It was a dark, cold, and rainy day in Arendelle. The war caused the people to hide underground. Queen Anna leading the resistance into battle. "For Arendelle!" Anna cried out. The resistance fought the unknown forces from taking over the land. Anna's sister, Elsa, had just lost her ice powers to an evil sorceress. Right before the sorceress could kill her I ran in just in time to save her. "Jeremiah, don't!" she yelled. Before I could stop the sorceress, she blasted me into a wall knocking me out.
24 hours earlier:
"Elsa! Come on! It's not like we're staying in Corona forever. It's a one week trip for our honeymoon. Besides, my parents are thrilled to give us a tour of Corona." "I know. But Rapunzel can be a bit overeager sometimes. And Eugene. he's quite the charmer but he weirds me out. Are you sure your homeland is perfect for the honeymoon?" "Elsa, everything is going to be fine. I planned this out right after I asked you to marry me a few weeks ago." I smiled to give her rassurance. I had met Elsa at her coronation. We were both young. At the time, Elsa was having some self doubt. Anna had to help her through all her issues. Elsa was afraid that she would hurt the ones she cared about, including me, with her magical ice powers. It took awhile for Elsa to say yes when I asked her out for a date. The first time was at her coronation. My parents, Rapunzel and Eugene, forced me to go. I wanted to stay home, but I'm glad I went. Everyone gathered in the ballroom. The servants announced Elsa's arrival. Then Anna's. We all bowed. I was right there in the front row. When our eyes met it was like love at first sight. Mom looked at me with a big smile. "Someone's in love!" "Mom! Don't embarrass me!" She grabbed my hand and dragged me to Elsa. Elsa chuckled. I looked at her nervously. "Your majesty." I bowed. "Rise. And please, call me Elsa. To whom do I owe the honor?" "I'm Jeremiah, Prince of Corona. "Ah, you must be Rapunzel's boy. It is certainly most honorable to meet you." "Likewise. Would you like to walk through the halls and talk for awhile?" She smiled. "I would love to." Getting to know Elsa and her story was truly an amazing day. When Anna made Elsa go ice crazy, Elsa asked me to keep the kingdom safe while she was away. I accepted the duty. A few days later, an evil prince that came to the coronation captured Elsa and imprisoned her in the dungeon. He had no right to do that. "You can't do that! You don't have the right! She asked me specifically to watch over Arendelle!" "You no longer have that right. You're a traitor to Arendelle for taking sides with an evil witch. We need her to bring back summer. The only way to do that is to kill her. Anna was no match for her. Guards! Throw him in the dungeon. I'll deal with his treason later." An hour later, Elsa escaped her cell and into the storm she innocently created. I watched through the window as Elsa fell to her knees and calmed the storm down. Anna was struggling to get to her. Right before the prince struck Elsa, Anna rushed to the rescue. She turned to ice and the prince's sword broke upon contact with frozen Anna. The force blew him back and knocked him out. Elsa looked up to see what her powers had done to Anna. I could hear her crying out. "Anna no!" She hugged the frozen Anna. Suddenly, Anna came back to life. Elsa hugged her tightly. "But how?" "Elsa, I love you." Elsa then realized how to control her powers: with love. "Of course, love!" She retracted all the ice and summer was back. "Anna, I feel like someone is missing. I see you with Kristoff. Oh! Jeremiah! Where is he?!" The prince groaned and got up. Elsa immediately grabbed him by the collar. "What did you do to my boyfriend?" He wouldn't talk. Elsa put her left hand on his chest ready to freeze him. "I'm going to ask again: what did you do to Jeremiah?" She looked at his eyes then realized where I was. "The dungeon!" She ran all the way back to the castle and down the steps to the dungeon area. I could hear her heels in the hallways. "Jeremiah, where are you?" "I'm over here in the back!" She followed the sound of my echoing voice. Upon finding my cell Elsa froze the door and ripped it off its hinges. We tightly embraced. "I love you Elsa." She cried with joy. "I love you too!" We kissed. We have been together ever since. Four years later, Elsa again found herself in another adventure. She kept hearing a voice in her head. Her, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf went on a quest to find the voice. "Elsa, do you want me to go?" "No, I need you here in Arendelle. In case I don't come back. I wouldn't want Rapunzel on my case if something happened to you." "I'll do my best to watch over Arendelle. I love you." "I know. I love you too." We kissed and said our goodbyes. During this time, I defended Arendelle from all evil at any cost. Also, I could feel when Elsa was distressed. I had a vision that Elsa turned to ice during her quest. She did find the voice she was after. It was her mother. She changed so much during her journey. At the end, she made Anna queen of Arendelle. They returned to the castle to celebrate. "Anna, where's Elsa?" "She decided to stay in the Enchanted Forest. She told me to give this to you. She wants you to go live with her there. Hope you don't mind the outdoors." She handed me a folded note. It said:
"Dear Jeremiah,
A lot has happened during these past two days. I can't wait to tell you. I asked Anna to deliver this note to you. I want you to come live with me in the Enchanted Forest. I think you'll like it here. I love you so much. Hope to see you soon. Thank you for taking care of Arendelle while I was away. I appreciate it.
With Love,
Elsa"
There was a small tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Elsa standing there. "Elsa! You've changed! You look beautiful! What happened?" She hugged me. "I'll tell you over dinner. Dinner at that restaurant you're always talking about?" "Sure! Elsa, I want to ask you something very important." I reached for the ring in my pocket and got down on one knee. "Elsa, you've been my best friend. We've been through a lot together. I'm happy that my parents forced me to come to your coronation four years ago. Meeting you was the best day of my life. I stayed behind while my parents went back to Corona. Elsa, I love you. Will you do the honor of being my wife?" She put her hands over her eyes trying to keep from crying. "Yes! Yes!" She kneeled down and we kissed passionately. I put the ring on her left ring finger. "It's beautiful! Where did you get this?" "My mom sent it to me knowing I was going to ask you to marry me. She said it was a mother's instinct." She laughed. A few weeks later Elsa and I married. Mom came up to me. "I'm so proud of you! You've grown up so much! I knew forcing you to come with us to the coronation was a good idea." She hugged me while sobbing her eyes out. "Mom, you can let me go now." "Just another minute to be with my baby." Dad had to pry her off me. "Okay blondie. It's time for them to walk down the aisle to the exit." Elsa and I waved to everyone who came while walking towards the exit. Anna met us at the end. She hugged both of us tightly then turned to me. "Welcome to the family Jeremiah. I knew you and Elsa were perfect for each other when y'all met. And here y'all are married four years later. All I want to say is thank you. Thank you for taking good care of my sister. I hope you continue taking care of her." "You're welcome Anna. I promise I will take care of Elsa. I won't let anything happen to her." Anna smiled. And that brings the story to the present where Elsa and I are on the way to Corona for our honeymoon. We loaded our luggage onto our boat and we were off. "Jeremiah, I have a terrible feeling something's bad is going to happen. I don't know what it is but it's coming very soon." "Did Gran Pabbie tell you anything?" She shook her head no. "We should be careful. Anything can happen. Especially after what I went through in the Enchanted Forest. What an adventure that was." I heeded Elsa's warning. She was right. Anything can happen and I have to make sure both of us will make it through whatever comes our way. The trip to Corona was really interesting. Elsa got seasick on the first day, I lost a game of chess to the captain, one of the crew members got drunk, and I almost got eaten by a shark. We arrived in Corona on the final night. I looked at my home and breathed in its air. "Feels good to be home. Elsa, welcome to Corona. You're gonna love it here. There's many things to do. I hope you enjoy it here. I most certainly did growing up." One of the crew members loaded our luggage onto a horse carriage that came from the palace. "Wanna walk?" She nodded yes. We walked throughout the village. We stopped for dinner at the Mime's Diner. While there, we bumped into Varian, the royal scientist. "Varian! How are you doing? It's been a long time." "Yes, it has. I'm doing very well. I heard about your wedding. Congratulations! This must be the Elsa I've been hearing about." "Yes, I am. A pleasure to meet you Varian. Arendelle doesn't have a royal scientist. I must tell Anna to find one when I get back." "Who's that?" Varian scratched his head. "Oh, that's my younger sister. She's now the queen of Arendelle because of certain circumstances that are too long to explain." Suddenly, there was a loud boom coming from the castle. "Oh no! The heater blew up again! Nice to see you again Jeremiah. I gotta go take care of this." Varian rushed out of the diner. I remembered as a child Varian's inventions still had flaws, even when he thought they were perfected. "Oh Varian, still trying to work out the kinks on everything." After the diner, we went to the castle. One of the watch guards must have seen us coming because he alerted the others of our presence. Mom came rushing out meeting us at the gate. "Oh my god! You guys made it! So good to have you home J. How does it feel?" I sighed. "It feels different. I know that from living in Arendelle for four years. I left everything behind upon meeting Elsa. It may take a while getting adjusted. Are my toys still in my room?" Elsa snickered. "Hey! I loved my toys! They were my favorite part of my childhood! Before meeting you, they were the only friends I had." "They're right where you left them sweetie." "Come on Elsa. I'm going to show you my room." My room was very small but still big enough to fit people. Elsa seemed to be fascinated by my book and action figure collection. "You were lucky to have all this as a child. Even though I was a princess, I was stuck in a room for most of the time. I didn't have any of this." She seemed to be sad. "Elsa, it's okay. I understand. My mom went through the same thing. She didn't have all what I have now. When I was born she strived to give me the life she never had." Elsa sat on the edge of my bed. I closed the door. She looked at me. "I'm very glad she did. My parents tried to help me control my ice powers. It wasn't until later in life I learned to control them with love. That's where you and Anna came in. Except you were in a dungeon. I was not happy about that." "That was weird but everything worked out in the end. Elsa, just remember that I'm here for you. Don't hide anything. Nothing is worth hiding." "I know. I learned that the hard way with Anna." She continued to look at me. "What?" "Come here." She motioned for me to sit next to her. Elsa immediately kissed me. I started to sweat. "Elsa, what are you doing?" She smiled mysteriously. "You'll find out." She pushed me onto my back and kissed me once more. "Elsa!" "Don't be nervous. I don't know how this is going to work but I hope it goes well." Elsa and I spent the night together. The next morning I woke up with Elsa cuddled up next to me. I carefully got up without waking her up. I got dressed and went to the dining hall for breakfast. Mom and Dad were already up. "Good morning sweetie! I made your favorite: scrambled eggs with a side of bacon and a nice cold glass of soda pop." "Thanks Mom. That's very kind and nostalgic." I hugged her. "So, we heard noises coming from your room last night. It sounded like you and Elsa had a lovely night." "Mom!" "What? It's okay to tell us you and Elsa did it. You know, your father and I-" "Not helping!" "Okay okay. Sorry. You don't have to mention anything from last night." I wasn't going to either. Elsa and I had our first moment together and I would rather not say anything about it. There was an awkward silence between us. "I'm going to go into town. I'll talk when I'm ready. Tell Elsa. Don't need her to worry." I finished my breakfast and headed into town. The people were very vibrant as always. Most of them remember me when I was little. Some of them were new to Corona. The villagers came up to me with several complaints about ink leaking out of the book shop. "How long has this been going on?" One of them said it started last night. "I'll check it out." The bookshop was right down the street from the bakery. The entrance to the bookshop was covered in thick, black ink. "Oh my god. What happened here?" I thought to myself. I pushed open the door. To my dismay there was a device called the Ink Machine sitting in the middle of the room. "Who built this? It couldn't have been Varian. His inventions are made to benefit Corona, not destroy it." Immediately the machine squirted out a splotch of ink. The ink started to form into a human like creature with horns on its head. "Oh, that's not good." I backed away to the door slowly. "I got to inform Mom and Dad about this." Before I could open the door the creature grabbed and threw me through the wall. I landed in the fountain outside of the bookshop. One of the villagers came up to help me out of the fountain. "Thank you." "Are you okay?" "I'm fine. Whatever that thing is, it's not earthly. I have to warn my parents and Elsa." I ran back all the way to the castle. I slipped in the entrance. "Ow! I need to get this ink off!" Elsa came to see what the commotion was about. "Jeremiah, are you okay? And why are you covered in ink?" "Elsa, we have a problem. I fear that what you felt yesterday was wrong came early. There's some sort of ink demon down at the bookshop. It came out of this ink machine. Before I could escape it threw me through a wall. It needs to be stopped before it can cause any harm." The village alarm went off. "Oh no! It's too late! Mom! Dad!" "Sweetie! What's wrong? And why are you covered in ink?" "I'll fill you in on the way. We need to get to the village right away!" We rushed as much as we could. The ink demon had already caused damage to the village. "Well Elsa, there goes our honeymoon. What are we going to do?" She looked at me and smiled. "We are going to make the best of it. So far, it has been the best! Where's the source?" "It's in the bookshop. It's already created several ink demons. We need to destroy the ink machine before it can create more of these creatures. I'm betting that the demon I encountered is guarding it. There must be a way to distract it. Elsa, can you create some illusions with your magic?" One of them opened a portal to a random place. That was no random place. That leads to Arendelle! "Elsa! One of them just teleported to Arendelle! This ink is more powerful than we thought! We have to warn Anna! Mom, you and Dad take care of things here. Elsa and I are going to Arendelle to warn Anna about the oncoming attack." "Okay, be safe." "I will Mom. Love you." Before the portal closed Elsa and I jumped through it landing in front of the castle. We were too late. The creature had multiplied. Elsa turned towards the forest. "There's a storm coming. The demons haven't gone to the forest yet. I must go warn the people of Ahtohallan." "Do what you have to do. I'll be here getting the villagers to safety." Elsa got on her water horse and went to the forest. The ink I was covered in crawled off my body and formed into an inky version of me. It then went to attack the village. "No, wait!" "Psst! Jeremiah! Look to the left." "Anna? What are you doing?" She came out of hiding. "Arendelle was preparing for its pie festival when suddenly a black creature covered in ink appeared. Where did it come from?" I told Anna everything. "Can this ink machine be destroyed?" "I don't know. There's only one way to find out and my mom is making sure to figure it out." I fell to my knees feeling weakened. "Oh no. Elsa's been captured by an evil sorceress. I should've gone with her!" I started to get frustrated. Anna had to calm me down. "Where did she go?" "She went to go warn Ahtohallan. I didn't think something bad would happen. Let's get the people to safety." Anna and I got the people to safety in an abandoned underground warehouse. The people were panicking left and right. Anna nudged me to calm them down. "Calm down. Panicking is not helping the situation at hand. Yes, there's a crisis going on above us. My mom is currently figuring out a way to stop these monsters on-" A bright light appeared above the crowd. It was the evil sorceress that kidnapped Elsa. "Greetings Arendelle. I'm Centra. Where is the Prince of Corona?" They pointed to me. "What do you want?" She chuckled. "So hostile. What I want doesn't matter. What you want does." She moved to the side to reveal Elsa chained to a stone wall. "Elsa! What did you do to her?" "Nothing, yet. Wanna know who planted that ink machine and how to stop it? Come to my lair past the Enchanted Forest. Alone." The bright light disappeared. I punched the wall behind me. "Hey! That's not helping! I'm going with you!" "No Anna. You are needed here. Form a resistance to fight against these ink demons. Defend Arendelle at all costs. Elsa entrusted you the position of being queen. It's your duty to make sure the people are safe." Anna sighed heavily. "Okay. For Elsa!" I packed what I needed for the journey to Centra's lair. It stormed along the way. A chill ran down my back upon arriving. "This is it. This is the end. Elsa, I'm coming for you." The doors eerily creaked open. I slowly walked in. The doors slammed shut. I noticed an ink fountain in the main hallway. It was Centra. She started this whole ink war. Above the fountain was a statue. Below the statue was an engraving that read "Bendy The Ink Demon". "That must be the demon guarding the ink machine back in Corona." I heard screaming coming from the end of the hallway. I ran to see what it was. "Elsa!" She stopped screaming and laid on the floor weakened. I ran to her. "Jeremiah, don't!" Before I could reach her Centra blasted me into a wall. "Wakey wakey heroic prince. Come to save your princess?" I groaned with pain. "Ugh, my head." I realized I was chained to a wall with Elsa next to me. "Elsa! Elsa, can you hear me?" "Don't bother. She's out cold." "What did you do to her?" "I extracted her ice powers to make my machine more powerful than ever. With Elsa out of the way there's no one to stop me. Not even you." She then started to monologue about her entire evil plan to take over all the kingdoms with an ink demon army. Failure was going through my head. I failed Anna. I promised her I would take care of Elsa and I failed her. Then I remembered a time when my mom told me to not let failure get the best of me. "Even when you fail, just keep going and keep trying. No matter what." I then remembered a myth about seven magical gems known as the Chaos Emeralds. They grant power to the person wielding them. I closed my eyes and called upon the Chaos Emeralds. The ground started to shake causing Centra to be confused. "What's happening? Stop that!" Seven bright lights broke through the other side of the room. "No! It can't can't be!" Centra cried out. I opened my eyes and the emeralds circled around me, breaking my chains and lifting me up into the air. "Let's do this!" I absorbed the emeralds and turned a bright gold. I was in the super form the myth was talking about. I couldn't believe it was real. I charged after Centra, ready to defeat her once and for all! "This changes nothing! I will be ruler over all the kingdoms!" She then turned into the Ink Demon of them all. "You're not going to get away with this Centra! I will stop you!" "I'd like to see you try!" I punched her in the stomach causing her to go through the wall. It was raining hard. Thunder and lightning were going crazy. Her swarms of demons were no match for me. "Let's finish this!" I head butted her several times in the stomach. She finally turned around to where I noticed a weak spot on her back. "Of course!" I hit the spot right below her neck. She howled in pain. "Gaah!" I hit it again. "No! I'm losing power!" I hit it one last time. Immediately Elsa regained her powers. Centra laid on the ground defeated. "It's over Centra. You've lost." "I will return. I will have my revenge!" She turned into dust. The storm went away. All the ink disappeared. I looked towards Arendelle and all the demons were gone. "Jeremiah!" I looked below to see Elsa. "Elsa!" I descended to the ground. "Elsa, you're okay! I thought I lost you." "No, I would never leave you. I saw everything. That was amazing! I'm proud of you and I'm proud to be the wife of a brave and courageous prince!" "Come on, let's go home. May I?" "Of course." I picked her up and kissed her. We flew back to Arendelle. Anna was waiting for us. "You did it! And I see the mythical Chaos Emeralds are real. That's how you were able to defeat Centra!" "Anna, I'm sorry. I broke our promise that I would take care of Elsa. I failed you." "No, you didn't. You followed your heart and went after her. I can't think of anyone else more deserving of Elsa's love than you. You guys were meant for each other." Anna put my hand into Elsa's. We smiled. "Uh, Jeremiah?" "Yes Elsa?" "You can turn normal now." "Oh right!" I turned the power of the emeralds off. "There. That's better." Elsa and I kissed. Our story only gets better from there. We became parents to a wonderful little girl, Anna and Kristoff got married, Olaf became a school teacher, my parents finally became king and queen of Corona. Life couldn't get any better. I stood on the edge of Ahtohallan looking into the distance knowing one day that evil will rise again and I will be there to stop it with the power of the Chaos Emeralds.
