Hey guys! Just in case you have NO idea what you are looking at, this is the crossover sequel of When Worlds Collide. It is the first version of the fourth arc I had promised. I would advise that you read, Heidi: Daughter of Hades, Descendants: Nature is Magic, and When World's Collide. It sounds like a lot to read...but I know that at the moment...we are all stuck at home, except for select individuals, so I don't see this as much of a challenge. If you don't want to read one or the other, you can just read When Worlds Collide.
Here is the first prologue, not exactly chapter per se...Oh well, you all know what I mean. Since I am trapped at home like many of you are, I am going to be updating this either one at a time or two at a time...just depends. These first two chapters are getting put up together because they are introductions of sorts. Anyway, fave, follow, and review if you like this and the second intro, since I'm just covering the basics and saying it on this first chapter-I'll just shut up now.
I only own my OCs, and Descendants belongs to Disney.
…..
It began a month ago. We were living life in peace across all of Auradon, the gods of each pantheon, the villains, and the heroes coexisting in perfect harmony. Audrey and I have been happily married for nearly the past two years, both of us as goddesses. I was at my home above ground the day the peace was shattered, and chaos erupted. We never thought such a thing could happen, not to a place like Auradon, a place of joy and happiness…
But that is what exactly happened.
It was a calm sunny day in Auradon, the birds were singing, and the various minor gods and goddesses passed by the cottage as they made their way up to Mount Olympus that was nearby.
Inside were two women. Two goddesses to be more exact. The one with blue hair was currently chasing around a three-headed puppy while the one with light pink hair simply shook her head in amusement.
"Heidi, I don't think you are going to catch him." The woman with pink hair said with a soft giggle.
Heidi's blue eyes met her pink-tinted ones, and the bluenette simply grinned. "Oh? I think I can." She was covered in gold-colored magic and practically disappeared as a gold, and blue blur zoomed around after the puppy while the pinkette watched with a wide smile.
It only took a matter of seconds for Heidi to catch the loud hound, and the two tumbled around until the goddess landed on her back, holding the pup above her with a victorious smile. "Gotcha! That's the last time you'll run from me, you little monster." The puppy barked at the name, and Heidi laughed. "Hey, Audrey, what was the time for that one?"
Audrey pulled out her gold-encased phone and chuckled. "Looks like...two minutes. Not a record, but it was pretty good." She said, her voice gentle as she showed the other woman the time.
Heidi peered at it before dramatically gasping. "Alas! Kirby has trumped me once more in this never-ending battle of chase!" She leaned a bit before rocking until she was able to jump up. The goddess shook her head and tossed the puppy in the air before catching it. "I will steal the crown from you one day, great hound!"
Audrey couldn't help but laugh as Heidi ran around the room with Kirby raised into the air. The woman looked for the remote. When she found it, she turned the TV on and set the remote down as she waited for the afternoon news to come on.
Heidi crashed onto the sofa next to her and laughed at the commercial. "Ah, that tape commercial never gets old. It's always the ridiculous ones that become legends." She gave the TV a mock salute. "You do you, Mr. Tape."
The pinkette rolled her eyes in amusement as the news finally came on. The smile slipped off of her face as soon as she read the headline. "Auradon City...Has Fallen?" She murmured, eyes widening at the picture.
Buildings were floating around as if gravity had failed, while there were tears in the sky that glowed gold. There was rubble floating haphazardly while the streets of the city were as empty as can be. It looked like something out of a movie...an apocalyptic one.
Heidi immediately stood up. "Those tears look familiar…" She tilted her head as something flashed through her mind.
MEMORY!
Her eyes were locked onto the door, her hand slowly waving at the people entering through the door. It was a golden door that shined and shimmered with magic. She could vaguely hear them saying their goodbyes of sort.
Her head turned, and she faced a woman with long black hair and piercing green eyes. "That's it, then?" She asked, with a small smile.
The woman nodded and gazed back at the door. "I doubt that they will ever return. They have no reason to...They have everything they need there." She stated while she placed a hand on her hip.
Heidi sighed and nodded in acceptance. "Ain't that the truth." She murmured, watching as they began to disappear within the portal.
Suddenly, she felt a hand on her throat, and she was sent to the ground. Looking up, Heidi could see the woman smirking at her with glowing pink eyes. The woman walked up to the door and waved her hand down, causing a large tear to form.
"Hecate...What are you doing?" The bluenette asked, feeling weak all of a sudden.
"Hecate" let out a chuckle and knelt beside her. "Taking a...souvenir to remember this experience."
Then the world went black.
MEMORY END!
Heidi shook her head, placing her hand on her temple. "That was weird...I don't remember ever doing that…" She murmured, feeling a headache coming on.
Audrey stood up and grabbed her hand. "Come on! We need to go tell the gods up on Olympus!" She said, turning the TV off with her magic.
Heidi's confusion never faded as they left the house and teleported up to the already bustling and panicked Olympus.
Little did she know that things would get much more confusing….
Even though the pantheons were on good terms, they talk a lot thanks to me; nobody appeared to know what to do. It was something they hadn't seen in a long time. Zeus called the cause of the attack on Auradon a "Warning" and that the individual who caused it would be hitting soon and hitting hard. I didn't know what to make of the information as I had never encountered someone who could make Zeus turn as white as a ghost in a matter of seconds.
A week passed with no attack; we grew restless. The gods who wished to fight rode out into the damaged portion of Auradon in an attempt to end the threat that way. We never saw them again...This prompted Zeus to lay down a curfew. Nobody was to leave Olympus under any circumstances, and nobody could fight or draw attention to the mountain. My father had long since hidden in the Underworld with his wife (Yeah, they married) Persephone, along with Hermes, Hestia, and my brother Hadie. I, too, wanted to head down, but I didn't want to abandon Auradon. Not yet. So, instead, I decided to sneak out and head to Auradon City as well...Nothing could have prepared me for what I found.
Heidi kept her cloak over her head, making sure that she was still invisible as she snuck around the deserted and destroyed city. The gravity was still a tad off, and the goddess had to keep a spell up so that she remained on the ground. This is far worse than the time that Audrey wrecked most of Auradon...And that took months to fix with magic. She thought, pausing as she heard footsteps.
As she peeked around the corner, a tall woman entered the streets. She seemed to be half black and half pink, with her right side having black and the left pink. Her hair was colored straight down the center, following the colors as the right was black, and the left was pink. Her eyes matched the hair in the color scheme with what appeared to be golden flecks in the woman's pink eye. Her skin was pale with black veins that stuck out against her pale skin, while her entire right arm was coated in a black substance that crept up towards her neck. Her long sleeveless dress was pure black and ended in shadows that appeared to fan out while she walked.
The woman had a smirk on her face as she tapped her sharpened nails on her arm. "I know you are out here...I can feel you." She said, her voice cold as can be while her eyes lit up in amusement.
Heidi stiffened as she heard the woman begin to walk towards her. How could she possibly- Her thoughts were cut off as she saw the woman standing in front of her. Only, the woman wasn't standing on the ground...she was standing on nothing. There was no way she was levitating; the wind wasn't helping her...she was just standing.
The woman raised an eyebrow and ripped the cloak off, her smirk widening at the sight of the bluenette. "Well, well, well...If it isn't Heidiana, Daughter of Hades." The woman loomed over the goddess and chuckled. "I never imagined I would see you here of all places. Ares, yes, not you, however."
Heidi scowled at the mention of the god. "What did you do with him?" She asked, masking her worry behind an angered expression.
The woman waved her hand, and suddenly Ares appeared next to her. The woman ran a finger along his jaw and smiled. "Ares? He is mine, always has been. Time after time, I went to another man, and he was always waiting there for me." She said, her voice going low as the god brought her in for a heated kiss.
Heidi peered at the god for a moment before her eyes landed on a butterfly mark on his neck. She blinked a few times before tilting her head. As soon as they parted, Heidi looked at the woman with narrowed eyes. "Are you...controlling him?"
The woman chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Why, I am not controlling him, not completely anyway." She smirked as the god wrapped his arm around her waist. "His actions are all him; he just obeys me now. Then again...He has always obeyed me." She said with a breathy laugh, placing her head on the god's bare chest.
The god responded with a smirk. "Adelpha speaks the truth." His deep voice rang with amusement at the sight of the girl.
Heidi blinked at the name. "Adelpha?" She looked at the woman. "Your name is Adelpha?"
The woman nodded, her mismatching eyes glowing a bit. "It is indeed. Has your father not spoken of me? Surely he would have held some...rage for me. I could feel his anger all the way from the shadow dimension. I haven't felt anything like it in years…" She said with a dreamy sigh.
Heidi looked at her in confusion. "The only person, my dad, really hates is my mother. He never named her, though." She said, carefully reaching for her ember that was in her pocket.
Adelpha's eyes seemed to sparkle at her words. "Well, dear, I believe it is about time you meet her." She lifted her head off of Ares' chest and chuckled. "Hello...daughter."
So, yeah... it turns out my mom is the person who is destroying Auradon. I only sound casual due to hours and hours of processing. As the rest of the conversation panned out, I found that she already had control of all the students at Auradon Prep, Ben, most of the villains, and a handful of royals. She was strangely kind to me, though I later discovered that's just her natural charm, and even offered to give me something. Due to the fact I had a grinning Ares staring at me, that's scary on its own; I had to accept it. At some point in time...I had gone on an adventure across worlds. I met people, remarkable people that I laughed and fought with. I left them...and they followed me. I fought with them some more...And then they left.
Oddly, I wouldn't remember such a thing, especially considering that it seemed so important. She also revealed that I had a power that I couldn't remember. She removed a ring and...wow. That's the first word that came to mind. It reminded me a lot of Zeus's power, turns out it was, and I had pretty good control over it (For some reason.)
Fast forward a bit, and we are at week three, and all has gone to hell. Most of Auradon is gone under her control. Olympus fell after I went back, Adelpha followed me right in. She tagged almost everyone with that stupid butterfly mark, and I barely got Audrey out in time. I contacted dad, and he told me to come down there that instant, that it wasn't safe anywhere else. Along the way, we tried to save Mal and her daughter...Unfortunately, Ares captured her, and Adelpha appeared in his chariot. I was almost tempted to fight her, but Audrey told me no...So, we raced to the opening, Ares and many other gods chasing after us and nearly spearing us alive countless times.
...But we made it.
Heidi and Audrey barely made it in as the door slammed shut. "Seal it now, Heidi!" A voice shouted from deeper within the Underworld.
Heidi quickly summoned her magic and chanted something in ancient greek before drawing the magical seal in the air. Once she was done, the seal glowed gold and pulsed with magic. The blue-haired goddess sighed and shook her head. "Thank the gods." She mumbled, sitting on the stairs as Audrey looked down at her.
"Are you okay?" Audrey asked, concern flashing across her face.
Heidi ran her hand through her short hair and nodded. "Just peachy." She said, standing up and brushing off her long black trench coat. She took Audrey by the hand and began leading her down the long staircase.
Audrey bit her lip and looked at her wartorn wife. "Heidi...I'm sorry we couldn't save her." She said, leaning against her fellow goddess.
Heidi sighed and looked down at the steps. "...They almost made it. I should have distracted that stupid bitch." She muttered bitterly, shaking her head.
Audrey nodded and rubbed the bluenette's hand in reassurance. "I know, I know...We'll save them when we get back. We'll save everyone; I promise you that. I'm not leaving your side through this, okay?" She leaned up and placed a kiss on a particular scar Heidi had gained over the past week.
Heidi closed her eyes with a small smile. She exhaled softly and opened her eyes before looking down at the shorter goddess. "You are the greatest, princessa." She chuckled and lifted her so she could meet the other's lips.
They kissed for several minutes until a loud, "AHEM!" caused them to stop. The two women smiled at each other, and Heidi set Audrey down and laughed. "And that is our cue. Dad must be getting impatient." Heidi said jokingly, prompting a giggle from her wife.
The two reached the bottom and saw Hades looking at them impatiently. "Sorry, dad." The two said in sync, causing Hades to roll his eyes.
"Thank you, and Heidi get your head out of the gutter and into the real world. Hestia, Hermes, and I have been working on a game plan." Hades walked towards the center of the room, where the two other gods were along with Persephone, who appeared to be looking at a book herself.
Hermes zipped over to them and quickly exchanged a hug with each goddess. "I'm so glad you two were able to get here." He said, relief filling his voice before he zipped over to where Hestia sat.
Heidi and Audrey joined them and looked surprised at what was on the table in front of them. There were countless spell books splayed out, each seeming to be in a different ancient language with only one being in English. "What are these?" Audrey asked, squinting at the English one as she tried to make out a few words.
Hestia looked up. "They are books holding spells we believe will be useful in taking our threat down." She stated, purposefully leaving out the woman's name.
Hades nodded and thumbed through a few pages. "Since Hecate is gone, we took the liberty of raiding her library, and we found a few things that could take down that old crone. Endgame time people, we are in the endgame." Hades said with a clap of his hands.
Heidi examined a few of the spells, and her eyebrows flew up. "Sealing dimensional walls? Locking powers?" She looked up at her father. "What are you planning?"
Hades smirked and folded his arms. "Well, we are aiming to toss her into the void, or spread her essence. Either way, she won't be back, and she won't be missed. We'll need to get rid of her reality-bending tricks, and that will require her powers to be locked. Step one, find more gods and get help, step two, lock her powers, step three...kill that bitchy freak of nature." The god chuckled at the last step.
Heidi ignored the pleased look on his face and looked at Hestia, seeing as she was the other elder goddess in the room. "How would we spread her essence?"
Hestia looked thoughtful at that and rubbed her chin. "It would have to be a weapon strong enough to harm a god. In the past, these weapons have been forged specifically by primordial entities. Our father's scythe was the only known remaining one, and it was formed by the primordial goddess of the Earth. That scythe was burned in my hearth in Olympus not long ago as a way to protect other gods in case someone wished to use it." The goddess said, a small frown appearing on her face.
Hermes floated up and clicked his tongue. "But I am sure the scythe is still there in the other Olympus." He said, folding his arms and smiling.
"What if it isn't?" Audrey asked, having tuned back into their conversation.
Hades rubbed his chin. "Well...Then we have to toss her in the void. We'd have to distract her while Heidi here summons the portal to the void. This is pretty risky because you two kiddos are the only ones, besides Hestia, Athena, and Artemis, who can resist her charm. Athena and Artemis retreated with the Norse from what I hear, and they are planning their backup plan in case we fail." He explained, leaning on the table as he made a couch out of gold. He gestured for Persephone to join in, and the beautiful blonde did so with a happy smile. "If there were a safer way of transporting you two, I'd send you over to them. Those Norse guys could make a god-killing weapon in their sleep."
Heidi looked at him in surprise. "The Norse can? What if we just went and asked them to make one to kill her?"
Hades shook his head as he slung his arm over the blonde goddess. "Not safe, and you two can't handle her on your own, not with her piece of raging meat guarding her at all times." He told them he was about to say more when Hermes raised his finger. "Yes, Hermes?"
Hermes ignored the annoyed tone of the other god and smiled at the two. "So, you two need to get more gods, right? But there are none left, besides the Norse and any Virgin Goddesses, and that means...You have a bit of a problem."
Hades rolled his eyes as Heidi blinked at him. "Yes, we know we have a problem. That's why we are down here." She stated, placing her gloved hands on her hips.
Audrey nodded. "Do you have something in mind, Hermes?" She asked, taking Heidi's hand and leaning her head on the taller goddess's arm. Heidi noticed and maneuvered so that the pinkette was cuddled up to her chest; instead, the bluenette wrapped her arm around the shorter women's waist and channeled her body to be a bit warmer. Audrey smiled warmly at her. "Thanks."
Heidi winked at her before looking to Hermes. The god smiled at the interaction; it was one of those things he found strangely adorable about them. "Okay, so we all remember that whole other world thing from two years ago, right?" All of them nodded while Heidi gave him a thumbs up. "That world is untouched by that lady's touch and if you can separate it and protect it from her reality-bending powers...You can go there and get a weapon or get help, and maybe even meet up with those people again!"
Audrey tilted her head. "All we need to do is seal off the dimension? That sounds easy enough; I'm sure together we could do it." She looked up at Heidi for confirmation.
Heidi paused and lifted the book she had seen it in using her magic. She scanned it over a few times before she slowly nodded. "It would take a lot of magic to seal it, and we would be stranded while incredibly weakened for awhile...But it's possible."
Hermes nodded. "Exactly, and while you are stuck there, you can get help and, maybe, a weapon. That way, you are ready, rested, and raring to go." He said with a wide smile.
Audrey blinked before smiling. "See, Heidi? It would solve all of our problems, and you would get to see them again. Isn't that great?" She looked up at Heidi with her pink-tinted eyes that were filled with relief.
Heidi was silent in thought. "...It's necessary to end this chaos, isn't it?" Instead of sounding happy, she seemed a bit annoyed.
Audrey frowned and leaned up to plant a kiss Heidi's cheek. "Yes, but we can also have fun. Like the days before this all happened! We don't get to do that anymore, and I think it's time for a break from all this madness." She reached for Heidi's other hand and held it. "It would be good for you."
Heidi looked down at her, her bangs slightly hanging over her eyes. "Audrey...We have a mission; we can't have fun until that mission is done." She said, her voice eerily calm while her face was neutral.
"But what if we are there for a month? Or longer? We cannot simply train the entire time, that's not healthy for you. You need to relax a bit. Enjoy the sights and the people!" Audrey chuckled and smiled at her as the pink glowed within her eyes. She made a rose appear in her hand, and she pinned it on Heidi's jacket. "Stop and smell the roses."
Hades groaned at how corny it was while the Persephone giggled, and the other two simply smiled. Heidi ignored her father and looked down at her pink-haired wife. "...You are a temptress." She said with a low chuckle.
Audrey wagged her eyebrows. "I know I am, and you love it." She said, drawing closer to the bluenette.
"You know I do," Heidi said with a chuckle, beginning to lift her.
Before they could kiss, Hades cleared his throat rather loudly and looked at them. "Hey! Break it up, you two. Geez, you'd think after two years you'd calm down...Guess I was wrong." He said with sarcasm lacing his voice. "Now, let's get back to our plan. Hermes, go over it again!" He pointed at the blonde-haired god.
Hermes floated off of his seat. "First of all, we need to get a spellbook for each of you. These spellbooks will have every spell you need for this mission. Second, we need to repair the doorway. That woman damaged it two years ago, and since Hecate is gone, we haven't been able to fix it." He looked to Heidi and tilted his head.
Heidi picked up what he was inferring and nodded. "Yeah, I can probably fix it. No worries there." She confirmed, not looking bothered at that.
Hermes nodded with a smile. "Third, you enter into the other realm and seal off the entrances so that the lady can't follow you there. Make sure you seal off all the entrances, including the one to Asgard. This will be the most difficult part, and I would not be surprised if you are both unconscious at the end." He said while Heidi and Audrey nodded in understanding.
"Fourth, you need to reach the gods themselves and explain the problem. Fifth, gather as many allies as possible, we'll need it. Sixth, come back when you are strong enough. And finally, the seventh...Defeat her in the way we have found possible." The god finished and did a spin midair.
"And we get our life back," Heidi said with a small smile, looking down at Audrey, who smiled back.
Hades looked at all the books from afar as he allowed Persephone to lean in close. "Now, we have to finish up the spell books and go over everything, so you two don't screw it up. Also, Audrey, you need to change your appearance slightly so that you aren't identical to the other one." He told the pinkette before looking back down at the spellbooks.
Audrey nodded and quickly changed her appearance, giving her more of a youthful appearance that she knew would allow her to get Heidi to do something. "There...We can probably change it back once we are in a land other me wouldn't be in. That sounds so weird." She said with a chuckle.
Heidi rubbed her back in soothing circle motions. "Ah, trust me, it is indeed very weird." She murmured with a soft chuckle.
Audrey leaned her head against Heidi's chest and smiled at the warmth. "Then I hope you will keep my head straight, that way I won't be confused during our entire trip." She said in amusement, closing her eyes as she relaxed into Heidi's hold.
"Don't worry; I will be there the entire way. I promised never to leave your side, no matter the danger...And I'm sticking to that eternal promise, Princessa." Heidi told her, the goddess's voice gentle and sweet, as she rocked the woman back and forth.
Audrey chuckled and sighed in pure relaxation. "I know...I can always trust you to remain by my side. You haven't let me down once in this nightmare."
As soon as the pinkette was asleep, Heidi picked her up and carried her over as she created a couch out of gold. She sat down and manipulated the couch to move closer to the table as she also created a blanket out of her magic. The goddess covered them both and brought her wife in closer so that she would remain warm.
Hestia smiled at the sight. "I can tell you two will succeed." She said, lacing her hands together before she went back to the table of books.
The corners of Heidi's lips fell as she closed her eyes. We have to...Not only for our world… Her eyes opened, and they fell to the books. But for theirs….
It took us about an additional week to prepare. We had to cast the proper spells on ourselves; we did not want to be affected by the personality changes within the other dimension. That would merely slow down our mission. We are protected that way, and we both made devices that would allow the wearer to become immune to Adelpha's charm. We plan on handing these out to those we trust to assist us in this fight, if we find anybody. I doubt anybody would wish to step up and help us win this war against her. Audrey has hope that someone will, but I feel as though they will all ignore us and think that we have it handled.
We don't have it handled. We don't have a weapon to spread her essence with; we don't have enough allies...And Audrey and I alone cannot stop her. I don't know what we are going to do; it is going to take a miracle to find help in this time.
Today is the day we leave for the other world...
Heidi walked around as she prepped her massive black pegasus for the journey. The pegasus was pitch black with large eagle-like black wings that sparkled like the night sky. His mane and tail were blazing violet flames while his silver hooves were lit with the same flames. He had silver-colored armor on his neck and the majority of his face with only his eyes and muzzle open to the world. His eyes glowed pure white with magic while his entire body seemed to have a white outline to it.
As soon as she had the armor secured, the blue-haired goddess faced her wife's steed. Audrey's mount was a beautiful cream pegasus mare with a vibrant coral mane and tail and swirly vibrant coral butterfly-shaped wings. Her coat is tinted with bubblegum-pink, and her mane and tail have a hint of magenta in them that match her coat perfectly. Her hair is woven with rare Cloud Anemones - delicate white, four-petaled flowers that Heidi found within the clouds near Olympus.
The two horses were a mated pair, much like their riders, and were considered legendary among the pegasi community. The day of their marriage, the mare, which so happened to be named after the flowers woven into her mane, Anemone, flew down along with her mate. Anemone chose Audrey soon after Heidi and her had exchanged a loving kiss. The pegasus gave them the gift of love, a sign that she chose them both and wished for them to be together forever. Uranus, her mate, bestowed upon the two the gift of great judgment so that the two may always make the best choices.
Audrey patted her steed in a friendly manner before meeting her wife halfway. She was dressed in a gorgeous flowy sleeveless red dress that had a deep v-neck cut and a long slit up her right leg. She had a pair of white heels on that had tiny diamonds on them that allowed them to sparkle even in the Underworld's dim lighting. Her jewelry consisted of a large dark opal ring on her right hand, extravagant finger jewelry on her left made out of gold and rubies that appeared to glow a bit, a pair of small diamond earrings, a diamond necklace with many magical rubies, and a golden crown decorated in hundreds of glowing rubies.
Heidi embraced the regal woman and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Hey...You look beautiful, Princessa." She said quietly, running her hand through the other goddess's pink hair.
Audrey chuckled and smiled up at her. "You should dress up too, the world we are going to is still intact, and you look like a soldier." She said, removing the sizeable gray scarf on her wife and tossing it aside.
The bluenette looked herself over. She was wearing a long black cover-up over her dark gray tank top that was tied with several small strings. She had black leather pants on along with a pair of knee-high steel-toed boots. She also had on a pair of black fingerless gloves. Her accessories consisted of a massive magic Mexican opal and gold ring on her right hand, a handmade bracelet in several pastel colors that was a gift from Audrey, and a silver necklace with another large Mexican opal that appears to be in a constant swirling motion with magic glowing within. On her right ear, she had a couple of golden rings along with a small golden lightning bolt and a moon made out of diamonds that were pierced on her ear lobe. On her left, she had three gold and opal rings attached to her ear helix-style.
Heidi folded her arms. "I think I look fine." She said with a shake of her head.
Audrey raised an eyebrow and placed a hand on her hip. "You...Heidi, I ask this of you, please do not wear that throughout our entire trip." She said slowly, gesturing to the rather beat-up looking outfit the other woman was wearing.
Heidi looked at her before sighing. "Fine, Princessa, only because you asked so nicely." She finished with a small smile. With a reluctant wave, her outfit changed into a long black dress with sparkles that resembled twinkling stars. The sleeveless dress accentuated her curves perfectly with its deep v-neck while also being flowy enough that it blew in the gentle breeze of the Underworld. The ends of the dress appeared to be of black smoke and was continually being generated. Attached to the bodice was a long translucent black cape that resembled fairy wings when it blew, small sparkles making it glitter in the lighting. Her left ear jewelry was gone while only the moon and the lightning bolt remained on her right ear. Her necklace was still there along with her large ring, each glowing magnificently.
Audrey smiled at the woman's different attire. "There...now you truly resemble the queen you are." She said, taking Heidi by her hand and rubbing it as a way to comfort the other goddess.
The princess turned goddess knew that Heidi was stressed; she just had this habit of hiding it behind a tough facade. Heidi had been rather stressed lately, and Audrey found herself going out of her way to try and calm her down. Not much had worked, and Hades told them not to do anything 'spicy,' both of them had slapped him hard at that, so now she was onto the little things.
"The Queen of Darkness is just my official title; I'm not an actual queen, you know." Heidi reminded her with a shake of her head.
Audrey chuckled and adjusted Heidi's necklace. "No, but you are highly respected among three pantheons, recognized as an honorary member in countless others across the world, you united many gods...You are definitely a Queen for that alone." She pulled her hands away and tilted her head. "A Queen does what is best for her kingdom...You are doing what is best for your world, it takes someone brave to do that..."
Before they could get any closer, Hades, once again, butted in and cleared his throat. "AHEM! Ladies, this is Hell you are trying to make out in, keep that above ground or I'll put both of you to work." The god practically pushed them apart and held two large book bags.
Heidi accepted her black one while Audrey accepted the dark red one. Heidi pulled a large leather book out. It had intricate designs in gold etched into it along with several glowing pink gems. Audrey's, on the other hand, was a velvety red with silver designs on the body and front, along with a silver magic circle in the center. They quickly looked them over before placing them back in and positioning the bags to just how they wanted it.
"Now!" Hades clapped his hands together and pushed them towards their steeds. "Time for you two to get out of here and into the great unknown! Hermes, Hestia, Seph, and I will hold down the fort here since that crazy bitch can't get down here."
Heidi rolled her eyes and hopped on her horse's back. "I get it, dad; you are trying to kick us out. We're leaving already." She said with sarcasm before she clicked for her pegasus to start walking towards the drop-off.
Audrey made it onto her pegasus's back with little to no problem. She quickly joined Heidi at the drop-off and waved at the gods. "We'll see you all soon!" She said with a smile.
Hestia, Hermes, and Persephone waved back while Hades gestured for them to get a move on. Heidi mockingly saluted her father, prompting the god to roll his eyes and salute back before turning away.
Heidi smirked at the sight before looking at Audrey. "Follow my lead; we're gonna fly right through that door and out of the other Underworld." She said, grabbing ahold of her horse's fiery mane as if it was solid.
"No stopping to greet the other Hades?" Audrey asked with a bit of humor, smiling at the thought of meeting another version of the god.
Heidi shook her head at the idea. "Nope. We don't have time for that; we'll have a very short window of time to cast the reality sealing spell over the entire dimension...I'm already feeling the drain." She said, her voice going flat at the end.
Audrey secured her hand in her horse's coral mane and nodded. Heidi gave her a thumbs up before clicking to her horse. The pegasus neighed before taking off down into the Underworld with Audrey and her pegasus following closely.
The two pegasi left trails of fire and rose petals, respectively, as they flew gracefully down into the deeper part of the Underworld. Once they reached the right level, Heidi snapped her fingers, causing the magical door to fly open.
Audrey looked at the shimmering light in awe. She looked at Heidi and blinked when she saw that the bluenette was holding out her hand. With a smile, she laced her fingers with the other woman's. They stayed like that for a minute or so before they let go and looked back at the doorway.
"Ready?" Heidi asked her, the smallest of smiles on her face.
Audrey nodded and gave her a warm smile. "With you...I am always ready."
Heidi chuckled before she clicked for her horse to fly forward, and in a matter of seconds, the two goddesses and their pegasi were gone into the golden doorway.
