The evil dragon Grima sat on top on a hill facing Ylisstol. The air was cold and dry and dark clouds covered the gloomy sky. He oversaw the increasing success of his Risen army attacking the city; he also was pleased. Even at a long distance, he could still hear the relentless screaming and see the main actions. He only stopped when he saw a flying disk through the clouds. Though he was normally prideful but calm, confusion, curiosity, suspicion, and impression filled his blood. He decided to take a break from observing and flew nearer to the metallic disk. It took an U-turn but still descended closer to the ground.

"What?! A human with an invention greater than weapons and stuff?!" he yelled. He tried chasing the disk but it was faster than him. It also sprouted gas fumes, causing the powerful dragon to cough. He struggled to catch the skull without his magical powers as it almost landed in a grassy plain; it floated over it. An opening in the gray ship started open and a large staircase descended to the ground. Next, humanoid soldiers started to exit. They weren't in silver armor but instead in uniforms were various shades and tints of green, brown, and black. They also were carrying unusual weapons. Grima eventually came to the site, studied the soldiers' appearance, and decided to attack them by breathing purple flames. The soldiers panicked while the rest began shooting him with bullets and lasers. He squealed in pain, despite his immorality.

"You damned creatures! I will kill you all!!!" roared Grima. Larger machinery started to enter as the skirmish worsened and Grima couldn't handle them alone. He thought that only swor, lances, bows, magic, and axes were weapons that humans used; this was completely diffeeent. After a while, he fled and a dark-skinned man (in his thirties) exited the ship. He had blue hair and green eyes and was wearing a white suit in black pants. He stood on the grass, studied the area, and ordered his troops to explore the planet. When all of the troops were gone, Grima returned. He realized that the man must be the leader and was split between two choices: obliterate them with his powers or inquisit them; he chose the latter.

"WHO ARE YOU!!!" Grima interrogated loudly, scaring the man. He stared at the monstrous black dragon as the troops returned. His fear subsided and he coughed.

"I am Space Commander Welikome Esaesid of the Neo Tellius Galactic Empire." the man introduced himself, "I am here to conquer this planet." Grima breathed red flames in complete rage and some of the troops point thier guns at him.

"YOU HYPOCRITICAL LIARS!!! YOU VAIN ABOMINATIONS!!!" he yelled, "I AM THE SUPREME RULER OF THIS PLACE!!!"

"You mean this continent right?" questioned Esaesid.

"Of course, Archaena and Valm." verified Grima. He commanded his undead army, the Risen, to attack the soldiers. They had been transported from other parts of the world, because Grima thought that he could defeat the more advanced humans. The troops started shooting the zombies down, which shocked the dragon. His undead army had been defeated by the foreign humans. Commander Ymir, however, was very overjoyed by this victory. He had fought zombies in other planets; with the weapons that he used, he could permanently kill undead creatures.

"Surrender now, you liar?" he taunted.

"Fine! You win for now," grumbled Grima, "but not for long." Ymir laughed at Grima plead to surrender, looked at the corpses of the Risen, and whispered something to a soldier's ear. The soldiers responded back and the commander faced Grima.

"So, are there any other civilized creatures?" he asked.

"Not a lot of humans left, but I never bother to count. I just want them dead."

"You sure do have a big hatred of our species. Anyways, for now I will leave you alone, deal?"

"Get out." Grima commanded. Ymir tokd his troops to get back on the ship. When all of them were gone, the ship flew back into space. A giant purple blouder fell into the sky, landing several yards away from the dragon's foot. Grima was very confused but took a deep sigh and closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes, he saw a crowd of humans surrounding him. When they saw him, they panicked and started running. The boulder was still there.

"Crap, now I have to create new Risen" he groaned. Grima attempted to make a few Risen, but the lasers had prevented him from doing it for some time.

Meanwhile, the confused people of the ruined world no longer saw the undead army of Grima. Instead, they witnessed an influx of humans walking into the citiesy Some were familiar and others were new. Eventually, joy and gladness filled the area. Lucina and Tiki were in a Ylisstol street seeing reunions taking place.

"What had happened?" asked Lucina.

"Maybe Grima had a sudden change of heart." hypothesized Tiki, "It is probably from that flying object." A smile started to grow on both of their faces as more people filled the nearly deserted streets of Ylisstol. The two started to walk back as Lucina started to become suspicious about the event.

"It might be an ominous sign of something worse."

"I'm having this feeling too, but what's more great is that we have finally have a time when we won't have to worry about these Risen monsters." Lucina sighed in relief and went off to see the people she lost.

Grima woke up from a yearlong nap. He tried to fly but couldn't move his legs due to that boulder. He started having vision of people around the world (especially Archaena and Valm) returning to some sense of normal. Even though new governments were formed, no one would forget those Risen. The skies were blue and white puffy clouds flew.

"Damn! Now I'm further behind!" he yelled.

"Not for long, I can help you." Grima heard a voice say. He saw that the boulder now had completely green eyes and a mouth.

"Anything! Anything for the extinction of these damned humans." begged Grima. The boulder smiled and make a shady look. He laughed for a while making the dragon impatient.

"I have a devastating power in me. It releases a virus that can kill many creatures, not just humans." it finaly told him. Grima immediately accepted the offer, thinking that it would not kill him. The boulder disappeared and a purple haze entered his large mouth. He started to sneeze really hard, releasing the disease. It flew all the way to a market Ylisstol, where the plague would begin. The first symptoms weren't too severe, such as a fever, sneezing, and coughing but as time progressed, the infected experienced rotting organs, vomiting of blood, and terrible blisters. It spread from person to person and panic started to erupt, causing the illness to spread more. There were so much chaos and disease that even Queen Lucina couldn't calm them down. The illness was new to them and there was no such cure; everyone in Ylisstol, except Lucina, perished.

After murdering the people of Ylisstol, the epidemic started to attack the rest of Archaena. It worsened by infecting most of the livestock and some of the plants, killing them. As people got that disease, it spreaded to others. Eventually the virus sailed to Valm and ordered a successful genocide against all of the people living in this continent. After that, it grew into a pandemic, affecting the ecosystems around. The illness then swam to Judgral and did a similar massacre there. It also hit nations like Hoshido and Nohr and did carnage in new places around. When it finaly died, it had killed millions of people worldwide in just a few months; only dozens of people were immune.

One of the survivors was Lucina, who was greatly grieved by the plague. She wandered through the corpse-filled streets of Ylisstol. The wintery atmosphere hugged the empty buildings. The clouds darkened as her spirit weakened to insanity. She lost faith in the dieties she worshipped and started to lament in tears.

"My gods have forsaken me!" she cried, "It must be Grima's fault." She dropped her Falchion near an abandoned home. She slowly and somberly walked inside and wept for days. Even though she lost hope, she didn't had the courage to take her own life.

Grima flew near the house that Lucina was at. The pandemic's carnage on the world had pleased the dragon. He decided to let the immune survive and suffer through loneliness and repopulate the world with new Risen. He flew away from the city to the mountains and started creating his undead creatures. However, they were small and slow and Grima groaned.

As time progressed, Lucina began to become more primitive. She forgot most of the history of Ylisse, she forgot most of her proper speech, and she forgot how to act ladylike and mature. She began a diet of what she could find as edible, including a bunch of rats multiplying across the city. She left the clothes on the corpses of the fatally sick and interacted with them. Her hair grew as she could never forget that plague.

A few years (on this planet) had passed and the same ship, manned by Space Commander Ymir. This time his son, Remidik, was with him. He was similar as his father, but he was only fifteen years old. He had on a brown tunic, khakis, a green cap, .He was excited about his first time in space.

"I'm going to a new planet!" he sang, "I hope to see new aliens, eat new food, visit new geographic places, and more!"

"Well son, you do realize that this is not always for fun." his father calmly spoke, "You might encounter a deadly monster or any other danger."

"But it's worth having that experience."

"Ok! But I don't want to lose you for something careless or stupid." Remedik and Welikome gazed at the planet from a window.

"So what did you saw in this planet." asked Remedik.

"Honestly, I didn't see much. All I saw was a dragon who claimed to rule this planet and his zombies, but we did whipped their asses." Remedik thought of what he would see in this world as the ship flew closer. When it hit the thermosphere, the cloudy weather was still there. However, there were not a lot of signs of life besides the grass. Remedik was disappointed from this atmosphere while his father stared in suspicion.

"Troops, get ready for what would happen." he ordered. The ship's door opened and the stairwell grew. The troops marched out of the ship as Remedik took a closer view of this place. It was largely abandoned.

"Dad, what happened to this place?" he asked. His dad shrugged and decided to not answer. The group trekked and surveyed the area. It was cold and quiet and Remedik was getting bored from this experience.

"We decided that we will return, but I don't know why that place is so void of life." his father answered. Remedik saw a large castle surrounded by stone walls in the distance. He walked away from the infantry in the direction of the castle. Welikome was getting worried about what will happen but reluctantly decided to follow him.

"Oh my, a castle!" he yelled excitedly, "Must be civilization here." He started running, causing his father and the soldiers to chase him. After walking for a few miles, they had finally made it to the city's main gate. However, it was completely deserted, much to Remedik's dismay.

"Hello! Anybody home?!" he yelled. There was no response, not even a monster. His father gave Remedik a gun in case of an attack. He blew his horn and ordered his troops to raid the city. Remedik went inside while his father remained. Dust had mixed the air while motionless skeletons were scattered in the city's street. Some were from adults and others were from children. Some had missing bones while others were cracked. This didn't terrify him, as he was pleased.

Remedik explored the city streets and looked inside the abandoned buildings. Some were just peasantly rooms with basic furniture while other had many valuables, including silver weapons and armor. After a while, he saw a young-adult woman creepily staring at him from on top of a house. She had long blue hair that stretched to her waist and blue eyes and wore a dirty white robe and raggedy sandals. Remedik rubbed his eyes and the woman disappeared.

"That's strange." he mumbled. Remedik walked further into the bone-filled alley and noticed a horde of rats running away from him. He chased the rats, hoping to see something interesting, when that same woman jumped in front of him. She stared at Remedik more creepily and he was getting uncomfortable.

"Um... hello, my name is Remedik Ymir. I am from another planet." he introduced himself. The woman didn't speak but then proceeded to touch him. She started on his right hand, then his arm, chin, belly, and legs. A faint smile grew on her face.

"Human." whispered the woman. She smiled for more and Remedik's face was turning red. He giggled nervously and smiled.

"So, who are you?" asked Remedik. The woman kept touching and staring at him for a while. Eventually, she finally remembered her name.

"Lucina." she said. Remedik pulled out his left hand, expecting a handshake. Lucina glanced at the arm and darted deep into the alley; Remedik decided to follow her.

"Where are you going?" he asked. Lucina stopped at a home and Remedik panted in exhaustion. She slowly opened the door and crawled inside like a cat. Remedik pulled out his gun in preparation. He took small steps into the dark dusty house. It was a candle lit room with a couple artifacts scattered on the walls. What caught his attention was the many skeletons that were dressed in clothes. Some were even sitting on the furniture, like if time had frozen. "Myde golly! This reminds me like these mass graves I've been seeing in books about genocide." he whispered. Lucina came to the room, carrying two bowls of stew and rusty spoons.

"Let's meet each other." she suggested calmly but frighteningly. She placed the bowls on the table and reached for the spoons. Steam flew upwards from the broth sea. Remedik realized that all of the chairs were occupied by the skeletons. The one nearest to him had on a red tunic covering the ribs and green due covering the top of the skull.

"Mind if I move it?" Remedik politely asked.

Lucina nodded and said, "Yes, you can move miss Tiki." The boy was perplexed, thinking that she was just being insane. Nevertheless, he did what he suggested and sat down. He used his spoon to eat the stew; it tasted delicious despite its unappetizing looks.

"Wow! You sure do cook some great stew." complimented Remedik, "What did you put in it?"

"Tree bark..., leaves..., tomatoes..., and chunks of rat meat." answered Lucina shyly. The ingredients didn't bother Remedik as he happily gulped and chopped the weird stew. The room got a little bright due to the sun, but it was still too dark for Lucina to blow the candle out. She started pointing and naming the skeletons of Inigo, Noire, Severa, and Brady.

"So, why are you alone Lucina?" asked Remedik. That single question had caused most of her memory to instantly come back to her; it included her experience of the plague. She got more depressed and made a gloomy face. Several drops of tears fell to the wooden table.

"A plague killed everybody there." she answered. She began to regain her knowledge of her own language, as she never made contact with anyone except for thousands of mice. "I have been alone ever since." continued Lucina. She started crying more severely and ran from the table and into her bed. Remedik realized that she experienced a terrible event, and he must comfort her. He sat motionless with his elbows on the table and his hands on his cheeks. He no longer believed that space exploration is always fun; there is still tragedy in these adventures.

"Oh there you are! We have been looking for you." said Commander Ymir. A few of his troops accompanied him as he looked in worry. "Anything wrong, son?" he asked in concern. Remedik responded by slowly nodding.

"This place's sole person had lost an entire city due to a deadly pandemic." he answered soberly. "I'm starting to realize the sadness in space." His father hugged him for comfort as the troops investigated the room.

"Anyone who does these to corpses must be a maniac." one of the soldiers remarked.

"Of course, that is extremely unethical!" another yelled.

Meanwhile, Lucina curled up in her bed. Its white sheets had a couple holes in them but its blue blanket was surprisingly durable. She thought of that disease and how she had lost hope and faith. She glanced at her Falchion, laying motionless on the opposite wall. Rust still hadn't lived in its blade but the handle was gradually getting weaker. She got of the bed and grabbed the sword, pointing at her stomach.

"Well, goodbye cruel world. Grima wins forever." she whispered as she proceeded to stab herself. Lucina would have killed herself if he hadn't overheard the conversation between Commander Ymir and his son.

"Son, I know you are optimistic and excited about being in space, but it's not always like that." he explained to Remedik, "In fact, there's a high chance of something like that. Maybe you will lose me to a monster." These words frightened Remedik, since he never understood it.

"But doesn't that feeling exciting to you?" asked Remedik.

"Rarely son, that's my job. However one thing I learned from these missions is to be brave no matter the situation." his dad advised. Remedik thought of this advice and was thankful for that. As he thanked Commander Ymir, Lucina started to have second thoughts of suicide. She later realized that there is still an opportunity end Grima's reign.

"Why should I kill myself and give my body to Grima when I still got hope?" she said, "Why should I act crazy and pretend its nothing?"Grima shall pay for the suffering he inflicted upon me." Instead of killing herself, she cut some of her hair with her Falchion. She looked for her fighting clothes and changed into them; to her surprise, it still fit. She marched out from her room and noticed that Remedik was with other men, which gave her more relief. All of them, including her, widened their eyes as they saw her.

"Who is that lady?" his father asked. It took a while for his son to recognize Lucina's appearance.

"My name is Lucina, the sole survivor of a deadly disease that hit Ylisstol." she bravely introduced herself, "It was caused by the dragon Grima, who wants to destroy all of humanity in my world." The word 'Grima' was familiar to Welikome Ymir. Then, he realized that it's the same dragon he encountered on his first visit. He remembered that that lasers did create pain for that monster and annihilated the undead Risen.

"How about we help you. We defeated that dragon's zombies with our technology. Maybe we should whip that dragon's ass the same way!" proposed Commander Ymir. His troops agreed with the idea but Lucina didn't.

"This would not be an effective strategy." she doubted, "Only my Falchion can defeat him." Remedik still had his father's words is heart and he decided to do the same.

"My dad told me that our weapons brought pain from that Dragon. He may be immortal, but only just the weapons my ancestors used. Let's be brave and try." ge convinced Lucina. Trepidation was still in her blood but she gladly accepted their offer. They left the house and prepared for the fight against Grima. Several hours later, Remedik and Lucina were sitting in the abandoned Ylisstol castle. It was dark, quiet, and full of cobwebs, but it didn't bother them.

"We have a spaceship which can fly to long distances in short periods of time." stated Remedik.

"Remedik, thank you for helping me." she thanked, "I would have killed myself if it wasn't for your dad."

"No problem, no problem," Remedik gladly spoke, "but about that sword. You say that your Falchion can only be wielded by the descendants of your ancestors right?"

"That is true. Only the descendants of Anri can do it."

"However, you can enchant it with radiant uranium. It makes our weapons more lethal, possibly capable of killing certain immortals."

"Are you insane?! This sword is a sacrament! I would need to perform an Awakening fron Naga." she yelled but remembered the requirement to do it, "But I need to find the Gemstones, which I forgot."

"The dragon has never been exposed to that chemical, but it's your choice." Remedik defended. Lucina was split by two decisions: using the ancient Awakening move or accept Remedik's shady offer. She decided to take more time to think. She walked out of the castle as Remedik watched in confusion.

Grima was in his hill, busily creating new Risen. Each one had largely varying heights but he wanted to keep a consistent size. Nevertheless, millions of them were created guarding him. He hadn't checked on the survivors since the plague subsided but planned to do so anyway. A ship was getting closer and Grima knew that Commander Ymir's ship had arrived.

"These cretins will pay for trespassing my world. He ordered his Risen to prepare for an invasion and flew to the ship. Remedik, Welikome, and Lucina watched the dragon getting nearer. He rammed the ship, causing it to shake and tumble. Some of the riders, including Lucina, collapsed to the floor due to this. The dragon Grima roared, orbited around the ship, and breathed purple flames, nearly missing the ship.

"So this is that dragon you have been talking about?" asked Remedik.

"That is the dragon." answered his father, who pointed his gun at the dragon.

"We must defeat him for the rebuilding of humanity." added Lucina. She grabbed her Falchion, which was glowing from that uranium, and held it facing Grima.

He grunted and said, "Mwa ha ha, it must be that pesky daughter of Chrom who survived."

"Grima, were going to have to kill you." Commander Ymir announced. Grima got more angry from this and thought of an ultimatum.

"IF YOU DON'T SURRENDER LUCINA TO ME, I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU." A blast of mystic power emerged around the dragon as troops started to blast lasers at the black dragon. Remedik ran from the window as Lucina held up her sword. She jumped out of the ship and stabbed Grima in the chest. The uranium got in the dragon's veins and nearly killed him. He descended a hundred yards before quickly regaining consciousness. He saw a laser speeding towards him, which almost obliterated him. He fell to the cold ground, only for Lucina to finish him. She sliced and stabbed him many times until Grima was finally dead.

"Good job son!" Ymir thanked his son, "Your plan to kill Grima worked." They were in one of the weapons room and Remedik had blasted one of the lasers.

"Yep, and we had done a great contribution to this victory." he smiled. The ship landed at the site of Grima death and the two left the ship. They saw Lucina staring at the dragon's corpse in joy.

"I have defeated an immortal dragon with a more dangerous weapon instead of the Awakening. Wow, they really have advanced technology." she whispered while smiling. Lucina noticed Welikome's and Remedik's presence and ran to them. She gave both of them a tight hug and thanked them. Remedik started to blush from this gift. The body of Grima started to shine. It feasted on the dragon and transformed it into a white haired man. He wore a long black coat with a purple interior, a beige tunic and pants held together by a belt, and long boots. Regret, tiredness, and confusion circled around him.

"What had happened? Where am I? Why am I no longer possessed by Grima?" he asked. He recognized that blue haired woman and decided to apologize to her for killing her father Chrom (under the possession of Grima). However, he started to get ill and coughed, sneezed, and vomited before he noticed a huge blister on his hand; he was so frightened that he fainted. Lucina studied the man's appearance and realized that he was Robin. She broke from the men and dragged his body. Remedik decided to help.

"Is that another survivor?" he asked in panic.

"No, but he's experiencing the symptoms that my people faced." answered Lucina.

"Miss, that is Purple Comet Plague. It is a viral mutation of Toad Flu that can be spreaded by these damn purple vermin rocks. It's capable of causing extinctionof every living thing on a planet." Welikome Ymir informed Lucina. "But we got a cure for this."

"Thank you mister." said Lucina. Remedik thought about the trip he had. He didn't have much fun, but it was a memorable event in his life. They picked Robin's body and took it to the ship.

Robin woke up in a bed in a health room in the ship. There was white concrete walls, a steel ceiling, and a linoleum floor. It was being minute at normal temperature. He was now wearing a clean white robe. His blood pressure was being taken on his left arm and heartbeat on his right thumb. An IV line was in his arm and he was given saline. Robin was still unable to speak as Remedik and Lucina, wlboth in with jubilant faces, went inside.

"Welcome back, Robin! You had Purple Comet Plague but we cured you before it worsened." spoke Lucina.

"So tell me about your life buddy." said Remedik.

"I'm sorry for killing your father. It was Grima's fault, not mine." groaned Robin. He coughed for a while but quickly recovered. "I knew a lot about the world during these twenty years of being possessed."

"Don't worry, you're starting a new life in my home." said Remedik. "You'll be safe here." They all laughed as they, Remedik's father, and his troops fly through the humongous sea of space.

Meanwhile, another survivor remained in the planet. His name was Owain, Lucina's cousin. He had fled from Ylisse to Judgral, but he brought the disease with him, causing widespread biological carnage to there and Hoshido. Now, Owain was in the same position as was Lucina, but not equally badly, as a couple hundred people in each nation survived. He sat on a shore in Thracia, regretting about leaving, wearing the same clothes, but he had grown a long beard.

"Maybe I shouldn't left Lucina." he said. He picked up a rock and threw it into the ocean. "We could have a better life here."
