Flashback:I raced down the hall knowing I was late for potions. As I passed the bathrooms I heard someone sobbing. I did not want to be later than I already was, but I had to see if they were okay. I knocked on the boys' restroom, but I got no response."Hello?" I asked after a short pause."I'm coming in." I opened the door to see a boy lying on the floor crying. I approached him slowly."Go away." said the weeping boy"Are you okay?" I asked ignoring his request."I'm fine""You don't look fine""Well I am" spat the boy"You have a cut on your face. Would you like me to fix it?""Might as well since you're not gonna leave."I fixed the cut on his face."I'm addison, Addison Cohen.""Remus Lupin""I know. You're lily's friend."End of flashback

"Addison!" said James

"huh? what? oh sorry what did you say?"

"I asked if you're gonna come to lunch with us"

"oh yea. just let me pack up"

As we left the library we caught up with Lily, Remus and Sirius. We sat down in our usual spot as the boys talked about Quidditch. While Lily, Rose and I ate our food.

"So, are we going to hogsmeade tomorrow?" asked Sirius as he smacked James for touching his food.

"I can't I have to study." I said

"Oh come on addi. You study all the time." said James

"I know, but it's really important." I said as Remus gave me a look because he knew I was lying.

As we finished up lunch we all went our separate ways. Lily and Rose went to the dorm, James and Sirius went to practice and Remus and I made our way to the tree by the lake.

"So what are you really gonna do while we go to hogsmeade?"

"I'm going Christmas shopping."

"Where?"

"Hogsmeade"

"Wait so your gonna go to hogsmeade without us."

"Yup. I'm gonna go before you guys go."

"alright then"

Two hours later:Remus and I made out way to the Gryffindor common room. Even though I'm a hufflepuff, I spent most of my time in their common room.

"Hey guys." I said as I sat down next to Sirius.

"Hey" they all said in union.

I awoke the next morning on the couch. When I looked at the floor I noticed that Sirius was on the floor asleep. I decided to get up and get ready even though it was barely 5 in the morning. I heard talking from the boys dorm, so I assumed that someone was awake. As I walked in and what I saw was something I never would of imagined. I saw Remus with a knife in his hands and he cut into his skin. I immediately grabbed the knife away from his hand.

"What are you doing!" I asked and I panicked.

Remus looked terrified and I guess I shouted to loud because Sirius woke up.

"What's going on?" asked Sirius as he walked up the steps.

I quickly pulled down Remus's sleeves.

"nothing. Just thought I saw a spider." I lied.

"I'm going back to bed then." said Sirius as he walked back down to the couch even though his bed was in the room. I approached Remus and sat down next to him on his bed.

"Why" I asked
