Henlo Everyone! So not only am I a fan of Loud House I am also a hardcore fan of ATLA and TLOK, I've always had ideas for this show and only now I can share them with you, so I hope you enjoy the first chapter of this new story, without further adu! Enjoy!
The Legend Of Korra: The Dark Avatar- Chapter One
It has been nine months since the events of Kuvira, life was once again peaceful. No crazy blood blending activists, no spiritual crazy uncle, no flying bald red lotus leader and definitely no war starting crazed earthbender.
It was just normal life in Republic city and on this day the avatar has returned.
The third spirit portal at the heart of Republic City glowed brightly as two individuals walked out, they were both women who looked like they had just been on the adventure of a lifetime, which was true by the way.
One had long slick black hair, she wore a red and black coat that had minor scratches on a little glow on it, but that could've just been from them exiting the spirit portal she also wore black pants which also had scratches on it.
Standing next to her was a woman with long brown hair and she had a green and blue shirt on with all four elements symbols on it, she had on light green pants with training tape on as her socks that reached her knees.
There's no doubt about it, these two women were Asami and Korra, after Varricks's wedding they decided to take a little vacation to get away from everything, and they may have lost track of time so they probably stayed a little longer then they had planned for.
"I still can't believe you've fully mastered the avatar state Korra, that's like a really big deal! " Asami said with excitement.
Korra only laughed nervously then said, "I can't believe it either really, I always thought that I would never master my spiritual side but I guess after spending a while in the spirit world helps with that. "
Korra had then noticed that Asami had a look of shock on her face which confused Korra at first until she had actually looked around where she was, she was in Republic City but it was.. Different to say the least.
For one all of the spiritual vines that had ravaged the city were no longer there, they must've been cut off and destroyed, new buildings were built in place of the destroyed ones, and to both of their surprise, there was a new president.
"President Rider! " One reporter called out. "Ms. President! Over here! " Another called out.
The president looked to be too overwhelmed until Korra ran to her side and said, "I think you should give the president some time before you start bombarding her with questions! " She said quieting down the reporters for about a second until they started to bombard her with questions,
"Avatar Korra! Where have you been? " One reporter asked. "Where you kidnapped! " Another asked. "Have you heard of the mysterious events happening in the earth kingdom! "
The last question caught Korra's attention until the president grabbed her by the arm and said, "Ok this meeting is over, bye! " She then ran back inside as she pulled Korra with her silencing all the reporters. Asami decided to investigate these mysterious events in the earth kingdom one reporter just so happened to bring up.
Meanwhile inside the president's office
"I can't thank you enough, those reporters never give me a chance to answer at least one of their questions. " She said with a smile on her face as she wiped some sweat off her forehead.
"It's my pleasure, also we haven't really met before, you must be the new president, if you don't mind me asking but what happened to president Raiko? " Korra asked, confused.
"What didn't happen! For one he was exposed for secretly buying himself votes, then he later confessed to actually setting up an attack on some local stores with the triple threats just so he can get the insurance money, he's behind bars now. " She said as Korra's mouth hung wide open until she started laughing and said, "Finally! That jerk got what he deserved. "
"Yeah I never liked him either, anyways I'm president of Republic City now and I'm very happy you're back from your little vacation in the spirit world. " Rider said with a smile forming on her face.
"Uh why's that?" Korra asked, confused only to have her hand be shaken by rider's as she squealed like a little girl, "I am a really big fan! I've wanted to meet you for so long now but I never got the chance, it's one of the main reasons I ran for president, so I could meet you! "
Korra laughed nervously as she pulled her hand away and said, "Some grip you got there, but I'm already a fan of you, mainly because you're nothing at all like raiko and you honestly seem like a better president than raiko. "
Rider was blushing now and said, "Stop! You're making me blush! " Just as she said this Asami walked in with a pretty serious expression on her face which caught Korra's attention quickly, she walked over to her and said, "Asami what's wrong? Did those reporters harass you! "
Korra said as she began to grow angry but Asami said, "No Korra, it's.. We need to find Tenzin. "
Korra had never seen Asami like this in a long time. Last time she saw her like this was when they were investigating her father for being an equalist, which was hard on her enough.
Korra then turned back to president Rider and asked where she could find Tenzin, her answer surprised both Korra and Asami, "Tenzin is retired now, he's living at air temple island now with his family. "
"Thank you so much! Bye for now president Rider! " ,Korra said as she and Asami ran out her office and out the building dodging all the reporter's questions.
"So what happened Asami? You looked worried about something? Are you sure those reporters didn't bother you? Because I will go back their and kick their a- "
"No Korra don't do that! It's just what one of the reporters said about the mysterious events in the earth kingdom, I asked him about it and it sounded a little alarming. " Asami said with worry in her eyes.
"Well what did he say? Is it that bad? " Korra asked as her and Asami slowed down and sat on some steps in front of the courthouse.
"He said some things about people mysteriously disappearing and about a cloaked person seen bending more than one element, I know it sounds crazy. " Asami said hesitantly.
"What?! But that's impossible, only the avatar can bend more than one element, and I'm the avatar! " Korra yelled as she stood up angry and confused, until she heard a voice she really needed to hear right now, "Korra? "
Her and Asami turned around and saw Tenzin standing in the doorway with a surprised look, he hadn't seen Korra in nine months.
"Tenzin? Tenzin! " Korra said as she ran to him and hugged him tightly as he hugged back with a smile and said, "I didn't know you were back, but when I heard yelling I knew it could be you so I had to come and check. "
Korra let go and laughed as well as Asami, "We were actually going to make our way to air temple island right now because Asami has some pretty crazy information going on in the earth kingdom right now. "
"Really? Asa- " Tenzin was cut off when an explosion occurred near them as money spilled out of a bank as the triple threats walked out with bags filled with money, two toed ping, shady shin and viper all jumped into a car and drove off but Korra wasn't having that.
Korra looked to Tenzin and said, "You wanna help me teach these guys a lesson? " Tenzin looked back inside and saw the other council members yelling at each other and looked back to Korra and said, "Sure, why not. "
She smiled and looked back to Asami who nodded and said, "Don't worry, I'll make my way to Air temple island, you go catch the triple threats. "
Korra smiled then closed her eyes as she took a breath in then took a breath out and opened her eyes for them to appear all white as a glowing white aura surrounded her, she then started to float with the air, she then spun around and flew towards the getaway car at impressive speed.
Tenzin was lost for words but he would ask about it later, he then made an air scooter and followed closely behind Korra.
Meanwhile with the Triple Threats
"We're set for life Shady Shin! Look at all this cha-ching! " Two Toed Ping said as he held the money bags in his arms like a baby.
"No more mugging people! " Shady Shin said happily as Viper drove the getaway car with an evil smug grin on his face, until it disappeared completely when he looked in the rearview mirror, he couldn't believe it, it was the avatar, he thought she had disappeared!
"Don't get too comfy boys! We have some unexpected company! Take care of it! " Viper yelled as he increased the speed of the car, only Korra caught up easily.
Shady Shin and Two Toed Ping put down the bags of money and started to shoot water and fire at her, she dodged with ease as Tenzin almost got hit.
"Korra! Look ahead! " Tenzin yelled as Korra saw the tunnel up ahead, it would cut them off from the Triple Threats and they would get away, she wasn't about to let that happen!
She then aimed herself at the ground and earth bended the road ahead of them as an earth ramp formed from the ground.
Viper yelled loudly as he tried to stop the car but due to his speed they only went up the ramp and as they were about to crash, the car was caught in midair by Tenzin as he placed them gently on the ground, Viper then jumped out and water bended a water spear at Tenzin when it turned back to water right before it hit him, he looked to his right and saw Korra had saved him, she then ran to Viper and trapped him in an earth cage and air bended Two Toed Ping and Shady Shin out of the car and trapped them in earth cages as well, she then looked back to Tenzin and breathed out as she got out the avatar state and smiled at Tenzin.
"You've finally mastered your spiritual side, haven't you? I'm so proud of you Korra. " He said calmly but happily as Korra hugged him with a tear coming out of her eye, "I missed you Tenzin. "
"I missed you too Korra. " He said as he hugged her back.
"Aww " Two Toed Ping and Shady Shin said as they looked onto the scene. "Shut up! Both of you! Just shut up! " Viper yelled angrily.
Meanwhile at Air Temple Island
When Tenzin and Korra arrive at air temple island, they see Asami speaking with Jinora and Ikki and Mako and Bolin speaking with Melo, Korra jumps off Oogi and runs over to them and hugs Mako and Bolin tightly, when they realize who's hugging them they hug back as Bolin says, "Korra! It's been so long! "
Mako smiles and says, "Good to see you again. " Korra is surprised by his choice of words and Bolin says, "He's trying to act formal when she's our friend so act normal bro! "
"Alright, alright, it is good to see you again Korra, it's been a long time. " Mako says with a smile.
"Yeah, nine months does seem like a long time, but I did learn to master my avatar state. " Korra said surprising Mako and Bolin as Bolin gasps over exaggeratedly, "So you're like a fully powered up avatar now, nice! "
"I'm afraid as much as we want this to be a friendly meet up, it isn't. " Tenzin said with a serious expression and Korra said, "Yeah, Tenzin's right, I should tell you two the news I heard. "
Mako and Bolin nod but are a little worried about what they're referring too, they all walk inside to talk about the elephant in the room.
"So basically I did some investigating when some reporters were talking about some mysterious activity in the earth kingdom, they said there are people disappearing and a cloaked person bending more than one element. " Asami said.
Mako and Bolin were surprised till Bolin said, "Wait so like this cloaked person was bending like earth and metal? "
"No he said people saw the cloaked person bending more of earth and fire. " Asami said as Mako said, "But that's impossible, only Korra can do that, are we sure this isn't some dark spirit attacking people? "
"No-one said they saw any dark spirits. " Asami said, shaking her head. "Well we need to investigate this. " Korra said with her arms crossed.
"Korra is right, if this indeed does turn out to be another dangerous enemy, we must find them and put them in jail immediately. " Tenzin said seriously.
"Now hold on, instead of just sending them to jail making them my enemy for like, ever! I think I should try and convince them to be our friend, like an ally. " Korra said with a smile.
"If you think that is the right way Korra, I will support you all the way through. " Tenzin said nodding to Korra as she smiled at her former teacher.
"Yeah! Team avatar is back together and we got your back Korra! " Bolin said, bringing them all into a group hug.
Korra smiled at all her friends as she looked into the sky.
Meanwhile In The Earth Kingdom
A man with a mask that had dark red eyes walked into an underground location where a mysterious cloaked person sat on a tree stump that had roots coming out and growing up to the ceiling. This cloaked figure had metal chains on their wrists and ankles.
"My leader, we have just received intel that the avatar has returned from the spirit world. " He said as he bowed before the figure.
The cloaked person smiled and said, "Good, they'll make their way here as planned and when they do, don't hesitate to hold back. " The cloaked person said.
"Yes my leader. " He said as he then earth bended out the underground room.
"Soon avatar, we'll have our battle. " The cloaked person said as he laughed evilly.
