Cyber-Godzilla crashed through the city of Tokyo, tearing down skyscrapers. Helicopters attempted to stop the reanimated corpse, only to be shot down by blue and yellow alien missiles. He looked down at the streets, cold, yellow eyes spotting a young boy standing in the empty streets. The cyborg opened his mouth and released a torrent of blue flames with the intent of disintegrating the poor lad.
But fate had other plans.
A yellow tentacle wrapped around the boy and pulled him to safety. After he was safely placed on a balcony, the lad looked over at his rescuer. The body of the kaiju looked like a crab's, with two legs on either side at a right angle. Four tentacles dangled from the chest of the kaiju. The boy's eyes widened, recognizing which kaiju it-or rather he-was.
Turning to face Cyber-Godzilla, released from the mind control of the Leviathan aliens, the Crustaceous Rex boomed a battle cry at the corpse.
'What" exclaimed the leader of the invasion. "How could a weak-minded creature escape our mind-control?" "Sir, look" shouted a guard, pointing at a red and silver giant using a lance to decimate the fleet. He could make out several more in the distance.
The Ultra Garrison was here.
Back on earth, the two titans charged at each other. The C-Rex sent out his tentacles, wrapping one around each of Cyber-Godzilla's arms while using the other two to hold the cyborg's mouth shut. With a quick turn, he tossed the undead kaiju into some apartment buildings, reducing them to rubble. The walking crab-cake approached the downed Cyber-Godzilla, only to be smacked in the shoulder by his flailing tail. Cyber-Godzilla got back on his feet and lashed out with his claws, only for C-Rex to grab his arms and throw him to the ground, before stomping on the head of Cyber-Godzilla.
A couple of boys watching placed their bets. "I got 100 bucks on Robo-Zombie." said one. "Naw, C-Rex got this one in the bag" replied his friend. C-Rex continued to stomp the robotic Zilla's head into the concrete. After losing a tooth, Cyber-Godzilla had enough and opened his mouth and bit down on the yellow kaiju's leg when it came back down. The Crustaceous Rex bellowed in pain and started stomping again, slamming the corpse's shoulder into the ground, cracking it. The cyborg screeched in pain, letting go in the process. C-Rex backed off. Looking at his leg for a moment, the hybrid of squid and crab then saw the pawn of the Leviathan aliens bend over, revealing his missile pods, before bombarding the deep-sea kaiju. C-Rex bellowed in pain, stepping back, trying to escape the attack.
Back in space, the Ultra Garrison waged war against the Leviathans. Ultraman Ace twisted to avoid a blast from an energy cannon before returning fire with his Punch Laser, a beam from the gem on his fin. It slammed into a drone, destroying it. Jack tossed his Ultra Lance through the hull of a ship severely damaging it.
Before he could press his attack, a blue beam struck the ship, blasting through to the other side of the vessel, destroying it in a massive fireball. All the Ultra present turned to face the new arrivals. It was Zoffy with reinforcements. Ultraseven flew over to his commander to greet him, however, Ultraman was no longer paying attention to them. He had just heard the sounds of a struggle down on Earth. He turned to face Ultraman King, who nodded. The Ultra nodded back, before flying toward the city.
C-rex bellowed at Cyber-Godzilla, who was charging in to attack. C-Rex swung a leg, "uppercutting" the cyborg into the air. Cyber-Godzilla came down hard, destroying a small building. The cyborg looked at the walking-crab-cake before blasting an inferno of Atomic Fire at the hybrid. Suddenly, a red and silver giant hit the ground, summoning an energy shield to block the attack. When the inferno ended, Ultraman canceled out the shield and looked at the Crustaceous Rex, who nodded at the warrior from M78. Cyber-Godzilla roared at the allies, drawing their attention to the zombie. The three charged, with Ultraman delivering the first blow, kneeing Cyber-Godzilla in the chin, following up with several chops to Cyber-Godzilla's neck.
C-Rex wrapped his tentacles around Cyber-Godzilla's neck, squeezing as tight as he could. The cyborg stabbed the talons of his metal arm into one of the appendages. C-Rex bellowed in pain and released him. Cyber-Godzilla lashed out with his claws, forcing the Deep-Sea Kaiju back. Lifting his leg, C-Rex "punched" Cyber-Godzilla in the chest, knocking him back. Ultraman wrapped his arm around Cyber-Godzilla's neck and delivered powerful punches to the metal-clad skull.
With his foe preoccupied, C-Rex looked about at his surroundings. No humans were in sight. Normally he didn't care for humans, but he had reasons. The first was the unprovoked attack. All animals will not deliberately attack a human without cause. Even he, the giant crab-squid hybrid found them annoying at worst. The other reason was, in a primal sense, the Earth needed help, needed her children to be safe. And what better defenders were there than the giants that walked the planet. But it ran deeper than that for C-Rex. Back on Site Omega, the humans feed the kaiju there and kept them happy. He saw that not all humans were bad. It was only fair he returned the favor.
Ultraman yelled out when Cyber-Godzilla pulled his head out of the Ultra's grasp and blasted him with his Atomic Fire. The cyborg stopped to take in another breath, and C-Rex saw the tubes on the corpse's neck filling with air. Quick as a flash, he darted forward and grabbed the left tube in his maw, and plucked it out. The moment Cyber-Godzilla fired, only a puff of blue fire came out. C-Rex spat out the tube and slammed his foot into Cyber-Godzilla's jaw, knocking out several teeth. Holding one hand over another, Ultraman fired several Slash Rays at the left missile pod. The pod exploded, sending shards of the scute flying.
Cyber-Godzilla shrieked in pain and staggered back. Ultraman looked at C-Rex, who nodded. Time to end this. Ultraman looked back at Cyber-Godzilla and linked his hands at the wrists. But before he could fire, a barrage of missiles crashed into the duo, throwing fire high into the night sky. The two staggered about, crying in pain. The wind blew away the smoke, revealing their attacker, the alien war-machine Mechagodzilla.
Up in orbit…
"Sir, incoming transmission from the Black Hole Planet 3 Aliens," a bridge officer said. "Patch them through," the leader said. The green-furred leader, Kuronuma appeared onscreen. "Greetings, Levithan Aliens, I heard you were in a bit of trouble, so I figured I'd stop by, send a Mechagodzilla unit to kill Ultraman and C-Rex, that sort of thing," he explained casually. If it were possible, the Levithan leader would have grinned as the space ape's ships arrived.
Mechagodzilla screeched at its targets, who looked at each other and nodded and charged. C-Rex collided with Cyber-Godzilla and Ultraman landed several chops on his metal foe. Mechagodzilla screeched and lifted an arm to block a downward chop, then aimed and fired a round of his Finger Missiles point-blank at the Ultra's gut, throwing him back with a cry of pain. The mech stomped forward and attempted to kick Ultraman while he was down, only for him to teleport out of the way.
Mechagodzilla scanned the area for its foe, only for a cry to sound out behind him. He spun his head a full 180 and was greeted with a red foot to the face, sending him to the streets. The robot screeched as Ultraman rained punches on it. Opening its mouth, a pair of red missiles rose up from the flor of his mouth and were fired, hitting Ultraman in the neck, stunning him and allowing Mechagodzilla to throw him off.
Cyber-Godzilla clamped his jaws around the Crustaceous Rex's right leg, coating his teeth in blue blood. C-Rex responded by wrapping his tentacles around the cyborg's neck and squeezing. Cyber-Godzilla resisted for as long as he could, but he was forced to let go before his neck was snapped. Sending his tentacles down, he ripped a chunk of asphalt from the streets and smashed it over Cyber-Godzilla's head with a loud CLANG! The zombie staggered about before swinging his head up, upper-cutting the hybrid with his metal-clad skull.
Ultraman let out a cry as he drop-kicked Mechagodzilla in the chest. The war machine took a few steps back but stayed standing. He looked at the Ultra, his eyes blinking from orange to yellow, then to blue and other colors of the rainbow. Ultraman, expecting an attack, got ready to put up a shield. Mechagodzilla screeched as the Space Beams were fired. Ultraman quickly traced a rectangle shape and braced the shield with his hands. The Space Beams slammed into the shield, which held. In response, a panel on his chest opened and fired his Cross Attack Beam. The energy shield started to strain to hold bach the beams.
Ultraman took the mech by surprise by jumping over the shield, foot outstretched. Mechagodzilla screeched as the kick landed on the vent on his neck, denting it and sending the machine to the ground. Mechagodzilla got up and clanked in to fight at close range. Ultraman grunted as he crossed his arms to block a downward blow, only to be jabbed in the gut. Mechagodzilla followed up by opening his mouth and firing all five missiles at Ultraman's face. The warrior from M78 yelled and clenched his face, allowing the mechanical monster to chop him in the gut. Ultraman stumbled but recovered and kicked the mech in the side, then flipped over Mechagodzilla and grabbed his tail. Mechagodzilla screeched in surprise as he was lifted in the air and spun around. With a yell, he threw the mech. Mechagodzilla merely straightened his arms, angled his head and fired up the boosters in his feet and tail and shot off, Ultraman close behind.
Cyber-Godzilla raised both of his arms, ready to drive his claws through C-Rex's skull. The hybrid responded by tilting down so his carapace could take the hit. His shell held up, and C-Rex quickly grabbed the corpse's legs and yanked, pulling him down. The Deep Sea Kaiju straightened up and stomped on his foe's gut, earning him a cry of pain from Cyber-Godzilla. When he lifted his foot to stomp again, the cyborg took the opportunity to roll out from under the appendage and stand up before lashing out with his tail, smacking C-Rex in the neck. The walking crab-cake wailed and took a few steps back, rubbing the area to lessen the sharp pain. Cyber-Godzilla charged in, jaws agape, ready to bite off C-Rex's head. The hybrid saw it coming and grabbed another hunk of concrete and crammed it in Cyber-Godzilla's jaws. The cyborg let out a muffled wail and swung his head about.
Ultraman twisted to avoid a blast of Space Beams, having gone from chaser to chased. Spotting some thick clouds, he plotted his next move and flew into them, Mechagodzilla close behind. The robot let out a low hiss, trying to detect his foe. With a yell, Ultraman slammed into the mech, sending the two into a free fall. Ultraman and Mechagodzilla traded chops as they fell. The war machine opened the panel on his chest and he fired his Cross Attack Beam at point-blank, nailing Ultraman in the gut. The Ultra yelled in pain and kicked Mechagodzilla back before linking his hands and firing the Specium Ray, hitting Mechagodzilla in the chest. The beam forced the mech down, Ultraman hovering in place. Mechagodzilla crashed down on a building, dust obscuring him. Ultraman shot down, feet outstretched. Mechagodzilla spun his head, pulling up his Neo Defence Barrier.
Ultraman saw this but merely sped up. If Mechagodzilla had the necessary programming, he would have scoffed at this. Ultraman's feet made contact with the Barrier, producing smoke as it burnt his feet. Ultraman yelled out from the pain but internally smiled when the Barrier broke and his impact produced a massive dent in his chest. He jumped off and Mechagodzilla clanked back to his metallic feet. The warrior from M78 yelled in surprise when Cyber-Godzilla took a cheap shot at his back with his missile pod while trying to crush the rock in his gob. In response, Ultraman whirled around and fired the Specium Ray. Cyber-Godzilla extended the reflector dish in his chest, which caught the beam and bounced it back. Ultraman jumped out of the way, allowing the beam to strike and destroy the device that projected the Cross Attack Beam, which was exposed when the mech tried to blast the Ultra while his back was turned. As Mechagodzilla staggered about and shut the panel to protect the damaged area, Ultraman cheekily gave Cyber-Godzilla a thumbs-up.
Finally, Cyber-Godzilla crushed the rock and darted behind C-Rex after blasting him with some missiles to distract him. With a cry, he pounced, unfortunately, the hybrid heard the cry. Tilting his body down, he skewered the cyborg with the spine that was at the end of his shell. Cyber-Godzilla let out a staticy cry of pain as vital parts were damaged. He managed to push off, but then stood there, shaking from the damage.
Up in orbit…
"Why isn't Cyber-Godzilla responding to our commands?" demanded the leader. A tech looked at a scan and saw the problem. "Vital parts of the cyborg are destroyed, so much like human technology, he froze up trying to cope," he explained. "Oh no," Kuronuma said. "What is it," asked the leader. The space ape pointed at the screen showing Mechagodzilla, who's hands were spinning and its eyes were blinking, taking aim at Ultraman and the Crustaceous rex, who were distracted by Cyber-Godzilla's behavior. "I fear he will be the death of your Zombie Zilla," he stated.
Back on Earth…
A clicking noise drew the attention of the duo to Mechagodzilla, who was preparing his ultimate attack. With a screech, he let loose with his All-Out Attack, minus his Cross Attack Beam. with a shout, Ultraman took to the air while C-Rex ran out of the line of fire, leaving Cyber-Godzilla to his fate. The cyborg wailed in pain as the attack ripped him apart. Mechagodzilla ceased firing, spotting the dish of his ally spinning on the ground. He looked around for his targets, his neck creaking.
Hovering behind and above the mech, Ultraman placed both hands on either side of his Color Timer before drawing his left arm back, an Ultra Slash spinning in his palm. He threw his arm forward and sent the Ultra Slash slicing through Mechagodzilla's tail. Mechagodzilla screeched and spun his head around, charging up his Space Beams. C-Rex snuck up behind him and raised his head to the mech's level. He bellowed, and as the head spun to face him, certain organs clenched and he opened his maw, a torrent of ink spewed forth, coating Mechagodzilla's face in the blinding stuff.
Mechagodzilla staggered back, letting out a gurgling shriek. Ultraman landed next to the hybrid and nodded to him, approving of the move. Linking his hands, he fired the Specium Ray, hitting Mechagodzilla's head and destroying it in a fiery explosion. The two stood there for a moment, making sure their foe was done for. Their caution was not in vain, for a thin laser shot out of the smoke and nailed Ultraman in the Color Timer, sending him tumbling, his Color Timer blinking red.
The smoke blew away, revealing the dome-like-brain core. The mech stomped forward, not seeing Ultraman charging up an attack. The warrior from M78 thrust his fist forward, green rings hitting Mechagodzilla in the chest. The robot froze up from the Ultra-Attack Ray. Ultraman crossed his arms and clenched his fists, destroying the robot in an utterly massive explosion. With their foe gone for good, Ultraman patted C-Rex on the head before a ghostly howl sounded. The two turned and saw the ghost of the original Zilla. Ultraman nodded at the spirit as it faded away. Seeing an Ultra Sign from Ultraseven, saying the aliens fled, he gave a nod to his ally before flying away with his signature "SHUWATCH". The Crustaceous Rex wandered off in search of tar.
Winner Ultraman, C-Rex
