Ncis Headquarters

Gibbs and Bishop were at their desks in the bullpen. They were getting pretty worried. It was already late morning and neither Mcgee nor Torres had shown up for work. Suddenly The Gibbs' phone rang. Gibbs picked it up, and after nodding a few times, hung up. He turned toward Bishop. "Let's go. Missing people in Quantico."

Bishop was confused. "Shouldn't we wait for Torres and Mcgee?"

Gibbs' mouth was set. "That's who's missing."

Crime scene

They pulled up to the alleyway. The street was in shambles. There was blood on the street, and it looked more messed up than usual. Some of the neighbors reported gunshots, and there were shell casings to attest. Most worrisome were the credentials on the street. They belonged to their missing agents.

That's when a car pulled up. It was a government car, black with tinted windows. The doors opened and three people stepped out. The leader spoke to one of the officers, and was instantly let in. He was average height and had greying brown hair. The two others followed them. The second had darker skin and looked to be around 28. The other had long black hair and was carrying a computer that looked a mix of high tech and home mad. All three approached Gibbs and Bishop.

The leader stepped forward. "You guys NCIS?"

Gibbs looked on carefully. "Yes. what's it to you?"

The dark haired woman stepped forward. "We work for The Phoenix. It's a government agency that most people don't know. One of our field agents has gone missing, and we believe the same person that took him took your agents."

Gibbs was still wary. "How come I've never heard of you. I've got pretty high security clearance."

The first man shrugged. "Even higher." He noticed that Gibbs was still pretty skeptical. He sighed. "Look I can get my boss to call yours."

Gibbs nodded and the man stepped away. He picked up his phone and scrolled through the contacts.

A woman picked up on the first ring. "Director Webber."

"Hey matty. It's Jack. I need a favor. Can you…"

He was interrupted before he could finish.

"Call the director of NCIS to confirm the existence of the Phoenix? Already done. And Jack, if you ever call me again pretending that there's a assassination attempt on the presedint, you will be very sorry. YOU GOT THAT JACK?"

The woman hung up before he could reply. Then Gibbs' phone rang. He stepped away to take his call.

"Leon."

"Do I want to know why I just got a call from the director of The Phoenix? Yes, it does exist. And yes, you have to work with them. They are much higher than NCIS, and you did not need to know of their existence." Then Vance just hung up on Gibbs.

Gibbs turned around and sighed. "Looks like we'll be working together."

The man nodded. "Alright. I'm Jack, he's Bozer, and she's Riley. Why don't you take a ride with us. It's better to have this discussion behind closed doors.

Kidnappers base

McGee was dizzy. He had no idea where he was or how he got there. He knew that he was underground, and could smell the moisture in the air. It was as if he was swimming while in a chair. The chair itself was metal, and was no use to break. He was of course handcuffed to it. He blinked his eyes open. The room was dark, but not enough to be black. There were two figures on his right and left. On his right was recognizably Torres. There was blood running down his face. Just then, Torres decided to stir. He groaned and opened his eyes.

McGee turned as far as possible toward him. He hissed. "Torres!"

Torres blinked and looked up. Torres was in the exact same situation as McGee, with a bit more pain. His head was pounding, and he had obviously been hit really hard in the head. His vision swam a bit before he recognized McGee next to him. "Hey McGee."

"Alright Torres?"

"Yeah, you?"

"Yeah."

A third voice joined the mix. It was male, and came from the third chair on McGee's left. "Are you people finally awake?"

McGee jumped as high as possible at the time. He swivelled his head. The figure had some blood on his face and had shaggy blond hair. He looked to be in his thirties. "Who are you."

"My name's Mac."

"I'm McGee, this is Torres."

The man nodded. "Cool."

Then the door swung open.
