Hello everyone it has been… a very long time. I previously gave up on this story as life was getting to me as trying to live independently and survive this crazy world of ours kinda took most of my focus. But that's not going to be a problem for now. So I figured I will tackle this again with a fresh mind and a better tool for writing. So without further ado, let's begin, shall we?

Chapter Zero: Epilogue
Darkness is all you see. A black void of nothingness. No sound, no touch, no taste, no sights, and no smell. Just the Void. Until a bright flash of light pierces through the blackness, and then slowly fades.
An old book appears as the bright flash fades away. Its cover ineligible and worn away from obvious age, the pages and spine frayed and the bindings showing signs of coming undone. The book slowly opens as a deep booming voice echoes out, piercing vibrating through the void with an mysterious and overwhelming power.
Welcome to the world of pokemon. This world is home to the mysterious and powerful creatures known as pokemon, and to the humans that exist alongside them. Some humans view pokemon as only pets to take care of and bond with, others view them as partners to fight alongside in friendly competitions, some view them as mere tools to aid in their own ambitions, however there are some that view them as more than just tools or even friends. There exist humans that see Pokemon as romantic partners and companions of whom they wish to spend and share their lives with. These special relationships shared between man and pokemon are oft viewed as a crime, an abomination against the gods that created this world. Others are indifferent neither for nor against the idea of these types of bonds, while there are others who see this as a beautiful act of nature. This conflict has existed for many millennia, and continues to this day. From this conflict, however, miracles are born. As a result of the bonds between Man and Pokemon a third race emerges. Hybrids, Halfbreeds, Halflings, Pokehumans, they are known by many names and this third race soon became the sources of many of the legends and myths of this world, born with the ingenuity and creativity of mankind and with the powers and strength of the pokemon from which they are conceived, Some were heroes of epic proportions, others were the villainous monstrosities of nightmares, while others were neither and chose to live lives simply amongst humans and pokemon and reject the fame or infamy which others would pursue, and so would fade from Legend and myth into animosity. However, one of these legends was a tale of one man, who in the beginning wanted nothing more to help bring peace to his home, the ancient and beautiful land of Hoenn. It was a tale of justice, of bravery! And of madness and despair, the tale Zion Archi (ar ck-ee), a man known by many names; The Master of Legends, The Demon King, and The Fallen Hero. this tragic tale began as any other: a young man, a Hybrid, sought to use his abilities to save Mankind and Pokemon alike from the terror caused by the two warring beasts of legend, Groudon and Kyogre, with having gone Rayquaza missing for thousands of years this brave warrior used the power of the Orbs in tandem with his own powers to bring the mighty bests to heel, and quelled their rage before they could destroy the very land the had helped create eons before. With his task completed and the Legends lulled to rest, he was hailed a hero by many, and continued to do so for many years. However with every enemy fought and every villain defeated by his might, he began to descend into madness. Giving in to paranoia and feeling as if his powers were not enough, he dabbled into the darker methods of attaining strength; The hexes and curses of black magic. This path spiraled and fell until the hero of Hoenn was no more, he became obsessed with power and sought out any method to obtain it, he raised an army of which whose minds he had enslaved and tore through the region, leaving behind a trail of death, destruction, and suffering. His tale ends when he was slain at the hands of his own son, who with the aid of a clan of mystics who called the Mountain of Pyre their home, defeated his father's armies and ended his cruel reign. This tale, however. Is not of Zion's journey nor that of his son. The tale that I wish to tell. A tale of hardships and injustice, a tale of triumph and glory! The tale of family and friendships that, despite the forces against them, would rise and become… Legendary!
The clan of mystics on Mt. Pyre, the very same clan that aided the in the war against the Fallen Hero, became known as the Seishin (S-eye shin) and had taken it upon themselves to protect the Blue and Red Orbs and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. Despite their sacred, and secret, duty they welcomed all visitors to their mountain home, where many burials of both humans and pokemon were held. The Seishins other sacred duties were to perform these ritual burials, as they had the abilities to commune with spirits, almost every member of this clan possessed a sixth sense, and were trained to refine and utilise this ability alongside ghost type pokemon which also called this mountain home. Save for one child, Her name was Samantha Archi, a descendant of the Master of Legends, and a child of a Seishin Priestess. Her birth, and the unity between her mother and father were forbidden by the clan, but that did not stop the two lovers from marrying and raising their child. From an early age Samantha was shunned, as she showed signs of her ancestor's dark powers, as well as emerging signs of strong Psychic abilities of another ancestor. This, however, did not discourage her. nor did it upset the girl. As since she was forbidden from training she spent most of her time exploring the mountain where she was allowed, training her own abilities by herself, and often adventured to the nearby city of Lilycove often greeting travelers and trainers stopping in the city to rest. One trainer was captivated by this little girl's kind and cheery demeanor and decided to give her very own and very first pokemon, a newly born Happiny. Samantha was delighted by her new friend and named her Chase, due to the young Mons love of playing tag. Over the years, the two would grow close, almost like sisters, and Samantha discovered she could understand the pokemon as well as she could her own language. All was not full of joy and happiness. As time would come where Samantha's loving mother and father would pass on to the after life, after falling horribly ill. At the young age of fourteen Samantha set out on her own as a Trainer, no longer welcome by the Seishin and haunted by a dark feeling of an ever present danger. All she had left were her faith in her now refined abilities as an Archi, her Psychic powers, her wit and determination, and her close friend, now a capable Chansey, Chase.
Throughout her adventures she would meet new pokemon to befriend; a Growlithe named Wrath, for his unrelenting fury in battle, a calm and skilled Absol she was traded, named Gwen, and Akio, a brave Gallade who would gladly through his life on the line to save another. With these new friends by her side, she was prepared for when the hidden threat finally revealed itself. One night as they set up camp something struck from the darkness. Black tendrils tipped with crimson red barbs attacked from the Shadows and nearly speared Samantha through her heart. Akio however sensed the danger and intervened, cutting the offending tentacles away before they could bring harm to his master. The following battle was a fierce and intense struggle, as Samantha fought beside her friends to beat back wave after wave or attack, attacks that were obviously from a pokemon of great power. Resorting to the use of her ancestors' power she channeled a shadowy black mist which flowed like a spear of her own and struck the beast that was hiding in the dark. What followed was an ear piercing screech, and then they felt the presence quickly fade away. Samantha felt a rush of power when her misty spear returned, however it came with a dark warning "You will NEVER be SAFE.". That voice echoed in her mind, and would continue to do so for years to come.
After the attack Samantha would continue her journey as a trainer. She journeyed through Hoenn and Collected all eight badges and defeated the Hoenn League, as well as her rival, another young trainer named Steven Stone. All within two years. After a month of reigning as Champion she renounced her title in favor of traveling to Kalos and continuing her career as a trainer there after defeating their league, and resolving an incident between the mythical Hoopa and its sinister counterpart. She moved on to Johto and helped two young trainers shut down the infamous Team Rocket for good, she then proceeded to collect all eight badges and crush the Johto League. She then journeyed to Mt. Silver, battled the legendary trainer Red, and fought him to a draw. After feeling the embarrassment of that draw she journeyed back to Hoenn and battled Steven, who had recently become Champion. After easily defeating her former rival again, she decided that Hoenn had nothing left to offer but sad memories and regrets, and embarked on her journey to Sinnoh.
News traveled quickly as Samantha's name was well known after the 6 years of her career as a trainer, and many flocked to Sinnoh for their annual pokemon league to catch a glimpse of this almost mythical Trainer. The reason for her fame was simple, throughout her journey, she only ever had her four trusted partners. Wrath, now one of the world's most powerful Arcanine, now could channel his primal fury for devastating attacks, able to melt steel with one blast of fire. Gwen had sharpened her skills to a point, her abilities to land critical hits was uncanny and was almost guaranteed to end any match in seconds. Chase, now a Blissey, was able to hold her own in a contest of strength against any opponent and none could match her stamina, some say that they witnessed the Blissey overpower a fully trained Machamp and toss the powerhouse around as if he were made of feathers. And finally Akio, the Gallade was very skilled and Fought with a cleverness that rivaled his trainer, he was capable of defensive fighting, which Gallades were rarely known for. He was also exceptionally durable, and could deal massive Damage, whether it was physical or non-physical. Gale was also Capable of Mega Evolution, and ability which further boosted his attributes. Upon arrival in Sinnoh. Samantha was approached by a young trainer, who asked her to be her mentor. She happily agreed, under the condition that if the young girl saw or heard something strange while journeying with Samantha, that she would immediately put it from her mind and never speak or ask of it. The girl, named Cynthia Shirona, agreed to Samantha's terms and joined her on her journey. Cynthia learned many things from her teacher. About the world, about pokemon, even about people. Cynthia enjoyed history and loved the tales of Samantha's recent Ancestors and of Hoenn itself. However she also began to notice the stranger things she was told to ignore. Her teacher wakes up at night in cold sweat and hyperventilating with panic. Either whispering or sometimes screaming "it's coming! It's coming for me again!". She was always comforted by her pokemon. Usually Akio, who would whisper that he would protect her, that he was ready for the coming threat. And come it did. The day following these night terrors were always fraught with danger. Mysterious thunderstorms where lightning would ignore all logic and strike at them directly. Usually fended off by Akio with either a Protect or a Light Screen. To Cynthia the assault looked suspiciously like the attacks of a pokemon. And she could almost see the shape of a bird in the storm. Some nights she was told to hide and the sounds of a fierce battle raged from outside of her hiding place. The howls of some unfamiliar beast with the cries of fury from her teacher and her team. When told it was safe she emerged to find almost an entire Forest burned to the ground, which she was certain was not Wrath's doing. But the most horrifying of all of their encounters happened at night, where black tendrils with blood red tips would fly out of the darkness and try to pierce flesh. They were only successfully repelled by her teacher's strange powers, and always retreated with a bone chilling screech. At the end of their journey these attacks became less and less frequent and they were able to defeat the gym challenge and league where Samantha once again took to reigning as Champion.
After the League a movement for Hybrids and humans and Pokemon relationships began. As well as a movement against them. Laws were put into place in an attempt to protect both sides but a new religion shunning the practice arose with a large following soon becoming dangerous. Safe havens were created for couples taking part of these relationships as well as the Hybrids that were a result in them. Samantha tried her best as champion to resolve this issue and put into place laws that equally favored both sides. She also worked to put an end to the radicals religion that sought to destroy the laws as well as the safe havens. However through all of this. One day the news was filled with one announcement, the Sinnoh Champion was pregnant! But how?! And with whom?! Many suspected that it was the bastard child of Steven Stone, of whom Samantha regularly visited when she returned home To Hoenn, as she visited her parent's graves annually. However with neither of them avoiding questions of that subject, it remained a mystery.
The answer was known to Steven and out of respect and concern for his friend, he neither confirmed nor denied that the child was his. The truth was that Samantha's pregnancy was a result of love between her, and Akio. The Gallade was always hiding his emotions away and often did not speak. But Samantha knew how much he loved her, and she loved him the same. Steven married them in secret as an official priest could not be trusted. Very few attended the ceremony Steven, Cynthia, Gwen, Wrath, A few Seishin, who had grown to know and care for Samantha, Chase was the maid of honor, and Red Ketchum himself walked Samantha down the aisle to her groom. After the ceremony they were allowed alone time to.. Consummate their marriage. And so their Child was conceived. Or should I say? Children.
When Samantha and Akio became aware of her pregnancy they immediately sought medical expertise. With Samantha's constant anxiety and paranoia, she was afraid that she would unintentionally kill the developing life within her. However, they were told that the fetus was healthy so far but she was required to monitor it. And so they regularly did so. And several months into her pregnancy she received news that made her happier than she had ever been in her life. "You're having Twins!"
Well that's it for this chapter. I hope you enjoyed my attempt at world building. I'd like to believe I did that fairly well. In the meantime, leave a comment and follow and favorite if you enjoyed this as much as I did. I am extremely excited for this series as I have been putting it off for too long! Seeya next time
