Alex is gay, but none of her family know that she is gay and wants to tell them but is afraid. All her siblings know, but they don't support her and call her names. Her mom as been asking her whether she has a boyfriend and she always try to avoid the question and knows that lying is wrong, but doesn't have the courage to tell her mom and dad.
Alex: I love that I am gay, but everyone in my family knows except my mom and dad
Sam: It's ok you could always do it on social media
Alex: true I can do it now while I have time
Sam: ok
Alex then decides to use her facebook to come out and everyone on her facebook who is her friend say a lot of positive things to her. When her mom and dad found out they are not happy and start to judge her.
Mom: can't believe she did that to us
Dad: we can't just be rude to her babe
Mom: i don't give a shit i'm so done with this goodnight
Dad: ok good night
Alex: hey dad can we talk please just the two of us
Dad: sure what's going on
Alex: i don't understand why mom hates me
Dad: she doesn't understand and needs to process it for a few hours
Alex: sure whatever I give up i'm leaving see you
Dad: you don't have to leave it will ok
Alex: i'm still leaving
She decides to leave and walks out. Her dad tries to stop her but she has already left. He decides to try to sleep, but has a lot on his mind.
Dad: I can't believe she left wow
Mom: she is going to come I know it
Dad: she won't she is mad at you and now at me
Mom: I shouldn't have said what I said at all
Dad: No you didn't how to react to her being gay
Mom: I should have controlled myself, but when she comes to being gay on internet instead of coming out to us it is hard
Dad: she should have but she couldn't due to the fact that she thought we would have screamed at her and kick her out of the house
Mom: I would have just talked to her about it
Dad: it's more a trust thing with her
Mom: it's hard when it's your only child and now she is growing up fast
After they talk, they go to where Alex is. Alex is at Sam's house living there and they are watching a movie and chilling out.
Alex: hey mom and dad come in
Mom: we just want to talk can we talk
Alex: yeah go ahead
Dad: we just want you to know that is ok to be gay and that we will accept you
Alex: I know, but I feel more comfortable here not a home
Mom: honey you can home with us, but we won't harm you or anything
Dad: that's fine just know we love you and that you can come home with me
Alex: thanks I love you too bye mom and dad
Sam: Now that they left let's have a coming out party tonight
Alex: I'm all done for it woooooooo!
