Heyo guys! My school just got canceled for two weeks because of Corona! It's the first day and I'm already bored out of my mind cause my Mom said I can't just watch Clone Wars all day (geez, those were my plans) so yeah, I think I'll just write about it all day! :) I guess I should write something remnant of the situation at hand, so here we go! The classic sick-fic! Hope you enjoy! :)

Ahsoka was reading in her quarters when she had gotten the call. She and Anakin had been granted the permission to stay at the temple for a few days, and she was trying to soak up every last bit of relaxation available to her. Well, so much for that. It was all ruined when Obi-Wan called her.

She set down her holobook and answered the call. His hologram looked disheveled and exhausted. "Master, what's wrong?" She asked.

"Ahsoka," he had sighed. "I really didn't want to get you into this, but I'm being sent out to battle in half an hour, and it was on really short notice-"

"What do you mean, Master Kenobi?" She asked.

"Well, it's Anakin."

Anakin? She hadn't seen him in days. Naturally she hadn't thought anything of his absence. When they were supposed to be at the temple he was usually visiting Padme or going on dangerous joy rides in his fighter. But something could have happened to him, and then- well she wouldn't know what to do.

"Anakin?! Is there something wrong with him?! Is he in trouble?!"

Obi-Wan just sighed. "No need to worry, he's quite alright." She heard Anakin's muffled voice yelling in the background, "LIAR!"

"Hush, Anakin! You're being loud!" He scolded, turning around to where Anakin must have been. Ahsoka just stood there watching them with a curious look on her face. "Anakin's just got a cold, Ahsoka, and I need you to take care of him before I get back."

Ahsoka smiled. That didn't seem so hard. Plus, it'd be interesting to see Anakin without his trademarked hyper energy. "Sure, why not? Can't be difficult right?" She asked.

His hologram shot her a warning look. Then he just shook his head. "Oh you'll see."

Ignoring Obi-Wan's last comment, Ahsoka showed up to Anakin's quarters right away. She guessed that it was Anakin under the mountain of blankets on his bed, and Obi-Wan was sitting near him looking like he desperately wanted to jump out the window. Well until he saw her. "Ahsoka! Finally!" He shouted, getting up and running towards her.

He didn't wait for her to greet him. He needed to get out of there as soon as possible. "Okay, Ahsoka. Give him his medicine as soon as possible. It's on the 'fresher counter. Don't let him watch any pod races. Trust me he gets all worked up. Don't let him eat too many popsicles or drink too many Gadorades, it'll make him sick, and force forbid if he tries to escape, mind that he is an absolute madman when he's sick and will wreak havoc on this poor temple. Got it?"

Ahsoka laughed, boldly assuming that he was joking. "Got it."

"Bye, Anakin!" He yelled, then bolted out the door, ignoring Anakin's muffled pleas for him to stay.

Ahsoka snorted to herself. "Well he sure wanted to get out of here fast." Then she turned to her Master, who had knocked all the blankets off himself and sat up so he could see. His hair was a matted mess, and his nose was all red. It took everything she had not to burst out laughing.

"Hey sick-y head." Ahsoka snickered.

He just looked around, seeming extremely confused. "Wh're did he go?"

Ahsoka walked into his room, mindful of the random piles of tissues scattered on the floor. She sat down on the side of his bed. "Oh, Obi-Wan? He had a mission."

Anakin took a second to process what she said. "Excuses." He mumbled, glaring at her. It was perfectly clear to him in his mind. Obi-Wan was tired of him, and left him with someone else. Obi-Wan, tired of him. Didn't love him anymore.

A tear rolled down his cheek at the thought, taking Ahsoka by surprise. "Hey, hey, hey, don't cry. What's wrong?"

He flopped over on his bed, almost hitting his head on the wall in the process. He coughed as tears ran down his face. "I m-miss him."

She wasn't sure what to do. She'd only been there for what? Not even two minutes, and he was already crying. "I know it's hard when you're sick…" she tried awkwardly. Apparently that was the wrong thing to say.

"I'm not sick." He shot back at her.

Yeah, says all the tissues, medicine bottles, and blankets on the floor. "Hate to break it to you, but you are."

"Jedi d-don't get sick, Snips."

"Of course Jedi get sick, Master." She said, putting a hand on his trembling shoulder. "I've gotten sick loads of times."

"Well good Jedi…" he mumbled in between tears. Ahsoka glared at him. "Someone's grumpy today." She joked.

Wrong thing to say again. He cried even harder. Desperate to get him to stop crying, Ahsoka grabbed the holotelevision remote and turned it on. "Maybe this will cheer you up."

Anakin's head perked up hearing the TV turn on. He coughed a few times and then sat up. All the tears had mysteriously disappeared. He stared at the screen internally.

Ahsoka smiled to herself. She knew this would be easy. "Alright, weirdo. I'm gonna get you some medicine." She said, standing up. His eyes were glued to the screen, and he wasn't even paying attention to what she was saying. She stood up and walked into the refresher. She found the right bottle of pills and opened the bottle. She remembered to read the instructions on the label, since it was her first time really nursing anyone. "Two pills." She said aloud to herself. "Alright then."

She walked out into his room, and to her concern he had changed the channel to a broadcast of a pod race. Obi-Wan had warned her about this.

But he wasn't crying anymore, and how bad could watching a simple sport be for him? "Hey, Anakin. Ready to take your medicine?"

He didn't seem to have heard her. He looked at the screen, sniffling to himself. "Come on, Anakin!" She called.

One of the pods crashed on the screen, causing him to erupt in angry, incoherent shouts. "What an idiot! He wasn't even looking at the path in front of him! I could do better! No, I WILL do better, right here!"

Ahsoka just stood there and watched as he shakily stood up from his bed. "You probably shouldn't-" she tried, but Anakin was already up on his feet, running around the room in circles, making what she could only guess were pod noises. How could a sick person have so much energy?

"Anakin!" She yelled, running after him.

"I'M SO FAST! YOU CAN'T CATCH ME!" He laughed. He zoomed around, pretending to be in a pod race again. He was so speedy, it was almost scary. Good thing he was brave...

He was on his fourth lap around the room, when he collapsed, and lay on the ground, sputtering for breath. He coughed up a storm. "Ahsoka *cough cough* h- *cough* help…"

She just stood over him, her hands on her hips. "See, this is why we get rest when we're sick." She grabbed the remote with the force and turned off the holotTV.

Anakin coughed even harder, making her a little worried. She got down on the ground next to him, and carefully sat him up, rubbing his back. "You alright?"

He nodded, but there were tears in his eyes. "I was so fast…" he whispered once his coughing fit was over.

"Yes you were." She sighed. "But we're not gonna go that fast again, okay?"

"You're mean." Anakin stuck out his bottom lip like a child. A child! That's what he was reminding her of.

"Whatever, can you take your medicine now, Master. Please?"

He wrinkled his nose when she showed him the two pills. "I can't swallow those." He sniffled. "Obi-Wan usually crushes them up in yogurt for me."

Oh dear force. "Well we don't seem to have any of that around, so-" he just pointed to a lunchbox on the other side of his room. "Obi-Wan brought some earlier." He mumbled, wiping snot on his sleeve like the gross person he was.

Ahsoka rolled her eyes, "Fine. I'll crush up your pills or whatever." She helped him off the floor and back up into his bed. She prayed to the force that he would stay there and not run around the room like a lunatic again.

She grabbed one of the yogurt cups out of the small lunchbox and began the annoying task of crushing up his pills. She had seen Plo do it before. He used to have to crush up her medicine when she was a seven year old kid who couldn't swallow them. (A seven year old! Anakin was well into adulthood and still couldn't!)

"Well here you go." She sighed, handing him the cup of yogurt and a spoon when she was finally done. The man took one bite of the yogurt before spitting it out on the floor. "Ewww!"

Ahsoka loved him to death, but oh force she wanted to strangle him right there. "What?! What is wrong with it?!"

Anakin's runny nose was all scrunched up. "Is this blueberry yogurt?"

Ahsoka nodded slowly, trying to keep her eye from twitching in anger. "Yes."

"Eww! That stuff's straight shit! I want blue-razz!"

She raised her eyebrows. She spoke so slowly and angrily it made Anakin want to hide under his blankets. "What. Is. Blue-razz?" Her words were sharp. So sharp they could cut into Anakin's hard stubbornness as easily as a lightsaber.

"B-blueberry raspberry yogurt. Not this gross stuff." He complained, holding up the yogurt container.

"JUST TAKE YOUR MEDICINE!" She yelled. That was enough to get him to listen to her. He ate it quickly.

"Thank you." She breathed. "Now please, please, PLEASE just get some rest."

"No." he said with a smile. Then he giggled to himself and pulled out a bottle of Gatorade out from under his pillow. Ahsoka felt the last bit of her sanity being blown to smithereens. Obi-Wan had warned her about the Gatorade.

Anakin realized she was glaring at him. "Oh, sorry." He sniffed, holding the bottle out to her. "You want some?"

She wanted to yell, but he seemed so happy to share. He smiled up at her and shook the bottle. "Coruscant to Snips, want *cough cough* any?"

Ahsoka shook her head. "No thanks. I don't wanna get sick." She said. He frowned and opened the bottle. "Suit yourself."

Ahsoka cringed. She knew that she shouldn't let him have any, but he was finally being quiet, and he was so nice to offer her some. Damn that man's manners… But she didn't want another pod racing incident.

She put her hands on her hips. "You know, Obi-Wan told me not to-"

No. He couldn't give away his drink. Anakin did the only thing he knew would work. He gave his apprentice the saddest, most vulnerable puppy eyes he could muster, completed with a pitiful cough. "Please?" He whimpered.

Ahsoka might have been able to realize that he was acting, but talent recognizes talent, and she couldn't act to save her life. "Aww, Anakin. Don't get upset." She said. He just let out a small pained noise, looking down at his Gatorade, then back up at her. "Don't take it." He begged.

She couldn't take it. He looked so weak and innocent. She had to help him, had to. Just like he always helped her…

"Alright fine!" Ahsoka yelled.

"Yippeeeeee!" Anakin yelled, quickly opening his Gatorade and getting ready to chug it down.

"Small sips." She warned. "Don't wanna get sick, do you?"

He shook his head. "Don't wanna get sick."

Ahsoka smiled in satisfaction. Maybe now that he got rid of all his energy running, he'd finally not be such a pain. "You do listen!" She praised.

Anakin snorted. "Barely."

"What?"

Before she could stop him, Anakin took a huge swing of the Gatorade. "Skyguy you little monster!" Ahsoka gasped. Anakin laughed and threw the empty bottle across the room. "Gotcha!" He yelled, coughing into his elbow.

"Why Anakin?! Why?! I am taking time out of MY day to take care of YOU! And how do you repay me?! By making it so, so difficult just to help you!" Ahsoka yelled, standing up. "That's just…" She couldn't think of any words. "That's ju-just mean!" Her voice broke on the last word.

Anakin stared up at his friend, knowing he had messed up. "Ahsoka I-"

She held up her hand to stop him. "No! No, I don't want to hear it!" She sat back down on the side of his bed and tried not to let tears of frustration from leaking from her eyes.

Anakin awkwardly held out two open arms. "Seems like you could use a hug, Snips." He said quietly, smiling to her to show that he was really sorry.

Ahsoka looked up at him. "No. You're sick." She sighed and buried her head in her hands. She was just so angry with him.

"I'm sorry." He muttered, laying his head down. "I guess I get a little carried away sometimes."

"Yeah." She snapped coldly. "Yeah, you do."

Anakin closed his eyes. "That's probably why Obi-Wan wanted to leave me so bad…"

"Don't guilt trip me." She sighed, wiping sweat off her forehead. But Anakin kept going. "No one in the temple really wants to be around me. They don't think I belong."

She sighed. "Of course you belong, Anakin. You don't need to make it into a big deal, I just got upset." Ahsoka looked up from her hands to see Anakin's form trembling terribly next to her.

He wasn't acting like before, neither was he trying to guilt trip her. When he got sick, he just got kinda emotional. He felt a hand gently stroking his back.

"Sorry I was hard on you." Ahsoka murmured.

He shook his head. "I deserved it."

Ahsoka couldn't exactly argue with that. He was being a little shit, but that didn't mean that she had the right to yell at him like that. Everyone who knew him knew that he could get a little freaked out when people got mad at him. Obi-Wan had said it had something to do with his past. She didn't know anything about her friend's past, but she knew it was bad.

"Looks like we both have things to work on." Ahsoka said. "You need to learn how not to get carried away, and I need to learn to control my temper. Work on it together?"

Anakin looked at her and smiled. "Of course, Snips."

They turned on the holotelivision, and Anakin promised that he would not run around the room like a maniac. Ahsoka let him lay his throbbing head on her shoulder. They sat together in peace.

"Snips?" Anakin asked quietly after the podrace was over.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for staying with me." He coughed.

She smiled at the mystery that was her master. "You're welcome."

That was a complete mess, but hey, at least it gave me something to do! (Seriously I am so bored, I can't wait until I can go back into society) In all seriousness, stay safe guys. :) Anyways, I hope you liked it! Love you lots! :)
