Birds flocked together, hurriedly picking at the seeds sown on the grey pavement, as an old lady happily converses with her daughter and grandchild. The sun gleamed off the glass building behind them as clouds lazily hovered in the sky.

The child jumped off of his mother's lap and started chasing the birds…

…Bam!

Dust filled the air as a monster crashed through the street in front of the civilians, shredding the concrete and pavement in its path. The mother stared, her eyes wide and tears streaming over her cheeks as the realization hit her that her son was not in front of her any more…

Franticly, she ran onto the destroyed pavement, screaming as she ran, only freezing as the silhouette of a man slowly materialized out of the dust…

The young man was dressed in a dark maroon shirt, a crimson cape fluttering in the air behind him and looking up, his iconic three spiked hair filled the mother with hope. In his arms, the little boy stared up at him with amazement.

"Get out of the street, Ma'am…", The hero said as he returned her son to her as the monster struggled to his feet, "…Now!"

"Crimson Riot! Evacuate these people!" Another Hero shouted as she jumped through the air above them, full speed towards the monster.

"Yes, Ma'am!"

Crimson Riot quickly escorted them to the street, before racing back towards the fighting. As he turned a corner, his mentor was flying back towards him at a massive speed. Reacting on instinct, he jumped into the air catching her mid-flight, sending both of them backwards into the air.

As they slowed down, Crimson landing on his back, rolling on the street, back onto his feet, tearing into the pavement with his feet.

"Nice Catch, rookie…"

"Thanks…" The Monster gave a deafening roar as he stampeded at them, grabbing the closest car and chucking it at them.

Crimson threw his Mentor into the air as he hardened his hair, shifting his stance as he braced for impact, bulldozing the car to one side.

His mentor landed with a roll, activating her quirk with took metal from the immediate surroundings all melting into one another to form a crude axe with which she swung at the behemoth's head, sending it flailing to one side, with Crimson Riot wall jumping up a building, releasing a massive jab across the monster's jaw with his hardened fist. The Mentor brought her axe down on the monster's knees, causing it to kneel in the street as Riot wall jumped above the monster's head, crashing his whole weight into the monster's head, sending the monster to dive headlong into the pavement.

"Alright, Crimson. I'll take him into custody…" She pointed Riot, "…you secure to scene and rescue any civilians that became trapped."

"Yes, Ma'am!" He said, but as he turned around, the monster reared up its head, smashing his backhand into Crimson Riot so hard, he flew through two buildings.

As Crimson struggled up, he glanced upwards to see a bus flying towards him. Without thinking, he jumped onto his stomach, as the bus demolished the floor of the building, he found himself. Leopard-crawling to the gaping hole in the wall, he froze…

Down in the street, he saw how the monster was beating his mentor into the ground, with every punch the monster's knuckles grew redder and redder…

A shout for help broke his trance and he turned his head to see a man clinging for life onto a metal pipe, his son sobbing as he tried to pull his father up…

…The Man's hand slipped…

…And Crimson Riot…

…Froze…
