Megaman struggled to regain his bearings as he sat on the cold metal floor. He couldn't feel his legs and his arms struggled to move. His eyes widened as he felt a gaping hole in his chest.

Ridley

Memories came flooding back as he remembered what happened in the last ten minutes. Samus received a distress signal from a distant station and he along with Mario came as backup.

They were unsuccessful in finding anybody, only the place torn up like something or something got inside. Mario suggested turning back but Samus insisted on trekking on which would be the biggest mistake of her life.

Eventually, they came across a catwalk that separated block A to block B. Rock trailed behind the duo wearily looking from side to side for any surprises.

It was only when he turned away for one second that he hit him. Rock couldn't even scream as the tail impaled his abdomen as the only thing registering in his mind was Ridley's sadistic smile as he pulled out his tail and dropped Megaman.

It was a long drop and the last thing he saw before hitting the ground was Ridley charging straight for Mario.

Power at 40 percent

The ten-year-old got up slowly. If only Zero or Proto was here. Even Wily would be momentous help.

I need to get back to the catwalk

If only Game N' Watch or Pac Man was here. Their trampolines would have been REALLY useful.

Suddenly there was a huge explosion on top of the catwalk and he can hear Ridley's horrible screech.

I REALLY need to get back there.

Aki searched his memory bank seeing if any of his powers he acquired from his past enemies could get him back to the catwalk.

Guts Man? No

Dive Man? No

Jump Man? N-Wait yes! That's what I need!

Rock confirmed the settings. He could feel his boots get light and could feel the bounce in his step as the power of jump flowed through him.

Another explosion, another screech.

He felt lightweight as he soared through the air. Rock nearly missed the railing but grabbed the ledge before making another unfortunate drop.

35 percent

Rock could see the burnt remains of Samus's armor and the woman herself fighting Ridley in her zero suit. Mario nor Cappy was nowhere to be seen.

He charged his blaster, aimed it for a clean headshot but the dragon moved last minute and it only singed his wings.

Ridley stopped his assault on Samus and turned slowly on the individual who had a death wish. His eyes simmered with hatred as he laid eyes on the clearly not dead Megaman.

30 percent

He roared and charged for Rock but he was too slow and Rock dodged with ease. His throat burned as he spewed fireballs.

Rock deactivated Jump Man and activated pump man quickly putting them out. He pulled put two spikes from his wrist and threw them at Ridley. The targets hit their mark and Ridley screamed in pain as blades met flesh.

25 percent left

The beast attempted another charge this time going for a choke grab but was stop short by Samus kicking to the side and shooting him with her gun.

Ridley coiled in pain and was getting sluggish. He couldn't keep up. He needs to escape. He spread out his wings and attempted to fly away but was stopped short by a brown boot to his face.

Mario was clearly pissed at being left for dead by Ridley and beating the daylights out of him. He only stopped to catch his breath when the beast stopped moving.

He ran his gloved hand through his hair as he was missing his signature red cap as it was lost in the fighting.

5 percent

"Is everyone alright?" Mario asked as he looked towards Samus who looked no worse for wear however Megaman had a gaping hole in his chest.

"I-I don't think so." Rock replied with a stutter. His words feel stuck like they are refusing to come out. He can feel his systems shutting down.

Rock couldn't move and collapsed. The last thing he heard was Samus and Mario screaming his name.
