Heyo lovely readers! It's me, pokemonfan 180, just changed my name ;) you can call me azure now!
So, I realise I took a huge break. Not a break, almost a leave! Well, I lost all inspirations to write anything because I felt I'm not good enough and also because my stories were all just a bunch of stupid words and never made sense. My interest turned to photo editing and I'm pretty good at it now! I almost had a heart to delete my account but then after some positive reviews about some of my stories and some extra time, I decided to come back up!
I kept writing when I got time, you can check my Wattpad @starwriter25 for my stories. It's not much Pokemon there, it's more K-pop-ey over there. Much more of my stories are on my amino app account. If you use it, you can check my profile. More to be updated on Wattpad.
Now I'm back with a story! Remember I wrote one named "We the entrepreneurs" and then deleted it. I thought of it a different way and I'm writing it again. It would be leafgreenshipping and pokeshipping this time and a similar storyline of the girls getting to work for the boys, except this time it would be 'forced recruitment'! You'll know what that means once you'll read it. I also plan on coming up with small oneshots about other shippings so look forward to them too!
So, it's time I cut the chit-chat and give you a little intro to this story! I'm sure you'll realise how much I've improved in my writing skills once you start reading. I'm not the best, but I've improved! _
TRYING TO BE YOURS
SUMMARY: A series of events including diseases, drugs, and alcohol forces Misty and Leaf to work for Ash and Gary respectively, must to their disinterest. But you know how a guy and a girl can't always remain only friends/haters. Something is bound to happen! And you know what!
CHARACTERS: Gary Oak, Ash Ketchum, Professor Oak, Mrs. Ketchum, Leaf Green and Misty.

"It's ok Misty, that's sort of inevitable! It happens at times once you are very much over-worked and still not taking proper rest. Your brain needs as much rest as your body. Don't worry though, just eat the medicines I prescribed to you and you'll be fine within four-to-five days, okay!"
"Alright! Well, I never got to actually thank you Leaf. Thank you so much doctor Leaf Green, you're amazing. You don't realise how great it is to have a doctor friend, it's a great help all the time!"
"That's really fine Misty, I'm just doing my job! Now I have one appointment in a few minutes, so I better prepare myself! Goodbye, I'll talk to you later!"
"Yep, take care!"
And Leaf hung up. Leaf was a psychiatrist now, and she was quickly rising at the top, because of her witty solutions. It's not like she was different than other psychiatrists, but she was able to bond up faster with the people, and she was one of the only few in Kanto and the hospital she worked in was located at the border of pallet town and Viridian city, so no doubt, she recieved a lot of patients and was being a great help.
People used to visit her from the nearby cities and because she was also certified for Pokemon psychology, she was bringing up great convenience for the young Pokemon trainers.
Her next patient came in and she treated them with a big smile on her face.
Misty hung up and immediately went to her kitchen to take the medicines out and filled a glass of water. She is the gym leader of Cerulean gym now and it's no doubt she is tired. She also owns a swimming school now and all this tires her out daily. And not to mention how her pride has been stopping her from taking her headache medicines.
She's never behaved like this, just that she couldn't get herself to eat the medicines. She kept telling herself that she is strong and all that, but her sisters told her that she is looking really worn out recently. Since when did her sisters care about her though?
About her sisters, they were sensational as always! Instead they were doing shows outside Kanto these days, rarely coming back home, much to Misty's relief. Her sisters's presence annoys her now that she sees them so less.
After taking her medicines she decided to take a nap, so she closed her gym early and also asked all the young kids to come back the next day, closing down the swimming class as well. She went upstairs to her room, and then threw herself on the bed, sleeping immediately after that.
"It's not a physician, but a psychiatrist that he needs now professor!" The doctor in his mid-fifties said to the spiky-haired man.
He absorbed the information and then gave his limp grandpa a look. Who knew the great Samuel Oak would have such a great fall. With the work stress and anxieties piling up in his heart, he didn't care about his sleep at all and one day slipped down the staircase, injuring his elderly spinal cord and losing all motor skills. He remained in coma for three months and now as he's wide awake, he has distant eyes and is unable to do anything. He also forgot how to talk!
And guess what! He himself just doesn't have the time to take care of him and now he needs a maid-... Uh.. a psychiatrist!
"Thank you so much for your help doctor! I'll see what I can do!" Gary shook hands with the physician and took hold of his grandfather's wheelchair and dragged him down where his car was waiting. He somehow managed to get him seated on the car seat, stuffed the wheelchair into back and drove off, wondering where to get a psychiatrist from, who would agree to stay home 24/7.
"Well, guess what Pikachu!?" The jet black haired man asked his yellow rodent mate. Pikachu looked upto him in confusion.
"MY GYM IS READY!!!" He exclaimed joyfully! After becoming a Pokemon master, his only desire was to open a gym and help young Pokemon trainers to help improve. His gym would not only be just a gym for a badge, but also a full training camp, and he would be the one training young kids coming out of pallet or Viridian city, since both these cites don't have a gym or a title to give out.
It's time I go home now! He thought to himself happily. His mother's face coming in his mind. It's been 11 years since he last saw her and he wonders if she has wrinkles on her skin.
He locked the doors to his gym proudly, the owner of the Pallet badge now. Yes that's the name! Pallet badge is just to signify that the wearer has finally bonded with his starter Pokemon, since his gym is close-by to professor Oak's lab and he gives starters. Speaking of the new professor Oak, he wonders how Gary is doing.
The walk back home is a half-hour walk and with his mind occupied, it felts like five minutes and he was home. Excited, he clicked the bell to his house and waited for it to open.
Mr. Mime's voice filled the atmosphere, asking who's there. Strange, because if his mother was home, it would have been her. Considering maybe she went out for shopping, he simply replied saying that 'he's back home' and mime soon opened the door. He smiled brightly till his ear and hugged him, saying how Ash is taller now. But then his facial expression turned into one of horror.
Ash's eyebrows were pulled down in confusion and he peeped inside, seeing his house which looked like a complete mess. There was one junior mime working hard to clean everything, sweat covering his whole body.
"Where did mom go and who did all this?" Was all Ash could say.
