Hello everyone!

Yeah another story for you all! Okay no real reason why i'm writing this, other then another plot bunny running around in my head. So this is one of my rare stories where Jaune is the MC and seeing as i don't see many Resident Evil/Rwby crossovers, iv'e decide to take it upon myself to do it and make one of my own.

And yes this is a "Jaune is Betrayed" story, but i swear it isn't like the other stories, nor is it what you think. This is a different type of betrayal and unlike the other ones, where the characters are being both, hypocritical and overall stupid, this one will make sense to normal people. Another reason to make this, is i'm kinda sick of seeing the RWBY characters being dumbass shits and stupid.

Namely over the whole "Transcripts" thing and while i did the same thing in "Jaune Of The Faint Smile" i didn't have Ruby and her team betray him. Shaking things up, so here we go again. As always i don't own Rwby or Resident Evil.

Prologue: Bloodlines

Bloodlines.

Definition, an animal's set of ancestors or pedigree, typically considered with regard to the desirable characteristics bred into it. Or a set of ancestors or line of descent of a person.

If one wanted to get technical about it, you could say that a person has a certain bloodline and is a descendant of a certain clan/family and or person. The bloodline itself can offer a number of things.

Such as looks in terms of hair color, skin type, certain facial features, etc. It can even determine how tall a person gets and even how their thought process, as that is more on a genetic level as the brain chemicals can effect the mind in different ways. This could be do to the fact of how a person's ancestor was exposed to in their younger years and passed it down to their children.

As such it can effect a person's mentally and how they think.

But most of all, a bloodline can pass down unique and rare abilities one can only get, with a certain bloodline. Though that is not to say only a bloodline can give you some abilities, as many can be learned, to those with bloodlines some things come easy as breathing.

Even if that thing takes years for a normal person to master.

However a bloodline can do more then just give a person unique abilities, it can in fact give them an unnaturally strong body, improved senses, an increased healing factor and immune to things that would normally kill a person. It can also give a person, an inherited skills form a certain ancestor.

They could be anything, ranging form simply being gifted with high intelligence to skills with a blade, a sharp eye or even skills with a gun.

All these things can be achieved by simply working hard that is true. However some bloodlines, can give a person all the skills and knowledge required to do such things. Or at the very least, make it easier for them to master it.

Now some bloodlines can be made both, naturally and artificially.

Naturally, is nature at work giving a certain group of people a unique abilities. The naturally gained ability don't evolve very much, as they are how nature intended and as such, gain no extra power.

Artificially however is much more trickier, as it's far more unpredictable then a naturally born bloodline. Mainly due to the fact that it can change and evolve in many ways and not all of them can be good. As for one, the changing can in fact be too much for the body and tear it apart while it's evolving inside the body.

Quite a nasty way to die.

Though that doesn't mean the risks can out weight the rewards. After all, the greater the risk, the greater the reward. But that also means if you fail, the result of failure can be catastrophic.

Death meant be the result but honestly, death would probable be preferable as the bloodline can mutant in unexpected ways and many of them aren't pretty, As such evolution has it's good points and bad points.

Nothing can be achieved without losing something.

That was something Jaune A. Arc knew better then anyone. Years of trying to suppress his bloodline and denying his rightful heritage, in an attempt to live a semi-normal life. However when things go wrong, having to go on the run simply because people wouldn't listen to his side of the story, Jaune has no choice but to embrace his heritage in order to survive.

As a descendant of Alice.

Done.
