So this story was actually made on Fimfiction and was my first story ever made, now the reason why I'm putting this here is because i want to be a Beta reader and to do that I either
A. Need to post five stories.
Or B. post a story of at least 6000 words
As you might guess i went with B
Now to those who are not familiar with these kinds of stories a Displaced story is usually when someone cosplays at a convention and after buying something from a merchent gets teleported to a version of MLP FIM. I wont be continuing this story but since I want to be a Beta-reader and make it up to some of you I figured why not?
So I hope you enjoy!
The convention was alive with activities as cosplayers of all kinds swarm over booths and stalls to find and buy items or gismos to complete their outfits.
One of these people was cosplaying as a grey warden a order of great warriors who sacrificed everything to stop darkness from consuming their world.
The man in question is named Kai Black a young man at nineteen years old with red hair and with eyes as blue as the ocean , Kai was here to help his parents with their stall this year, though he was given permission to search for some items to complete the look of his outfit. The first was a sword no real one but one made for show and the like, the second one was an amulet called "warden's oath" a pendent given to all new grey wardens after their initiation rites and a reminder of those who could not pass.
The outfit in question was a blue shirt like what the wardens wear during DA inquisition with plastic armour pieces attached to the shirt via leather straps, there was also some black pants with more plastic armour on the outer thighs and lastly the helmet was made of cardboard with a horizontal slit cut into it to make room for the eyes to see. All of these were painted in their appropriate colours.
Kai spent quite some time before he finally found a booth which looked like it could house dragon age items. However before he could move another step a security guard grabbed him by the shoulder, turned Kai around to face him and said "I wouldn't go to him if I were you son" confused Kai replied "Why? he doesn't some dangerous and he sells quite the collection" The guard looks over Kai's shoulder to the merchant in question.
Indeed he doesn't seem out of place in a convention like today with his stall having nothing suspicious and even the man himself doesn't look anything other then a normal merchant selling things but still.
"People have been disappearing lately and last anyone saw them is buying something from a stall or booth and then a bright light then nothing not even footprints or anything like that" as the security guard spoke he looked really uncomfortable even just talking about it though Kai thought it was stress talking so he said "Maybe it's the weather or something but you seem stressed out and I can't say I blame you and even if what your saying it true don't you think someone would have done an investigation or something?"
The guard having removed his hand replied " Fine disappear not like I was trying to stop you or anything" and with that he walked away.
"well that was odd, it must be the stress for if someone really is making people disappear the government or so organisation would be looking into the matter" Kai thought as he finally arrived at the merchant's booth.
The booth itself was packed with dragon age items like toys, books, costumes and a few games here and there and finally the table was covered in a black sheet with the dragon age logo on it.
As for the merchant, he wore a warden outfit much like Kai's but more fitting a mage then a warrior with a hood and less armour then he has and was well polished.
Clearing his throat to get his attention Kai said in a gentleman like voice "Hello good sir! Mind if I see your wears?" The merchant simply nods whilst checking his stock of goods.
"Must be shy or not one for conversation anyway, I guess I could relate as I have a friend who has trouble with others." Kai thought as he began looking for the two items that will complete his outfit, only to marvel at the stuff on sale as the booth had mostly rare collectors items and books. "Whao! This guy must have fortune to afford all this! " Kai thought again, only to frown at the lack of weapons as much of the table is covered in small items and couldn't have room for even a fake knife.
After looking twice with no luck Kai asked the merchant " you wouldn't happen to have a long sword would you?" At the word 'sword' the merchant became really uncomfortable and said with a surprisingly young voice "I-I d-don't like weapons or just sharp objects I-I-in general...they bring back memories that I would like to forget." The young conversation seller seem really uncomfortable, practically shacking slightly and having a hard time constraining on the box he was organising below.
"Woah he must be stressed bad or more likely having PTSD from what he just-" Kai's thoughts were interrupted when his eyes caught sight of the second item he was looking for, "warden's oath" and the price tag said "£20 pounds " for it but before he could make his request, what the security guard said resurfaced in his mind.
"People have been disappearing lately and last anyone saw them is buying something from a stall or booth"
"Fine disappear not like I was trying to stop you or anything"
Shacking his head Kai looked at the young man then behind himself in the direction the guard went, then back towards the merchant and back behind himself again, after a few moments he turned back toward the merchant.
"There's no way this young shy man just selling collectibles is responsible for possibly thousands of people and besides what does someone have to gain by kidnapping people? " Kai thought again and then said to the merchant "I'll have that amulet there, the worth twenty pounds please " the merchant nods and hands Kai the oath then he wrapped it around his neck.
After making sure the necklace was successfully secured Kai turned around and began his way back to his family before suddenly.
"Finally I was hoping someone would buy from me eventually, the others really need to stop spamming displaced so much" A old voice said seemingly out of nowhere before, causing Kai to wipe around frantically searching for the old voice before suddenly his vision turned black and went to the land of dreams.
Aurora Equestria Everfree forest Date: 14th. 7th. 2019 CB
The dark sky was beautiful over the Everfree forest, the most mysterious and dangerous place on Aurora being supposedly created from the remains of the Everfree castle or castle of the twin sisters respectively, from the young creatures that inhabit it to the random humans that visit, the forest house many wonderful things that can draw aw and attention from even the most dark hearted of individuals.
It now houses a large crater made from lightning and from that hole came a man that will bring about a world changing event once again.
POV change First person Kai Black
"Uuaah my head" I thought as I was pulled from the black abyss of sleep and started to open my eyes, only to see the most beautiful night sky I've ever seen. Deciding to get my bearings I began to move, only to stop and listen to the noises I make.

Looking over my costume I discovered it wasn't a costume anymore but an actual grey warden armour set with the addition of warden's oath wrapped around my neck and looking more life-like then before. Continuing with my plan of finding out where I was, I stood up and climbed the surprisingly deep crater and as soon as I was out I looked around while thinking about the resent events.
"Okay now why was I in that crater in the first place and how...did..I... " I slowly started to think back to what the security guard which didn't help my rapid breathing.
People have been disappearing lately lately lately
"Oh God! Don't tell..that..that..that little!...no calm down Kai it couldn't have been him and even if it was I'm the one who bought the oath so no one is to blame but me." I thought to myself to keep me from going crazy, as soon as I was calmed I continued looking at my surroundings, the first and most noticeable thing was the sky which not only were the stars visible but also in unrecognisable constellations.
"And you won't have seen them on earth unless you lived in the Southern Hemisphere,which concludes I'm on another planet or something like that" I thought to myself again as I walked in a random direction to hopefully find shelter for the night.
Aurora Equestrian heartlands, Ponyville, Castle of friendship Princess Twilight Sparkle POV First person
I woke up with a fright as if a arrow just went through my chest, sitting up on my queen sized bed I looked to the direction of the Everfree the place where my path truly began.
"What in maker's name was that spike of power? It's as if someone or something came into this world and I felt it the strongest. " I thought to myself as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes even though it is midnight. Looking back at the Everfree though my bedside window I wonder what caused that massive spike of energy, until a series of knocks came to my double set of doors.
Groggily I got up from my fluffy companion and with sleep wasting away slowly (A trick I learned from my many late nights) I walked towards the doors and then with still sleepy hands (cruse you! Biology!) I pulled the doors open to be greeted by the four of the many close people in my life both as a friend, a daughter and a princess of friendship. Three girls and one boy.

The boy was of fourteen years old, five years younger then me, was 3'.4" in hight and had green spiked hair, sleepy green eyes and wore purple pyjamas with a sleeveless top, the boy also had purple dragon scales going along the elbow side of his arms as well as the coke of his neck. This is my adoptive brother Spike, number one assistant and my LBBFFE.
The girl next to him was the same age as me though hight wise she's only a head taller then Spike, with me and the rest standing at the average hight of 6 . She had rainbow coloured hair and pink eyes as well as blue Pegasus wings, she also wears a blue sports bra and panties. This is rainbow dash the most brave and loyal friend a princess of friendship can ask for.
On her left was Applejack the oldest (save rarity) out of all of us here, she had long blonde hair tied in a ponytail that goes to her wast, wearing a sleeveless shirt and a short skirt. She's the strongest person I've known and the most honest as well though she lacked her signature ten-gallon hat that she almost never parts with.
And there was rarity herself, same age as AJ (As well as her girlfriend 'giggles') though with her high heels she looks like the tallest but only by inches. Rares has long purple hair like mine (though a different shade and lacking a pink stripe like me) that goes to her shoulder blades. Rarity was wearing a a fancy dress that looked a little over designed (At least to us) wore white high heeled shoes, rarity dispite her fancy nature is actually quite generous and always will to help a friend without anything in return.
I was about to asked want was before- "CMC" they all said in unison.
"Oh maker have mercy" Was all I could say that night right then and there.
Warden's first fight and rescue -
Aurora Equestrian Everfree forest Kai Black POV First person
"Well that looks welcoming" I thought jokingly as i came across a small old bridge that leads to an abandoned castle on the other side, the castle itself was quite huge probably eclipsing even the biggest castles on earth and was arranged in a diamond like pattern with four towers at the points and the main structures inside the shape.
The area around the bridge was foggy as Ireland and obscured any far looking visuals and had some stone here and there that was obviously overtaken by nature, the bridge itself was surprisingly in good condition with signs of been used recently by someone. Leading just ahead of the bridge between the castle was a guard house of some kind, with what remains of a path going through it and towards the diamond castle.
"How old is that? Must be a thousand years old give or take." I thought as I carefully stepped over the wooden boards to check how sturdy they were, once I learned the bridge can support my wight I very slowly walked towards the castle. Halfway through I looked to my left and even with the fog's thickness I could see quite the forest down below, the forest itself must've been over thousands of years older then the castle as evident by the deepness of the foliage.
"Woah that's some view, even with the fog you can get a great view from here." I thought as I finally got across the bridge and started walking towards the guard house. The house itself was just a cylinder shaped tower with a cone on top and the path just goes by it, the idea to me seemed that the tower would act like a lookout for the main castle given its position on the ridge which has an over view of the forest. At least that's what I thought until I factor in the way the overgrowth is Entangled and the amount of roots and vines coming from the castle almost suggest that the forest was grown out of this castle.
Shaking my head and focusing on the guard house, I noticed the door was gone so I took a look inside and it about as I would expect from something as a lookout tower. The main floor was at least five meters wide but aside from a few empty crates the room was nothing special, proceeding to the next floor I found what was supposed to be an armoury with a few weapon racks broken and missing their weapons, their was also some armour stands near the walls with only one stand having a full set left.
Moving over to the armour and inspecting it the one thing I realise right away is that the designer wanted to inspire fear into their enemies given how menacing it looks at first glance, it's main colour was a dark purple which without light makes it look almost black as night, the armour also had many sharp angles that added to the menacing part of the design.
Turning away from the armour and glancing at the rest of the armoury I began thinking about what to do next.
"This place looks secured and I have a few weapons to defend myself with, though I should check the rest before-" loud scratching noises interrupted my thoughts and a quick peek out of a nearby window rapidly change my mind about staying here.
Wolves were hacking and slashing at the base of the tower, having picked up my sent no doubt but something was wrong with these Wolves as whilst they looked like regular wolves these one were (I kind you not!) made of wood , other then that though I didn't see anything else that different about them.
Looking back at the armoury and then at the pack below I thought about my options.
"obviously I can't take on A wolf let alone a full pack so I should either make a break for the castle and hope to find safety or B I could wait and see if they'll forget about me..." after a minute or two I chose B and began to wait out the hunters.
After an hour or so of looking at the wolves relentlessly but failingly scratching my sanctuary the wolves suddenly began looking around as if hearing something before off in the distance before as one run off towards the forest and away from me, to which I sigh with relief.
"Well looks like they aren't in the mood for Kai-kabobs, better make for the castle while-"
HHEELLP!
Looking at the direction the scream came from, eyes widened as it was the way the wolves were going. Acting fast I look back at the armoury, grab the closest sword I could find and ran back down the stears and outside then after couple of more screams I began following in the direction of those sounds to hopefully rescue whoever was going to have wolf problems.
"Wolves or no wolves I won't let some innocent people die because of me!" I thought with determination as I ran to the rescue before it was too late.
Aurora Equestrian Heartlands, Ponyville, castle of friendship Princess Twilight Sparkle First person POV Two hours earlier
"So exactly what happened girls?" I asked my friends as I'm still wrapping my head around the fact the CMC have gone into the Everfree...AGAIN!
Applejack was the first to answer "whelp sugar I was busy with ma midnight training whilst ma sis and her friends were having a sleepover when that flash of lighting appeared and was temporarily blinded , by tha time I got ma senses back I went to tha girls little treehouse only to find them missing like a needle in a haystack "
"After that she went told us darling and we agreed that since there's only one thing that would interest them in the everfree, we thought it best we have you along as well " Rarity finished off the story with rainbow just nodding to every word they say and looking at her face that's understandable.
Spike meanwhile was busy just keeping his eyes open throughout the conversation but when he got his turn he said in cute but tired voice "Ceeeelllesstia sent a..." Before sleep over came him and fell through I caught him just before his face met the floor and took the message from his hand before setting him down on my bed , turning to my friends and unscrolling the message I began to read it out loud for girls to hear.
Twilight
I'm sure you're aware of the magical shock wave as well
Luna and I also senesced it and believe that it was a dimensional rift spell
Whilst normally I'd tasked the members of the royal guard to search for our visitors they are as you know are Stretched thin with the wake of unrest outside of the heartlands and we don't know if this individual or individuals could be dangerous so I like to ask you and anyone you dem capable to search for the outsider and if they prove dangerous run and call the guard but should they be willing to talk then talk but be careful because they might be confused as to where they and who we are.

As I finished the letter the girls looked at me with a "guess that settles it" look and I said with a determined voice worthily of princess. "Grab some bags and medicine girls we're going to the Everfree!"
Before long me, applejack, Rarity and rainbow Dash we're on our way to the Everfree to save the CMC..again and hopefully meet our new visitor.
And hope they're friendly.
Kai black Everfree forest First person POV Present time
I spent a few minutes following the wooden wolves trail as apparently they're also going to the source of the yells which ever now and then were still happening.
"HELP!"
Cause in point.
Anyway after the tenth or so yell I finally found the source and it made me even more determined and angry as well.
There were three little girls suck in a tree with the wolves desperately trying to climb up with no success.
As I said before I'm not one to sit by whilst people are in need, though at the time I admitted that what I was against was dangerous on legs.
There were fourteen wolves in all two who looked like the alphas which were circling each other probably facing off against one another in a duel.
That made me realise two things.
One the group as a whole were actually just two separate packs trying to claim the pry from the other.
And two if I could take the pack leaders the others should either run away or fight amongst themselves to become the new alpha.
"And they said I wouldn't have to use those tactical lessons unless I'm in the military." I thought as I started to plan my attack, I was on a ridge overlooking the tree which itself was in a small clearing in the forest. The bulk of the two packs were completely focused on the girls that I would only have to worry about the alphas at least until they're comrades realise what's happening. Speaking of the alphas the two were finally making some moves, just some charges against each other to probably test their skills to find a weakness in their opponent.
Seeing my chance I leapt down from the ridge, sword in my right hand and with a right to left swing I cut the wolf's tail and rear right leg.
Flipping over his side to face me the alpha along with its opponent stared at me with wide eyes not expecting me to intrude on their duel, sensing an opening with this I lunged at the wounded alpha surprising it even more which would cost him as my strike impelled the sword in its skull, it's blood pouring out like a fountain.
Unfortunately that left me open for the second alpha to tackle me from behind and sending towards the ground, my sword flying out of my hand while doing so.
Soon enough we were in a proned wrestling Mach with me and the wolf struggling to gain an upper hand, though the wolf had the advantage in natural weapons as his rear claws slashed at my midsection even penetrating my armour leaving scratch marks on my skin.
After a few minutes of tortured wrestling I was finally able to get an opening and grabbed the alpha's head and started twisting it to a unnatural angle, the slashing becoming more frequent as it desperately trying to free itself from death.
"Snack time's over!" I thought and even yelled as a loud 'SNAP!' was heard and the alpha went limp on me dead.
As I pulled the corpse off of me and sat up I realised how bad my injuries were, all of my sides were showing red marks and even bleeding in some cases and my chest armour was crushed slightly by the weigh of opponent.
But the worst part aside from the fact I need a doctor is that the original plan didn't work at all as the twelve remaining wolves whilst not going after the girls were now ready for some Kai-kabob. Worst still is that I was blacking out due to blood loss so I could barely do anything but watch as the hungry pack approached me with death in their eyes.
But just as I blacked out I faintly head a voice saying "Stay away from ma family ya farmits!"
Meanwhile with Twilight Sparkle / Everfree
Me , applejack, rarity and rainbow Dash were closing on the CMC and we've prepared the best we could, we also had a simple but good plan. Me, rarity and applejack will distract the most likely Timber wolf pack while dash get the girls to safety by flying. Out of all of us AJ was really the most prepared, with a wooden spear with sharpened stone head and AJ had plenty of practice with it.
Rainbow Dash couldn't be bothered to arm herself been more concerned for scotaloo's safety but she was high in the air and directing us towards the girls.
As for me and rarity we have our pulse spells to use which are as rainbow would describe as "hand lasers" though they require mana to use.
Mana is the magical energy that magic runs on and what most magic users like unicorns, mages and sharmens need to cast spells or rituals, if a person doesn't have enough mana to use the spell it will draw its magic from the stamina of the caster which can prove fatal.
So I'm carrying a bag with mana crystals and vials for rarity to use , the way she draws mana from a crystal is putting it towards her mouth and drawing her breath in whilst focusing on the crystal's energy and in this way she stores her accumulated energy in her body to use in her spells. The vials work like the crystals only rarity has to drink it to get the mana in her body.
As for why I don't have any mana replenishment gear? Well it's because as an Alicorn my body constantly generates mana and not only stores it but also focuses it into more powerful mana, meaning my mana is way more powerful then regular mana so the spells I cast no matter how experience I am in them are always going to be more powerful then those casted by regular magic users.
As we were coming upon a small clearing we could see a pack of twelve Timberwolves approaching what I assumed was our dimensional visitor given his unique armour and he himself looked wounded and about to pass out from blood loss.
But before I could do anything applejack yelled "Stay away from ma family ya farmits!" and tossed her spear at the lead wolf with enough force to send it back a few meters, soon AJ began to fight the wolves up close while me and rarity fired pulse blasts from afar.
Although we weren't soldiers we do have experience with rescuing the CMC from Timberwolves and soon enough AJ, rarity and I have destroyed half of the twelve wolves whilst rainbow got the girls to safety.
As I was tossing rarity her third vial with my magic however I noticed one of the wolves sneaking around us to get at the visitor, who was still unconscious! Thinking fast I trawled around and fired my right hand at the wolf only to miss so I fired my left same result, so I kept firing but the wolf seemed either skilled or lucky. Either way I was panicking as the wolf kept dogging and got closer to its pry, just as I was thinking that I got a shot the wolf jumped towards the visitor.
Time seemed to slow down as I tried to line up a shot but with my state of panic I could very easily fire a blast that could kill both the wolf and the visitor.
But just as quickly as it started it ended with a familiar spear been thrown at its head killing it and letting its body tumble to the ground.
Releasing a sigh of relief I turned to applejack who gave me a thumbs up and went to retrieve her spear whilst rarity finished off the last Timberwolf and then sat down to catch her breath, I myself ran towards our dimensional visitor and looked him over and gasped.
He had scratches all over his sides and his chest looked crushed as well as some bleeding in some places overall it's amazing he survived this long as he did.
"How's ar pal twi?" AJ asked as walked up to me with spear in hand, turning to face and with slight panic I answered "not applejack his sides are bleeding rapidly and his chest looks crushed so I don't know if he's breathing properly." AJ looks at our charge and says "Then let's stop dilly dadaling and get this fella to the hospital...rares!" Soon enough me and the others were carrying our guest through the forest back to Ponyville with AJ and Rarity holding him by the legs whilst I carried him by the arm pits.
As carried our guest to the Ponyville hospital I couldn't help but think "don't worry stranger we don't leave people behind. That's what friends are for."
A princess's visitor -
Aurora Equestrian heartlands, Ponyville hospital Third person
The hospital of Ponyville was relatively undermanned at the time Twilight, Applejack and Rarity brought their visitor in and got treated by the staff. Fortunately their new patient despite in bad shape was going to be alive, sore but amongst the living thankfully. Twilight was busy talking to the doctors in the reception area whilst Applejack and Rarity were talking with Rainbow about the CMC's latest conundrum.
"You're flouking with me Dash, they saw Bandits that were stealing our apples" AJ said with surprise in her voice, even the CMC know not to mess with criminals.
"Uh look I was really tired by that point so of course I didn't get what they said exactly right just what the gist is." RD explained sounding more tired by the minute, just then Twilight comes towards them with the doctors walking in the opposite direction to check on their patient for the evening.
"So darling what's the verdict?" Rarity asked with worry in her voice, no one should die from doing such heroic deeds she reasoned. Smiling and nodding Twilight said "He'll be unconscious for a while but aside from the scratching on the sides and the bent armour? He'll be fine at least " that gave the three girls sighs of relief (or in rainbow's cause a yawn) and went to join their friend on the bench next to the double doors leading out of the hospital.
"So (yawn) what's (yawn) now?" Rainbow Dash asked sounding even more tired, especially since it was nearly morning and RD's need for speed draining her strength.
Between her friends and putting a hand to her chin Twilight answered "Well it's best I inform Celestia about this and ask if Luna would see into his dreams to find out more about him." Raising a brow Rarity asked "Can't you wait ask our visitor tomorrow darling?"
Turning to her left Twilight answered "Because Rarity he could be in serious stress after what he's been through and by going into his dreams Luna could talk to him without causing panic, because in his own mind Luna can make him feel peaceful and thus have an easier time communicating with him" thinking so more Twilight added "And what makes you so sure he'll be awake tomorrow?"
Before Rarity could say anything Nurse Redheart came from the desk across from the bench holding a small ocean blue vial.
"Well ladies all the paperwork is done and you're free to go and Rarity be sure to drink this before bed to fully restore your mana" Redheart said passing the vial to Rarity.
After saying their goodbyes the three began to leave the hospital and headed back home for some well deserved rest.
But as they are travelling home Twilight couldn't help but wonder "Why do I feel a tugging sensation back there?"
Kai Black First person Unknown location
I didn't know how long I was unconscious for but how can anyone? Anyway next thing I know after I blacked out was standing in some sort of dream land.
"Actually it more or less looks like the Fade from dragon age inquisition only instead of a green demonic feel, this place has a blue midnight wonder land type feel. " I thought as I began to walk around this 'dream' and see what's what.
As I stated before this place has a dream like aura to it and the landscape is no different a misty fog that goes to my wast, hills with flowers in colours of blue, white and purple, mountains with crystal clear water falls and a sky that's just as if not more beautiful then the one at the forest I was in.
"I'm glad you like this place. This was created by my father to help the honoured dead find rest" a voice said behind me.
Spinning around I see a quite strange sight. A woman around two heads taller then me with sparkling blue hair and chocolate like skin, her eyes were also of an emerald colour and wore a black dress with a skirt that goes down just above her knees, the upper half of the dress had a slight bluer colour with some patterns on the shoulders and wrist.
The skirt however was pitch black with two blue trims going across it and finally her outfit was complete with high heeled boots that go just blow the knee and soakings that go up to met the skirt.
Now the outfit itself was not COMPLETELY different to what I would see in my world BUT she also had a crystal on her forehead and blue wings on her back that if you closer, can see sparks and the wings themselves look like they are made of energy.
Seeing my stunned face she asked "I take it my kind aren't known in your world?" Her voice had a British tone to it and she spoke with an air of calmness that put my stunned face away.
"Uh! Yeah something like that and you are?" I asked notting how surprisingly calm I was since most people would simply stare at such a awe inspiring beauty...wait what?
Shaking those thoughts aside the woman in front of me answered "My name is princess Luna, an alicorn of the equestrian kingdom and sister to the high princess Celestia and avatar of the Moon"
realising that I was standing before royalty I put my left knee to the misty ground and lowering my head in a type of knightly bow to show some respect. Though fortunately there was no need as she said "raise gentle soul there is no need to be formal especially in a place like this". With that I stood back to my full hight and said "well my name is Kai black and.. I'm not quite from around here if you catch my drift ".
To my surprise she nods and says "my sister and I felt your arrival and thought it best to speak with you in the dreamlands so as to not cause harm in any way". In a way I understood the method when greeting someone not native to your area though going into someone's mind might seem...wired in a sense.
"So what is it you want to talk about?" I said sarcastically as I could probably guess the answer.
Snapping her fingers a chair made of fog rises up and she sits down then says "well obviously I would like know some of the general things in your world and why you are here "
Gulping I sat down on another fog chair began talk about my predicament.
This is going to be a LOONG dream I thought before focusing on my conversation.
Aurora Equestrian heartlands, Ponyville hospital Date 15th, 7th, 2019 CB 6AM
Normally the hospital would be empty at this time of day but for a certain outworldly individual the hospital had some of its best people in earlier then normal by order of the high princess and were expecting a visit from the princess of friendship.
It was at this time that said princess finally arrived and walked over to reception and asked "could you please tell doctor dull light that I'm here to see the patient from last night?" The nurse at the desk nodded before pressing a button and said "doctor? She's here" the person on the other end said "Ahh yes bring her to room 5 on the third floor would you dear?".
With that the nurse lead Twilight through the building until they came upon the third floor's fifth room, once inside Twilight was greeted with the sight of a nineteen year old laying on the only bed in the room with dull light just finished replacing a blood bag and once done turned to face the princess.
"Ahh young Twilight good to see you dear." Dull light was quite a large man about one and a half times the size of Twilight and had dark skin, short black hair and green eyes.
Dull light was once a doctor in Canterlot and had actually been the one who delivered Twilight when her mother was pregnant so he was as close to to a second father like Celestia was a second mother. But unfortunately due to some nobles falling out and dull was a close friend of one of the two, Dull light was forced to leave the city and find work somewhere else.
Fortunately for Twilight Dull light was given a job at Ponyville hospital by mayor mare and has had a hand in some injuries that her friends got( like Rainbow Dash) and though rarely he had helped Twilight mentally as well and was still considered family.
Walking to her second father she gave him a hug and said "It's good to see you as well Dull light." taking a step back from the embrace Twilight turned to their mysterious visitor noting that aside from his sides and chest which were covered in bandages, the rest of his body was unharmed and clothed in traditional hospital grooms.
Standing to her right Dull light said "We did a thorough analysis on his stomach area and aside from stressed bones and strained muscles the only thing the Timber wolf was able to was squeeze like a bear and use is claws to chip away at the armour he was wearing." Said armour was lad out on a table across from them and aside from the helmet the armour had dents, mud marks and blood stains all over it.
"Can you make sure you get these to Rarity to clean up and fixed? It's the least we can do to say thank you." Twilight said hoping to ease any harm if the patient has a thing for his armour.
With a reassuring smile Dull said "Of course Twilight I'll make sure the armour gets mrs Bells best treatment." With that he went to leave the room but not before saying "I'll also suggest you stay with him little light, from what our scans tell he' probably be waking up today so it's best if someone would be beside him just in case " with he left Twilight to her thoughts.
Finding a chair and sitting down the princess watched as her outworldly friend simply lade there doing nothing but breathing with his bandaged chest rising and falling in tune.
During that time though she couldn't help but feel that same tugging sensation from last night only it feels like it's right next to her
What could this mean? Twilight thought and preyed that she'll get those answers soon.
She hates lingering questions.

The cave was mucky and wet not to mention cold even with the fire the three hooded figures could only stay for so long.
Fortunately they completed their task
"Well this sucks " said the youngest of the three around the fire, breaking the silence
"Yeah because SOMEONE decided to grab something to eat AFTER we went on this mission " said the second figure annoyed by the fact that they got compromised by KIDS!
"Well it wasn't the guard so that's a plus and WE did get what we needed " The oldest said holding a bag up for all to see.
Under their hoods the other two smiled
Seeing as he lifted the mood the oldest continued "with this we only need to get support and when the time is right this kingdom will be back to where it belongs... the nobility "
The hands of fate began to turn.
