would be ashamed. Besides, she did promise her rival Kirche Augusta Frederica von Anhalt Zerbst that she would summon a wise, strong, beautiful, and divine familiar. Unknown to Louise, she would be summoning far more different.

Before she knew it, everyone had already summoned their familiars. Most looked like normal animes, and some were strange, like a weird flying eyeball. Guiche de Gramont, a blonde haired boy who used a rose as a wand, had summoned a huge mole. Louise's rival summoned a Salamander and Tabitha de Gallia, had summoned a dragon.

"Has everyone summoned their familiars?" Asked an old man who was bald and wore glasses and was wielding a wooden staff. This person is Professor Colbert, a teacher at the Tristain Academy.

"Not everyone, Louise hasn't gone yet." Kirche teasingly said, making Louise even more nervous. She looked at Kirche with visible anger, but toughened up and walked in front of the class, preparing to do a summoning spell.

The students whispered to themselves on how Lousie will mess up this time, Louise simply ignored the insults, trying her best not to burst out in anger. Louise took a deep breath and prepared to cast the spell.

'My servant that exists in this vast Universe. My divine, wise, beautiful, and powerful servant, heed my call. I wish from the very bottom of my heart, answer my guidance and appear!' Louise then points her wand towards, and as expected by everyone, there was an explosion. But, this explosion was followed with a loud noise of something skidding across the ground.

"Just as expected from Louise the zero, another explosion!" One of the students said, while coughing because of the smoke.

"Are you alright Montmorency?" Guiche asked Montmorency, his "girlfriend". She didn't respond to Guiche's answer, she had a look of absolute shock on her face. Guiche looks towards what Montmorency was looking at. He too then shares the same shocked look as her.

The Class would soon share the same shock expression, except for Charlotte. The class sees some type of circle like fortress that is way bigger than the Academy itself. It looked like it was destroyed recently and it was sitting right in front of Louise.

"W-what type of fortress is that?" One of the students asked.

"A-at least Louise actually succeeded in something…" Another Student added.

Louise couldn't form any words and was confused. She was trying to summon a familiar, not some type of strange fortress.

"Students, please be careful… we do not know if this is dangerous…" Colbert said Cautiously.

-Inside the strange fortress-

"Hey! Wake up you lazy piece of metal and meat!" Church yelled at the unconscious Soldier. The Soldier slowly regained his consciousness and slowly got up with a groan.

The bridge was still on fire and lots of smoke was starting to build up. The Soldier had environmental systems in his armor, so he wasn't affected. He would approach one of the many computers and collected all the data it had with his omni tool and delete anything that was left, just in case if anyone tries to steal info, wherever he was.

"What happened?" Church sighed to the Soldiers question

"Basically Wizard of Oz type stuff happened, that's what…" Church said sarcastically. The Soldier slowly headed toward a panel near one of the bridge's computers. The Soldier would put in a code in the panel and a rack of weapons than come out of the wall. It would contain a M837-Avenger Assault rifle (A/N: A combination of a M8-Avenger and the MA37 Assault rifle.), M6G Magnum pistol, MD-12 Shotgun blaster, De-Atomizer, Type 3 Phaser rifle with a sniper scope, and his lightsaber that was attached to his right thigh armor and his combat knife that was attached to the left side of his chest plate.

The Soldier put both rifles on his back, the magnum next to his lightsaber, the De-Atomizer on his left thigh armor, and the MD-12 Shotgun blaster underneath the rifles.

"Any ideas on where we are, Church?" Said A.I pops up on his hud.

"If you get outside, I might be able to get a scan of where we are. There is way too much interference and smoke here…" The Soldier would approach the huge window at the front of the bridge and start punching it.

-Back with Louise-

Before anyone knew, a sound of glass getting punched could be heard. Suddenly, the sound of glass shattering spooked most of the students. Glass shards slowly came down from the strange fortress, along with tons of smoke. A human like figure then stepped out of the fortress, it had a weird metal like body and a strange golden like eye. But the most noticeable part was the strange weapons it had.

"Is that a Golem?" Kirche asked.

"I'm not sure, but it's way too small to be golem…" Just as Montmorency said that, the so-called slide down the strange fortress and landed in front of them. The students backed off a little, feeling intimidated. Louise soon realized that her spell did work, it only just brought her familiar with the strange fortress. But she couldn't help but feel slightly ashamed with the familiar she got. It wasn't beautiful, divine, and might not be wise. The only thing she was seeing was a sad excuse of a golem and its look of only being strong. She wasn't gonna be a master of some moving rocks.

"Church, where are we?" The Soldier asked, with his external speakers off so that none of the students can hear him and think that he's talking to himself.

"We are either in another universe filled with magic, or we are at a very terrible Harry Potter convention…" The Soldier grumbled from Church's comment. The Soldier then decided to listen in on what the students were talking about, but was left confused on what language they were all talking in before he realized.

'Are they talking in French?' The Soldier said mentally, he then proceeds to turn on his helmets translator so he can understand.

"Mr. Colbert, can I please try doing the summoning spell again!" Louise asked her teacher.

"You cannot…"

"What, why!?"

"Doing the ritual again would be dishonorable. If you do not respect this sacred summoning, I'm afraid I would have to expel you." Colbert strictly said to Louise. Louise couldn't help but grumble about how much she is gonna be made fun of now, but decided to suck it up.

"I am very lost right now…" The Soldier said to Church. Church couldn't help but nod in agreement.

"I think it's about time we introduce ourselves…" Church suggested. The Soldier proceeds to activate his external speakers.

"Excuse me, but may I know where I am?" The Soldier asked, catching the students and Teacher off guard. Everyone was surprised that a golem just talked.

"D-Did that golem just talk?" Guiche asked. The students all started to mutter among themselves. Mr. Colbert shakes off his fascination in the "Golem?" and answers its question.

"You are at the Tristain Academy of Magic, and I am the Instructor of the class you see right now." Mr. Colbert told the Soldier.

"Thank you sir and forgive my rudeness sir!" The Soldier salutes Mr. Colbert.

"Um...there's no need for formalities…just call me Mr. Colbert." The Soldier nods to Mr. Colbert's comment.

"Yes Mr. Colbert Sir!" Mr. Colbert sighs at the Soldier, still keeping his formal attitude.

"May I know your name?" Mr. Colbert asked. The Soldier straightens up and talks in a military like manner, confusing all the other students.

"I am Master Chief Petty Officer Spartan-9937 of the United Galactic Federation of Space Sir! My Call-sign is Nova Five Sir!" This made everyone even more confused. Having enough of this, Louise marches in between Mr. Colbert and the now named Nova Five and looks up at Five.

"Take off your helmet!" Louise presumed that this was armor, she knew that golems don't have the ability to talk. This thing must be human, besides it being 7ft tall.

"Wow, no proper introduction huh?" Church said in Five's helmet.

"No…" Five said plainly, giving some students a chill down their spines. Louise didn't like this answer and got very frustrated.

" I demand you to remove that helmet!" Five crossed his arms. Five lived in war torn Multiverse and didn't have to deal with children demanding people to do what they want.

"Look here 'KID', I just barely survived a slaughter against Haydonite forces. I'm also not I'm a very happy mood that my crew is dead and I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere being told by a 15-16 year kid telling me to remove my helmet..." Louise was now livid with her Familiar

"Why you disrespectful-" Mr. Colbert stops Louise from her outburst.

"I'll explain some confusion for him Louise." Mr. Colbert looks dead straight into Five's golden visor.

"You were summoned here by the sacred summoning ritual. Ms. Valliére was the one who summoned you here." Mr. Colbert said in hope of clearing up Five of any confusion.

"I understand, forgive me of my rudeness Mr. Colbert Sir!" Five saluted. Louise was tapping her foot in annoyance because of her Familiar.

"I was joking about the Harry Potter stuff but I wasn't expecting to be right on the money." Church chuckled.

"But may I ask why I was summoned here?" Five asked.

"You have been summoned here by Miss Valliére to be her Familiar." Five didn't like hearing that.

"I'm sorry sir but I have to refuse on being someone's Familiar and I don't want to have this girl here being my "Master."" Louise and Colbert had a face of shock, the other students went silent.

"Well...that's a first…" Colbert sweated at not expecting a refusal.

"If I may ask sir, what will you do to make me change my mind, Force me to accept?" Five asked.

"If it comes to that, then yes… I will…" Colbert brings out his hand and creates fire around his hand. Five grabs his M6G and prepares to pull it out if this becomes an all out fight.

'Did he just challenge Colbert!?' Louise thought and the other students were shocked too at this challenge. Five was ready to turn this into a firefight but thought to himself that this would be unnecessary. Five can get away with killing any witnesses and go into hiding and live off of the resources on this world if he ever runs out of any energy, ammo, and MRE's he has on. He could easily dispose of anyone who found him out and hunted him down for a bounty. But his concern was if there were any Haydonites on this World or Universe. The Haydonites that he knows have been known to perfectly disguise themselves as any species, especially humans.

Haydonites were well prepared with concealed weapons inside their robotic bodies, and they attack when their enemies are by themselves, crush them with their better technology and numbers, or take down their enemies when they have no resources that would help them resist. Back in 4823, Haydonites were able to catch and over run an entire Spartan squad and killed them off (A/N: Spartans can be surprised like with Noble 2 a.k.a. Kat and be overwhelmed with enough force. Just like what happened with Noble six and Samuel 034). Five decided that his best course of action is to play along and get Intel from the residents of this world without any conflict. Five removes his hand off of his M6G and stands up straight.

"Sorry for my behavior sir!" Colbert sighed in relief and pressed his nose.

"It is alright… Is it alright that you'll seal the contract with Louise?" Colbert asked him.

"No, I'm honestly not okay with becoming this girls Familiar, but seeing I have no idea where I need to go and that I have no idea if the enemy is here or not… I'll accept." Five turned to Louise, she got a little chill down her spine when he turned to look at her.

"Now listen here… Once we seal this "contract"... I expect us to be treated as equals, I don't want to be treated unfairly and have to do chores that you can easily do yourself…" Louise scoffed.

"Fine…" Five could tell that there was no honesty in her voice, but he'll deal with it later.

"*sighs* Please take off your helmet." Louise tried her best to control her frustration. Five acknowledge by proceeding to grab his helmet. The sound of gas depressurize comes from his helmet when he disengaged the locks in it. Five slowly removes his helmet and places it under his right arm.

Everyone was taken back at the sight they were seeing. They saw a man between 17-18 years of age, short black hair, along with two noticeable scars on his face. Louise was more interested with the little emotion that was in his eyes. Louise pushed that thought aside and get the task at hand accomplished.

"Wow! Seems like Louise summoned a peasant!" A student commented, gaining lots of laughs from the other students. Louise was at her limit, but ignored all the laughter as best as she could.

"Please kneel down…" Five kneels down and is confused.

"Now what…?" Five asked, Louise sighs and looks at him.

"Consider yourself lucky, peasant. I'm really going to regret this…"

"Wait what-"

Five was cut off with Louise kissing him. He was very confused and shocked. Being a Spartan would allow quick reaction time, but this kiss caught him off guard. Church was laughing when this happened, Louise would pull away.

"The contract has been sealed…" Louise lightly blushed, she didn't like that she had to kiss a peasant boy.

"What in the-" Five suddenly feels a burning pain in his left hand. It was almost like getting hit by a Phaser at full power, but he was able to keep his composure and not show any sign of pain. Five would remove his left gauntlet and saw a glowing rune on his hand before it died down.

"What's this?" Five was curious about the rune on his left hand.

"Let me see that rune please." Mr. Colbert walked over with a sketchbook and sketched out the rune on Five's left hand.

"Alright class has ended today, you may return to your dorm rooms." Mr. Colbert said. Five walk towards Mr. Colbert.

"Before I leave with my supposed "Master", how are you gonna take care of the saucer section of my ship sir?" Mr Colbert turns to Five.

"The wind mages are capable of lifting heavy objects, now go ahead and go with your Master. I would like to talk to you later when I have the time." Mr. Colbert said, looking at what was left of The Dawn of Ice. Five salutes and leaves towards where Louise walked off to. Five turns his head back to the Saucer Section of The Dawn of Ice, he had a bitter look on his face, but thanks to the helmet no one can't see it. Five clenched his fist and cursed to himself that he should've done better, he sighed and walks inside the Academy.

-Tristain Academy / 6:30 p.m-

"Wash my clothes!"

"No."

"WASH MY CLOTHES!" Five was currently getting yelled at by his Master, while holding a basket filled with dirty clothes.

"First we are in a no win situation. Next we find ourselves in a world with people looking like that want to be on a set of Harry Potter. Now I find you being told to wash a kid's dirty clothes, man I can't tell if your luck is starting to wear off." Church sighed in annoyance of hearing Louise's complaining.

"Listen Louise, I'm a soldier with the purpose of protecting people from enemy forces. I'm no Landry man ok…" Five said. Louise didn't like this answer and complained more.

"AS YOUR MASTER I DEMAND YOU TO WASH MY CLOTHES! YOU ARE A COMMONER AND MY FAMILIAR! SO YOU WILL DO AS I SAY!" Five sighed.

"No I won't...you are no higher than me. Besides, I'm not in the mood to hear your damn complaining…" Five was irritated with this.

"AS YOUR MASTER I-" Five pulled out his M6G and pointed it at Louise.

"Did you forget what I said… I said I wanted us to be equals… Now you're gonna be a good girl and actually do your own laundry yourself…" Louise was about to complain, but immediately shut up when Five cocked his M6G.

"F-Fine! I don't need help from you anyways!" Louise grabs the basket and slams the door closed.

"Man that girl is quite a headache ain't she?" Church said with an exhausted tone.

"Yep… *sighs* today has gone quite pleasant…" Five walks over to the window and looks at the night sky. He slightly smiled at the sight of two blue and red moons. He was still thinking about the many deaths on The Dawn of Ice. Five may not express emotions much, but he wasn't soulless to the point where he couldn't feel guilt. He took off his helmet and pressed his nose in regret. Church appears next to him.

"I think you should get some air. Besides, we can map out the layout of this Academy too." Church suggested.

"Yeah, I think that's a good idea…" Five walks out and closes the door behind him. Five walks down the hallway while mapping it out, the architecture of this place wasn't that bad. That's what Five was thinking to himself. Five soon turned to a flight of stairs and walked down them. When Five finished walking down the stairs, he immediately sees a blonde haired boy flirting with a brown haired girl.

"Oh boy, let's hope they don't notice a giant 7ft man passing by." Church pops back into Five's helmet. Five didn't say anything as he kept walking towards the two.

"Oh Lord Guiche!" The brown haired girl looked at Guiche with pure awe.

"I love you my dear Katie. There's definitely nothing hidden behind my feelings for you." As Guchie said that, he noticed Five walking pass them, without giving any form of greeting and respect. Guiche catches Five's attention by clearing his throat and Five turns around to face him.

"Aren't you that Peasant that the Zero summoned?" Guiche asked.

"I'm a soldier, but yes I am the one that Louise has summoned." Five answered.

"You know that's not how you respect those of nobility." Guiche had an unpleasant look on his face. Five would turn around, but his usual neutral demeanor was replaced with a dark one.

"I only give respect to those that really are my superiors, not you…" Five then walked off downstairs, leaving Guiche with an angry expression until Katie calmed him down. Five walked out into the fields and looked around the Academy, mapping out everything as he wandered.

As Five was finishing up his last round of mapping the Academy, a girl would accidentally bump into him. Five turns around to see a girl with blue eyes, black hair, was slightly taller then Louise, she looked to be 17 years of age, and was currently wearing a maid outfit.

"Oh! I'm so sorry my excellency!" The girl got up and proceeded to bow in front of Five. Five turned to face her and said.

"I'm not of Noble blood ma'am…" The girl looks up after he said that and would give an apologetic expression.

"Oh I'm sorry sir, wait… aren't you the Familiar that Ms. Valliére summoned?" The girl asked.

"Yes, I am the Familiar that Louise summoned… regretfully… " Five whispered the last part to himself. Five looks at a basket that was recently dropped, with clothes all over the ground. The Girl must've been carrying this basket before she bumped into him.

"Let me help…" He said. She was about to tell him that it was fine, but he already proceeded to put the clothes back into the basket.

"May I know your name ma'am?" She walked over and asked for the basket, Five handed the basket over.

"My name is Siesta." She gave Five a kind smile, Five smirked a little under his helmet and Church laughed a little. They went over to the fountain and cleaned the clothes she had. They talked about their jobs and how they got them, their families, and where they came from, while cleaning the clothes.

"Really!? There's no magic where you come from?" Siesta was shocked to hear that Five comes from a place with no magic.

"Indeed, but I have seen magic on different worlds before, and fought against those who held that magic. It was quite… tiring for me and the teams I was on." Five puts another clean set of clothing in the basket.

"I can't believe you come from a world with no magic, only has one moon, and has no nobles or peasants." Siesta puts in another set of clothing in the basket, trying to absorb the information that Five just told her.

"Yes, but it's not as peaceful as of right now…" Five finishes up cleaning the last of the clothes Siesta had and gets up. Siesta was curious about what he meant when he said it was not "peaceful". Siesta would also finish and grabbed her basket and stand up next to him.

"What do you mean by "not as peaceful"?" Five looked at her when she asked that question.

"Sorry, but I can't tell you, maybe at another time, okay Siesta." Siesta pouted a little, but smiled and said "sure" and went back inside. Five walks back inside too and walks up the flight of stairs, church pops out again and sits on Five's shoulder.

"I never thought you would talk so casually before, and especially to someone who looks to be around your age too." Church teasingly laughed, and only received a shrug from Five.

"She's the only person who has spoken nicely to me today, besides Mr. Colbert. It's also best for me to speak casually too, so I don't weird out anyone here at this Academy." Five reaches the last step and walks down the hall to Louise's dorm room door. Five stands there in silence before he speaks to Church.

"Also, if I hear any teasing about me and Siesta out of your digital helmet, I will reconfigure you and your A.I. chip." Church then floats in front of Fives visor.

"I can't promise anything Five, but I'll try too." Church laughed and vanished back inside Five's helmet. Five opens the door and finds Louise sleeping in her bed, with the basket of clothes she had to clean next to her drawer. Five walks passed her and looks for a place to sleep. He keeps searching until he finds a pile of hay next to the wall, he would've complained but he has slept in worse conditions before.

"You gotta be kidding me… she gets a bed and we get a pile of hay… wow…" Church complained, as Five walked over to it and sat down.

"But it'll do, it beats sleeping on rocks or that one planet with living rocks." Five takes out the M837-Avenger and cleans it. He would keep on cleaning and maintaining his weapons, as he finished he asked Church to do something for him before he sleeps.

"Church, send out a distress call…" Five said as he puts his back against the wall and rests his right arm on his right leg.

"Got it Five…" Church would get to work on sending out the distress call. Five says "Thanks Church" and falls asleep.

-The Next Morning / 7:00 a.m-

Louise was peacefully sleeping in her bed, it looked like she was having such a pleasant dream. But this moment ended as Five got up and tried to wake up Louise. Louise moved around and kept sleeping, Five shoke Louise even more to get her to wake up.

"Louise, get up…" Louise opens her eyes slowly and is shocked and falls off her bed. Five walks around the bed and stands in front of her.

"W-who are you! Wait...oh yeah, you're my familiar…" Louise sighed and slowly calmed down. She slowly gets up and sees Five walk towards her.

"So how was cleaning laundry last night?" Five crossed his arms, Louise would put her clothes on her bed and face Five.

"Went well… No thanks to you…" Louise scoffed and Five just shrugged and looked out the window. Louise walks over to her drawer, gets her uniform and sets it on the bed.

"I want you to dress me." Five limps his head to the right and Church face plants his helmet into his hand and sighed very angrily.

"No…" Louise grew an unpleasant look on her face.

"Why! As your Master I demand you to dress on me!" Louise stomped on the hardwood floor, it almost felt like it was gonna give out.

"Why, because you are capable of dressing yourself Louise…" Five approached the door and put his hand on the doorknob.

"HOW DARE YOU IGNORE MY DEMAND!? Those of Nobility don't dress themselves! So behave as "MY" Familiar and dress me!" Five looks back at Louise.

"I don't have the patience to deal with your outrage today and why can't you get what I said about being equal through that damn, stupid, head of yours..." Five's tone was cold and dark, giving Louise a hard time to argue back.

"I-If you don't, y-you won't be eating anything for breakfast!" Louise stuttered.

"Like I care…" Five opens the door and steps out to wait for her to get changed.

-Dining Room / 7:15 a.m-

"Please pull back the chair!" Louise said, Five looked at her, Louise sighed and pulled the chair herself. Louise sits down on the chair and eats the food on her plate that would be mistaken for a feast.

"So where do I sit?" Louise would point to the floor with a broken plate and with rough bread.

"You should be glad I'm allowing you to eat!" Louise turned her head to the left, not facing him. Five sighs and sits on the ground, he grabs his helmet and removes it and starts to eat the bread. He got strange looks from the students when he removed his helmet, they were probably thinking about him being a peasant. But if you were in the Federation, you would be terrified to see a Spartan eating with you in the dining room and fully loaded with guns.

'I do have rations in my armor's pouches, but I want to save them for a later time, so this bread will do for now.' Five thought to himself as he kept eating the bread.

-17 Minutes Later-

Louise and Five walk out to the field to see many students and what seems to be bonding with their familiars.

"Let me guess, this is a day where the students are bonding with their Familiars, huh?" Church guess came out as correct when Five asked Louise what was happening. All 2nd year students were off today so they can bond with their familiars, but it would be much harder for Louise and Five.

"Why hello there Louise." Five and Louise turn around to see Kirche petting her Salamander familiar.

"Is that a Salamander?" Five asked and slowly put his right hand on his M6G Magnum just in case. Kirche smiles as she keeps petting her Salamander.

"Yes it is, there's also no need for you to be cautious. Under the Familiar contract, the Familiar will not do any harm to anyone. It only does when it's command or their Master is attacked." Five took this information in mine for later uses, just in case. Five removes his hand off of the Magnum and crosses his arms.

"And unlike your Familiar, at least my dear Flame obeys me more than yours. I honestly think you just found some random peasant, hehe." Kirche mocked Louise. This set off Louise and engaged in an argument with Kirche, Five had no choice but to sit around and wait. After they finished arguing, Kirche left laughing and left behind Louise with an angry expression and demanded Five to fetch her some tea. Five ignored her order and just walked around

As Five walked around the field, Siesta accidentally bumps into Five again and drops a plate of pie. Five turns around and bends down to grab the pie and put it back on the plate.

"I'm sorry for that, but it's nice to see you again Mr. five!" Siesta smiled at him.

"Likewise Siesta, it seems you got your hands full with running around and serving all these students here. You don't mind if I help you out?" Siesta thinks to herself before nodding.

"You can help me by passing along the other slices of pie!" Siesta points to a kart that had slices of pie on separate plates. Five nods and grabs the plates to give them to the other students. He kept giving the students he met the slices of pie until he would reach Guiche with a blonde haired girl.

"Oh, so he's that type of guy huh…?" Church was unpleased with finding out what type of person Guiche is. Five approaches Guiche and sets the plate of pie in front of him.

"Why thank you, now please get us some more tea." Guiche then starts to converse again with the blonde girl who was petting her frog familiar. The conversation slowly begins to take a bad turn when the girl starts talking about Guiche hanging out with Katie last night.

"What do you mean Montmorency, there's-" Five cuts in and decides to finish Guiche's sentence for him.

""Definitely nothing hidden behind my feelings for you." Yeah yeah, we all heard this before you know…" Guiche would turn to his right to see the Familiar he saw last night looking at him and shaking his head.

"So you were hitting on a 1st year student and hitting on a girl in your same year too? Man how disappointing you are…" Guiche starts to panic and Montmorency begins to ask questions. Five walks away what would soon be a blazing fire, but it was about to get even worse when he saw more fuel to be added to the fire. Five saw Katie walking around, probably looking for Guiche.

Five approaches Katie. When Katie saw Five walking towards her, she felt kinda intimidated. Five couldn't blame her, it's a scary experience to have someone 7ft taller than you walking towards you.

"Oh um...hello...do you know where Lord Guiche is…?" Katie asked slowly. Five nods and points his thumb behind him. Guiche would be walking with Montmorency, trying to avoid Katie so things don't get complicated. Katie gave her thanks and ran over to Guiche and Montmorency. Five walked up to a wall that was closest and leaned against it.

"Sooooooooooooooooo? We're gonna watch what's gonna happen?" Church asked Five.

"Yep." Five replied. Guiche would immediately let go of Montmorency when Katie came over. Montmorency would stare at Guiche as he conversed with Katie. Montmorency starts to get questionable and Guiche panics even more, soon a crowd would slowly form due to the commotion.

"What do you think is happening right now?" One of the students in the crowd asked. The crowd would converse amongst themselves, until Five would decide to give them an answer.

"It's probably because he's been two timing on them!" As Five said that, Montmorency and Katie would go into a fit of rage and beam at Guiche with betrayed and hateful eyes. Guiche would try to calm them down as best as he could, but would end up getting slapped by both of them. The crowd would laugh and make fun of Guiche, Church was laughing as well and Five chuckled a little.

"It seems you lack the proper respect for the nobility you peasant…" Guiche looks at Five, with hateful eyes. Five looked back at Guiche with a cold like aura, causing chills for the students, except for Guiche because of how arrogant he was being right now.

"Well it isn't my problem that nobility doesn't exist in my world…" Five shots back, Guiche would have a cocky smile growing on his face.

"I challenge you to a duel!" The crowd would gasp at this declaration, but this would cause Church to burst out in laughter for what Guiche didn't know what he was getting into.

"You? Challenge me to a duel?" Five asked Guiche, he was insane if he thought he could beat him, a Spartan no doubt. Guiche points his rose like wand at Five.

"Yes, unless you are scared… you lowly peasant! You'll pay for making two innocent girls cry!" Guiche cocky attitude grew and Five could only sigh in pity.

"Says the guy who had two timed… But… I accept your challenge to a duel… but don't blame me if I end up breaking something in your body…." Guiche only laughed in response.

"You may try you peasant! Meet me at Vestri Square! We shall settle our duel there!" Guiche then marches off. The crowd would break off and head to Vestri Square, but a certain pink hair student would march towards him with her usual look.

"What do you think you're doing!?" Louise yelled at Five. Five walks in the direction of where the students went, with Louise walking behind.

"Teaching that kid to not underestimate anyone and make sure he knows his place…" Five grabbed his M6G Magnum Pistol and cocked it. Louise runs in front of him and blocks him.

"Move it Louise…" Five said coldly. Louise glared at him, not backing down.

"No! If we're lucky, Guiche can call this duel off if you apologize!" Before Five could reply back, Church pops up and floats in front of Louise, shocking her greatly.

"NO WE'RE GONNA HANDLE THIS OUR OWN WAY! So if you don't mind...MOVE OUT OF THE DAMN WAY!" All three of them would stand there in silence. Louise would slowly break the silence with stutters, but managed to get words in, it would be offensive to Church.

"A-Are you a Fairy?" Church turned slightly red and orange when he heard that.

"A FAIRY!? MA'AM I AM A MOTHERFUCKING GHOST FOR YOUR INFORMATION! NOW IF YOU EXCUSE US! WE'LL BE GETTING THAT DUEL STARTED WITH!" Church goes back inside of Five's helmet. Louise was about to complain again, but Five passed her and turned his head to look at her.

"Church is right Louise, if you try to stop me… I "WILL" force you out of my way…" Five kept walking off to the Center Square with Louise still trying to convince him to apologize.

-Vestri Square-

"I can't believe that Louise's familiar had already gotten in trouble with a noble, especially Guiche." Kirche said to her friend Tabitha, they stood behind in the back of the crowd that came to see the duel between Guiche and Five. Siesta was in the middle of the crowd, standing in anticipation and hoped that Five isn't harmed in any way.

"I am surprised you actually showed up, normally peasants would be afraid to face a Noble as myself." Guiche says arrogantly.

"Nobody wouldn't even feel a tint of fear for a two timer like you…" Five was prepared for anything, until Louise came in.

"Guiche! Please don't do this, it's against Academy rules to have a duel!" Louise tried to persuade Guiche.

"That's true, but that only goes for Nobles, not a peasant." Guiche countered.

"But this must be a rule that a Noble shouldn't attack a peasant!" Louise was desperately trying to stop this.

"So are you saying that you care for your familiar?" Louise got angry at this.

"I am his Master! I only care for him as my familiar!" Louise growled.

"Well it's too late, this duel has already begun!" Guiche swipes his rose wand and a petal would fall to the ground. The petal would glow and a female looking warrior would come out from the ground with a spear in hand.

-Cue: Star Wars The Phantom Menace Remastered: Qui Gon's Noble End-

"I am known as Guiche the Bronze, and your opponent will be none other than my Bronze Valkyries." Five would've been impressed, but what he has seen, it wouldn't even hold a candle.

"Wow...I'm sooooooooo scared..." Five mocked Guiche, Guiche was infuriated and pointed his wand at Five.

"Go! Show him his place, my beautiful Valkyrie!" The bronze Valkyrie rushed at Five and pulled back it's left arm for a punch to the gut, but Five stood in place and welcomed the incoming punch. Louise and Siesta would close their eyes, expecting a painful cry to come from Five. They only thing they heard was the crunching of metal being compressed, as Siesta and Louise open their eyes, they see Five surrounded by some type of Golden light.

"Really….that's all you got…? Five looks at the shield gauge of his armor and sees that the Valkyrie's punch didn't make a dent in the shields. Five grabs the spear and punches the Valkyrie, ripping the spear and its right arm from its body. The Valkyrie would slam into the ground and shatter. All the students, Louise, Kirche, and Siesta all jaw dropped at Five's strength. Tabitha looks up from her book, taking interest in Five's Strength.

"T-This is impossible!" Guiche waves his wand and drops more petals, creating more Valkyries with Swords and Lance's in hand. Five removes the arm of the last Valkyrie off the spear and points said spear at the Valkyries.

"So... Who's first?" One of the sword golems rushes at Five and slashes at him. Five ducks under the slash and grips the spear with both hands and thrusts the spear into the Valkyrie's chest and out it's back. Five removes the spear and the Valkyrie would crumble to pieces, three of the Lance Valkyries surround him and thrust the lance forward. Five jumps over the lances and throws the spear he was holding at the of the Valkyries, destroying it and the spear. The other two run at Five and lounge their Lances at Five, but Five would grab the lances. One Sword Valkyrie jumps behind him and brings its sword down for a slash to his back. Five noticed through his motion tracker and kicked the sword out of its hand, still keeping a hold on the Lances. Five then pulls the Lances from the Valkyries and toss them aside. Five grabs the face of both Valkyries and bash them into the ground, shattering them. As he did that, the sky became darker as clouds moved to block off the Sun's light.

-Cue: Star Wars Phantom Menace Remastered: Duel of the Fates

"Let's end this…" Five moves his right hand and grabs and removes his lightsaber from his right thigh armor. The students question why Five was holding in their eyes a "sword hilt". Before any of the students could ask any question, Five activated his lightsaber. The plasma blade was a radiant blue color and created a humming noise. The rune under his left gauntlet glowed in response to the activation of the lightsaber, but Five wouldn't know that the rune was glowing. Louise, Siesta, Kirche, and the other students were in awe of the glowing weapon and felt very intimidated, some even were shaking in fear. Tabitha moved her right eyebrow up in interest, but Guiche was shaking in fear of seeing the blade, more so than the other students. Guiche desperately made more Valkyries, in hope that one of them would defeat the armored familiar.

Armed with Swords and Lances, the Valkyries charged at Five. One of the Sword Valkyries swings its sword to Five's side. Five reacted and sliced the Valkyries sword in half with his lightsaber and sliced the Valkyrie clean in half, leaving the smell of burning bronze. Guiche was shaking in pure fear and slowly backed up, he commanded all the Valkyries he had to attack Five. Five rushed forward and cut down each Valkyrie with ease. There were only two sword Valkyries and one Lance Valkyrie left. The two Sword Valkyries jumped in the air and were ready to strike. The Lance Valkyrie would be running at Five and was aiming for his chest. As the three Valkyries were closing in, Five points his left palm at the Lance Valkyrie, his left gauntlet would slightly open and show a glowing orange energy inside of the gauntlet. Sparks of lightning builds around his palm and suddenly creates a ball of orange electric energy. The Lance Valkyrie would glow the same color and halt in place.

Five moves his hand up to the Two Sword Valkyries, the Lance Valkyrie would move towards the two Sword Valkyries, knocking the two towards the ground. Five then sends the Lance Valkyrie flying at the two Valkyries, putting all three into a pile. Five left gauntlet closes back to its original shape and ran towards the pile. The rune glows much brighter, Five wouldn't notice, but he would feel a tingling feeling in his left hand. Five swings his lightsaber into a back hand position and jumps. Five moves the lightsaber down, lands on his knees and punctures all three Valkyries. Five removes his lightsaber as the Valkyries shatter into dust. Five gets up and looks at Guiche, Guiche would slowly back up more. Five walks slowly towards Guiche, having his lightsaber near the ground and making its humming noise, adding more to the already intimidating Spartan. Guiche would fall over, landing on his bottom and would keep backing up on the ground. Guiche eventually backed up into the wall and had no way of escaping the Spartan. Five then points his lightsaber at Guiche's neck, the sweat from Guiche would drop onto the plasma like blade and turn to steam.

"What do you have to say for yourself…" Five moves the blade of the lightsaber closer to Guiche's neck. Guiche was in so much fear that he almost pissed his own pants. Having enough of being threatened by Five and had the feeling of getting his life taken and said.

"I-I...Forfeit…" The crowd of students cheers for Five for his victory. Louise would sigh, Kirche would smile seductively, Tabitha looked back into her book, and Siesta would smile in relief.

"T-This should be impossible… No peasant should be able to beat a noble like myself…" Guiche asked Five and himself. Five turns off his lightsaber and puts it back on his right thigh armor. Five would bring his hand down to help Guiche get up. Guiche hesitated, but eventually grabbed his hand and pulled back on his feet.

"The reason why I won is that I had more experience and the training to keep up with my enemies fighting style and strategy…" Guiche scoffed, but gave a respectful smile. Five leaves back into the building with Louise behind him and to his surprise, she was silent.
