A/N: Hey everyone! So please read this if none of you have read any of my previous stories and such. In all my stories, they all live on base so this story isn't quite going to follow the end of End Game and such. Also, Steve isn't old in this one either because I hated that ending lol so please enjoy!
Thor sat on the bed in his bedroom on base. It had been six years since Thanos came to earth and six years since Loki had died at his hand. Thanos was dead now but that still didn't change the void that was left in his heart after it all and all Thor did afterwards was spend his time in the gym getting back into shape and getting his body back and cutting his hair again since the short hair had grown on him years earlier.
'Hey, you doing okay?" A voice asked from the doorway and Thor looked up to see Carol leaning against the doorway. Since defeating Thanos, the team came to the unanimous decision to stay at the base, wanting to be prepared for the next big threat towards Earth. Especially Carol, having decided that a permanent home was better than constantly being on the move.
"Hey, yeah I'm fine. I'm just thinking.'He says as he looked up at her barely.
"You sure?" She asks with a raised eyebrow, crossing her arms.
"It's just that today marks the anniversary of my brothers death and I miss him. We didn't always see eye to eye but he was still my brother." He explains and Carol nodded in understanding before she looked around.
"Hey want to go and have some drinks? Maybe talk some more?" She asks curiously and Thor looked up at her before smiling faintly and getting up as she went to leave the room, going to the common area of base and went to the bar, taking out a couple of glasses and a bottle of whiskey.
"So were you and Loki close?" She asks as she passed a glass over to him and started drinking from hers.
"As children yes, not quite nearly as close as adults though and we hadn't become closer until shortly before Thanos when we had to kill our sister." He explains and Carol choked on her drink, wondering if she heard him correctly.
"I'm sorry?" She asks as she tried to keep her composure.
"Yes, turns out father had another child before us and he had banished her years ago only for her to come back and we had to defeat her."
"Oh well I'll have to say I've never had to experience something like that before." She explains as she downed her drink and went to our herself another glass.
Thor nodded, "so what about you? Do you have any siblings?" He asks as he went to pour himself another glass.
"Well I don't have much of a memory but I had three brothers," she explains with a shrug before looking down at her glass, "I was only close with one brother but I wasn't close with the other two or my parents. Before I joined the air force we all got into a huge fight about how I should just be a house wife," She adds as she went to sit next to him.
"Well that's not right," He says, shaking his head, "women can be even better warriors than men are at times." He adds.
"Well I'm glad someone understands."
"So how did you lose your memory if you don't mind my asking?" He asks curiously.
"Well the short version is that I was flying a plane while I was in the Air Force and it ended up being shot down and next thing I remember is waking up on Hala near dead with no memory."
"I'm sorry, that's very unfortunate." He explains with a sigh as he poured himself what seemed like his tenth glass of whiskey and Carol did the same.
"It's alright, I found out the Kree just ended up lying to me about where I came from and what happened to me. They betrayed me so I ended up betraying them and then over the years I met all these new people so it wasn't much of a loss." She explains with a shrug as she looked up at him, her blue eyes boring into his own.
"Well that's always a good thing I suppose." He nodded before leaning in close to her and Carol did the same before pressing her lips to his.
One thing lead to another before they knew it and the next thing they knew, they ended up in Thor's room again and nothing else was said as their clothes came off and fell to the floor.
