POV; Izuku (Deku) Midoriya
"Could I still be a hero even if I don't have a quirk?!" I yelled towards the number one hero, All Might. He slowly turned his head. I kept my eyes shut tight.
"No, not without a quirk" he said. I froze. My idol had just told me my dreams were unattainable. Without a word, he flew off.
A huge explosion occurred in the distance. I sped over, curiosity got me. At a four way intersection was a green slime monster. The same one that had tripped me before. I saw someone there, Kacchan. Everyone was just watching. Even All Might in his weak form was there.
Another explosion, from Bakugou. This time it seemed as if the monster took damage. In the corner of my eye I saw All Might angry. Why isn't he doing anything?! I thought.
After a little while, some other small hero's showed up. After more hours of fighting they were able to rescue Kacchan. He was unconscious for a few days, since that villain basically sucks the life out of you. Other damage was mild, just a few fires from his explosions.
There was ten months until the entrance exam for UA High. I didn't care what All Might said. I would become a hero.

Today was the day of my exam. I have been training all of my life for this. Kacchan eventually got better and was able to go home, so I would see him there.
Arriving there I made sure to stay far away from Kacchan. But, when we got there they made us sit by our schools so I didn't have a choice.
After an explanation from Pro Hero; Present Mic, I went to my assigned place. They opened the gates, and we all ran in. I got a late start, because I didn't have a quirk for a speed boost.
We were all running through the fake city, a few of the enemies already down. A two pointer crossed my path. I don't know what I was thinking. I couldn't take this thing down with my fists.
Suddenly, some guy with a belly button laser zapped him for me. He smiled and ran off. I felt useless. Everywhere I looked were people with amazing quirks, and dead robots everywhere.
"ONE MINUTE LEFT!!" Shouted Present Mic.
Out of nowhere this HUGE robot appeared. This girl seemed trapped under the debris from an explosion. Everyone was running the other way, but I didn't want her to get hurt. Or even die. I ran towards her, right in the robot's path.
She looked up, she looked so worn out. I ran as fast as I could. I was just about to reach when… "Times up!" All of the remaining robots shut down. Including the one about to crush her.
A week later, I got a letter in the mail. I ran up to my room, the walls now bare. I took down all of my All Might posters. What hero ruins another's dreams?

I walked out after watching the short video in the envelope. My mom, Inko Midoriya, was waiting in the hall.
"Did you get in?!" She said smiling and holding cookies.
"N-no" I said, tears filling my eyes.
"Well I still think you're really cool hunny" she said, grinning and holding out a cookie.
I took it, but let it hang in my hand. My dreams were complete dust. My whole life...I kept lying to myself. Even though I knew my dreams could never come true.

POV: Shigaraki
"Well Kurogiri, how many thugs did we manage to get. For the attack on the USJ"
"A few hundred Tomura," Kurogiri said.
"Excellent. Would you mind turning on the news?" I said, not wearing my father's hand.
Kurogiri switched on the television. We were watching the news, as usual. The headline today was; "Quirkless boy tries to enter UA High?!"
It looked interesting. They showed a photo of a boy. Maybe 15 years old. His name was Izuku Midoriya.
"Quirkless…" I drummed my fingers on the table. "He could be an easy target…" I laughed at Kurogiri.
"Indeed. Should I send someone to fetch him?"
"Please do." I laughed. Then I contacted All For One.
"We found a new member," I laughed.
"I don't need to know every time you find a thug for your USJ attack" he sighed.
"Oh no, I mean a permanent member."
"Why are you telling me this."
"Because you're the one who will have him join us. He's quirkless, so you need to bribe him with a quirk."
"Great plan. When will this take place"
"We were thinking two days before the attack, at this bar."
"Deal. See you there Shigaraki."

POV; Izuku (Deku) Midoriya
I didn't sleep that night. I was up, thinking of what I did to deserve this. Maybe I should've taken a swan dive off the building. I laughed to myself, tears starting to fall.
Just as I fell asleep, something hit my window. I bolted straight up. I looked. Everything was in place.
I turned back around to my bed and saw someone with blue hair, and a grey skinned hand on their face. Their lips cracked, and they looked tired. One red eye peeking out between the middle and index finger. I jumped back.
"Hello Izuku" he said with a cold laugh.
"Who are you" I said in a yelled whisper. Not wanting to wake my mom.
"Well I heard about you on the news. And I wanted to make an offer with you"
"An offer?"
"I can give you a quirk-"
"Really!?" I interrupted. He looked at me with an annoyed expression.
"Only if you join my league." He smiled evilly.
"What kind of league?" I said. Already knowing the answer.
He chuckled, "A villain league"
I pondered this for a few minutes. Luckily, he was patient. All of my life, I've despised villains. Always wanting to be a hero...but now that dream is smashed. And if I can get a quirk….
