A/N: Yoooo what's up My Hero Academia fans! I'm TDDolphin, and I'm new to the writing scene for this series! :)

As for what I'm bringing, it's a lengthy one-shot starring two characters from the series that I love, and who I am a fan of seeing get together even despite them having yet to meet in the story. Tenya Iida and Camie Utsushimi! Why write a story about these two? Well if I'm being honest. I was inspired by the CamIida stories written by Chumunga64. In my opinion, they write Tenya and Camie so well as a potential couple that I became a fan of their pairing almost instantly! So much so that I was inspired to write my own story centered around them! Which brings us to The Ishida Operation.

Hope you all enjoy the story :)

The beautiful fall day was approaching it's end as the sun began to set near U.A. High School. The students of Class 1-A had just returned from their latest hero training lesson at Gym Gamma. Most of them were exhausted, but there was also excitement mixed in with the air around the classroom. Students like Mina Ashido, Denki Kaminari and Minoru Mineta were itching for this day to end, while others like Izuku Midoriya, Tenya Iida and Momo Yaoyorozu remained focused for the entirety of their lessons.

It was hard though. It was now early November, and today was Thursday. But not just any Thursday. Once today was done, the students would be on a three-day break due to the U.A. staff being called to a meeting between all of the hero schools in Japan, where they were to go over some new policies to try and insure a safer and more efficient curriculum.

"Alright..." began their homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa, also known by his hero name, Eraserhead. "Now as I'm sure you're all aware. You've been given a three-day break after today. Principal Nezu and most of the teachers are going to a meeting between all of the schools. Due to the lack of activity from the League of Villains over the past month, you've been given permission to leave campus while on this three-day break should you choose. You're all to return to your dorms by five o'clock Sunday night. That's when the teachers are scheduled to return. I'm aware that some of you are going to visit family during this break. Or plan on doing a work study. But even though classes will be cancelled, you're all still heroes. Stay alert even while you're away. And always go beyond-"

"PLUS ULTRAAAA!" cried most of Class 1-A in excitement. Aizawa merely sighed in boredom.

"Whatever." he then turned to look at Izuku. "Midoriya, come see me after class."

"Y-Yes sir." said a nervous Deku.

"The rest of you. Have a good break."

"Thank you sir!" exclaimed the class, just as the school bell rang to finally end the day.

Tenya Iida, Class Representative of Class 1-A, approached the cabinet where he kept his hero costume and took the briefcase containing it along with him before returning to his desk to pack his backpack up. School had been out for about ten minutes, and in that time he heard what his fellow classmates planned to do for their three-day break.

"We should have a movie night tonight to celebrate!" yelled an excited Mina.

"Oooooh! That sounds so fun!" agreed the invisible Toru. "We could make popcorn too!"

"I'm down. That sounds awesome!" said Hanta Sero.

"May I suggest horror movies?" asked Tokoyami. Everyone else felt chills run down their spines.

"I'm... not sure I can handle those..." said the Vice President of Class 1-A, Momo Yaoyarozu, who looked rather pale.

"Yeah, we should watch something that everyone might like." Kaminari suggested. "Like action..."

"Spoken like a true teenaged boy." Kyoka Jiro rolled her eyes at the idea. This deflated Kaminari.

Mineta began to drool. "Three days off from school, and no teachers to watch us. This is the perfect time to sneak over to the girls' side of the dorms and watch them bat-" he didn't finish his lustful fantasy before Tsuyu Asui smacked him with her tongue.

"You're the worst Mineta." said the frog girl before approaching Iida. "Good luck on your Work-Study, Iida."

Tenya smiled at his classmate. "You have a great weekend too Tsu." The frog girl waved before leaving the room. Iida finished packing before bowing to his fellow rookie heroes. "I wish you all the best this weekend! And don't forget to return to Heights Alliance by five o'clock Sunday!" he said while doing his usual hand motions.

"See ya Iida!" replied the voices of Kirishima, Yaoyarozu and Ojiro.

As the new Ingenium left the class and walked down the hall, he heard a cheerful voice behind him. "Iida! Wait up!" Tenya turned to see his good friend Ochaco Ururaka running toward him, with his other friend Shoto Todoroki right behind her.

"Oh hello Ururaka. Todoroki." greeted the geeky teen. "Are you both on your way to the station too?"

"Yep!" replied Ochaco cheerfully as the three started walking together. "I can't wait to visit my parents. I haven't seen them since their surprise visit after the Sports Festival."

"I imagine you would be excited." said Iida before addressing his other friend. "And what are your plans this weekend Todoroki?"

"I'm... visiting my mother..." Shoto said quietly as they exited the school and entered the grounds. "Because of U.A.'s increased security, it's been a while since I've seen her. My sister and brother are coming with me. So I'm just going home for night." he looked at the briefcase Iida carried. "So, you're doing a Work-Study this weekend?"

"Yes." Iida replied. "Manual's agency is getting together to go after a criminal. I believe we're teaming up with the Hosu City Police Department for the operation as well."

"Wow. Sounds like a big job." Ochaco responded, as she thought about her large-scale work study from a couple months agao. Where she, Deku, Tsuyu, Kirishima, and their respective agencies teamed up against the Chie Hassaikai to rescue Eri. Even after several weeks, she still felt sad as she thought about Sir Nighteye. "Just... make sure you're careful, Iida."

"I promise that I will return to U.A. on Sunday."

Shoto on the other hand thought about how he needed to talk to his... well, it was still tough to call Endeavor his father, despite his vow to become a better hero. As much as Shoto still hated him, Endeavor was the new Number One hero, and he would be the best hero to intern with. Especially now that it had been a week since he and Bakugo had finally earned their provisional hero licenses.

"It's too bad Deku and Tsu couldn't walk with us to the station, huh?" Ochaco spoke aloud, bringing up the friendship that the five of them had formed during this year.

"Well that can't be helped." replied Todoroki. "Midoriya did promise Mr. Aizawa that he would look after Eri while he was away at the conference. I never asked what Asui was doing this weekend."

"I'm sure they'll both be alright." Iida reassured his friends. They spent the rest of the walk to Tatooin Station talking about random topics before bidding each other farewell and good luck. Iida walked over and boarded his bullet train. He found a seat close to the front of his car before sitting down and preparing for the long ride to Hosu City.

"Tensei." Iida thought of his brother as the train left the station. "I promise. I will make you proud!"

"Hey. Welcome to Hosu, little brother." Tensei greeted happily.

"Tensei, what're you doing here?!" Tenya yelled in complete shock as he saw his older brother sitting in his wheelchair in Manual's office.

"He'll be helping us out in a background role during this job." Manual answered his intern's question for Tensei. Tenya, realizing that he was so shocked about seeing his crippled older brother in his Hero-Work Study agency that he forgot to greet his boss, bowed quickly.

"Hello Manual. I'm sorry I forgot to greet you when I arrived!" exclaimed an embarassed Tenya to his boss, who merely chuckled at his protoge's seriousness. Tenya turned to address his brother again. "Tensei... are you sure you're up for hero work in your condition?"

Tensei merely smiled. "Well, like Manual said, I'll be helping out on this case in a background role, that way I won't be involved in the raid." he then motioned to Manual. "Besides, Manual and I have experience working together, so it was nice to meet an old friend. And he's an old friend who took on my little brother for a Work-Study."

"Big brother! You're embarassing me!" Tenya shouted while doing his chopping fit. This merely made the older Iida brother chuckle.

"Who all is supposed to be coming?" Tensei asked Manual.

"The police are in the conference room as we speak." the water quirk user replied. "Some of the local heroes are joining us too. Oh and before I forget..." Manual turned to the door. "Hey rookie! You still texting in there? Come on out and meet your partners for this operation!"

"OMG, chill fam." came a sultry female voice. "I was just letting my friends at school know I made it to Hosu safely."

The three males turned around to see a beautiful teenaged girl with medium-length, dirty-blonde hair, brown eyes and full, glossy lips. She was a head shorter than Tenya, and wore a black school uniform, hat, knee-high socks and brown shoes. They recognized this girl's uniform as the ones worn by the students of Shiketsu High School.

"Yo, how's it going?" Camie Utsushimi greeted pleasently.

"Ah, I recognize that hat. You're from Shiketsu High." Tensei wheeled over and shook the girl's hand. "I've heard great things about your school."

"Thanks fam." was Camie's response, which made Tensei sweatdrop. He didn't know what to say to that.

Manual rolled his eyes. "Camie here only recently got her provisional hero license after passing the remedial course. Shiketsu sent her to my agency this weekend to gain some Work-Study experience, so she'll be helping us for this operation. From what I've heard, she can be rather flighty and talkative, but she's very skilled."

"Well, having a bunch of pros, and students from both U.A. and Shiketsu working on this case will be a huge relief for the police working with us." Tensei said pleasently. "Are you excited Tenya?" when the elder Iida didn't get a reply, he turned to his younger brother. "Tenya?"

But Tenya didn't really hear his brother. He hadn't taken his eyes off of the beautiful blonde girl from Shiketsu since she had entered the room. Camie's beauty had captivated the usually serious teen in a way that no other girl had ever done before. Tenya couldn't explain the sensation bubbling up inside of him. It was an unfamiliar feeling to the uptight teen boy. For some reason his heart was racing a mile a minute, and his face felt flushed with color despite not feeling hot or cold.

"Hey bro... are you cool?" Camie asked Tenya in blissful ignorance to the boy's problem.

Tenya couldn't respond properly. Not only because he began to trip over his words, but because Camie seemed to be using a kind of street lingo that was unfamiliar to the boy. "I uh...umm... I'm uhhhhh..."

Tensei and Manual just stared in amusement. Tenya, with his face even redder than before, calmed himself enough to turn back to Camie and bowed politely. "Nice to meet you. I-I am Tenya Iida from U.A. High School. H-Hero name: Ingenium."

Camie smiled. "Aight, lit. Name's Camie Utsushimi from Shiketsu High. My hero name is Maboromicamie. Just call me Camie though, 'kay?" the two teens shook hands.

"Very well, Camie. I look forward to working with you."

"Ditto."

"Alright, now that we're all introduced, let's get to debriefing our job for tomorrow." said Manual as he walked out of the office, followed by Camie. Tenya watched Camie leave with a bright blush on his face, as though he had been hypnotized. He had never seen someone so breathtaking in his life.

"Tensei... I'm um... I feel... strange." Tenya stuttered to his brother, who chuckled loudly.

"Do you? Well congratulations Tenya. That feeling means that you're finally becoming a man." Tensei teased while rolling his wheelchair out of the office, leaving a stunned Tenya behind. The boy shook it off before following after his brother.

Tenya and Camie sat next to each other at a long conference table, surrounded by several police officers, the Hosu City Chief of Police, and some of the heroes that fought the Nomu during the Stain incident. Manual stood next to a large whiteboard, while Tensei sat close by with an open laptop. Tenya did his best to bury whatever was going on with him in regards to the girl next to him and put on a serious face. He was ready to learn about the mission that he would be participating in. He was ready to be a hero.

The lights turned off suddenly, and a projection screen appeared on the whiteboard behind Manual. It was a photo from a Japanese newspaper article, showing a middle-aged, rather portly man with wavy gray hair, black eyes and wearing a black business suit with a blue and white necktie.

"Shukuro Ishida." Tensei introduced the man to the room. "Chairman of Ishida Corporation, aka ICO, and the main target of our operation." Several other photos appeared on the screen of the man.

"His business is located right here in Hosu." Manual explained further. "And the police have reason to believe that he has been embezzling money from his business associates for years. ICO is a financing business, and over the last couple of years, Ishida's associates have noticed that the money they've been getting back hasn't equaled as much as the amounts that they've been providing."

The Hosu Police Chief stood up next. "We've been steadily building a case against Ishida over the last year with some of his former associates. And we've learned that tomorrow, he will be holding a private cruise for some of his current clients aboard his yacht: The S.S. Ishida." The projection replaced the pics of Ishida with images of a large, luxurious two-hundred foot yacht anchored at a dock.

"He named his ship after himself?" Tenya spoke quietly. "How egotistical."

"Right? What a tool." agreed Camie, making Tenya turn to her in surprise. He wasn't aware that she had heard him. The girl from Shiketsu suddenly raised her hand. "Yes, Camie." said Manual.

"Um, sorry if this seems outta whack..." she started innocently, though most of the older men in the room sat confused by whatever lingo she spoke. "But, if this Ishida loser is just a regular baddie, then why call on heroes to go get him?"

"Yes, it is rather strange." agreed Tenya with a hand on his chin. "While this man might be a criminal, a case of embezzling money is a crime that surely the police could handle themselves."

"Because Ishida is not the most dangerous of our targets." Tensei answered, pulling up another image on the projection screen from his laptop. "This guy is..."

The image was slightly blurry, and looked to have been taken by a drone. However, the assembled could clearly see an anthropomorphic shark, with blue skin, a white underside, sharp teeth in it's large mouth, muscular arms with claws and sharp fins on the elbows, webbed feet, and a fin sticking out from his neck. The shark man wore a black tanktop, baggy black colored jeans and black, spiky wristbands, and also looked very menacing.

"Kento Kashiwara." The Police Chief explained. "Alias: Mako. Quirk: Shark. He can pretty much do anything a shark can, while also being able to walk on land. That includes breathing underwater. He tends to retreat to the sea for long stretches of time whenever the police go after him. But he was recently spotted by one of Hosu's agents alongside Ishida." The projection displayed a couple of photos of Ishida and Mako engaging in conversation. "For what purpose, we're not sure. But it's highly likely that he will be aboard the S.S. Ishida when we go after Shukuro."

"So it's our job to deal with him?" Tenya asked.

"Yes." answered Manual. "Ishida is our main target for tomorrow, but a villain serving onboard increases the danger level for the police, so the heroes gathered here will be lending support."

"The Ishida will be departing from the docks close to Hosu tomorrow night at seven, and we'll move in at nine." informed the police chief as he pulled out a piece of paper from his shirt. "I already have the warrant filed. The plan is to ambush the yacht at sea with the Coast Guard. We'll catch Ishida in a place he won't be expecting us to be."

"As for the other passengers." Tensei spoke up next. "We'll need to plant at least two spies onto the ship to do a head count, that way we know how many people we'll need to help when we strike." He pulled out two invitations from his pocket. "Since I've done hero business with ICO in the past, I secured two invitations from a company insider for the invite-only party aboard the ship."

"But Tensei, you're still not healthy enough to return to the field!" Tenya yelled in alarm, rising from his chair hastily.

"I know little brother..." Tensei grinned. "Which is why I'm giving you and Camie these invitations." This news stunned Tenya into silence, and confused Camie next to him. "Ishida is unfamiliar with you being part of a hero agency, and since I might be too suspicious if I attend, you're the best pick to go in my place."

"Gucci! We get to go on a cruise!" cheered Camie, before Manual playfully chopped her head. "Owie!"

"Take this seriously Camie." groaned the water quirk user. "Even though this part of the mission might sound the least dangerous, you need to make sure not to draw attention to yourselves and raise Ishida's suspicions. You and Iida do a head count, relay the info and how tight the security is to us, and we'll send the proper number of backup when we set the trap."

"We won't let you down sir!" cried Tenya in a boisterous voice with his arm outstretched, making most of the room roll their eyes.

"Wow, you're kinda hardcore aren't ya?" Camie asked Tenya plainley, who flushed red in slight embarrassment.

"Very well." said the Hosu Police Chief. "It appears that we're all ready. That concludes this meeting. Everyone get plenty of rest tonight. We've got a lot of work to do tomorrow."

A full day had passed, and it was past eight o'clock on Friday night. The S.S. Ishida had pulled out from Hosu City over an hour ago, and was now anchored several miles off the coast of Japan. The city lights could still be seen in the distance, shining as bright as the stars in the sky.

Inside the yacht's ballroom, Tenya Iida walked around observing all of the activity between Ishida's guests. He was wearing a dark blue suit with a matching neck tie and brown shoes. He lifted his cuff to briefly look at a slim, metallic band adorning his wrist, with two tiny buttons. One blue and one green. He thought back to earlier that morning when he first got this item.

"What is this Tensei?" Tenya asked his elder brother.

"A band made by a top-class support company I work with." Tensei answered. Tenya cringed as he was reminded of a certain pink-haired mechanic who had made a fool of himself in front of the whole world at the Sports Festival. "It's a support item that's perfect for infiltrations. The blue button operates a radio that will be connected to me, so you can feed me information. And the green button will allow you to instantaneously swap into your hero costume from the suit you'll be wearing on the yacht."

"My hero costume will be inside here if I need it?" Tenya asked in awe. "That is truly amazing technology!"

Tensei chuckled as he stared at Tenya for a moment. "It's hard to believe." he began. "Here you are, approaching your second year at U.A., participating in Work-Studies, and having already fought villains at such a young age." Tensei reached up and held onto his brother's shoulders. "You've come a long way little brother. I'm proud of you."

Tenya was almost moved to tears by his role model's words. He had looked up Tensei as a great hero ever since he was a child, so to hear him offer such praise onto him was overwhelming. He bowed. "Thank you Tensei. I promise that I will continue to live up to your expectations."

Tensei nodded. "Yeah. I know you will." he then smirked. "Just don't let Camie distract you too much tonight, okay player?" His brother turned three shades of red instantly.

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN, TENSEI!" This made Tensei laugh out loud.

Tenya frowned at remembering his brother's teasing, but still swelled with pride from his brother's praise. "I'll do my best tonight, Tensei. And Manual too." He couldn't forget about his mentor's kindness after the Stain incident. He was really surprised that Manual had taken him back as a Work-Study after all the trouble he had caused back then. Tenya had promised that he would perform more like a hero from this point forward, to make it up to Manual for his kindness.

"Wow. Didn't know you could be such a snack in a suit Iida."

Tenya turned around at hearing Camie's voice, and his heartrate accelerated. She was wearing a dark blue dress, similar in color to Iida's suit, as well as high heels of a matching color and her own radio band from Tensei. He did his best to not stare at her, but it was hard. Her dress was low cut, showing off a good portion of her generously-endowed bosom. Her left leg was exposed up to mid-thigh, and the dress was snug enough to show off her curves in a way that her school uniform didn't last night. Camie was the definition of stunning.

"I... you're complimenting me right?" Tenya asked, still a little confused at how Camie talked.

"Duh!" Camie said with a playful eye roll. "You're not very street smart, are you?"

"I cannot say I am." Tenya replied bluntly. "I don't feel like I need to be in order to become a hero."

Camie was surprised at Iida's honest response. She shrugged. "Eh, that's aight. At least your honest about it."

Tenya grinned. He was pleasently surprised at himself for how well he was keeping calm in front of Camie considering how yesterday he struggled to even talk to her. Maybe it was because he was in hero mode right now, focusing to accomplish their mission, so he wasn't worrying too much about why she had captivated him so much. But it may have also been because of Camie's incredible social skills. She had a soothing prescence about her that eased Tenya's nerves, and he felt more confident in himself because of this feeling.

So much so, that he decided to reply to her earlier comment. "But since you complimented me... might I just say that you look stunning tonight."

Camie froze, unsure of how to respond. She felt herself blushing though.

She was used to guys hitting on her back at Shiketsu High, but they mainly came from one of either two types of guys. The first were the obvious perverts who were enamoured with her body. While the other were the guys who put on a show of confidence to try and impress her, while really only seeing her as a trophy to be won. Both types were obviously just looking to get laid, and it annoyed Camie to no end. The only boys she really liked at Shiketsu were her friends Inasa, Seiji and Nagamasa, though she didn't really consider any of them boyfriend material.

Camie didn't get that impression from Iida's compliment. She may not know him too well after just a day, but from what she's seen, Iida is super serious about pretty much everything. Kind of uptight, for sure, but at least genuine. So she had the impression that he meant what he just said, and had no ulterior motive for saying it. Someone genuinely saying that she looked stunning or beautiful was something that Camie wasn't used to, and she had to admit, it was nice breath of fresh air from what she was used to.

Camie smiled. "Wow Iida. Are you like, a closet player or something?"

"Huh?" Tenya balked. That wasn't the reaction he was expecting. This only made Camie giggle.

"J.K. Thanks Iida. That was sweet of you. I think you're the first guy whose told me I'm beautiful with honest sincerity."

Tenya's face flushed, but he smiled nonetheless. "I'm only speaking the truth though." Camie giggled again.

Several minutes passed by, and Tenya and Camie had wandered over to one of the buffet tables away from most of the guests so they could go over what they know. Tenya sipped on some punch, while Camie sampled a kabob of various meats from the buffet.

"OMG, this rich people meat is like nothing I've ever tasted before." Camie chewed happily.

"So, how many civilians have you counted since we boarded?" Iida asked in a business tone. Camie swallowed before answering.

"I counted about fifty-six people after walking three times around the yacht."

"Same here." Tenya pulled his phone out to check the time. "It's approaching eight-fifteen. We should find somewhere deserted and contact Manual about what we've found out."

"Right. Security doesn't seem to be too tight on this ship. And we haven't seen any sign of that shark villain yet."

"Me neither. Hmmm." Tenya put a hand to his chin. "Come to think of it. I don't think I've seen Ishida yet either. Isn't this supposed to be his party?"

"You called Master Iida?" came a voice from behind the teens. Tenya and Camie turned to see none other than Shukuro Ishida, flanked by two security guards. He stood there wearing a creepy looking grin.

"O-Oh, Mr. Ishida!" stuttered Tenya momentarily before regaining focus. "I didn't see you standing there! My apologies sir!"

Camie stared at Shukuro Ishida blankly before a light bulb went off in her head.

"Oh my, that food from earlier seems to have gone right through me." she said aloud, causing Tenya and Shukuro to turn to her. "Iida babe, I'm gonna go to the little girl's room real quick, aight?"

"Huh?" Tenya replied in confusion. Camie turned her back to Ishida before standing on her tip-toes to reach Tenya's face. He blushed from how close she was before she whispered in his right ear.

"Keep him busy."

Camie pulled away and winked at him so Ishida wouldn't see before walking away toward the restroom hallway. Tenya watched her go before he realized what she was doing. She was going to somewhere private so she could contact Manual and Tensei through her radio band. It was almost thirty minutes until the planned arrest, they had confirmation that Ishida was here, and their agencies needed to bring the right reinforcements to potentially protect the passengers.

"For someone supposedly flighty, she can be pretty clever." Iida thought with a grin.

"She's a beauty." Ishida interrupted Iida's thoughts. "Is she your girlfriend?" Tenya turned red at the idea, but remained calm as he answered.

"No, we met a couple of months back during our Provisional License Exam." That wasn't true of course. Midoriya had told him about how Himiko Toga of the League of Villains had impersonated Camie during the exam in order to, what he believed, gather intel on U.A. and the other schools. But it was at least a plausible lie since he did technically see a girl identical to Camie there. "I decided to invite her with me tonight."

"Ah, I see." Ishida replied. "Hoping to get lucky tonight, are we?" he teased with a perverted grin upon his face.

Tenya did his best to remain calm. How dare this pig of a man suggest he'd take advantage of Camie like that after the nice things she told him earlier. But then, Ishida hadn't been near him for that conversation.

"I must say, I was impressed by your performance during the Sports Fesitval. Fourth place is nothing to scoff at." Ishida continued. "I'm very sorry to hear about what happened to your brother. He was a fine hero who has done so much for our city, and I hope that the Hero Killer will remain behind bars until he dies for killing all of those heroes."

Tenya bowed. "thank you sir, I'm sure my brother would be honored by your praise." He did his best for the next few minutes to keep a conversation going with Ishida before the man left to attend to other matters. Camie reappeared a minute later after Ishida was out of sight. "Are the heroes and police ready?"

"Yep. I told them all we know and they're getting the ship ready to storm this place."

"Good." Iida saw that it was eight-thirty on his phone. "Just thirty minutes to go then."

Meanwhile, in an office close by to the party, Shukuro Ishida sat at a desk. "Those two kids are heroes. And I believe that they're working for a hero agency to spy on me." he explained to his guest.

Standing across from Ishida was the shark villain Mako, who flashed his razor-sharp teeth in an evil grin.

"So the Hosu police was onto me." he growled. "As well as your little operation."

"We can't let Tenya Iida leave this ship alive." said Ishida coldly. "We'll have to pull off the operation earlier than I planned. We must kill everyone on board and sink the ship now! They've already signed over a lengthy investment that should keep me secure while in hiding for a long time. There will be no need for them now, and they must never know what I've done, and the ship sinking will fetch me quite the check from the insurance company. Everyone will think the ship sank from a random villain attack. Little does everyone know that I hired you and your men to cover all of my loose ends."

"And you'll pay me for all of this." growled Mako evilly. "Don't forget."

"I haven't. You'll receive your payment after we safely leave this ship. We must move quickly though, I have no idea when or if the police will be onto us." Ishida grabbed a briefcase containing all of the money he embezzled from his financiers.

Mako stood up. He was so tall that his head almost touched the ceiling. "I'll have my men take care of the young heroes and passengers then. Hehehehe."

Tenya checked the time again. "Eight-fifty. Just ten more minutes to go."

"Should we find somewhere quiet and lie low while we wait? Camie suggested.

"I think we should stay here. Just in case something goes wrong, I don't want to leave these people alone."

Almost as soon as soon as he said that the doors all around the ballroom slammed open. About thirty thugs, either brandishing weapons or their quirks, charged into the room, laughing maniacally while somewhere a woman screamed, alerting Tenya and Camie to the commotion.

"Villains?!" Tenya shouted. "Where did they all come from?"

"So not lit!" yelled Camie as she and Iida ran over.

"Kill them all ya scum!" screamed a random villain as he raised his knife to attack the nearest person.

"RECIPRO!" shouted Iida as he dashed over in the blink of an eye to kick the villain in the face. The villain landed painfully on a nearby table unconscious.

"Why you-!" one of his buddies cried raising a gun, before Camie grabbed his shoulders from behind and spun around to knee him in the face. Camie landed close by Tenya as the two got ready for the rest of the enemies.

"Who are they?" cried a terrified bystander.

"Those kids just knocked a couple of those brutes out." pointed out another passenger.

"Everyone remain calm!" Tenya shouted to the passengers with authority before he and Camie both pressed the green buttons on their support bands. The teens were surrounded by a green light briefly, and when the light faded, Tenya and Camie stood wearing their hero costumes. "We're provisionally-licensed heroes, and the police will arrive in ten minutes time!"

"Crap, is this kid serious?" said a terrified thug.

"No one said anything about heroes on this job!" cried a female villain.

"We'll have to protect everyone for ten minutes before the heroes and police arrive." Tenya told his partner.

"In that case, I'll take the fifteen on the right." Camie replied confidently. "You take the fifteen on the left."

"What're you punks standin' around for?!" yelled one of the criminals. "There's thirty of us and two of them! Let's kill these kids!" The villains bellowed and charged forward.

"Recipro!" Tenya shouted, shooting forward to kick one villain in the gut before dodging the knife of another thug, spinning around and roundhouse kicking him the side, sending him flying into two of his partners.

On Camie's end, she was surrounded on all sides. "Brace yourself blondie." taunted a female villain as she jumped up with bladed fingers. "We're gonna mess that pretty face of yours all up!"

Camie just grinned before blowing pink smoke from her mouth, which hit the woman and her surrounding comrades. When they opened their eyes they were surprised to see Mako standing in front them wearing an evil grin, instead of Camie.

"Boss, what're you doing here?" asked the confused blade-fingered woman.

While she and her comrades were distracted, Camie ran up behind the villain and tripped her with her leg before cartwheeling over to kick another thug in the face. Camie then jumped onto another man's shoulders before performing a hurricanrana and knocking him out.

"What's going on?" cried a confused thug as the fake Mako disappeared.

"This bitch can make illusions that can distract us!" said another woman villain.

Back at Tenya's end, a giant, muscled villain swung a pipe into Iida's face, which sent the speed user's helmet flying away and leaving his face visible. He dodged another swing and counterattacked with another kick to the villain. It appeared as though these villains were just generic thugs, lacking any kind of threatening power. He backed away from his remaining foes and came back to back with Camie.

"I must say, your illusions are impressive." Tenya praised. "I thought that was the real Mako for a moment."

"Thanks Homie." Camie replied. "Your pretty quick on your feet yourself. You ready to finish off the rest?"

"Yes! Let's end this quickly!" Tenya said as a thug jumped at them with a flaming fist. Camie grabbed Tenya's back exhaust pipes and used them to spin around and kick the crook in the face, while Tenya kicked another thug away from them. The teens stayed close together to beat up the villains as they approached. They performed well together, doing team attacks with perfect synergy at certain points in the battle.

It took a couple of minutes to defeat all but one of the villains. "Damn you heroes!" roared the large villain from earlier, raising his pipe to swing down upon the two heroes.

"Recipro!" Iida shouted aloud, as his boosters started to charge up, Camie used Tenya's back as a springboard to jump up, avoiding the villain's pipe, and landed onto his head before using her quirk at close range. The villain opened his eyes to see that, somehow, Camie had grown roughly fifty feet high, and looked down on him with a victorious smirk. Terrified, the villain let out a scream.

The distraction worked. "BURST!" shouted Iida. The boosters fired him forward. He crashed his elbow into the last thug's gut, which sent him flying over to a corner of the ballroom away from him, Camie and the bystanders and crashing into the wall. After the smoke cleared, the villain was layed out upon the wall, out cold.

With all of the villains defeated, the passengers cheered and applauded the two student heroes for their bravery.

"That was incredible!"

"Such great teamwork!"

"Your quirks are awesome!"

Tenya and Camie smiled at the crowd, and then each other before high-fiving. Tenya bowed to the passengers they had successfully protected while Camie waved and blew kisses at the compliments they received.

"It was all in a day's work!" cried a passionate Tenya.

"Who wants an autograph?" joked Camie with a wink.

It was then that Tenya heard loud footsteps approaching their spot at high speeds before jumping into the air. He turned around to see someone large falling toward them. "LOOK OUT!" he screamed, pushing Camie out of the way before something crashed into the ground in the spot they had been standing only a millisecond before.

The two teens layed on the ground with Tenya on top of Camie, his head resting against her large bosom, much to his shock. "Uggggh, thanks for the save Iida." groaned Camie, who didn't appear freaked out by their awkward position.

"O-O-Of course!" uttered Iida shyly, before hastily getting up and helping his partner up. They turned to see the cloud of dust dispersing to reveal their attacker.

"You can't rely on anyone anymore you have to do everything yourself." said Mako in a monsterous voice. "I'm impressed with your speed, boy."

"Mako! So you were here! These are your men then?" Tenya asked furiously.

"Yeah, the useless scum." the giant shark replied dismissively. "Now it's my job to kill everyone and sink this ship. Ishida's promised me a pretty penny for this gig."

"So he's hired you as an assassin." Camie figured out. "So not cool!"

"With all of Ishida's investors dead, there wouldn't be anyone to testify against him for his embezzling." added Tenya. "You are a true villain indeed!"

Mako hadn't heard what Tenya said. The shark quirk user's nostrils suddenly flared up and he sniffed the air. He turned his massive head to face the two young heroes with sudden red eyes, and his teeth bared in an evil grin. "I smell blood..." he whispered darkly.

Camie looked confused for a moment before she turned to Tenya and gasped. "Iida, your face is bleeding!"

Tenya checked his left cheek and, sure enough, there was a small cut there that drew a small amount of blood. He must've gotten it from when he and Camie moved out of the way from Mako's attack. Then it hit him. Mako was a shark. Sharks could smell even a tiny drop of blood from quite a distance away, and the scent of blood attracted sharks to the point of frenzy. "Oh cr-!"

Iida didn't even get to finish his statement before Mako jumped after him. Tenya pushed Camie away before he stopped Mako's attack, holding onto his nose and chin to prevent the shark's mouth from clamping down on him.

"Ingenium!" cried Camie in fright. She tried to run to him to help before Tenya stopped her.

"Stay back Camie!" strained Tenya as he struggled to hold Mako back. "He seems... prioritized with me at the moment. Use this chance to get the passengers to safety! The heroes and police should be here any minute to help, and he may attack them in a frenzy if they're still here!" Tenya fell to one knee as he kept holding Mako back.

"Iida!"

"Don't worry about me!" Tenya struggled to say. "Prioritize the rescue and I'll keep this villain distracted while you get them out of here!"

Eventually Camie nodded. "Be careful... Tenya." she whispered to herself as she ran over to the hostages. "Everyone head to the front of the ship without freaking out! Help's on the way!" The terrified passengers didn't need to be told twice, as they filed out of the ballroom as quick as they could. After the last straggler left the room, Camie took one last look at Tenya before leaving herself.

"Damn it, let me go!" Mako roared. "Those people can't leave this ship!"

"I won't let you anywhere near them, Fiend!" Tenya roared as he fired his leg boosters up. Mako's red eyes widened. "Recipro Burst!" Tenya held onto Mako as he shot forward toward the wall at high speeds.

They crashed through one wall, then a second, after the third, the two entered a large indoor pool area, with an olympic-sized swimming pool and glass walls and ceiling, showing the night sky and the ship's decks outside. The recipro turned off as Tenya and Mako fell into the pool.

"You idiot!" Mako taunted as he escaped Tenya's grasp and swam away. "You just sent us into my element! I'm even more dangerous in the water than I am on land!" He swam at high speeds toward Iida before he slammed one of his arm fins into Tenya's gut.

The impact sent Tenya sailing, but he kept holding his breath. Before he knew what hit him, Mako had swam over and roundhouse kicked the teen in the ribs before swinging his arm fin again. Tenya tried to dodge, but his reflexes weren't fast enough underwater and was struck again. He kicked forward at Mako, but the shark just shot upward.

"What's the matter hero? Feeling a little slow in the water?" he taunted. "Cause I feel great quite frankly!" Mako kept the barrage of attacks going. He enjoyed toying with his prey before going in for the kill. All the while Iida wasn't able to move out of the way quick enough.

"Damn it!" Iida thought as he was slowly losing oxygen. "This villain is too quick for me in the water. I need to find a way to get him back on land. I'm running low on recipro, and I need to save what I have so I can finish Mako off." Mako struck Tenya again. "Damn it, I'm running low on air as well!"

"Hahahaha! Well this has been fun..." Mako laughed "but I think I'll end this now before I get bored..." Mako bounced off the pool wall and shot like a torpedo at Tenya. "Show me... YOUR BLOOD!" the shark opened his jaws wide.

Tenya braced himself. Was this really the end?

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Camie slammed both of her feet into Mako's face, sending him crashing twenty feet down to the pool floor. Tenya's eyes widened. Where did she come from? Camie's face puffed out. She dove into the water without having the chance to hold her breath, so she was starting to lose air. Camie began to kick toward the surface.

"Argh, you BITCH!" Mako roared with fury. "I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT!" he shot upward toward the Shiketsu student with his jaws open.

Tenya immediately activated Recipro and shot toward Mako. He may not be as fast in the water as he was on land, but it was still enough to catch up to the villain. Mako's eyes widened.

"WHAT!" he uttered before Tenya kicked him hard in the gut.

"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HER!" Tenya snapped as his kick sent Mako flying out of the pool.

Camie breached the surface at last and took a big gulp of air before swimming out of the pool. When she looked back, she saw Mako fly out of the water and into the air. A whirlpool formed within the pool as Tenya shot out like a rocket toward the airborn Mako and hit him with several kicks in quick succession.

"Ingenium!" she cried out.

"Reciprooooo!" Tenya shouted. Using Recipro Extend he flew above Mako at speeds greater than what his burst could do, before spinning rapidly with his leg extended.

"DAMN YOU, INGENIUM!" Mako snapped hatefully.

"TURBOOOO!" Tenya kicked Mako hard in the face, sending the shark villain flying down at high speeds and crashing hard into the ground. Camie covered her face as the impact sent dust flying everywhere. Tenya landed on the ground close by. His glasses were wet and cracked, and there was smoke coming from the exhaust pipes on his legs, but he looked alright regardless. The dust began to clear after a moment, and Tenya and Camie saw Mako's unconscious form layed out in a crater.

It was over. Tenya felt the pain in his body finally as he fell to one knee. Camie gasped as she ran to check on her partner. "Whoa, hey, you alright Iida?" she asked as she crouched by him.

"Yes. I think my quirk won't be usable for a little while, and I have a few bruises. But I'll be alright." Tenya answered "Thanks for helping me out down there."

Camie smiled. "Thanks for saving me too. I would've been shark food had you not stopped that psycho."

"How're the passengers?"

"Gucci. The police are checking on 'em now. They got here as we got outside."

Tenya smiled. "That's good. The heroes should have things under control now."

The two stood up and turned to see Mako still layed out on the ground. "That move was fire Iida!" Camie praised. "Was that one of your special moves? I can't believe your class is so far ahead in just year one."

"Yes it was, and thank you." Tenya said in his serious tone as he did his usual hand motions. "I strive to be best hero that I can be. As Class Rep I have an obligation to my classmates and my school to set an example for them and to represent them with the qualities neccessary for a hero-"

Camie sweatdropped as he continued his Iida tirade. "Bro, chill, I get it. Jeez, you can be such a dork sometimes, can't you?"

Tenya stopped immediately and blushed in embarassment. "I see. My mistake. I admit that I have a habit of doing that." Camie rolled her eyes playfully.

Before Camie could reply though, she shrieked. Tenya spun around in fright to see what was wrong, and saw the crooked businessman, Shukuro Ishida, holding Camie around the neck ten feet away with a revolver pointed at her head.

"Camie!" Tenya screamed.

"Don't move boy!" Ishida spat angrily. "Not unless you want your pretty little girlfriend's brains splattered on the glass!" he chuckled evilly with a nasty grin.

"Damn you Ishida! Where did you even come from?"

"I tried to sneak out of here on my ship's lifeboat. But then I saw the Coast Guard's ships approaching and realized that I wasn't going to make it in time. So now I'm left with no choice." he pointed his gun at Tenya. "I know that that band around your arm has a microphone. So I want you to tell your hero and police friends to BACK OFF! Before I ruin this poor girl's beautiful face!"

"Let her go!" Tenya yelled furiously before his injuries flared up again. He fell to one knee.

"Ah ah ah." Ishida taunted with that cocky grin. "I know you burned out your quirk from disposing of Mako. You can't do much now, so you're in no position to make threats to me, boy!"

Tenya gritted his teeth as he looked up at Ishida. It was then that he noticed something off. Camie was bound by Ishida's arm, but she looked neutral, like she wasn't afraid. Then Camie winked at Tenya, and the realization finally hit him.

"Now!" Ishida continued, not having noticed a thing. "This is the last time I'll tell you! You want to be a hero right, boy? So do the right thing and call off the heroes and let me leave this ship with my money! Only then will I let your lady go!"

Tenya smirked. "No, I don't think I will."

"WHAT!" cried Ishida in shock. It was then that Camie disappeared from his grasp in a puff of smoke. "Where did she go?" he panicked.

"Right behind ya, big boy." Ishida didn't get to spin around before Camie knocked the old embezzler into the ground and yanked his arm to get him to drop his gun. She kicked it away before restraining the man better.

"What did you do?" screamed Ishida as he struggled.

"You had taken an illusion hostage, Ishida!" Tenya said smugly. "She used her quirk the second before you grabbed her to manipulate you into thinking you had the real Camie held hostage, but it was all a trick!" Shukuro Ishida's face tightened in disbelief. "It's over, Ishida!" Tenya cried heroically. "Your life of crime ends here!"

Camie rolled her eyes. "Yep, he's a total dork. But that's not so bad."

"Ingenium!" Tenya looked to see Manual and several police officers running toward them.

"Manual! We've captured Ishida!" Camie got up off Ishida as the police surrounded him.

"Good." replied the Hosu Chief of Police as he glared down at the terrified businessman. "Shukuro Ishida. You are under arrest for the crimes of fraud and embezzlement!" he then put Ishida in handcuffs.

Tenya and Camie smiled. And just like that, their operation was over.

It was after eleven now, and the police and heroes took turns interviewing the clients of Ishida and taking the statements from Camie and Tenya, while Mako and Ishida himself were led toward the Coast Guard's ship for quarantine. Mako was now wearing a mask to prevent him from using his sharp teeth. Not far behind were the rest of his gang being led away in cuffs. Overall, the operation had been success, in spite of the number of villains being more than what was expected from the heroes.

Tenya was sitting down on a lounge chair being examined by the paramedics, with Camie sitting next to him. She had no injuries after their ordeal, to which Iida was thankful for. He on the other hand had some bruising around the ribs after Mako's onslaught, however it was nothig that Recovery Girl couldn't fix when he returned to U.A. High on Sunday.

"So, are you sure you're gonna be alright, Iida?" Camie asked with concern.

"Yes. I'll get my injuries fixed up when I return to school." Tenya replied. "Honestly, I'm just glad you and everyone else are unharmed."

Camie frowned before bonking Iida's head. "Well, I'm not happy about you being the only one hurt, you jerk! Why did you have to be such a damn hero back there?"

"Huh?" balked Tenya. "Because that's what I'm learning to become! And a hero should always be willing to protect those in danger. Even if, I might've gotten hurt in the process."

Camie pouted before turning away from the boy. "I was still worried about you." This made Tenya's eyes widen.

"I see, well in that case. I apologize for making you worried!" Tenya stood up and bowed multiple times, making Camie sweatdrop. "It was not my intention to upset and I promise to make it up to you however I-" he cringed in pain before he could finish, having pulled something in his ribs.

"Ahhh! See what you did now, ya Dumby!" Camie panicked as she checked on Tenya again, before she found herself laughing in relief.

Manual and Tensei approached the two teens, who stood up to greet them. "You two did a great job." praised Tensei, brandishing the suitcase that Ishida was trying to smuggle out with him. "We found this during our investigation. It contained millions of yen that he had conned from his clients."

"What about Sharkboy?" Camie asked.

"Well, he'll get two additional attempted murder charges on top of the other crimes he's comitted over the years." answered Manual. "He'll be in Tartarus for a long time."

Tensei rolled over to his brother. "Tenya. You've done me proud, little brother." he grabbed hold of Tenya's hand, and he looked close to tears. "You protected everyone on board, saved your partner, and stopped a villain from committing terrible crimes in the future. And you accomplished all of that while only sustaining minor wounds. I couldn't be more proud of the hero you're becoming."

Tenya was overwhelmed once again by his brother's words. But unlike last time, he was brought to tears. He couldn't help himself. Anyone would cry tears of joy after receiving such praise from their favorite hero. Camie looked concerned, and held his shoulder in comfort. Tenya reciprocated by touching her hand, while using his other to try to wipe his tears away, but he was like a leaky faucet currently as the tears kept falling.

"Thank you Tensei." choked Tenya. "T-Thank you s-so much."

Camie smiled brightly. "Here Shark Slayer, you can cry on my shoulder." Manual and Tensei chuckled as Tenya obliged and let the girl hold him for a minute as he continued crying.

The investigation of the S.S. Ishida took until early the next morning. Afterward, the police steered the ship behind the Coast Guard as they returned to Hosu City. For the entire trip, Shukuro Ishida and Mako remained in quarantine. The Ishida finally docked in Hosu at noon Saturday, and news of the crooked businessman and violent villain's arrests had spread like wildfire during the night, so the media was all over the docks as the heroes, police, passengers and villains disembarked the ship. Tenya, Camie, Tensei, Manual and the Chief of Police each gave statements to the media, with Tenya and Camie receiving high praise from the numerous passengers for keeping things so well in control by themselves.

It took another few hours for the media circus to end, and Tenya and Camie were finally allowed to leave with Manual and Tensei. The news crew were particularly interested in hearing from the two hero students, since they were the ones who had actually defeated Mako and captured Ishida. One of the reporters asked for Tenya's hero name. After a reassuring glance at his brother, who nodded. The youngest Iida replied with a confident smile.

He finally felt that he redeemed himself enough after the Stain incident, and he was finally ready to accept his brother's name.

"I am Ingenium!"

It was now Sunday morning, and Tenya, Camie, Manual and Tensei stood together at the entrance to Hosu City's train station. Tenya and Camie were each dressed in their respective school's uniforms and they held their bags and the suitcases containing their hero costumes. It was time for them to return to school.

"I look forward to your return, Ingenium." Manual said as he shook Tenya's hand.

"Thank you sir!" exclaimed Tenya with another comical bow, making the water hero sweatdrop. "I look forward to learning more from you!"

"Haha." Manual shook Camie's hand next. "Thank you for your help this weekend. Good luck with your studies and future hero work."

"Thanks for having me, fam! I had fun!" Camie replied brightly. Tensei then rolled over to the girl.

"Thank you for looking out for my brother." Tensei said as they shook hands too. "I hope to see you around more often."

"Aww, you're sweet." giggled Camie, as Tenya's face blushed crimson at his brother's suggestion. "Maybe I'll take you up on that." she finished as she winked at Tenya, whose face became even redder.

"Wait, would she really not mind seeing me again?"

Tensei interrupted his brother's thoughts. "Good luck back at U.A. Tenya. It was nice working with you." Tenya grinned as he grasped his brother's hand.

"Thanks, Big Brother. Give my love to Mother and Father for me."

Tensei nodded. After all of the goodbyes had been exchanged, Tenya and Camie turned to walk toward the station entrance. "Bye, older Iida! Bye Waterboy! Catch ya on the flipside!" Camie cheerfully called out before they entered the station. "You're part of a cool agency Iida."

"Yes. Manual is a great hero." Tenya agreed. "I'm honored to be working with such a positive role model." he couldn't tell Camie about his part in the Hosu incident, but he was still grateful to the man for forgiving his foolishness that night.

"And your bro's real nice. He was the original Ingenium, right? I had heard about what happened to him online."

Tenya frowned slightly. "Yes, he was. But he was forced to leave active duty after he was attacked by the Hero Killer Stain." Just thinking of the man made the boy angry, but he kept his cool as he continued. "Afterward, he told me that he wanted me to inherit his name, but for a while I didn't think I deserved such an honor. But now, I think I'm finally confident enough to take the Ingenium name, so I can make my family proud."

Camie smiled. "That's good. Ingenium's a pretty cool hero name."

This made Iida blush and chuckle. "So, where's your train located? I don't mind escorting you there."

"Oooh, my hero!" joked Camie, making Tenya blush again, before replying more seriously. "Sure, that'd be gucci."

It took several minutes for the two teens to make it past the ticket inspectors and reach the bullet train heading for Shiketsu High. When they reached it, Tenya and Camie turned to each other.

"It was tots cool meeting you, Iida!" said Camie brightly with a polite bow.

"You as well, Camie." Tenya replied politely with his own bow. He didn't want to just leave the conversation there however. The two had known each other for a couple days, but most of that was for hero work. Tenya liked Camie, if he was being honest with himself (finally), and he wanted to try and spend some more time with her, or at least get to know her better. Even if the two attended different schools that were hours apart.

And so, Tenya Iida, Class Rep of Class 1-A and usual tight-ass student, decided to go for it. "Before you go... if you don't mind Camie." he trailed off, his heart beat had gotten faster, and he was starting to feel hot.

"Hmm." Camie stared in confusion with her lips pursed.

Before he lost his nerve, Iida continued. "Because of our Work-Study, we didn't really have much time to get to know each other. And I would... love to see you again soon. If you don't mind of course."

Camie didn't respond for a hot minute, but her face blushed scarlet. Was he asking her out? Iida hadn't worded it like that, but she could see from his blushing face and from his nervous expression and stutter, that he might've been trying to. If Camie was honest, she was kinda hoping to see more of Tenya after today. In the two days that she did know Iida, he had eclipsed every other guy who ever tried to ask her out before. He might've been a little nerdy, but he was chivalrous, polite, and he didn't look at her, or talk to her, like she was an object. He was handsome too, she had to admit. The definition of a hot nerd. Maybe... maybe he could be her type.

Tenya looked nervous. Afraid that he had creeped her out with his suggestion. But then Camie smiled brightly.

"That would be so lit!" she said excitedly. "I'd love to see you again. You're not only a total snack, but you're also a great hero and you treat me like an actual person!"

Tenya was surprised, but it only took a second for his surprise to be replaced with absolute elation. "Thank you so much."

Camie giggled. "Just tellin' it like it is!" she then gave Tenya a seductive look. "So, when's our first date, bae?"

Tenya stood rooted to the spot. "Date? Are you sure that's okay? I thought I heard that Shiketsu students weren't allowed to date at their school."

"Your right..." Camie admitted, before leaning up to Tenya's ear to whisper. "But you're not a Shiketsu student, are ya big guy?" she then stunned the boy by giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. Tenya almost fainted.

"I-I see." muttered a gobsmacked Tenya as he adjusted his glasses. "In that case, could I have your phone number?"

Tenya and Camie exchanged numbers before making plans to text each other later that night, to hopefully make plans to meet again soon. The whistle then sounded, meaning it was time for Camie's train to begin final boarding.

"Take care, new B.F." Camie waved happily. "Text me later to let me know you made it home, 'kay?" she then boarded her train as Tenya waved back. A couple moments later, the train began to pull out of the station. Tenya watched Camie's train leave until it was beyond his line of sight before travelling to his own destination, feeling giddier and walking with a lighter step then normal.

"I suppose Tensei will get his wish sooner than he thought!"

"Holy crap Iida! You're Work-Study made the news!" yelled Eijiro Kirishima as he showed his phone, which displayed a news article of what the media dubbed the "Ishida Operation". "That's awesome, dude!"

It was just before four o'clock at U.A.'s Heights Alliance dorms. Tenya had made it back rather early that day so he could have Recovery Girl fix up his wounds, and the sun was beginning to set. Almost everyone from Class 1-A had made it back safely from their weekend excursions, with the only one's currently missing being Midoriya and Asui. It appeared as though Iida's Work-Study had made the news, and the operation was currently the talk of the dorm.

"Nonsense Kirishima." replied Iida modestly. "I was just performing the duties expected from a hero."

"Oh stop being modest, Iida!" Mina said excitedly. "This is totally cool!"

"Corrupt Businessman Shukuro Ishida was arrested late Friday night on his private Yacht, the S.S. Ishida." Denki Kaminari read the article on his own phone. "Over the last couple years, Ishida had been embezzling money from his company's clients and investors."

Momo Yaoyorozu read the next part. "In an effort to cover his tracks, he invited his clients for a party aboard his yacht, where he hired the shark villain Mako to kill them all and sink his ship so that he could escape scot-free."

Tokoyami read next. "He was only stopped thanks to the efforts of both the Hosu City Police Department and the Manual Hero Agency, whose young U.A High intern, Ingenium, stopped the villain. While his partner from Shiketsu High, Maboromicamie, secured Ishida before the police and heroes arrived. All fifty-six hostages were reported to be unharmed after the incident."

"That's so cool, Iida!" shouted an excited Ochaco. "They mention you by name! You're famous now!"

Tenya adjusted his glasses while turning away to hide his blush. "I appreciate the praise, but really it was nothing."

"Eh fine. Keep being modest you big hero." joked Kyoka after reading the article on her phone as well.

"I'm just glad you came back safe." Todoroki said to his friend.

"Thank you, Todoroki. How was both of your family visits?"

"Fine." replied the Fire and Ice quirk user. "My dad didn't show up to ruin anything, and my mom was in good spirits the whole trip. I promised I'd make plans to see her again soon."

"We mostly went shopping for the weekend." Uraraka explained. "I was just happy to see my parents again, so I didn't care what we did."

"Hey guys." came a new voice. Tenya, Ochaco and Shoto turned to see that Midoriya had finally arrived back with Eri being held in his arms, along with Tsuyu right behind him. "Sorry we're a little late getting back."

"We're still an hour away from the curfew, ribbit." pointed out Asui.

"Deku, Tsu, you're back!" said a happy Uraraka. She then smiled at the lttle girl in Eri's arm. "Hi Eri. How're you doing?"

Eri yawned. "I'm tired."

"She had a fun weekend, needless to say." Tsu said as she patted Eri's head.

"How do you know that?" Todoroki asked.

"Oh, Tsu helped me look after Eri quite a bit this weekend." replied Izuku.

"I didn't really have anything planned this weekend." explained the frog girl. "And Midoriya was a nervous wreck about watching Eri for the weekend while Mr. Aizawa was away, so I offered to help him look after her."

"Aww. That was nice of you Tsu." said Ochaco.

"I'm sure you both did a great job looking after young Eri." Tenya chimed in.

"Oh yeah, she said she had a fun time anyway." answered Izuku with a happy grin. "Right Eri?" The little girl nodded before yawning again. "Poor girl, you must be tired after such a fun weekend." the inheritor of One-For-All turned to his friends. "I'm gonna take Eri back to Mr. Aizawa. I wanna hear all about you Work-Study when I get back, Iida!"

"Yeah me too, ribbit." Tsu croaked.

Eri waved goodbye before she and Izuku left. "Bye Froppy. Thanks for watching me with Deku."

"Have a good night, Eri." replied Tsuyu happily. "Sweet dreams, ribbit."

"Bye Uravy. Bye Iinda. Bye Todo." Eri said to the other three using her nicknames for them, making Ochaco flush red. Adorablllllllllllle!" Midoriya and Eri then left the dorm. The other four walked back to mingle with the rest of the class until Midoriya came back ten minutes later. The classmates then began to relax for the rest of the night.

It was then that Iida finally decided to check his phone while everyone was distracted. Sure enough, Camie had sent him a message. "Heya! Make it home safe?"

"Yes I did. You too I hope." Iida typed back with a smile.

"Sure did! Inasa and Seiji were freakin' over our job with Ishida!"

"I would imagine so. It's currently the big topic of discussion for my class."

"Bet they loved hearing about what you did against Mako, you big hero ;)"

Iida blushed at Camie's praise before he responded back. "Now now, don't sell yourself short. You did outsmart and apprehend Ishida."

"Aww your sweet ;) So, when do you wanna meet up again?"

The two new lovers continued to texted back and forth for a while as they formulated a plan for their next meeting. Actually, Iida might as well call it what it actually was. They were planning for their first date. They decided that she would take the bullet train to meet him here on Saturday at noon. That way they could make a full day out of it. It still felt surreal to the engine quirk user that he was seeing a girl as beautiful as Camie. He swelled with joy at his good fortune, and he hoped that this Saturday would only be the first of many dates in the future.

As he twiddled away on his phone, Bakugo sat in a corner away from everyone else reading the article about Ishida's arrest. A certain name got his attention. "So I got a question." he said aloud, gaining everyone's attention. "Who the hell is Maboromicamie?"

Iida froze instantly. It was Todoroki who answered. "Don't you remember? She was that talkative girl from Shiketsu who took the Remedial classes with us. Camie."

Bakugo thought on it for a moment before finally remembering. "Ah right. That bimbo."

That insult toward his new girlfriend riled Tenya's anger up. Before he could say anything though, Izuku said. "You mean that girl that the League of Villains impersonated?" he turned to his friend. "You teamed up with her during your Work-Study?"

"Uh. I umm..." Tenya stuttered as he got nervous. "Yes. I did. Camie and I worked together to stop Ishida and Mako."

"Wow, you lucky dog." Denki complimented. "Teaming up with a total babe while heroing."

Mineta elbowed Midoriya playfully while chuckling. "Awww, too bad Midoriya. Guess you can't have all the ladies, huh?"

"HUUUUH?" Izuku freaked out with a red face. "B-B-But, I told you it wasn't like that during the exams!"

"Ah, it's cool." Mineta assured his friend. "It's not like Iida had the balls to ask her out either."

All nineteen classmates turned to look at their class rep to see how he would respond to this attack on his manhood. Only to see him looking away shrewdly with a flushed face, whistling nervously.

Mineta's eyes widened in terror, while damn ear everyone else's widened in total shock, even Bakugo.

"No way. Iida?" whispered Ochaco in shock.

"No, it's not true." Mineta stuttered. "That's impossible. She couldn't possibly..."

"Iida. Are you..." Izuku struggled to come up with the words. "Are you really seeing Camie?"

Yaoyarozu, Mina and Aoyama sat with their hands covering their mouths. Kaminari, Sero and Mineta's jaws all dropped. Even Bakugo and Todoroki were at a loss for words and just stared in disbelief at Iida.

"Wow, super manly dude!" Kirishima congratulated while flexing his arm.

Tsuyu placed a finger to her mouth. "Wow Iida. I didn't take you to be such a smooth operator."

"Now hold on, Tsu." Denki interrupted. "He hasn't said yes yet. For all we know, we could be totally jumping the gun."

Tenya was left rooted to the spot. Unsure how to answer. He hadn't planned on telling his classmates about him and Camie so soon. He wanted to give it a few weeks, to see where things between them went before telling his friends about the two of them. He looked over, and nineteen pairs of eyes were boring holes into him, waiting for a reponse to their inquiry. It was then that his phone beeped. Tenya looked down at it, and like vultures swarming a dead carcass, all of his classmates dashed over to behind the seat Iida sat at to see the latest message sent to him from Camie.

"Goodnight Tenya! Can't wait for our date Saturday ;) XOXO"

Tenya blushed scarlet at her calling him by his first name. His classmates however stood behind him flabberghasted at the revelation they had just seen.

"WHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!" echoed the combined voices of the shocked Class 1-A.

So what did you all think? Love it? Hate it? Indifferent to it? Let me know with a review. I don't normally write one-shot stories, but when I do I try to make them long and enjoyable.

Also, did you like the sprinklings of DekuSquad throughout the story? I've become quite a fan of that friendship since I started watching MHA, and I wanted to include some snippets of it. I'm thinking of writing another story that takes place during the same weekend as this story, that focuses on Izuku and Tsuyu looking after Eri like I hinted at in the end. Let me know if you want to see that, and hopefully I will see you all later :)
