Chapter 1: Victoria's first friend

Princess Celestia was walking around the castle. She decided to take a break from her work for a little while.

"Your majesty there something for you." One of the royal guards said.

"Thank you," Celestia said as she waited for the guard to come back.

When the guard came back Celestia saw he came with a filly who was an alicorn. Celestia didn't know how that was mobile. You can't be born an ALicorn. You have to earn it.

"Shes an Alicorn!" Celestia said in surprise.

"Yes, your majesty." The royal guard said. "But there's also a note for you.

Celestia nodded as she used her magic to read the note.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I'm sorry to say but James and Lily are no longer with us.

Now I must ask you something. I know that it would be hard especially since Lily passed away and Lily did tell me that you banished your sister to the moon.

Since Lily and James both died I asked if you raised Victoria as if she was your own.

Now I know this might be hard because your a ruler of a kingdom; Equestria as Lily said I beg you that you raised Victoria.

If your wondering how Lily and her husband James Potter died is because of an evil wizard in our world. He kills people who diffed him. Since Lily and James both defied him he killed them. Surprisingly he did not kill Victoria and Harry. I thought it was best to separate them. Victoria is three years older then Harry is.

I'm sorry for your loss. We are all mourning over the deaths of Lily and James Potter in our world.

You are not alone Princess Celestia.

"Oh, Lily," Celestia said quietly remembering Lily. Lily was also a student of Star Swirl. But then she got accepted into Hogwarts which she ended up leaving both of her younger sisters, Celestia and Luna. Celstisa knew that Lily had to make a cover up story so she pretended to be Petunia Evans's sister. Her 'parents' in that world love her so much they raised her as there own when Lily was in the other world. Celestia knows that Lily told her husband James Potter of her true identity after the to of them got married. Then here Celestia is. Looking at her older sister's child and mourning of her death.

Celestia now knows why Victoria as her name is an alicorn Because before Lily left to go to the other she was an alicorn. Celestia also noticed that Victoria had brown eyes and Lily's red hair Celestia guess that the brown eyes were from Lily's husband James Potter.

"So you're going to keep her?" The royal guard asked as Celestia seemed forgot that the salon was there.

"Yes, I expected the room to be ready for her." Celestia told the guard then asked, "Did she come with anything?"

"Only a blanket your majesty." The guard said.

"Keep the blanket," Celestia said as the guard nodded.

Once Victoria's room was ready Celestia put her to bed.

"I promise Victoria that I will protect you," Celestia said. "I promise!"

As the years passed Victoria grew into as brilliant filly. Though Victoria never made any friends which Victoria knew worried her aunt Celestia.

Victoria was out in the castle gardens. She was walking around as Aunt Celestia thought it would be good for her to get fresh air.

"Aww, I want to study you." Victoria heard a voice. She turns around and saw a filly with a purple mane and it looked like she had a few sparkles as a cutie mark. Victoria's cutie mark was a few swirls put together. "Stay still."

"Its a butterfly silly. It can't stay still." Victoria told her.

"Buts it's fascinating and I want to study," The filly said.

Then the butterfly moved as the filly tried to catch it.

Victoria kindly used a spell to get it to stay still for her. After the other filly studies the butterfly a bit she looked back at Vitoria.

"Thank you for helping me here." The other filly said. "I'm Twilight Sparkle."

Victoria nodded. "Victoria Potter."

"Your majesty," Twilight said with a bow.

"Please call me Victoria or Vic that is what aunt Celestia calls me when we are alone," Victoria told her.

"Ok. Sorry about how I wasn't paying attention. My Fill sister always tells me that I should make friends." Twilight said.

Victoria looked at her. Did she just make her first friend?

"Friends?" Victoria asked.

"Friends!" Twilight said back as the to fills just laugh.

After the to of them spent the rest of the time talking about magic and their families. Twilight mention how she had an older brother who is in gaurd training to become a royal guard. Victoria told her about her parents and how she came into Celestia's care.

"Twilly!" They both heard a voice as Twilight looked back at Victoria.

"That's my brother gotta go," Twilight said as she looked back at Victoria. "Bye."

"Bye, Twilight," Victoria called back as she watches her first friend leave.
