Summary: Suspicious events happen overday at Hotel Transylvania. James and the Dracula's need to figure out who's doing this.
Today in Hotel Transylvania, James, Dracula, and Johnny were hanging out in the lobby when suddenly, Johnny's mother walked with some young girl and a bunch of suitcases.
"Welcome to Hotel Transylvania. Don't worry about the bags one of the monsters will get them." Linda said.
Johnny ran up and grabbed one of them. "Aw yeah Suitcase Sled!" Johnny said before pushing the suitcase away.
Dracula and James got up as Erica walked into the place.
"I bet you remember my sweet niece Chloe." Linda said.
"No, but would your evil niece Chloe like to introduce her to us?" Erica said, earning a high five from James, then crossing her arms.
"She's staying for the weekend. Give her a room with a great view. Here you go." Linda said walking through the hotel, then passing a dollar to Dracula.
"This is money from a board game." Dracula said.
"And there's plenty more where that came from." Linda laughed out.
James raised an eyebrow.
"Is this the type of stuff you have to deal with?" James asked Erica.
"Tell me about it." She replied.
"Don't worry about me, you won't even know I'm here. I just want to spend some quality time with my family." Chloe said.
"Pft, you're not fooling us Chloe, you act all nice until your aunt's gone then you go off to trip roller skaters and sell ice packs to the injured." Dracula said.
"My sweet niece would never do that. Everyone knows the roller rink is my turf." Linda said.
Vlad, Dennis, and Mavis then walked in. "I heard Chloe was here." Vlad said.
"Are the protection devices active?" Mavis asked
"Oh nice to see you guys. Come on, help me get her room ready." Linda said walking off.
"Yeah. Be right there." Vlad said before turning into a bat and flying off.
"So, this is the monster you guys told me about. What did she do, not invite you to her tea party." Dennis said then laughing.
Chloe laughed. "Keep laughing and I'll break those twigs you call arms." Chloe said.
"Whoa whoa whoa these are the twigs of a monster." Dennis said leading to a slience.
"What?" Dennis asked.
"What's you game Chloe? Why are you really here?" Erica asked walking around her.
"Gotta lay low till the heat blows over. Got sloppy on my last job back at home."
"What'd you do this time?" Dracula asked.
"Till the witness wakes up, nothing. So stay out of my way, and I'll stay out of yours." Chloe said before walking away.
Everyone looks at her. "Is Sinning safe in your family?" James asked.
Everyone looked at him.
"What? You're monsters. I assume that was okay." He said.
Dracula checked his pockets. "Hey, she took my wallet." Dracula said before flying away to get her. Then, without realizing, he was handcuffed with Erica, and he fell down.
Dennis and James laughed. "Oh, man, she owned you guys again." Dennis said before falling down, realizing his feet were chained up.
"Can someone explain this?" Mavis asked as she was chained to the wall.
The next night, everyone woke up, in Mavis's room because they all hanged out there last night.
Once everyone woke up, including James. They were all eating breakfast.
"Another day for a better place." James said.
"Well this day's already ruined because of that stupid pun." Mavis said.
As Johnny got into his slippers, he heard a crack from under him. "Uh guys, I just stepped on broken glass." Johnny said.
"Things are looking up already." Vlad said.
James and Mavis went to check on him. They saw a tablet.
Mavis picked it up. "Wait, Dennis's tablet. Someone's been in here. Dad, go check on Dennis!" Mavis said.
Dracula entered Dennis's room.
"Dennissovich, wake up!" Dracula said.
"Ah!" Dennis screeched.
"Did you hear anything last night? Someone broke in." Dracula said to his vampson.
"No, but I am a really deep sleeper. Huh, I cannot tell you how many times I've woken up on the walls." Dennis said.
"This had to be Chloe." Erica said.
"Wow, you got schooled by a toddler again?" Dennis said.
"She broke your tabet." James said.
Dennis grabbed James's collar in an instant. "Bring her to me." Dennis said.
Less than a moment later, Vlad came back with Chloe. "Wow. You're fast. Homely, but fast." Chloe said to Vlad.
"We know what you did." Mavis said.
"Yeah, that thing with the handcuffs. You've been going to magic school." Johnny said.
Everyone looked at him funny. "You're gonna replace everything you stolen or broke." Dracula said.
"I didn't do it." Chloe said trying to run away.
"Hey! You're not going anywhere!" James said.
"AUNT LINDA!" She yelled out.
James screamed. "Did it occur to you that some of us have special hearing?" He said.
"Nope, but good to know. AUNT LINDA!" James screamed then passed out on the floor when Chloe said that.
Linda came into the room. "What's all the screaming about? I didn't have time to put my face on." She said.
"Wait, that thing's removable?" Dennis said.
"Your precious little niece ransacked the place." Vlad said.
"I don't know what they mean Aunt Linda. I was sound asleep, dreaming of cute little kittens, when I was ripped out of bed by a Gremlin."
"How dare you accuse my sweet little angel? Me, I get. But her? Impossible. I can prove she's innocent. We'll just check the security footage." Linda said.
Once everyone was in the control room, and James woke up, they checked the monitor and it was nothing but a blank screen. "The monitor's broken. I can't pull up the security footage." James said.
"It's okay, I can fix anything." Linda said before pushing a button. "Wait don't!" Dracula said before it shut off.
"Well that didn't work." Mavis said sarcastically.
"Can you gals let me finish? It's not working because Someone fried up the server. That means all the cameras are down." James said.
"You destroyed the evidence didn't you?" Dracula said.
"Guys! Get in here quick!" They heard Dennis call out.
They all ran to Dennis who was in the kitchen. When they entered, the place was a complete wreck.
"What do you have to say for yourself now, Chloe?" Dennis said.
"That you people are slobs?" She said.
"Look, your niece is toying with you. The whole sweet and innocent thing, it's an act." James said.
"But I didn't do this." Chloe said.
"Of course you didn't. I'm gonna catch the real culprit even if I have to stay up all day, which will be easy, cause I spent the winter in hibernation." Linda said before walking off with Chloe.
"Your mother goes through hibernation?" Mavis asked to her husband.
"Don't ask." Johnny said.
That very morning, Linda was exploring the hotel with a giant flashlight. She entered the kitchen, back to normal since Dracula fixed it.
She heard a footstep.
"I gotcha. Banzai!" She yelled out.
When she tackled the person, it turned out to be Vlad.
"It's me Vlad."
"Oh, well I'm still not getting up." She said.
Vlad turned into a bat and went back to normal. "What are you doing here?" Linda asked.
"I was just getting a snack 'cause I couldn't sleep." Vlad said holding up a pack of Lemonade Cookies.
"Oh, sorry about that. Get some rest." Linda said.
Vlad grabbed the cookies and walked off.
Linda sighed and grabbed her flashlight.
When she got into the lobby, she spotted someone else.
She turned to them. "You. What are you doing here? No. No!"
A blast took over her eyesight. "Ahhhhhhh!"
That night, Linda was found knocked out.
Dennis, James, Dracula, Johnny, and Mavis ran into the lobby. "What happened?" Dennis said.
"Someone must've attacked her. I was about to check on her, but I need one of you to make sure she's alive, before I get my face too close." Vlad said.
James checked her pulse. "I think she's going to be okay." He said.
"What you're a doctor now?" Johnny said.
"Oh, my head." Linda said.
"Dracula, you and I are going to get her to the infirmary." James said.
"Good idea. Let's put her down Humanely." Dracula said before others came in and got her up.
"I can't believe Chloe would hurt her own aunt just to get away with more crimes." Mavis said.
"That doesn't make sense. What if it's not her?" James said.
"Who would wanna hurt Aunt Linda? Correction, who would actually hurt Aunt Linda?" Dennis said.
"Let's think this through; first Dennis's tablet was damaged. Maybe someone was trying to find classified information but couldn't figure out the password so they tossed it aside. Then, the criminal disabled the security cameras, because they didn't want anyone tracking their movements. When Linda started pursuing them, they probably took her out." James said.
"Guys look!" Dennis said outside.
James, Johnny, and Mavis walked outside to see the bridge gone. "They got rid of the bridge, now we're all trapped!" Dennis said.
"Wait. Those burn marks are from one of you guys. Last time I saw that was when I took him in the forest with the others. Guys...There's a rebel living among us." James said.
Now, Dracula, Johnny, Mavis, Vlad, Erica and James are all behind the front desk of the hotel. Dracula shut the doors so no one can hear them.
"How could there be a rebel here. It's Hotel Transylvania, no one hates us." Mavis said.
"I don't know, but for now, everyone's a suspect." Dracula said.
"You!" Johnny said pointing to James and walking slowly towards him.
"I knew it was you all along." He said.
"I was with you the whole time." James said.
"Me! I knew it was me all alon-" Johnny said before Dracula slapped him.
"Whoever this rebel is can destroy the hotel. I'm not going to let that happen." Dracula said before opening the front desk. "Everyone back to their rooms immediately! We're on lockdown until further notice." He said through a microphone.
"Good idea. We'll keep them there when we can question everyone." Erica said as people left.
A medic and Chloe came in with Linda and placed her on a chair with water. "Good news is, she checked out okay. Bad news is, she checked out okay." The medic said.
"Okay, what happened? Who attacked you?" Johnny asked Linda.
"Oh, I'm still a little foggy, but I remember being on the front lines. Then, out of the darkness, 11 giant guys in helmets started to charge me. No, wait. That was when I ran onto the field during a soccer game." Linda asked.
"That was you? I though that was a mascot." Dracula said.
Linda shrugged.
"So, you seriously don't remember being shot at?" James said.
Linda scoffs. "Look, all I know is that some monster attacked me, literally, and I could really use a hug." Linda said.
Linda pulls out her arms and everyone backs away.
Vlad goes to do it. "No. Can't. Sorry." He said before stepping back.
"Back to the point, we have to stop this rebel, whoever he or she is. We'll split up and patrol the hotel tomorrow morning. Erica and Johnny, check the hidden rooms. Mavis and Vlad, you two patrol the upper floors of the hotel. Me and Dracula will patrol the lobby. Any questions?" James said.
"Yeah, now that you know it wasn't me, is there someone you want to say?" Chloe said.
"Yes." Dracula said.
"Can I please have my wallet back?"
"Look, as soon as sunrise hits, we're on the move. Don't forget to wear two things: sunscreen and and a sunhat." James said.
That morning, Dracula and James explore the lobby. With the vampires wearing the things James told them to wear.
James pulled out a walkie talkie. "9:00 AM. Lobby is clear." James said
"5th floor, all clear." Vlad said.
"It's clear here too." Linda said.
James and Dracula keep on searching. "Johnny, what about my old collection?" Dracula said, mentioning his old collection of artifacts from the past.
"All clear in here." Johnny said while swinging a rapier around.
"Checked outside three times, still clear." Chloe said.
James stopped himself. "Are you texting?" He said.
"No." She said.
"I can hear you!" Jame said before his phone rang.
James picked it up and looked at it.
"James is a jerk?! I think you sent this to the wrong person." He said.
"Nope." She said.
James sighed and switched over to Dennis. "How's the pool area Dennis?" James said, sending Dennis on the mission for extra help. Took some convincing, but it worked. He got no response.
"Dennis. Dennis! Guys, he's not responding. Get to the pool quick!" James said before running to the pool.
Just as James looked around the place. Johnny, Dracula, Mavis, Erica, and Linda showed up to the scene.
"Where is he?" Mavis asked.
"Has anyone seen Dennis?" James asked.
"No!" Everyone said.
Then, they heard a noise coming from the wall.
"Oh no, the hidden rooms!" Dracula said before racing over there, opening the wall and ran in. Followed by everyone else.
"Let's go!" Dracula yelled out.
In the old collection room, there was green fire everywhere.
"I got it!" Jame said before pushing a button on his suit, and he pushed a massive gush of wind and water into the room and the fire vanished.
"That was close. The rebel almost blew up the hotel." Dracula said.
They heard Vlad scream across the radio.
Everyone listened to it as they ran out.
"Of course. It's you. No. No no no, please, don't hurt me." Vlad said before screaming.
"Dad!" Dracula said before racing to find him.
Once they all found him, he was on the ground of the kitchen.
"First Linda, now Vlad. The rebel's trying to take us out one by one. We're officially under attack." James said.
"Oh man really? It's the weekend." Johnny said.
Then, they heard another explosion.
"Another blast?" Mavis said.
"Go. I'll stay here and keep Vlad safe." Linda said.
"Okay. Johnny, Erica you stay here too." Dracula said before he, James, and Mavis ran out.
"Stay with us Vlad, DON'T GO TOWARD THE LIGHT!" Johnny said.
"I gotta be honest. I'm running toward the light." Vlad said.
The trio made it to the lobby as another explosion went off from the front desk.
"The rebel's in the front desk!" Mavis said.
"Oh man, I didn't know we were open 24 hours." Dracula said. "Wait, I run the hotel."
"Let's do this." James said as they walked up. James gave rapiers to the two vampires and had one himself as they stepped closer.
Then, the doors blew open.
The three were pushed back by the blast.
They looked up to see a small figure walking out.
James grabbed his rapier. "Who's there? Show yourself!" James said.
It was revealed to be Dennis, but his eyes were closed.
"Dennis! What is going on?! Who else is in there?" Mavis said as Johnny, Erica, Linda, and Vlad walked in. "No one. Dennis's the one who's been attacking us." Vlad said.
"I knew it. Dennis's the rebel. Who else would wanna take over the hotel?" Johnny said. "Wait, why is Dennis the rebel." He asked.
Dennis fired a green fireball at them. They all ducked and took cover.
Dracula, Mavis, and Vlad turned into bats and hit on the chandeliers while Johnny, Erica, James, and Linda hid behind the furniture.
"What is wrong with him?" Mavis asked.
"He's sleepwalking because his monster side's going haywire. Happened to me and you father all the time when we were his age. Didn't happen to you for some reason. He's not rebelling, he's in a form of trance." Vlad said.
Dennis fired a ball at the chandelier they were on and it fell to the ground.
James picked up an 8 ball table and threw it in front of the hotel doors, blocking out the sunlight, stopping the vampires from getting into it.
They all turned back into their normal forms and hid with the others.
"We need a plan!" Erica said.
"That's it, I'm waking him up." James said.
"No! The sudden stimulation can cause us more problems. Right now, it's hitting the max. If it gets any higher, he'll blow himself up." Vlad said.
"Well then let's do it!" Linda said.
"No!" Said LITTERALLY everyone.
"Well if we don't do something, he'll destroy the hotel!" Dracula said.
"We have to find a way to contain him. Then I can possibly figure out something." James said.
Dennis kept on firing the balls at the furniture.
Everyone ducked for more cover.
Then, it stopped.
James looked up to see him missing.
"He's gone." James said.
Everyone got up and looked for him.
Another explosion went down.
Meanwhile, Chloe was robbing Mavis's room as the others walked in.
"Chloe!" Johnny said.
Chloe dropped her supplies.
"Have you seen Dennis?" He asked.
"Uh, yeah, he went somewhere else." Chloe said.
Everyone ran out of the room.
Chloe went back to her business but Dennis appeared through a vent.
"Dennis." She said.
Dennis walked toward her.
"If you know what's good for you, you'll pretend you never saw this." She said.
Dennis continued to walk them fired out more balls.
Chloe dodged one and walked backwards.
Everyone was searching around the hallways. "How are we going to wake Dennis up without waking him up?" Erica said.
"Oh, I know how to keep him asleep. Just have James talk to him." Mavis said.
James pulled out his phone. "I just sent you a pointedly worded text." He said back.
They all heard a high pitched scream. "That's Chloe's Scream!" Linda said before running in the opposite direction.
Everyone followed.
James kicked the door down. "Don't worry Chloe, we're he-" Linda said before realizing that it was Dennis screaming as Chloe had him pinned to the ground.
"Dennis?" James said.
"Get her off of me!" He said.
Mavis whipped Chloe off him. "What happened?!" He asked.
"You attacked me!" Chloe said.
"What are you talking about. I was sleeping." Dennis said.
"Actually, you were sleepwalking." Dracula said.
"Wait, how did you subdue him without waking him up?" Vlad asked Chloe.
"Oh he woke up. Hit 'em in the right place, they always wake up." Chloe said.
James and Johnny held back a furious Mavis. "Mavis, don't worry. I got this." James said before slapping her in the face.
The next night, James held a curtain behind a small desk. "Behold Dennis, my gift, to you." James said before removing it, revealing a small red headband.
"I don't know what to say...cebause I don't know what it is." Dennis said.
"It's something to stop you from sleepwalking. Every day, just slap this bad boy on, and you'll be fine." James said.
"Thanks. Say, what did I do in my sleep?"
"Oh just cost Dracula a couple hundred bucks in damages and me being forced to buy them a new 8 ball table. But I think we're good otherwise." James said.
"Thanks." Dennis said.
Meanwhile, Chloe was sneaking out with all the stuff she stole when Dennis appeared.
"Going somewhere?" Dennis asked.
"No. See ya!" Chloe said running off. But tripped. Turns out, she was handcuffed by her feet.
"The police will arrive any second now. Say hi to them for me." Dennis said before walking off.
"What? What? No!" Chloe said as she began to hear sirens.
