A.N I don't own Star Wars

A.N2 AU/OOC

A.N3 This will have Jedi and Padme bashing. Anakin doesn't turn dark but he is pissed when Mace decides to make up a vision of Anakin turning dark. The end result is Padme divorcing Anakin and Anakin being expelled from the Order. The twins will have a different mother but they will not be born until a few years after the Republic falls.

Mace's moment of malice destroyed everything and Anakin was expelled from the Jedi. Anakin faced a double kriff you when Padme divorces him. Fortunately for Anakin, the Navy still wants him and he got to keep his rank of commander. This infuriated the Council but Anakin did not care.

One thing Anakin knew is there was something off with the chancellor and when Order 66 was executed, Anakin found himself in the Rebellion. He was given an automatic seat on High Command. They all knew if Anakin had not been aiding the Navy, the government would have fallen sooner.

Padme was reaping what she had sewn. She was up for reelection and she lost. It was a landslide loss to Jamilla. It was what she had done to the hero with no fear that soured the people's opinion of her. Padme knew she should have talked to Anakin but what Mace had said was so compelling that she thought she was making the right decision.

When she had gone to Mon Mothma, one of her friends in the senate, she was turned away. "We can take out the Empire without you Padme. Considering how you didn't even try to speak to Anakin before divorcing him really shows your loyalty."

Anakin was overseeing the construction x-wings for the Rebellion and his weapon systems creation was being added. It had been the first time in several months that Padme had seen Anakin and he completely ignored her, preferring to speak with the other pilots.

She had known Anakin had also sat on the board of D.G.S. It is the destruction of galactic slavery. They don't operate within the Republic and have done much more to combat the problem. D.G.S was also aiding the Rebellion.

The surviving members of the Jedi tried to get into the Rebellion but it was Bail Organa who turned them away. "Absolutely not, because I know you will demand to have Captain Skywalker kicked out. That's not going to happen."

Mace, who survived, was livid. "The Jedi deserve a stake in this since we were nearly wiped out…"

"No, all members of the Rebellion earn their place. I believe it was Knight Worly that destroyed the Order? You did single her out for ridicule since she struggled in academics if I am not mistaken…"

Mace knew the Order made their beds and now they will have to lie in it. Anakin had been such a thorn in his side that he would have done anything to get rid of him. He got his revenge and the Order and the Republic paid the price for it.

High Command had a complete picture of what the Jedi are really like and their hallos were highly tarnished. Anakin had made a new lightsaber with an artificial kyber he created, this one is orange and harder to destroy.

Anakin knew if he had dealt with Padme or the surviving members of the Jedi, he would have said or done something he would have regretted. He knew what would push their buttons the most is tell them no, that they can't be in control.

He had begun dating again. This time he didn't have to hide anything. Her name is Eva Trevers. She is a master mechanic and she is an a-wing pilot. Eva is the complete opposite of Padme which was refreshing.

"Anakin, if you think I would have a problem with you being force-sensitive, I don't. My parents were expelled from the Order. Have you heard of Arrun Trevers and Dina Orogart?"

"I did, apparently it is your father's flying record I beat."

"Unfortunately, the two of them getting involved in the Rebellion is not going to happen. My father had found work as a police officer, a knee injury destroyed his career so he teaches at the local secondary school. My parents have custody of my niece. Talia was orphaned by the separatists and she is only two."

"Stang"

"I know but here is where it gets interesting. My father was one of the final knights considered for the Council the same time Windu was but they were favoring him because he had a higher success rate on missions. Mace was looking for any dirt on my father to have him eliminated and kicked out of the Order. That's when he found out about the affair. Is it true he ridicules padawans?"

"Oh yes, Windu is a karking piece of podoo. He actually admitted after I was kicked out that he made up the lie of the vision of me turning dark. He wanted to make sure I suffered. There was no reprimand on his part. Knight Worly, she struggled in academics. She was tormented by Windu for being dumb when I think she might have had a learning disability. Due to the years of torment, that would breed the amount of anger required to fall to the Darkside. Now, let's test out these new engines."

Anakin got into his x-wing while Eva got into her a-wing. The two were to take them out to try and top the speeds the TIE fighters could pull. While Anakin was having a "working date" with his new girlfriend, Padme was not having any luck on Naboo.

Padme had to look for work as a lawyer because her career as a senator was over. She was able to afford a nice apartment in Theed. That wasn't the problem, she was a pariah on Naboo. Even her family had been furious.

"Padme, Anakin had risked his life for you since he was nine and risked his life for Naboo. Instead of blindly believing Windu, you should have spoken to him before just jumping to conclusions. You knew many of the Jedi treated Anakin like a second class citizen because he started his training at the age of nine. What this was really about is you wanted a husband to match the royal lifestyle that you have become accustomed to since you were queen."

Sola handed her the news. "Read this, this is about the Rebels. Anakin has moved on so you need to stop pining over him Padme."

Padme read the article and tears welled up in her eyes when she saw Anakin with another woman, a female pilot. Then she saw it "Empire Suffers Major Setback Thanks To Skywalker And Trevers".

"They're just friends Sola."

"Sure Pame, sure, just like you claimed you were just friends with Anakin. Considering how many people chose to treat Anakin like crap for being born a slave, you violated something sacred and that is trust. If you were to miraculously be able to repair your relationship, there will always be a seed of mistrust because of what you did to him. Tell me, did you join the Rebellion to take out the dictator in power or to get near Anakin? They need people with combat training, not a career politician."

Padme knew if anyone could call her out on her crap, it is Sola. Sola knew her better than even her own handmaidens. They won't talk to her because of what happened with Anakin.

While Padme was adjusting to a new normal, one that doesn't include Anakin, Obi-Wan was reaping what he had sewn. He was living as a hermit on Tatooine. Qui-Gon appeared to him.

"This was about getting back at Anakin except you wanted to take it one step further. You wanted to keep the Council pleased with you so you could have a seat someday. So you let them torment Anakin because after all, if the council says he will turn dark, then it must be true. Remember Obi-Wan, you were headed for the agricorps because every knight and master turned you down."

Qui-Gon vanished and it left Obi-Wan shaken. He knew he screwed up and in the beginning, Obi-Wan had hoped Anakin would run away with the torment. He knew his former apprentice was waging hell on the Empire. Instead of questioning Mace about the vision, he should have sought out Anakin and judged him for himself. He knew Mace had gotten onto the Council in an underhanded way.

On Dagobah, Mace lost all of the clout he had within the Order. The survivors of Order 66 were demanding he step down from the Council. One of them was Janus Erol who had witnessed Mace's tyranny for years.

"Mace, you were looking to eliminate all of your competition in getting onto the Council. Those who you have expelled from the Order were all those who you have loathed and were outed due to a vision. Visions are possibilities but given how you tormented Worly when she was a padawan, you fed right into her downfall.

I know you went to the Rebellion demanding the Order be a part of it. You honestly should have expected they would have turned you away. Skywalker had an impeccable record within the Navy. Anytime he flew, there were no fatalities on our side. Don't try to convince me he is dark, because he isn't. He is fighting within the Rebellion and he is working with D.G.S. You know that organization that is privately funded that fights galactic slavery? Work that the Order ignored."

"Knight Erol, you are out of line. You are expelled."

Janus handed over his lightsaber. "I will be aiding the Rebellion because you stang well know this war has the potential to go on for decades."

Janus Erol had been a master of intelligence operations and could rival Adi Gallia. He knew his intelligence work could aid the budding Rebellion.

He went to Yavin IV to see Arrun and Dina. He had known that they are raising their two-year-old granddaughter because their son and daughter-in-law were killed by separatists. Dina knew he was coming.

"Let me guess, Windu is being an idiot and Yoda allowed it?"

"You know it, his latest was tossing the hero with no fear out because of a vision."

"The kriffer, he tried to force Arrun and me to sign Luke and Eva over. He even had the gall to come for Talia."
