***Hello, everyone! This is actually a complete rewrite; the first time I tried to write this chapter, I didn't like it at all, so I went back to square one and here I am. Sebastian and Ciel belong to Yana Tolboso (still unsure of spelling, I apologize), a certain character you'll meet shortly belongs to me, and let's go!

Chapter One: Welcome Back

Knock-knock-knock-knock-knock.

"Come in," Ciel called, looking over some quite mundane paperwork. Since Sebastian was next to him, pouring him the afternoon tea, it had to have been one of the household servants. At least, that was what he thought.

But those thoughts were out the window when the doors actually opened. Standing there, in a full suit with a deep purple tie, was a stranger. A woman, perhaps in her twenties, with pale skin and long black hair that hung loose. Her bangs hung in her face, covering her eyes. Gloves concealed her hands.

"Hello, little lord," she said, her voice soft and deep.

"Who are you and why are you in my manor?" Ciel snapped. "Be nicer, please," the woman said with a slight smirk. "Sebastian, get the intruder out," Ciel ordered.

"She looks a bit familiar, my lord," Sebastian commented as he walked over to her. "Perhaps if I could see your eyes, miss, that would help a bit with identifying who you are before I escort you out..."

When he brushed the woman's hair to the side and looked, his usual pokerface turned to total shock. "Kira..." he breathed.

"Kira? You know this girl? Sebastian, what sort of double identity do you hide from me?!" Ciel snapped. "Of course I know her, my lord. This is Kira Michaelis. My..." Sebastian took a moment to let the words untangle themselves from how stuck they were in his throat.

"...she is my daughter."

Now, that nearly caused Ciel to stroke out from shock, then and there. "Hi," Kira said casually. She then showed glowing, red eyes through her bangs.

She was a demon after all, and with the resemblance in the hair color and skin tone, she definitely kin to Sebastian. But when her eye glow died down, her eyes weren't brown. They were as blue as the oceans.

"But who is the mother?" Ciel asked. "Is that answer something you demand to know?" Sebastian replied. It was clear that this was something he didn't really want to get into. "Yes. I order you to tell me about Kira and her other parent," Ciel restated.

Sebastian let out an exhale through his nose; a discreet sigh of exasperation at having to do this. "Maybe I'll get a chair for this one," was Kira's only comment as she sat on the edge of Ciel's desk.

This was going to be one hell of a story.

***I know that this chapter was short. But I hope to have the next one up soon, and for those of you who are fond of Grell, I'm also in the midst of writing a one-shot about him. Anyways, be sure to leave a review on the way out, and I'll see you all in the next one! Bye!
