Chapter 1 Step #1 Find Out Anti-Xana's Plans
A.N. – Welcome to Code Lyoko: Ending the Threats. Even though the word end is in the title, this is not the final story in this series of stories. After the finale of this story, and the beginning of the next story I will explain how the story continues. Anyways, I liked the response that my last story got and I hope this story gets the same. This story will involve the events that lead up to the final battles against Anti-Xana and Xana. No war or world domination, but that will come in a future story. Also, some sex scenes, at least four with all the couples established last story, and it will be around their birthdays. So if you got info, let me know or I will just put it in at some point in the story. Anyways, let's get started.
Short Summary – Months have passed since the failure in Switzerland and the group has gone through major changes. They are still in contact and Yumi and William and still come for missions. But when the threat of Anti-Xana taking over the World Wide Web becomes more concerning, Jeremy thinks of a plan to eliminate him for good.

January at Kadic
Seven months have passed since Anti-Xana escaped into the internet. The group has all finished their first half of the year with no activity from Anti-Xana. Yumi, William, and Odd's girlfriend Melissa have all gone to the same college and are awaiting the start of the second semester. The group has investigated ways to track Anti-Xana, but all were unsuccessful. Jeremy spent the whole holiday break at the lab working on how to track Anti-Xana through the web. Aelita was starting to become concerned for him.
Over the summer break, all couples went on a lot more dates. Yumi and Ulrich went on five more dates whether it was a dinner, a walk, or just hanging out, it was considered a date. Jeremy and Aelita went out at least once a month to focus on their relationship and not Anti-Xana or Lyoko. Odd and Melissa went on a date once every two weeks during the summer. Odd tried to be with Melissa as much as possible before she started college. William and Laura went out very rarely as Laura started to find colleges to apply to.
There were very rarely any missions on Lyoko, unless it was data collecting which came with Anti-Xana trying to stop them and Xana backing them up. They have not entered the digital sea since their last expedition to where the cortex once was. But as the threat of Anti-Xana grows, so does the group all diminishing soon. Jeremy knew that this time, there was no room for failure.
Jeremy was with Aelita walking around while also thinking of Anti-Xana.
"It's so cold here. I guess that's why it's called winter" Aelita said.
"Yeah, it would be nice to be in Southern Hemisphere, where its summer" Jeremy said.
"Maybe one day we could see what that is like."
"Yeah, one day maybe."
"Any progress with the tracking?"
"No, and I really need to know what his plans are."
"What about the Anti-Viruses that Tyron gave you?"
"Useless unless I can get one to launch directly into Anti-Xana, so that makes it extra important to find him."
"You got any ideas?"
"No, not yet. But let's just focus on this moment right now."
At the college
Ulrich, Odd, and Laura all went to the college to visit Yumi, William, and Melissa, almost not seeing them since the end of the summer.
"Jeremy and Aelita are the only lucky ones. They both go to Kadic, and most likely will go to the same college" Odd said.
"Face it Odd. Those two were meant for each other" Ulrich said.
Odd immediately went into thought about the kiss him and Aelita shared in the elevator while trying to get rid of Nicolas and Herb. He though he felt something, but over time Jeremy started to care for Aelita more and actually became more boyfriend material. Odd was just a player, and was now in a relationship.
"It kind of does suck that we have to go all the way to college to see them. You'd think they can come visit us sometime" Laura said.
"College is very time consuming. Yumi told me she has almost no free time" Ulrich said.
"Yeah, it's been difficult for me to spend any time with Melissa too. I try to talk to her every night, but she has almost no time, except on weekends" Odd said.
"Yeah every Friday and Saturday night you keep me up till two in the morning with your phone calls."
Odd would make a reference to Lyoko right about now, but couldn't risk Laura asking what he was talking about. Not after last time. So Odd came up with something more convincing.
"Come on Ulrich. You've never missed a friends gathering. And most times we would be up till five in the morning" Odd said.
Ulrich knew exactly what he was talking about. "Yeah, but times are changing. Soon those friends gathering are going to end and we are going our separate ways. At least I hope" Ulrich said concerned with how this will all end.
They continued towards the college halls and all found their partners doors and all went their separate ways.
Ulrich was first to meet up with Yumi.
"Hi Yumi. How are things going?" Ulrich said.
"They're going. First year was very time consuming" Yumi said.
"I'm still surprised that you and William came to as many missions as you did."
"The world matters more then grades, but it will be harder to maintain our schedules then it was at Kadic. It might be the Lyoko three instead of the Lyoko five going in sometimes."
"Me and Odd will take good care of Aelita. Anti-Xana won't touch her."
"That's good to hear."
Odd went to meet Melissa second. He knocked on her door and she let him in.
"Are things going well for you Melissa?" Odd said.
"Mostly. Still trying to get a hold of last semesters events and be ready for the Spring semester" Melissa said.
"That difficult."
"Yes. I will still be available for our one special date soon. I make sure about it."
"Well let's wait and we'll plan it around your schedule."
"You're really willing to wait for that long?"
"I don't want you to fall behind because you want to be with me for one night."
"I see you recovered well from the depression over the failure in Switzerland."
"Still hits hard. Try not to think about it. What's done is done."
"Anti-Xana still a problem?" (Over break Odd told her about what the mission in Switzerland was about.)
"Still is, but Einstein is trying to find away to get rid of him."
Laura finally arrived at William's door on the second level and she knocked and he let her in.
"So nice of you to come her and visit me" William said.
"Odd and Ulrich were coming here so I decided to tag along since we don't see each other as much" Laura said.
"You get along with those two?"
"Yeah, there not to much of a problem. They seem to speak in code sometimes."
William knew she saw something suspicious, but he knew how to combat this. "Those two have know each other for a long time, so I pretty sure they have developed their own code."
"You think their hiding something?"
"Maybe. There are things about them that I don't even know."
William was getting concerned, but he was not going to let his friends down by betraying them again.
After about three hours at the college all of them left and headed back to Kadic. On the way back Jeremy told them to come up to his room as soon as possible. When they arrived they headed up to his room.
"What's up Jeremy?" Ulrich said.
"I think I finally found Anti-Xana! I searched every inch of the network and the superscan has found a small trace of his digital structure" Jeremy said.
"You think he's forming a replica?"
"Possibly, but I want to do a recon mission on the network to try and find this source, see if there's any information there.'
"You got a plan?"
"Yes, I call it my three step plan. Step 1 – Find out Anti-Xana's plans. The recon mission will help us with this. Step 2 – Finding ways to stop him. The recon mission may help me crack the codes locked in this flash drive. I tried to open it and it's encrypted. And finally Step 3 – Rinse and Repeat, Just Like Before. Meaning we do everything we can on the network to slow down Anti-Xana, but still deactivate any towers he activates on Lyoko.'
"So when's our next mission?"
"Tomorrow. Be ready."
A.N. – I know, a long chapter. I'll keep this short. The relationships are the same and mostly everything is the same except the fight. More missions to come, as well as replicas, teleportation's, supercomputer destructions, as well as the arrival of the lost Volcano Replica. This story is just beginning. –lyokowarrior97
