Hello Everyone.
So I saw the My Hero Academia movie the day after it was bought to the US. I LOVED IT. Now I'm not the type to create an original character for a show since I'm more of the person to create an original character for a show I wanna make in the future (If I ever make one that is) but I couldn't help it.
Oh well look at that, food is ready.
Disclaimer: I do not own My Hero Academia. It belongs to the mangaka, Kohei Horikoshi

When the world was made, there were ordinary people who help develop society. From Ancient Greece to 21st century Russia, they never possessed anything that makes that like any of those comic book heroes: Power.
Most people believe back then that you need to have power in order to become heroes. It's not absolutely true.
Well...That was until one day, a baby was born with a strange glow. Ever since, people start to develop what they called "Quirks", which is basically superpowers. Some even have quirks that make them into a different creature, heck, even animals started to get them as well.
We now live in what we call "The Age of The Quirks"
However, not everyone became lucky because as of right now, twenty percent of Earth's population didn't acquire quirks. Because of this, they became the punching bag for those who have quirks. No job would ever accept quirkless species. What a messed up society.
Anyway, it was my dream of becoming a hero. Why you may ask? Because of a man who I always look up to, he is there when I needed him the most, he always looks after others instead of himself.
He is All Might, The Symbol of Peace.
He is so powerful. He defeated so many villains with just one punch.
Outside of my house, I would look at the TV that is in various stores and it would display All Might with the defeated villains. I would look up in awe because of how cool he was. He is like the father I never had even if I never met All Might myself.
Well, I actually have a father, unfortunately. A very bad one.
My Father is a ruthless villain who enjoys people suffering and dying and would also care about only himself. He is apart of a league called "League of Villain" and he demanded that I should become a villain after himself when I was three years old. I refused immediately.
...That was the biggest mistake of my life.
Not because I actually wanted to be a villain myself, but after that day, it would start years of mental and physical abuse. Whenever I would get caught watching or praising heroes on the house TV, he would beat me to a pulp or don't give me food or a drink for 3 whole days. There are more things that he has done to me but that's for another time.
When I became four, my quirk finally manifested into my body. It was a dark flame-like shadow hunter's ability. I can make a ball of shadow with my right hand and quickly throw it directly or next to a person, or huge crowds of people and it would immediately explode, blinding them, slowing them down and disables the use of any quirk for fifteen seconds. I also inherited my mother's quirk called telekinesis. People back then would think I can just control objects with my mind, like how the Jedis and Sith lords would use in Star Wars. No, there is more than that. Not only I can move an object with my mind but I can also fly, manipulate a person's body and control the four principles of the elements. So basically three quirks but two are in one.
Almost immediately after I acquired a quirk and what I can do, my father saw this as a perfect future villain and try to force me to learn the ways of the dark side. To no surprise, I refuse, which got me assaulted again. He sees me as a villain and would try to have me as a future weapon for his league instead of an actual fucking son.
Before age fourteen, I was looked down upon by my father and never had friends. I never revealed my quirk in public since I wasn't stupid enough to use my quirk in public because I never had a hero license so I get targeted by kids with quirk. If only my mother was here...
When I turned twelve on my birthday, my father was defeated by All Might, who promptly took him to the Tartarus jail, which held dangerous villains. Seeing the news made me happy but the problem was that I was in this shitty Detroit-type apartment but in Kyoto, Japan.
Because now I had nobody to take care of me, I was taken into a foster home in this place in Japan called Musutafu. My foster parents weren't good but were overall better than my dad.
After graduating from my last year of middle school at the ripe age of thirteen, I decided to go apply for U.A High, one of the best hero schools in east Musutafu. It was my desire to become a hero after all and all I had to do was complete an entrance exam, have the best results and I'm in. What I didn't know was that this was the start of a life I never had.
My name is Shinobu Toroyuki, and this is the story of what I never acquired in life and how I became the number 2 hero in Japan.
That's right, number two.
Author's note: I suck ass at writing so this story is probably gonna be cringy until I get better.
I also suck at grammar so I'm gonna use Grammarly to help my lazy butt.
This is also the only chapter where it's first-person view since I'm more of a third person kinda guy.
The powers that his quirk has literally has all the hunter's ability in the game "Destiny 2" but in purple (Like the nightstalker color), like shadowshot (without the bow but a ball a flame), grenades, smoke, triple jump and Spectral Blade. Also he can possess Blade Barrage. Yes while it seems like I'm making him overpowered, trust me, wait till you see.
Oh and as for the name "Nightstalker", I got is also from my favorite game "Destiny".
