Shepard took his steps and pulled out his gun, he then started to shoot the crucible, he remembered all who's been with him since the beginning Joker, Garrus, and Tali, he hesitated a bit when he thought of her, they both have been by each others side in more ways than one since the beginning, ever since Garrus told Shepard on the original Normandy, Shepard had told Garrus that he liked her as well but didn't want to risk her health and Garrus said "if we all die tommorow would you rather have spent as much time with her as possible or not at all?" Shepard spent a lot of time with that question and he mustered up the courage to ask Tali if they could hang out on the citadel when they get shore leave she thinking nothing of it accepted there Shepard took her shopping for new equipment and got some other stuff for the rest of the ground team then took her out to eat, where they'd allow Quarians however, when they arrived at one restaurant the waiter asked if he was dining alone Shepard said "No she's with me" and gestured to Tali and the waiter said that there's no Quarians allowed and Shepard said "What a shame if you'd allow Quarians here then your buissnes would boom, especially since the first human spectre would've been here" then Shepard walked away, the waiter was stunned "Wait! we'll make this one exception!" but Shepard kept on walking, that place closed that following week some say the reason that place went out of business was because of Shepard, they then found a restaurant that accepted Quarians and after they had dinner and the artificial sun of the Presidium went down as they started to head back to the Normandy Shepard asked Tali about her pilgrimage and what would happen if she would ever fall in love with someone during it, Tali then became quite nervous and said that when she went back said person wouldn't be able to join the fleet since the person wasn't a Quarian and they'd most likely not see each other for years and the only time that they would, would be on a mission somewhere, she then asked why, she then started to wring her hands and Shepard said that he knows that she liked him, she locked up with fear and she began to try to apologise because she knows it goes against Alliance rules and hope that it doesn't change their friendship, Shepard then chuckled and told her he liked her too, she stopped and said 'oh' but then she began to list what might go wrong if they were to get into a relationship and Shepard said "if we all die tommorow would you rather have spent as much time as possible with me or not at all?" She thought on it and she said "I'd like to have spent as much as possible with you" she said they then hugged and that was the beginning of their relationship, now 4 years later he was here about to destroy the Reapers, as the tears start to fall from his eyes he shoots and shoots and shoots and then he gets engulfed in a giant explosion, Shepard then feels shaking and he opens his eyes he's... inside a Mako? He sees Garrus, Anderson, and under his arm is Tali, 'not the best time to be lucid dreaming' he thought then the Mako came to an abrupt halt and they get out and see the beam to the citadel, Admeral Hackett came on the comms "Harbinger just made a complete 180 turn going towards your location and he's coming in fast get to the citadel ASAP!" Shepard then stepped forward and said "Alright every one this is it! This is all or nothing! If we don't make it then I want you all to know" he then stood at attention and saluted "it was an honor serving with you all" he turned and yelled "GO!" They all began running to the beam and when he got half way Shepard looked at the sky and saw yellow light coming from the clouds that covered London, Shepard yelled "MOVE! HARBINGER IS COMING DOWN RIGHT NOW!" Shepard turned around to see where Garrus and Tali are, they look to be about 50 feet away, he waited for them whilst ushering them forwards, when they got past him he could see Harbinger's legs poking out from the clouds he started to run again and when they hit the conduits base Harbinger finnaly landed, Shepard made sure that Garrus and Tali both went through and right as he jumped into the beam Harbinger fired his laser.
