Okay, this is the last new Story I'm going to post for some time. I was asking during my Luigi's and Daisy's Mansion Story if I even thought of doing a Danny Phantom and Luigi's Mansion crossover. And that's not what this is. I never thought about doing one those but I have thought of different Danny Phantom and Mario crossovers a few times. This idea is one of the few ideas I got when I was playing my Super Mario Galaxy game for my Wii. Do you guys/girls remember Rosalina? Well, I thought Danny and Rosalina could not only be good friends, due to Danny loves space and Rosalina being the Watcher of the cosmos, but the two might find themselves falling for each other.
Put the pitchforks and torches down and let me explain. I know Rosalina is way older than Danny but think about it. From the side story about Rosalina in Super Mario Galaxy, Rosalina has been traveling ever since she was little and never had a chance to live like everyone else. So during her traveling, she comes across another earth that far different than the one she been visiting. Seeing how different the world is and wanted to hide what she truly is until she decides if the planet should know, she disguises herself as a teenage girl to fit in. She then meets Danny and things kick off from there. So let's start with Roslina and Danny meeting and Roselina is the only Mario character in this story but I will mention the others. So in the words of Mario, Let's-a-go!
This planet was so different than the one she was used to. There were no kingdoms, no princess, and no giant monstrous fire-breathing turtle. The place looks more advice than the other world. She was glad that she took up the body of a 14-year-old girl to try and fit in. Though she wondering why everyone here was talking about a ghost kid that help or plans to destroy the town. She has seen many things during her travels, but she never thought there was a planet that believes in ghosts. She doesn't find it too far fetched though, again due to her travels. Amity Park was where she was and there was something about this town that drew her here.
She sat outside of a classroom, waiting to be called in. Since she wasn't sure about this world, she told the principal that she was a transfer student, from Comet High. Soon the door open and an overweight balding man comes out to see her.
"Alright, Miss Luma. We're ready for you." He said.
'Well, at least he doesn't smell like another overweight I know.' She thought and enter the classroom.
She saw a lot of people looking at her and knew she had to act differently than who she really was.
"Alright class, we have a new student joining us today..." The teacher started before the door bust open.
"Late again Mr. Fenton." The Teacher said.
"Sorry, Mr. Lancer. My dad was showing off a new invention and it took longer than I thought to get him to know I need to get to school. My mom called the school ahead of time." The boy said.
The teacher, that she now knew as Mr. Lancer, walk to his desk and pull out a note. True enough, there was a call from Mrs. Fenton that was informing them that their son was running late due to Mr. Fenton keeping him home longer.
"Very well, take your seat." Mr. Lancer said.
'That's strange, even though I'm not using any of my magic I picking up small traces of mystery energy from him.' She thought.
"Alright, class this a new transfer student from Comet High. Care to tell us a bit about yourself?" Mr. Lancer spoke, breaking her out of her thoughts.
"Hello everyone, my name is Rosalina Luma. I hope I can be part of this school here." She said shyly.
'I can't let them know until I can trust this planet.' Rosalina thought.
"A shy one huh, well don't worry Ms. Luma, you fit in here in a few days. Now there an empty seat behind Mr. Fenton, you can sit there." Mr. Lancer said.
"Thank you, Mr. Lancer," Rosalina said and found the seat.
When she passed the boy again, she picks up the strange energy again, only this time a bit stronger.
"Huh, hi? Welcome to Casper High." He said.
"Um, yes, thank you," Rosalina said nervously and took her seat.
"I'm Daniel by the way, but everyone calls me Danny." The boy said turning to face her.
"Nice to met you, Danny," Rosalina said shyly.
There was something about this boy that she couldn't shake. Whatever that energy is, he seems to have no clue about it. AS much as she wanted to ask him about it, she couldn't think of a way to ask without giving herself away.
Later...
Rosalina opens her new locker and grabs her books. She sighs at the lesson she just had with Mr. Lancer. She couldn't blame some of the students wanting to fall asleep during class. Mr. Lancer was a nice person, but he was dragging the lesson on so much, he sounds boring! She knew her mother had taught her that it was important to pay attention in classes, but there was only so much she could take.
'Wow, is this what a teenager feels like? I haven't been one in so long.' Rosalina thought.
It wasn't long before she saw the same boy again, with time with another boy and a girl. From the way the three were talking, they appear to be friends. Still remembering about the energy she picks up, she thought maybe she could at least talk to him. Before she could step up another boy block her path. She knew who this was. Dash Baxter if she could recall. She has seen him around the school along with a few other people. However, she knew his true colors after using a bit of her magic, to read his feelings and she didn't like what she saw.
"Hey, there babe, name's Dash Baxter. Do you like football?" He told her.
While she might act like a shy 14-year-girl, that doesn't mean she could let out a bit of her true self.
"I'm familiar with the sport, but base on who you ask, it also is another name for soccer. But I never play thought games yet. So I can't tell you if I like football or not. But I can tell you that there something about you I don't like. At least the players at my old school were smarter than you." She said.
Dash just stood there shocked as did everyone else in the hallway. Rosalina thought she heard someone whisper, "Oh, he got burned."
"What did you say?" Dash asks angrily.
"I had some people hit on me before and I was never interested in those that think because they are better than everyone else. I already know one big brute that thinks he better than everyone else and I can tell you another one. So Dash, if you were plan on asking me out, sorry to say that I'm not interested." Rosalina said and walk around the shock blonde.
She walks up to the three who were shocked by how she not only turn Dash down but insulted him.
"Hi, Danny." She said, going back to being shy.
"Wow, that was awesome!" Danny said.
"It was?" She asked, confuse.
"Yeah, you did not only turn Dash down, but you also knock him down a peg. Way ago Rosalina!" Danny smile.
"T-Thanks." Rosalina blush.
Maybe she let her true self show a little too much there.
"Uh, Danny? Who is this?" The girl asked with a frown on her face.
"Oh, right, Rosalina, these are my best friends, Sam Mansion and Tucker Foley. Sam, Tucker, this is Rosalina. She the new transfer student." Danny introduce.
Rosalina uses a bit of her magic to read a bit about Danny's friends and could see their true selves. She could tell with Tucker, that he was going to try the same thing as Dash, but he did have a good heart. Sam was different, she too had a good heart but she could see some anger aim had her. Why? She didn't know. But there are Danny's friends so she should get along with them.
"Nice to meet you," Rosalina said and bow a bit.
"Yeah, sure it is," Sam grumble.
"Well then, maybe you like to..." Tucker started to say, but Rosalina stops him.
"Sorry, but like I told Dash, I'm not interested. Plus we just met, I don't want to rush in a relationship." She said.
"Oh, man!" He groans.
"So do you need help getting to your next class?" Danny asked.
"I can manage, I was actually was hoping I can talk to you," Rosalina said.
"About what?" Danny asked, confuse.
As much as she wants to bring up the energy she could feel coming from him, there were too many eyes and eyes. She has to want until later when there no people around.
"Is it true that this town believes in ghosts?" She asked.
"Um, yeah. Amity Park is known for its ghosts attacks." Sam scoff.
"Sam, cool it, she's a transfer student. There a chance that not everyone hears about Amity Park, so she might not believes in ghosts herself." Tucker told her.
"I do. But this is the first town I been in that has them." Rosalina clear up.
"By Rosalina, I like your star necklace," Danny said.
Rosalina remembers that she was no longer wearing her light blue gown. When she turns into a teenage girl, she changes her clothes. She now wears a light blue long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes. While her hair remains the same, her brooch was turned into a necklace and her crown disappears to hide her true identity.
"Thank you. It was a gift." She said.
She couldn't fully remember where she got it, but it was something she treasures very much.
"I take it you love stars?" Danny asked again.
"Well, been dreaming about traveling through the stars, seeing what's out there," Rosalina said.
She was lying right there. She does travel through stars, but she couldn't let them know that.
"Wow, me too," Danny said surprise.
"Huh?" She asked surprise.
"I always wonder what was beyond our planet. I know our galaxy is a big place and one day we might explore every inch. I want to help with that. That's why I'm planning to become an astronaut in the future." Danny said.
Rosalina was a bit surprised to hear how he wishes to travel through space and see things out there himself. He could also see how brightly his face light up when he spoke of his dream. It brought a smile to her face.
"So Rosalina, do you have any plans after school today?" Tucker asked.
"I was thinking about exploring around town. I never stay in one place for long." She answers.
That's was true, she plans on staying for at least one month to see if she could trust this world or not.
"Why?" Danny asked.
"I...um..."
Rosalina didn't have an answer. She couldn't tell them that her Comet Observatory is in space and is waiting for her to return so she can travel the stars once again.
"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it." Danny quickly said, thinking he might hit a sore spot.
Rosalina was a bit surprised by how he said that. Still, she knew she needs to come up with a reason why she couldn't stay. Plus there that energy coming off of Danny that she wishes to know about. The bell rang and all four teens headed towards their next class.
After school...
Rosalina had to admit that Danny and his friends were some of the great people she had met in the school. During one of the breaks in between classes, she meets another girl name, Paulina. Rosalina did not like her. She was rude, snotty and worst of all, proud of herself. What was a surprise that the class had a beauty contest coming up and Paulina thought she was running unopposed, but it turns out someone picks her to enter the contest? She stated that she wasn't in things like that, but the way Paulina spoke about her, made her enter anyway.
'Wow, I'm sure Daisy wouldn't like her and not waste any time of beating her up. I can't stand those types of people.' She thought.
"Rosalina!"
She turns around and notices Danny running up to her.
"Hello, Danny. Are you okay?" She asked him.
"I'm fine. Just had to use the bathroom." Danny lied.
In truth, Skulker shows up to hurt him once again and Danny just caught him and was trying to hurry back to meet up with her and his friends, speaking of which...
"Where Sam and Tucker?" He asked.
"I don't know. I have been waiting here for some time and you're the first person I met." Rosalina told him.
"Maybe they went to the Nasty Burger," Danny said.
"Nasty Burger?" Rosalina asked really confuse.
"Don't let the name fool you. The food is better then it sounds." Danny smiles.
Danny took her there and Rosalina got a good look at the place. She never has seen a place like this before.
"You know, this place was supposed to be called the Tasty Burger, but someone replaces the "T" with an "N" and it been like that ever since," Danny explains.
"And they never change the name back?" She asked.
"Nope, want something to eat?" Danny asked.
Rosalina looks at the place and thought about it. She recalls heading towards places with her two friends Peach and Daisy and has eaten the food there. Maybe she could give it a try.
"Sure. I don't mind." She said and enter the restaurant.
What no one knew is that Tucker and Sam were close by, watching them. Tucker sigh, as he really couldn't believe why he was doing this again.
"Sam, come on, I'm hungry!" He told her.
"Tucker we're not here to eat," Sam told him.
"Sam she's new," Tucker said.
"All the more reason to make sure Danny is safe," Sam said.
"From what?! Rosalina is a transfer student. That's doesn't mean she's here to hunt ghosts." Tucker said.
Sam ignored him and Tucker sigh.
'When is she going to tell Danny about her feelings? Because this is started to get old.' Tucker thought.
Inside the Nasty Burger, Rosalina ate her second burger still trying to get over how good the food taste.
"Wow, I take it you like the food?" Danny laughs.
"Sorry Danny, but I can't believe how good something like this taste. I've eaten at a lot of places, but nothing comes close to this. Well, maybe except Coconut Mall." She said.
"Coconut Mall?" Danny asked.
"Yes, it's a store where me and my friends go to when we want the day to ourselves," Rosalina told him.
"Your friends, can you tell me about them?" Danny asked.
"Well, Peach is much nicer than that Paulina girl. She knows how to make a person feel better about themselves and have a smile on their faces. Daisy a fun person to hang around with, just don't make her mad." Rosalina said leaving out that they were both princesses.
"Wow, sound like good friends. How long have you know them?" Danny asked.
"Well, I was friends with them for a few years. I was invited over for a sleepover once and it wasn't the greatest one I had. They way they acted, the way the treated me and the way they hid something that I needed that was important, I, kind of, blew upon them." Rosalina explains sheepishly.
"Wow, must be a bad sleepover," Danny asked a bit surprised.
"It didn't start off too bad. We did activities and the first one we did was a makeover. I never had the chance to get one." Rosalina said.
"Why? I'm a guy, so I don't need a makeover." Danny asked.
"You notice my hair right? It has been this way for a long time and let's just say, they sorta made fun of my face a bit." She said.
"Ouch!" Danny said.
"The next activate we did was bake a cake. Peach is well known for her cakes, but from what I heard, Daisy was tired of making the same cake every time. I came up with a new cake and we made it. It was only later that we learn that it wasn't Cake Mix Peach got, it was Cement Mix." She said.
"Clement Mix?! How did she get Clement Mix?" Danny asked surprised.
"I don't know. I end up licking the spoon when we place it in the oven. And let's just stay I was feeling uneasy for the whole night." Rosalina said.
She didn't know why she was telling Danny this, but it felt nice to have someone to talk to that wouldn't judge her.
"Anything else?" Danny asked feeling a bit sorry for her.
"Well, we were supposed to have a pillow fight, but Daisy was able to talk Peach out of it." Rosalina answer.
"How did she do that?" Danny asked.
"Well, I wasn't told, but from the way they acted, I had a feeling I luck out," Rosalina explains.
"Anyways, the next one was kart racing." She continues.
"Kart racing? You like a video game right?" Danny asked.
"I wish it was so. Turns out, Peach had a few karts of her own and I end up getting a broken one. And let's leave it at that." Rosalina told him.
"Okay, what next?" Danny said, thinking he shouldn't ask.
"Well, I thought the next one was going to be safe since we were watching cartoons. Turns out, they were playing a drinking game." Rosalina said sighing.
"Oh yeah, I hear of that. You take a shot every time you hear something over and over again." Danny said.
"It was also my first time and I was started to get frustrated. I need to be away from them for some time and that when I found what I was looking for." Rosalina said.
"What was that?" Danny asked.
"I called cosmic duct tape, due to the stars on it," Rosalina told him.
"And that when you blew upon them?" Danny asked.
"Yeah, I said some pretty mean things about them. And left afterwords. I didn't see them again until the next morning where they made up for last night by fixing my...um, toy spaceship. I was really happy and let them stay the night and it was a bit better than before, but we let the past go and they been my friends ever since." Rosalina said.
"A toy spaceship? You have a model of a spaceship?" Danny asked surprised.
"I do, though calling it a spaceship is kind of an overstatement. It more like an Observatory." Rosalina told him.
"I like to see it sometime." Danny smiles.
"Sure. I'll let you know when I able to." Rosalina said.
They two continue to talk and eat. Rosalina was having a good time that she forgot all about the energy she wanted to ask him about. When they didn't notice that Sam and Tucker were watching them from windows.
Later that night...
"Thanks again for the tour, Danny," Rosalina said as they come to Danny's house.
"Glad you had a good time." Danny smiles.
Rosalina smiles back. When she travels back home, she going to tell Peach and Daisy about Danny.
"Are sure you'll be okay on your own?" Danny asked her.
"I'm sure. I keep an eye out for any ghosts." She told him.
"Okay if you say so," Danny said, thinking about following her in his ghost form just to be safe.
Rosalina looks at Danny and smiles more. She then recalls Peach and Daisy kissing their boyfriend's cheeks if they did some nice for them. Maybe she could do the same? Rosalina turns and kisses Danny's cheek, causing the said boy to freeze up.
"Goodbye, Danny. I'll see you tomorrow." She said and started to walk away.
"Bye," Danny whispers, all plans of following Rosalina was forgotten.
Rosalina walks until she reaches an alleyway and pulls out her wand. With a wave, she disappears off the planet and back on the Comet Observatory, and back to her true form.
"Momma!"
Rosalina looks up and saw the Lumas, stars babies cheering as they were welcome her back.
"Hello, little ones." She smiles.
"Welcome back Momma. How was your trip?" A black Luma asked.
"It was fine. I met some interesting people down there." She said.
"Really? How are they?" The Black Luma asks.
"Well, there was one boy that had peak my interest for two reasons," Rosalina said.
"Is momma in love?" Asked one of the Lumas
"Oh no, nothing like that!" Rosalina said blushing a bit.
"Well tell us about him, momma!" Another Luma said, wanted to hear the story.
Soon every Luma started cheering and Rosalina smiles. They were just babies after all.
"All right then, let me tell you the story about my first day in place call Casper High," Rosalina said.
And end! Not bad for a first chapter huh? In case some of you were wondering, the part where Rosalina told Danny about her sleepover was base on comic call The 3 Little Princesses by TheBourgyman from Deviantart. There are even a few fandubs on YouTube. I also mention other characters like Peach, Daisy, Bowser, and Wario. Did you find that last two? Well, I keep this up for some time, but I will go back to the others and work on them as well. Also, there is no fan art of Danny and Rosalina, but I do understand why people don't really do that. I wouldn't be surprised if I started a new crossover pairing. And I know Rosalina is older than Danny and it might seem strange pairing Danny up with an older woman, but people have work around that. Like I did, like having Rosalina turn herself into a teenager. Danny and Rosalina will learn each other secrets but later.
