Author's Note: This is the first and l time I'm doing a Disclaimer so enjoy it( How do you enjoy a disclaimer?). This is the first chapter of my fan fiction so enjoy ;)
" Akimitsu hurry up, dinner is ready!" A gentle female voice called out towards the forest amplifying it so her brother could hear. Akimitsu, recognizing this voice, stopped chasing the bird he was following and turned back towards his home.
While running towards it he tripped and fell a couple of times causing cuts and bruises to appear all over his legs and arms, but he didn't mind, he was used to how sensitive his body was.
In a few more minutes Akimitsu broke through the treeline to a small clearing where he and his sister lived together in a cabin. The cabin wasn't really anything, it was just a small and simple had a large garden next to it with a variety of different flowers, roses, daisies, orchids and peonies took over most of it though. One way the siblings earned money was by selling these flowers every week to the village of Konoha.
Akimitsu entered the home and was flooded with the smell of multiple spices and food. His sister was in the kitchen preparing food on a small wooden table.
She had long braided red hair and soft brown skin that matched her warm, enchanting brown eyes. Her eyes were even more enchanting when you notice the small beauty marks next to her right eye.
" I'm here Akane!" Akimitsu spoke up seeing how focused she was on preparing the meal. Akane glanced up and smiled at him.
" Go wash your hands before you eat." Akane told Akimitsu before returning to the food, almost done.
Akimitsu responded with a quick nod before going into their bathroom where he washed his hands. They had a storage of water that needed to be refilled every week but it always worked out in the end.
The siblings didn't have much money but they had their house and a weekly allowance of 2,000 ryo (This is like 200 dollars) from the village. They also earn about 5,000 ryo from selling flowers. This was able to get them some things but very minimal.
However the two of them were going to move into Konoha for two main reasons. One of them was that Akimitsu was enrolling into the village's ninja academy. The second reason was that Akimitsu and Akane both agreed that they couldn't live there anymore.
" Mmmm this is delicious Akane!" Akimitsu said in between his bites from the rice and meat stew provided to him.
His sister smiled and told Akimitsu, " You haven't tasted good food unless you tasted mom's Mitsu."Akimitsu just looked at her with the same warm brown eyes they share, smiling,
" Was it really that good Big Sis?" He asked.
She smiled one more time before nodding her head to confirm her previous statement and then started to eat her own food seeing as she was distracted by her brother.
When Akimitsu and Akane finished with their food they said good night and Akimitsu went to their room. Akane sighed and started to clean up the dishes and then she decided to pack her things knowing she would sleep in late for the move tomorrow.
The next day,
Akimtsu woke up and stretched his arms yawning on his bed. He looked around and saw his sister on the bed opposite from Akimitsu snoring lightly. This didn't affect Akimitsu much seeing how she always slept in.
Akimitsu then got off his bed and took his clothes from a small storage box, he started to change. His outfit was the same as yesterday being a striped blue and white sleeveless hoodie and khaki shorts with big pockets. Knowing that he was going to need to pack his stuff he put some of his possessions in a small briefcase. This included a carving kit, a game of shogi and multiple clothes with his utensils.
Once finished packing he then left the room, then the cabin to play outside.
After playing outside for about 3 hours Akimitsu's stomach started growling and he headed back home with even more scratches than he had yesterday.
Akimtsu took a shower before he went back to the kitchen but was starving, only to see his sister up and making eggs.
"Akane you're awake!" He exclaimed with an obvious tint of surprise.
"Mitsu, why didn't you wake me up earlier," Akane groaned, " We only have time for you to eat and me to freshen up and that's it before we go." Akimitsu smiled nervously and said his sorries, and after that the both of them started doing what Akane said they had time to do before leaving.
Once leaving home the two siblings took a faint path before it intermerged with the main path to Konoha. Akimitsu and Akane walked through the path , quiet because they didn't have anything to say. In fact seeing them talk with each other would be somewhat rare but they still loved each other and had a stable relationship.
As they trekked, the rustle of their matching jackets was probably the only thing heard as they walked on a path continuously.
Suddenly Akimitsu looked up and saw the village gate a couple yards away from them. He told this to Akane and the two started picking up their pace to the gate.
They saw a young man with a Konoha headband over his left eye. He was fairly built with white, spiky hair and a mask that covered most of his face. He had a grey armored vest and had black pants leaving his arms almost bare but he had long gloves and arm guards.
Once he glanced at Akane and Akimitsu he shuffled over to them somewhat confusing the two.
"Hello, my name is Kakashi Hatake and I was tasked with bringing two to the Third so please follow me." he said with a voice that Akane and Akimitsu both felt frustration from. As he walked away the two siblings followed him both examining him thoroughly. Kakashi could sense this and it freaked him out alot, 'Why do their eyes feel so judging?' He thought to himself but continued the walk regardless.
Akimitsu and Akane picked up at this thought and quickly looked away, embarrassed that they were caught.
After a couple of minutes they arrived at a street where an old man and a little boy were waiting for the group to arrive.
The man was the third hokage who took his position back after the death of the fourth hokage. He had a small gray goatee and many wrinkles on his face. He was holding a pipe and was wearing a long red and white robe that most kage wore as a formality.
The boy was around Akimitsu's age and had blond spiky hair with blue eyes. He wore a white shirt and some shorts and looked very excited for some strange reason.
The group met with the pair and the old man said thanks to Kakashi who left the group almost immediately. Other than that the old man greeted Akimitsu and Akane with a warm smile.
" Hello you Akane, Akimitsu, I see you made here safely, wonderful." The man said with a warm smile.
" It wasn't all that bad sir but we should thank you for giving us a place to stay." Akane bowed to the man who just smiled.
"Anyways the place you'll be staying in is a two bedroom and two bathroom apartment but with one condition I hope you really don't mind."
" What?" Akimitsu jumped into the conversation now intrigued.
That's when the blond boy jumped in front of Akimitsu, "You'll be living with me, dattebayo! My name is Naruto Uzumaki nice to meet ya!"
He made Akimitsu jump which led to the old man chuckling and taking a drag from his pipe, " Naruto is also an orphan and he doesn't really have friends so I figured you could live together. That's also the reason there are two bathrooms."
This brought a little frown to Akane's face but she turned to Naruto with a smile, " Nice to meet you Naruto, hope we can be good friends." after saying that she turned her attention back to the Hokage.
" Hi, I-i'm Akimitsu!" Akimitsu exclaimed, still recovering from the other boy's energy overwhelming him.
This brought another smile to the Hokage's face 'Looks like you gave him a good first impression of you, huh Naruto.' The old man laughed inside his head.
"Why don't you show Akimitsu to the apartment Naruto, I need to talk with Akane for a bit." Hiruzen asked Naruto, tossing him the keys.
Naruto obliged and grabbed Akimitsu's hand running down the street towards the building they would be living in together. The quick grab made Akimitsu stumble for a while being still overwhelmed by this but recovered and quickly sped ahead Naruto.
It took a while but seeing as Akimitsu was faster than him he suddenly called out, " It's the building in the middle of some type of town square."
Akimitsu listened to Naruto's directions and ran faster leaving Naruto in the dust until he reached the destination.
It took awhile for Naruto to catch up but he did not lose an ounce of energy.
"You're fast, you know that?" Naruto told Akimitsu.
"I run alot, so anyways can we go into the apartment?" Akimitsu asked and Naruto led him to Akimitsu's new home. When inside Naruto pointed simple things like "my room" and "your room" which made the sudden tour very simple.
That is if Akimitsu didn't question everything that Naruto had to say. Naruto did have a big mouth but these answers went beyond his limits.
Naruto was annoyed by this but he couldn't say anything seeing how much he coughed and his voice losing all sound.
"Anyways," Naruto started with a quiet squeaky voice, " What do you like to do? I enjoy gardening and *cough**cough* pulling pranks on people."
" I like exploring, pottery and carving things. When I don't want to do these I play shogi." Akimitsu replied and one question later Naruto was introduced to the game in a hitch.
Fifteen minutes after this, the third Hokage and Akane entered the apartment to see Akimitsu and Naruto playing a game of shogi that Akimitsu brought along with him.
" And I win." Akimitsu declared using his promoted bishop to capture Naruto's king.
The Hokage coughed to get some attention which was immediately given which meant the boys as well, "Well it's time I leave for my work but I have some gifts for you all."
Hearing the word "gifts" Naruto and Akimitsu immediately rushed over to the old man He walked over to Naruto and gave him some type of ticket which brought stars to Naruto's eyes, "It's a year of free Ramen at Ichiraku ticket dattebayo! Thank you old man!" Naruto shouted, recovering his voice back somehow.
When the Hokage came to Akimitsu he gave him a set of custom kunai. The kunai was a bit longer and wider then regular kunai but it had a cool flower design. The hilt also had the design but with a dark leather grip.
" This was your father's favorite type of kunai, carved by himself." the old man told Akimitsu, he then gave him some shuriken, " That's for the academy, Naruto already got his so don't give him any, he loses almost everything."
" What are you talking about, old man?!" Naruto pouted which made everyone give him a slight laugh. Akimitsu finished laughing and faced the Hokage once again, " Thanks a lot old man."
"Old man? Naruto why are you such a bad influence?" The Hokage faced Naruto with a stern glare.
However Naruto was already back to the shogi board messing up the pieces.
"Hey what are you doing Naruto?!" Akimitsu exclaimed going back towards the game.
The Third Hokage smiled then turned to Akane and handed her a box, "They're getting along, wouldn't you agree? But besides that, here's your gift."The hokage handed Akane a box.
Akane opened the box and saw a white marble necklace and bracelet, 'These are amazing.' she thought before focusing back on the Hokage, "Thank you sir." as she bowed slightly to him.
" It's all right, your parents, specifically your mother, seeing as they were her's, would want you to have these, and you don't have to be so formal to me."
"Okay." Akane said before saying goodbye to the old man.
The trio of orphans spent the whole day playing shogi with each other having fun. At first Akimitsu kept on beating Naruto because he sucked at the game and Akimitsu knew what was in his head occasionally.
After Akane finished setting up her and Akimitsu's room she decided to see how the boys were doing. Seeing as Akimitsu was beating the crap out of a now determined but failing Naruto she decided to help him a bit.
During the middle of a match Akane went to Naruto's side and gave him a couple of tips. Naruto looked up at Akane and really got to see her for the first time seeing as he was first only interested in Akimitsu.
'Wow, she's so pretty.' Naruto thought in his head with a warm blush on his face. Akimitsu read his mind and noticed that Naruto kept focusing on Akane instead of the game. Akimitsu didn't know if this was a bad thing or not and continued to play but harder since Akane was there.
He never was able to beat Akane and the hints she gave to Naruto gave him a hard time, making him lose his winning streak.
At around five o'clock Akane got up from her position and looked down at the two boys, " What do you guys want for dinner?"
Naruto was the first one to answer, " Let's use my ticket to get some ramen dattebayo!"
Akane looked at Akimitsu and he just shrugged.
After the small little vote(if you can even call it that) the trio took some of their stuff and followed Naruto to a small ramen shop where they took their seats.
A jolly man walked over and wore a smile when he saw the group, "Ahh, Naruto, how are you doing, are those the people who moved in with you?" He gestured to Akimitsu and Akane.
"I'm good old man Ichiraku," Naruto replied, "and yes these two moved in with me, meet Akimitsu and Akane." Followed up was an excited hello from Akimitsu and a more plain hi from Akane.
" I'll order the usual!" Naruto concluded the greetings as the man took his order and asked the others what they wanted.
"We'll have what Naruto has." Akane answered for Akimitsu and herself.
"Okay 3 misu ramen with extra pork coming right up!" The old said before preparing the ramen.
" All right now that we ordered our food I want to learn more about you guys. I only Know that you guys are gods at shogi and Akimitsu likes exploring other stuff. So other than shogi what do you like to do Akane?" Naruto asked.
" I don't really have free time but I like gardening and reading. Also enjoy the woods at night." Akane said.
"Cool, I also like gardening and I also pull pranks on almost everyone." Naruto said with a mischievous grin which somewhat scared Akimitsu and Akane.
Akimitsu also had a question in mind and asked it, " So how are you an orphan?"
Naruto was slightly taken back by this and frowned but decided to answer, "I was born with no family. The old man only tells me that they probably died from the Nine-Tails attack."
Akimitsu and Akane felt bad seeing as it looked like that Naruto didn't get past it, "Our parents were killed in a battle too but we heard they sacrificed themselves for the greater good. I didn't know them but Akane did." Akimitsu told the blond in a concerned way.
Naruto sensed this concern and felt tears moisten his eyes. At that moment however the ramen was placed in front of them and Naruto rubbed his eyes, " All right! Enough talk, let's eat!"
The ramen was able to lift everyone's spirits as they continued to talk with each other as they ate teaching them more about each other.
At the end of their meal the owner which they knew as Teuchi then asked for the payment waiting for a ton of profit after Naruto's eating spree.
"Oh yeah, I forgot old man Icharaku but I have a year of free ramen ticket." Naruto said while taking it out from his pocket.
Teuchi when seeing this face palmed in despair, 'Why did I ever make that ticket a thing?'.
Akimitsu and Akane heard the man's despairing thoughts and laughed together. This further confused him as he continued crying in his head and confused Naruto too. Naruto then saw the shape of Teuchi and joined in the laughter. After a couple more laughs the trio decided to head back home.
An hour later,
Naruto's room
Naruto was laying on his bed thinking about the events of the day with a happy smile on his face. 'Ah man that was fun, I have a friend now. I think I might be able to get used to this and Akimitsu's questions. And Akane, amazing Akane,' that's when Naruto remembered how Akimitsu was staring at him a bit when Akane came, during the shogi games today.
With that in mind Naruto thought of a demon torturing him with Akimitsu's face. Naruto immediately went to the side of his bed and started praying for forgiveness. He would not be getting any sleep tonight.
Meanwhile,
Akimitsu and Akane's room
"Hey Akane, how was your walk?" Akimitsu asked Akane hearing the opening of their door while focusing on carving designs on his shuriken based on his kunai.
"It was good Akimitsu, how's the carving."Akane replied, getting on her bed.
As an answer Akimitsu just yawned, "Should've done it in the afternoon." Akimitsu said stopping his work and getting on his bed.
" And Akimitsu, do you want to know what the Hokage said to me?"
"Yeah sure, what was it?" Akimitsu responded, backed up with yet another yawn.
" The nine tails, the thing that our parents died fighting is sealed within Naruto."Akane looked at her brother for a sign of emotion.
" But it's not like he is the beast."
"Yeah, you're right" But Akimitsu was already asleep to hear her words.
The next Morning,
Akimitsu woke up at around six o'clock and looked around his room already full of energy. He went to his window and saw the sun peeking out just a little bit inthe dark sky.
This was not unusual to him seeing as he always woke up at this time. He usually would play in the forest before showering but it would be tedious to go through the village then enter the forest.
Sighing, Akimitsu went to his bathroom and took a relaxing shower that took around thirty minutes before changing into his clothes. Today he was wearing a brown hoodie with blotches of autumn colors on it and similar shorts than last time.
Before leaving his room Akimitsu picked up the shuriken he was working on yesterday and brought it to the living room to work on. He didn't need breakfast as he wasn't that hungry and he focused on carving.
When finished with the first shuriken he leaned back and admired his work then thought about yesterday and it made him smile, 'I think i'm going to like it here.'
Author's Note: I hope all of you readers enjoyed my fanfic's first chapter. This was heavily inspired by thinking of an OC that is somewhat like me. I also did this because I love a fanfic called True Potential that you will love.
I also want to prove that minors can be good writers because most writers on this website are majors.(Please don't go questioning my age) Next chapter is coming next friday. Please give me criticism so I can improve and also keep track of this Fanfiction because in later chapters I will ask you guys questions so you influence the story so bye.
