Hey guys this is the first chapter of the story "Not Exactly A Couple"

What a wonderful Monday morning, the sun rise was as beautiful as can be, and it seemed like a beautiful day to walk to school-wait…school?
Lucy hit the snooze button for her alarm clock for what seemed like the hundredth time, she didn't plan on getting out of bed, she wanted to sleep in as long as she could, what a shame though, she was shaken out of her peaceful slumber when she heard a voice, a voice that was all too familiar to Lucy, the voice belonged to someone named Virgo, Lucy's maid
"Princess…Princess!" seemed to have been the noise that Lucy has awoken to "Five more…minutes" Lucy grumbled, burying her face in her pillow "But Princess you're going to be late for school" Virgo had said in a calm voice. Lucy didn't respond, there was no way she was getting out of bed…well not until her brain fully registered what Virgo had just said.
Lucy instantly shot up out of her bed, she whipped her head to the side to face her maid "W-what did you just say?" Virgo slightly tilted her head to the side "Were you not able to hear what I said?...I said you were going to be late for school" then it hit Lucy right then and there, her eyes widened in realization as the last word that Virgo had said echoed through her mind.
"What?! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" Lucy looked at her alarm clock "7:15…shoot! That means I only have 30 minutes to get ready!"
"I thought you were getting ready" Virgo replied
"If I was then I would've been at school by now!" Lucy walked around her room looking for something "Where is my towel?!"
"I'm sorry princess…are you going to punish me?" Virgo questioned with her usual voice that didn't show much emotion
Lucy realized that her towel was in the bathroom like usual and got in, before she closed the door she quickly replied "There's no time for punishments! I have to get ready"
Virgo stood still for a sec and heard the rushing water of the shower "Oh…Princess have breakfast before you leave" not even a second has passed when Lucy replied "I will"
As soon as Lucy got out of the shower she quickly put on her uniform, grabbed her bag, went down stairs and ate her breakfast before stepping out of the house Lucy checked her watch "7:40…if Virgo will drive me there then maybe I can get to school just on time" She glanced at Virgo "Hey uh Virgo, can you drive me to school?" Virgo nodded "Sure thing"
-MUCH TIME LATER-
"Virgo! S-slow down a little!" Lucy held unto her chair as Virgo drove like a maniac! She was going way to fast, sooner or later they might crash "But Princess you might get even later if I slow down" Virgo furiously turned the wheel to the right causing herself and Lucy to slant there body to the right, Lucy hitting the car door "O-ouch" once the car was steady Lucy rubbed her pained right shoulder, she took a peek at the road and saw that they were headed straight into the school gates. Lucy gasped and put her arms in front of her face hoping to protect her face when they would hit a wall, in instant the car was pulled into a hard stop, Virgo had harshly slammed her foot into the brakes, she looked at Lucy and said in a calm voice "We're here".
Lucy slowly put her arms down and was greeted by a view of a huge building which she presumed was the school, it was bigger than she thought, Lucy reluctantly got out of the vehicle and turned to face the monster of a driver "Thanks for taking me here, I'll see you later after school" Virgo said a quick goodbye before she sped through the streets once again.
Lucy sighed "How did she even get a driver's license! I thought I was gonna die" Lucy could still feel herself shaking probably due to the car ride, Lucy turned around to face the school "Fairy Tail Academy, a prestigious school, one of the best too" She let out a quick sigh-
Lucy had checked out the school before moving in to Magnolia, her father had informed her that they would move to Magnolia and that she would attend school at Fairy Tail Academy, she was excited to hear the news and decided to search up some information about her new school, she had seen some reviews about the school, based on the reviews the school seemed to have great facilities and great teachers, and from what she saw from the pictures online, the school seemed to have been pretty big, bigger than her old school, Lucy scrolled through the reviews, they were pretty much all the same "The school is great! Everyone should go", "I've seen the school in person, the whole thing was huge!", "This school is my dream! I really wanna go there" and other reviews saying that the school was great, faculty members were great, and all that stuff. Lucy frowned, it seems like no one had anything bad to say about the students, the only bad reviews that she had seen about the students were about them being too good looking or whatever, but for Lucy that wasn't really a bad review, so far the only down side of the school was the size of it, apparently the thing was too big you could easily get lost in it even after a tour, you needed a map.
-Lucy stood still and took in the view of the school, it may have been huge but it was beautiful, even the path way to the entrance was amazing, there were plenty of trees surrounding the whole path way too, she was lost in the beauty of the trees but she was brought back to reality when she heard that the bell had rung "I should get going"
When Lucy had made it to the entrance, she had heard someone call her name "Lucy Heartfilia?" Lucy looked to where the voice had come from, and there she saw a beautiful girl with white long hair and a heartwarming smile, she looked like a model in a school uniform, she was absolutely gorgeous, the girl had noticed Lucy's reaction and let out a small giggle.
"My name's in Mirajane Strauss but you can call me Mira, I'll be your guide for the next few days, it's nice to meet you" Mira extended her hand to Lucy, Lucy gladly took it and gave a slight shake to it " Lucy Heartfilia, pleasure to meet you"
"Well we should get going, you're already late for class" Mira gave another sweet smile before walking ahead "Here's your schedule" she handed out a piece of paper to Lucy to which Lucy muttered a quick "Thanks"
While walking Mira had explained the rules of the school, and the punishments if you were to break any of them, she also asked Lucy a few questions like "Where are you from?","Why'd you transfer here?" and a few more other simple questions so that she could get to know Lucy a bit.
As they were walking through the hallway of lockers Mira seemed to have been looking for something "Oh and here is your locker" Mira had pointed to one of the lockers, Lucy glanced towards where Mira was pointing "Locker number 457" after Mira made sure that Lucy knew where her locker was, Mira gave Lucy a folded small piece of paper, she had unfolded the paper and saw numbers written on it.
"That's the code for your locker, don't worry I didn't take a peek" Mira gave a reassuring smile "If you want to change the code then you can just ask the principal".
"Where's the Principal's Office?"
"It's right next to the Faculty Room" Mira stopped in her tracks "Which is right here, and just a few feet away is the Principal's office" Lucy glanced over Mira's shoulder and saw a door not too far way "Wait here for a moment"
Lucy gave a short nod before Mira had went into the Faculty room, Lucy stood there and looked at around at the empty hallways and smiled to herself, she had a feeling that maybe High School wasn't going to be that bad, after meeting Mira, she had gotten more excited.
Mira had soon come out of the room and gave Lucy a piece of paper, it was a note, for being late, Lucy didn't read it completely but the note read along the lines of "…showed her around the school a bit…-Mira"
"If you want, I can give you a tour of the whole school right now if you'd like" Mira said, smile never going away
Lucy smiled "No, it's okay, I'd like to get to class first, can I have the tour another time?"
"Of course, what time?"
Lucy tapped her chin "Hmm does after school sound good?"
"Yup, sounds great" Mira replied "I'll meet you in front of the school after classes are done, and if you need any help finding your other classes you can just ask Levy McGarden, you have first period together, she's a small adorable girl with blue hair…actually" Mira had taken out a pen from her pocket and asked for the note that she had given to Lucy not to long ago and scribbled something on it before giving it back to Lucy "The teacher will point out who Levy is, that way you wouldn't have to go through the trouble of looking for her" Lucy smiled "Thanks Mira, I appreciate it" Mira smiled back "You're welcome"
-MOMENTS LATER-
"…and that concludes the-" was writing something on the board when he had heard a knock on the door, he placed his book and marker down on his desk and walked towards the door and slid it open, there he saw Mira and a girl with blonde hair "Sorry sir for disrupting the class" Mira gave a small bow "This is the new student that you'll be having in your class" Gildarts glanced to the blonde that stood next to Mira.
Lucy looked down, avoiding the intense gaze the teacher was giving her, after all, the guy was huge and incredibly intimidating," Note: Don't get on this guy's bad side" Lucy had thought
"I see, so this is Ms. Heartfilia?" Gildarts questioned, never breaking his intense gaze he had on the blonde girl,Mira replied with a quick "Yes sir"
Lucy had looked up to see her teacher, his arms crossed, he still had an intense gaze and Lucy was pretty sure that he had shadows all over his face and had red glowing eyes "Quit staring at me like that!", but then all the shadows had disappeared and a huge smile decorated his face "W-what just happened?" Lucy blinked a couple of times
"My name's Gildarts Clive, call me as you will just make sure it's nothin inappropriate, I'm your teacher in this class and also in Gym class, welcome to Fairy Tail Academy" Gildarts smiled once again
Lucy had a small blush on her face after what Gildarts had just said "Make sure it's nothing inappropriate? W-why would he even say that? What MADE him say that?" Lucy gave a quick glance to Mira, clearly wanting answers but Mira gave a smile that read "Don't worry about it" Lucy sighed
"C'mon in" Gildarts said before entering the classroom "Good luck Lucy" Mira winked at Lucy,in return Lucy smiled "Thanks Mira" Lucy and Mira exchanged goodbyes and parted their ways
Lucy walked in and suddenly everyone seemed to have gone silent "Alright class, this is Lucy Heartfilia, she's new here so please make her feel welcome" Gildarts had announced to his class, he turned to Lucy and said "Introduce yourself"
"My name is Lucy Heartfilia, my last school was Celestial High" at that point everyone seemed to have gasped but Lucy brushed it off-
Celestial High is a private school in Hargeon, the school is known for it's special curricular activities like, flower arranging, ballet dancing, and other things you can imagine, the school used to be an all girls school but they changed that after a few years, the school was for the wealthy people, a lot of students dream to be there, but for Lucy she wanted to get out of the school as soon as possible, she had no good memories there at all, well she had some good memories but they were small things, the students there were mostly stuck-up and spoiled, they were complete snobs, and Lucy's 'friends' were all plastic and fake, there was always something to gossip about and there were a handful of rumors, some were even about her, and don't even get started with the boys, they were just as bad as the girls, the gusy were mostly arrogant and flirty, guys would always hit on girls, and sadly Lucy was one of those girls, it annoyed her, she had no interests in dating whatsoever, was she being too harsh on the students there? Yeah, but she was still right, though she appreciates the students there who were actually nice, there was a lot of good students there actually but somehow the annoying students overpowered the nice students so Lucy would always be focused on them.
-"I moved to Magnolia because of my father's business. I expect to have good friends and I also hope for a peaceful high school life here" Lucy gave a small smile and a quick bow
As soon as Lucy was done introducing herself the boys whistled and shouted while the girls simply gave Lucy a welcoming applause
Gildarts was reading the note that Lucy had given him before introducing herself, he cleared his throat "Settle down!...good…Levy McGarden could you please raise your hand?" Lucy looked at the girl who had raised her hand, she was definitely short, she was small and petite but she was adorable "You will be guiding Ms. Heartfilia to the rest of her classes until the end of the day, as requested from Mira" Levy replied with a quick "Yes sir"
Gildarts looked around and saw a few vacant seats "Hmm go ahead and take any vacant seat" Lucy nodded
Lucy was looking through the classroom to look for a seat and noticed a seat at the back, she made her way to the back ignoring all the boys that were offering their seats or offering her to sit next to them, she sat down at the back, she thought it was a good choice, she would get a nice view of the classroom, and if any guys would look her way to steal glimpses of her they would get scolded by a teacher, Lucy had done that last time and it worked like a charm, and judging the reactions of the guys earlier she figured that it would be best if she stayed at the back, but she didn't stay at the back very back, someone was going to sit behind her or not, it was vacant after all, her spot was pretty fortunate, to her left was a huge window with a beautiful view, the person in front of her couldn't bother her since he would scolded if he did so, to her right was a girl who seemed like a shy one, she didn't seem like someone who would bother someone else, Lucy sighed in relief "So far so good"
Though she could hear the other students talking about her she didn't mind at all she was at a way to good of a mood to be even bothered by their comments, the guys were all like
"Damn what a hottie!"
"It'd be better if she sat next to me"
"She totally looked at me earlier"
"I think I'm in love"
While the gals were like
"Her hair is beautiful"
"She seems to be so confident"
"Her skin is totally flawless"
"She came from Celestial High! I have so many questions"
Lucy could hear everything they were saying, she didn't mind though, it wasn't her first time after all
-30 MINUTES LATER-
"Basically, if you were to-" the door slid wide opened "Who in the-" Gildarts turned to see who had disrupted his class "Dragneel, glad you could join us, care to explain why you were 45 minutes late?!" Gildarts glared at the boy who stood a few feet away from him.
Lucy's eyes went from Gildarts to the- "Pink?" pink haired boy who had a scarf wrapped around his neck, he stood there, hands in pocket, not giving a single care about being disruptive "Because I wasn't early" the pink haired boy said with a sarcastic tone "Hmm… let me guess, he's a delinquent" Lucy thought
"Don't you have a proper excuse?" Gildarts asked clearly not amused by the pinkette's tone toward him "Cut the crap and just give me detention, old man" The pink haired boy made his way to Gildarts' desk, Gildarts was mumbling about some stuff and gave the Pinkette a slip of paper "Get to your seat"
"Thanks, Gildarts" The pinkette had a wide grin
"Is this guy for real?" Lucy had thought, but something about the Pinkette and Gildarts seemed kinda off, like they had a bond with one another or something like that.
The pinkette walked towards Lucy "He's the one sitting behind me, huh?..." Well it seems like her sweet spot of a chair wasn't going to be that sweet anymore. As the pinkette made his way to his seat he noticed a certain blonde and stared at her until he got to his seat "She new or something?" the pinkette had thought to himself.
So uhh this chapter ended up to be longer than expected but I hope you guys enjoyed it! It ain't the best writing but I tried haha, next chapter will be up pretty soon so stay tuned.
