Heya Readers! Sooo, now that the world is in quarantine for a while, it dose give me a lot more time in working on my stories and adding new ones that I've been putting back for a while!
I have ALWAYS wanted to do a Avatar/TMNT fanfic, because when I was growing up, those were my favorite Nickelodeon cartoons. I will say though I have yet to watch The Legend Of Kora.
I should mention since this is now my 4th TMNT story, I know when I plan on ending them. "We Love You Sis" is going to do through the hole series. Where as the others will most likely end after season 3 or 4.
For this one; I want to do the big ending with the Mega Shredder fight, but cut out the Tricerations destroying the earth.
I am also adding Japaneses translations, If get some wrong, I'm sorry!
Anyway I hope you like my take on the Avatar in modern New York! Enjoy!
Karai glared at herself in her bedroom mirror. She had just failed to capture April O'Neil and after getting beaten by an amateur she felt like her ego was slightly cracked. She growled, punching the mirror shattering it. Her father's most trusted soldiers had turned into mutate monsters and he had just formed an alliance with aliens that call themselves KRAANG. It seemed like the Foot were in the lead, so why were they still losing to four teenage mutant turtles?!
Karai's angry thoughts were interrupted by her phone buzzing, someone was texting her. Pulling it out of her pocket she saw the picture icon of a girl her age, she picked up, "Konnichiwa Hana."
"Nē Karai! How's America?"
"Besides the language, the food, and culture, very similar to Japan. How about you?" Karai asked, feeling her anger disappear. Whenever she talked to her sister, she felt calm.
Hana groaned through the phone, "I've dealt with everything Shredder wanted me to do, Taking out the Reddofokkusu Clan, stole the Amaterasu sword, and got rid of Wabisuke for him."
"Well, you're accomplishing more then we are." Karai frowned, taking a seat on her bed.
"What do you mean?"
Karai paused for a moment. Oroku Saki had called upon her to aid him, but he had yet to contact Hana, who was still in the dark about his secret mission to get rid of his old enemy Hamato Yoshi. And she knew it wasn't her call to tell Hana but... Karai narrowed her eyes, We need the upper hand, "Father is having difficulties in dealing with an old enemy."
"Is that so?" Hana's chuckled, "But he has you there? If he really needed me, he would-"
"Father is letting his ego and anger overtake his rational judgment. He so clouded in revenge that we hardly had a moment of victory. Which is why I'm asking you; will you come to America and help?"
There was a moment of silence between them, as Karai waited for Hana to think it through. After a minute she replied, "It must be really serious if you're asking me. You sure that if I show up he won't freak?"
"I'll take responsibility. It will be just like old times," Karai smirked.
Hana let out a another chuckle, "Sounds like fun~ Ok, Mata chikaiuchini o ai shimashou."
Karai hung up, looking back at her reflection in the shattered mirror she narrowed her eyes and smirked, "Prepare yourself Leo, the Hannya is coming..."
Underground in the sewers on New York, April was watching TV with Donnie. In the last 5 days on living with them, she had gotten use to the routine. But that didn't stop her from feeling homesick. She hated the fact that not only were the KRAANG after her, but now the Foot.
Donnie noticed her frowning, not paying attention to what they were watching, "You Ok April?"
April the glanced at him, "Hu? Oh- yeah, just thinking..."
Donnie then frowned, quickly understanding what was bothering her, "Hey, I understand the frustration in not leaving the lair. Splinter never let us leave until we were 15, and it took a lot of begging. And don't worry, will figure out how to save your dad and defeat the Foot."
April lightly smiled, feeling a bit better after hearing Donnie's reassurance, "Thanks Donnie," the girl stood up from the couch, "Well, my 15 minutes are up, better get back to training." She headed the dojo, and Donnie watch her leave, frowning. He wished he could be of more help to his friend/crush.
That's when he thought of something; April told them that Karai said the Shredder wanted her, but why? Was it because she was friends with them, and wanted to get information on where they lair was? Or maybe use her as bait to lure him and his brothers into a trap? Donnie suddenly felt angry, he needed answers, it was the only way to help April out.
He looked to the kitchen where his brothers; Leo, Ralph and Mikey were eating lunch. Standing up he called to them, "Hey guys," he got their attention.
"What is it Donnie?" Leo asked.
"Group meeting," Donnie assured his hand, telling them to follow him in his lab. Ralph rolled his eyes, as Mikey quickly finished his sandwich, quickly following Donnie. Leo and Ralph got up as they all headed to the lab. Donnie shut the door, wanting to make sure Splinter or April wouldn't hear them.
'What's this about Donnie?' Leo asked, usually he would give group meetings.
"I think we should figure out why the Foot is after April."
Ralph then smirked, "Trying to empress her hu?"
Donnie blushed, glaring at him, "No! I want to help her, so she doesn't have to be trapped in our home for the rest of her life!"
Leo then thought, "Now that you mentioned it, why was Karai after April?"
"April said that Shredder wanted her, but for what?"
The turtles thought for a moment, until Mikey suggested, "Maybe we should asked the Foot themselves."
"That's obviously a stupid plan Mikey," Ralph snapped, "What, you really think Karai or Shredder would tell us?"
"No, maybe that's the only way?" Leo said, for once thinking Mikey's plan might work, "Ok, tonight we go in search for the Foot, and get any information out of them." His brothers nodded in agreement.
At the Foot Clan's headquarters, Shredder sat in his throne. He was in deep thought, after making a deal with the alien KRAANG's he let the one he had caught return to the rest of it's kind. Karai had failed to collected April O'Neil, he decided that his daughter needed more training, since he was disappointed in her for being beaten by amateur.
That's when he thought of his other daughter. But, he made it very clear to her that she was not allowed to come to America with Karai, saying that he had multiple assignments for her in Japan. Keeping her busy. But he starting thinking that that was a mistake and that maybe... he needed her more now, in hopes to defeat Hamato Yoshi. But if she did come, she could be at risk, and he couldn't have that. Yes she was powerful with her gift, but he had to make sure that that was all she knew and could learn.
Suddenly the doors swung open, and a teenage girl walked in. Dogpund and Fishface took a stance ready to protect their master. Shredder glared through his mask, as the girl walked up to him, "Konnichiwa, otōsan."
The two mutant's eyes widened, taking a glance at Shredder, "Boss..?" Fishface was about to ask, but was interrupted.
Shredder growled, "What are doing here Hana? I thought I ordered you to-"
"Taken care of, all of it~" Hana smirked, "And I was bored. I heard you were having a pest problem."
"Who contacted you?" He asked, but had an idea.
"it was me," Karai said, walking into the room till she was next to Hana, "Father, I think we need more support if you are wanting vengeance."
"You disobeyed me-"
"You don't think I can handle it?" Hana interrupted her father, narrowing her eyes, "Karai filled me in, I can't believe you can't take out a couple of teenagers," she smirked, before looking at the two mutants, "Though, I not very impressed." Dogpound and Fishface glared at the kunoichi, already disliking her.
Hana walked up the stairs, closer to her Shredder, "I can get rid of them father, please allow me to exterminate them," she placed her hands together and bowed half of her body.
There was a moment of silence, Hana kept bowing as Shredder thought. Karai clenched her fists in worry, hoping that Hana won't be punished for her decision. After minutes pasts Shredder finally spoke, "Very well. Don't disappoint me, my daughter."
Hana straighten back up, smirking, "You have my word." She left the room with Karai.
Shredder narrowed his eyes at his daughters, She had best not learn any new skills...
"So their mutant turtles, that are the same age as us?" Hana asked, as she unpacked her stuff in Karai's room.
"Yes, and I hate to admit it... but they skilled." Karai growled, as she helped Hana with her clothes. She frowned as she picked up one of her sisters ninja outfits, unlike her full black body-suit with sliver armor, Hana stuck with traditional kunoichi look, and while her sister did look intimidating, she thought it was too fancy. "How do you fight in this?"
Hana frowned, "Oi, that's one of my favorites!" she snatched it away, "Anyway, when will they show themselves?"
"At night, they always petrol the city. And while father has ordered you exterminate them, we need answers on where their lair is, their master, and the girl that their protecting."
"Wow, mutants, aliens. I should have come sooner, I've been missing out." Hana tied her hair in a large french-braid, and wrapped her fabric scarf around her waist. She grabbed her mask and put in over her mouth and noise. The two kunoichis' heard lightning outside, no doubt it will start raining, "Ah, perfect," Hana turned to her sister, "Wish me luck~"
Rain came poring down hard. The turtles ran and jumped over the building of the city, looking to see if any Foot were out. So far nothing, and they were getting drenched. Ralph groaned turning to his leader, "Leo this isn't gonna work!"
"You think the Foot took a rain check?" Mikey asked.
"Evil doesn't take a rain check Mickey!" Leo shouted, thunder and lighting crackled through out the sky, as it echoed.
The turtles decided to stop for a moment, Donnie looked up in the cloudy sky, "Ok, maybe we should put this on hold?"
"You're the one who wanted to look into things." Ralph glared at him.
"Yeah well that was before it started raining, and our risk of getting hit by lightning," he was talking about them being up high, not to mention their metal weapons which attracts lightning even more.
The turtles arguing was cut short by a giggling sound. They stopped, looking around the roof. Pulling out their weapons they watched each others backs, the giggling continued, but because the loud rain-fall it was hard to pinpoint where it was coming from. Until Ralph spotted a figure on top of a water tower, he nudged his brothers shoulders getting their attention, till they spotted them.
Lightning flashed behind the person, giving the turtles more light. Right off the back, they could tell it was girl: same age as them, with long black hair that looked blue, tied in a high braid with side-bangs. She had bright blue eyes, and pale skin. She wore a short, black sleeveless kunoichi dress, with long black pointed-gloves, and thigh-high black lights. She had blue gagged armor on her forearms, shoulders and knee-high boots. She also wore a big blue scarf that wrapped around her waste like a obijime, and hanging on it was a purple saké bottle. But what really freak them out was the blue and gold Hannya mask on her face.
"So," she spoke, "You're the ones that have been causing trouble hu? What a joke." she chuckled.
"Who the heck are you?" Ralph snapped back at her.
"Well, I'm a lot of things," she said, jumping off the water-tower, "I am a stilled kunoichi, an assassin, and an excellent thief," she list off while circling the turtles, "But I'm well know for being called, Mizu Akuma."
Mikey whispered to Leo, "What does that mean?"
"It means water demon," the kunoichi said, "You're suppose to be ninjas and you don't know Japanese?"
"What do you want?" Leo asked, wanting to get to the point.
They couldn't tell but she was grinning behind her mask, "Well, I was ordered to kill you and get information, my master really has a hatred for your sensei." she tilted her head in a creepy fashion, "So I'm thinking, I'll just get rid of 3 of you and keep 1 for my sister."
"Sister?" Donnie asked.
Ralph pointed his sais at her, "I don't know if you noticed sweetheart, but there's 4 of us and 1 of you."
"Do you really think I need backup to take out sewer-scum like you?" Lighting struck again, making the situation even creepier.
She spread her legs out and arms, before bring them together, keeping her arms straight out she flicked her risks up. The turtles raised their eyes, not sure if she was taking a stance, and she didn't seem to have any weapons. Until they noticed the water falling around them had stopped, the turtles moved their eyes, and saw the water levitating around them. They widened their eyes, looking back at the kunoichi, she narrowed her eyes while still grinning behind her mask.
She circled her arms, gathering more rain water, until she formed a 8 foot wave, from behind her. She lunged her arms out and the wave split it in 2 passing her, charging at the turtles. Ralph was the first to dough, but his brothers weren't so lucky, the water in-gloved them, and then froze into 2 ice wave. Ralph looked in horror as his brothers were frozen inside.
"Wow, it's taken by master months to defeat you, and I take 3 of you out in 5 seconds." She said, "How sad, clearly he was over exaggerating on your skills."
Ralph glared at her and charged, yelling out. She didn't feel threatened as she crossed her forearms together. Ralph pressed his sais against her armor, pushing her back with all his strength. He manged to make her move back, but she pushed his sais off her and kneed him in the shell, hard. Ralph grunted in pain, thank goodness his shell was hard, otherwise she would have cut him with her gagged knee-pad. Recovering quickly, he flung his arms towards her face, trying to punch her. The kunoichi moved her head side to side, before moving her arms again, this time freezing the water on the ground. Ralph panicked, as his legs slipped, trying to stay up.
"You know my sister did tell me your names, so I'm assuming your Raphael?" The kunoichi taunted him.
"Sister?" Ralph questioned, but then put two and two together. Her master wanted them dead, and information, and she had a sister, "Your-"
She narrowed her eyes,"I'm Oroku Saki second daughter. And you, are now mine." She moved her arms once more, gathering more rain water, forming a large water ball over Ralph. She spread her fingers out, bending them, the water ball turned into icicles. Ralph panicked as she brought then down upon him, he covered his head. But the icicles fell around his body, trapping him.
Ralph opened his eyes, he tried to move his arms and body, but he was stuck between the ice. He looked at the kunoichi, she walked in front of him, and took off her mask. Now that he got a closer look at her face, he noticed a birthmark on left side of her eyebrow, and her eyes were bight as sapphires. She had the same makeup like Karai, except she had blue eye-shadow and black lipstick. She smiled, watching him struggle, "I might as well tell you my name, seeing as how you won't last much longer," she grabbed his chin lifting it up, "It's Hana."
Ralph glared at her, "So... what are you going to do now?"
"Well, if you tell me where you're hiding the red-headed princess, I might spare your life~"
Even though Ralph kept his hatred glare at the girl, be was panicking in his head. For the longest time, he and his brothers were able to get the upper hand, (not including the first encounter with Shredder), aliens, the Foot, and the Purple Dragons. and then some girl comes along and beats them in minutes. But he figured if she was doing to do something, he might as well ask her a few questions, "What dose Shredder want with April?"
"Oh, he doesn't want her, but his new friends do."
Ralph assumed she was talking about the KRAANG. So the Foot Clan is now align with KRAANG, this was bad, "Ok, 1 more question; what are you really?"
To his surprised she narrowed her eyes at him, and let go on his chin. She straightened her poster, "I am the very last of my kind, I am a rare gem that was hunted to extension. I... am a Waterbender. And I sore to take down those you have killed my kind. That includes the Hamato Clan."
Ralph took a moment to let everything she said sink in. Water bender? Hunted by Hamatos, "That's a lie! My sensei would never do that!" He shouted, struggling to break free.
Hana raised her brow, not believing him, "Oh really? Did he ever tell you about other elemental Benders? Or even the Avatar?"
Ralph stopped struggling and blinked, "Avatar?"
Hana closed her eyes, looking to the side, "It doesn't matter." she frowned sadly, before glaring back at the red-masked turtle, "You are going to tell me everything! The girl, your lair, and your sensei!" She lifted her right hand up, slowly bending her finger in, Ralph grunted as the ice around him tightened.
'Grr... Yeah well tough luck, because I'm saying a word."
Hana frowned, then glanced at the 3 turtles that were still frozen, "You seem to care a lot about you family." Ralph felt a shiver down his spine as he saw her grin. She put her Hannya mask back on, and moved passed him, moving her arms, she melted the ice. The wave of water flooded the roof. Leo, Donnie and Mikey gasped for air, shivering from the cold, "Welcome back boys, let me help you out." Hana then form the rest of the water from the roof, trapping the 3 turtles in ice like Ralph.
Hana then walked up to Leo, who glared at her, "Hmm... I know my sister really has her heart set on taking you out, so I'll leave you for her." She then turned to Donnie and Mickey, "Which leaves you 2."
Donnie glared at Hana, "You not getting any information on April!" He tried to act strong, unfortunately that was all Hana needed to know.
"...You like her, don't you?" Donnie's eyes widened, "This is just too easy~" Hana reached for her saké bottle, opening it, she used her Waterbending to pull out green liquid. The turtles could only watch in horror, as Hana flicked the liquid at Donnie, into his open mouth and forced it down his throat. She then released the turtles from the ice, as he fell to the ground going into a coughing hit.
"Donnie!" his brothers screamed, unable to free themselves from their ice prison.
Hanna walked back to Ralph, "That poison is from a mamushi pit-viper. I have the antidote, if you want your brother to live, you hand over the girl. And you better hurry, you only have a few hours." She then melted the ice, the 3 brothers rushed to Donnie. Ralph then glared at Hana. He picked up his sais, screaming in rage he charged at her. But Hana just smirked, using her Waterbending again she was lifted up in the air, "Sayōnara, turtle." She used a smoke bomb and diapered.
Ralph glared where she last stood, as the water fell down like waterfall. Rushing back to his brothers, he got down on his knees. Donnie wasn't looking too good, as the snake venom was now going through his body.
"What do you do now?!" Mikey asked, frantically.
Leo looked down at Donnie before picking him up. "Get back to the lair, hurry!"
The turtles came charging into the dojo, where Splinter and April were meditating, "Splinter!"
Being awoken, the two gasped out at the sight of Donatello. "What happened?!" Splinter asked, standing up.
"W-We were attack by a kunoichi!" Leo tried to explained.
"She poisoned Donnie with her magic water tricks!" Mikey said, mimicking what he saw Hana do with his arms and hands.
"Magic water?" April asked, while looking worried at her turtle friend.
"Waterbending..." Ralph looking down muttering, but he was loud enough for the others to hear.
Splinter's eyes widened even more, but he quickly dropped it. He took Donnie from Leo, and laid his son gently on the floor. "What kind of poison was it?"
"She said it was a mamushi pit-viper." Leo frowned.
"The most toxic snake in japan..." Splintered mumbled.
"It gets worse," Ralph turned to April, "She said she'd give us the antidote, if we give you up to the Foot."
April gasped, and she felt tears fall down her face. Gilt quickly consumed her mind, "This is my fault..."
Leo placed his hand on her shoulder, "No it's not April." He brought her into a hug.
"There is still a chance to save Donatello." Splinter said, looking at the others. Getting the message they walked out, giving him space and silence. Once Leo closed the screen door, Splinter looked back at his son, taking off his mask. He thought back to what Raphael had said, "A Waterbender... this isn't good."
Back at the Foot headquarters Shredder was glaring at his daughter, "Hana, I gave you one simple instruction! And you're telling me that you let them go?!"
"Do you not trust me father?" Hana frowned, "And might I add, how it is that you haven't yet killed them yourself? It took me seconds to bring them all down!" Hana rarely talked back to Shredder even though she knew she would be punished, "Rirakkusu, I've poison one of them and made a bargain. They won't be able to go to a hospitable, meaning they will have to come here, with April O'Neil."
Shredder stood up, walking over to his daughter, Hana took a quick glance at his steel-claws, as he walked past her, "You better hope they do..."
Bowing her head, she walked out the main-room, she took a deep breath, sliding down on the door. Her heart was beating very fast, but she told herself, that this was nothing knew, even if the turtles don't come with the girl, and she get's punished, she can always heal herself. Standing back up, she headed to her and her sister's room.
Splinter breathed through his noise, as he preformed mantra on Donatello: using the healing hands. And while Donnie felt his body burn from the inside, the mantra was slowly curing him.
Outside the dojo everyone waited patiently, in worry. While waiting for Donnie to get better, Ralph told the others about Hana and what she told him. "So she said that she was the last of her kind?" Leo asked, "And she's Karai's sister?!"
Ralph nodded, "That's what she told me. She said that others hunted her and other benders to extinction. And that the Hamato Clan were one of those people."
"That doesn't make since though? Why would the Hamato Clan hunt people?" April wondered.
"Why do you think Splinter never told us?" Mikey asked. The others got very quiet; they didn't want to think their father was keeping secrets, and that he was trustworthy.
Ralph then added, "There's another thing she said, she told me that not only Benders were extincted, but also the Avatar?"
"Avatar what's that?" Leo made a face.
Ralph shrugged, "No clue, but she was very upset when she told me." Ralph then glared over to the dojo. His brother was slowly ding and it was all her fault. She wasn't like Karai or Shredder or even like his minions. She was on a hole different level then what they were. She was dangerous, unpredictable and took them all out in a minute. Next time we meet, I'll have the upper hand... He vowed.
Just then the dojo's screen door opened, and Splinter stepped out. The teenagers gathered around him, "How is he, Splinter?" Leo asked.
"Is he going to be Ok?" April begged.
Splinter held up his hand, quieting them, "Donatello has recovered from the poison. But he needs rest right now," they all side in relief, "Mikey, please go get a blanket and pillow for you brother. April would you mind starting some tea?" they both nodded, hurrying off. Splinter then turned to Leo and Ralph, "I would like to speak with you two."
Splinter lead them into his bedroom, which was next to the dojo so they could monitor Donnie. The turtles sat down on their knees in front of their sensei. Splinter joined them on the floor, "Now, tell me what happened."
Leo glanced at Ralph, "Sensei, Ralph was mostly the one to fought the kunoichi." Splinter turned his head to red-masked turtle.
Ralph took a deep breath, and told his father what he told his brothers and April, "She came out of nowhere, it was raining and she took advantage of it. She would do these... movements with her arms that the rain water would form into large waves and ice... She froze Leo, Donnie and Mickey in ice, I tried to fight her but she trapped me in ice as well." while listening, Splinter nodded his, "Her name is Hana, and she said she was the daughter of Shredder." Splinter then frowned, making Ralph bow his head in shame, "I'm sorry sensei! I wasn't strong enough to stop her!"
"We're all to blame Ralph." Leo frowned, being the leader and the oldest he was suppose to make sure his brothers were safe.
"No one is to blame." Splinter said, "I was unfortunately unaware that Oroku Saki had children, nor one that was a Bender."
The 2 turtles looked back up at their father, "Splinter, what are elemental Benders? And... what is the Avatar?"
Splinter sighed out, knowing he couldn't keep this from them, "Wait until Donatello has awoken, then I shall tell five of you."
Hana looked out the window, as the rain kept falling. Time was up, and the turtles hadn't come; which means either the purple one died, or he was magically healed. The kunoichi sighed in frustration, "He's never gonna let me live this down..."
"I'm not gonna let him," Hana turned around to see Karai at the door, glaring with hatred, "I brought you here without answering to him first-"
"Karai-" Hana tried to speak, but her sister was enraged.
"NO! I'm the oldest! He shouldn't have to do this to you! And why only you?! Why not let me take the punishment for once!" Karai screamed angrily, almost to the break of tears.
Hana walked over and wrapped her arms ground her sister, "It's Ok... I'll be Ok. I'm use to this by now." Karai hug her sister back, tightening her hold. They stayed like that for a good moment, before parting. Hana gave Karai a reassuring smile, "Remember, I can always heal myself. And don't worry, I'll get those sewer-sums back for this." she narrowed her eyes, grinning.
It took a few hours for Donnie to start feeling better; he was still couching, and his stomach was hurting so he could only drink tea and water. Once his headache was better, Splinter called everyone into the dojo. The turtles and April sat on the floor, in front of their sensei.
Splinter had laid a blank scroll on the floor, "Pay attention, all of you. This is a story that goes back to the beginning of this world's time. When there were special nations across the world. These lands were home to a unique race of people who bore the ability to focus their chi, and to control an element. These people were known as Benders, and they were divided into four nations."
Dipping his paint brush in the black ink, Splinter started to draw 4 symbols. The first was a drawing on a mountain with a spiral in the center, "On the mainland were benders who could focus their chi into strong stances to manipulate the earth beneath their feet. For both offense and defense. This technique also aided the blind by sensing the tremors beneath their feet. This was known as the Earth Kingdom and it's people were Earthbenders."
Next he drew a flame with the same spiral center, "Centuries ago the Fire Nation those who could bend fire tried to conquer the world and it's people, capturing and destroying other benders. However they were defeated, and peaces was brought back to the world. Though Firebending is the most dangerous, those who harness that power for the light of good can create many beautiful things. Yin and Yang."
The third drawing was 3 spirals going counterclockwise, "The Airbender nomads, who live on four points of the continent, detached themselves from worldly problems and is the element of freedom: it is the most passive of the other elements and is mainly used for defense. The air nomads even used air bending to run vast distances in a matter of minutes and even giving them flight."
And the last was a circle with drawn 3 waves, "And the very last. Scattered from the Southern Pole to the Northern Pole of the world were people who thrive in watery terrain. Their movements were in tune with the current and became stronger in the light of a full moon. Their bending could turn a drop of water into an icicle, cause large tidal waves, and even heal the ill and wounded. They were known as the Waterbnders of the Water Tribes."
"That's what Hana was able to do." Leo said, frowning.
"So then... these 4 nations once existed?" Donnie asked, while lightly coughing, "What happened to them?"
Splinter then frowned, "As centuries pasted, technology began to grow, and thus came more wars, people thought bending was too dangerous. Too inhuman, pretty soon benders went into hiding, and fell into the life as normal people. I have never seen a Bender in my life time, but my father Hamato Yuuta, knew one long ago. They were very close and good friends. unfortunately his bending was found out, and she was taken away..."
Everyone frowned in sadness, "So then, the Hamato Clan didn't attack Benders?" Mikey asked.
"Hana is wrong." Ralph glared, but his anger was more towards Shredder now. He's giving her fails information, making it look like we're the bad guys. Ralph looked up at his father, "So then if these were the 4 elements," he pointed to the symbols on the scroll, "What is the Avatar?"
Splinter then drew one more symbol, a circle with 2 spirals intertwining each other, "The Benders were all unique, but each person had control over the one element that they were born into. However, there was only one being who could harness the power of all four elements. This person maintains the world's balance of good and evil, right and wrong, Yin and Yang. They also bore the ability to enter and communicate within the Spirit World. The reason being that is because this person is actually the human vessel of the spirit of the entire planet. This person is known as…The Avatar."
"Hana said that the Avatar was destroyed. Is that true?" Ralph asked.
"The Avatar is born within a cycle. When the Avatar dies, they are reborn into the next nation of the cycle: Water, Earth, Fire and Air, before repeating itself over again. However if the Avatar was to be the Avatar State: It allows the current Avatar to channel immense cosmic energy and knowledge of all past Avatars, enabling them to perform unimaginable feats. It puts the Avatar in a state of mechanism, like a puppet to the vast powers of the Avatar. It is when they are at their most powerful, but as well as their most vulnerable."
"Meaning..?" April dragged out her question.
"If the Avatar were to be killed in the Avatar State, the cycle would be broken, and the Avatar would cease to exist." Splinter then started pulling at his beard, thinking, "Though I have heard rumors that the Avatar has not been seeing a years, there is no evidence if they were killed."
"So, what you're saying is, that if the Avatar wasn't killed in the Avatar state, the cycle will continue in a new Bender?" Leo asked, to which Splinter nodded.
"You guys don't think... Hana is...?" Mikey was about to finished his question, but everyone gave him a look, making him stop.
"No, if she was she would have destroyed us." Leo shook his head.
"And she only used Waterbending." Donnie added, suddenly feeling sick again in remembering she forced him to drink snake-venom.
"Splinter, do you know what element the last Avatar was?" Leo asked.
Splinter shook his head, "I'm afraid not. But I can tell you is this: Now that we know Oroku Saki has a Waterbender on his side, your lives and safety are at a greater risk. If you are to encounter this girl again, do NOT challenge her. Do I make myself clear?"
The turtles saw the seriousness in their father's eyes, that looked showed them that he was worried. Which hardly ever happened. Hana was dangerous, and they needed to stay away from her. "We understand sensei." Leo bowed his head, two which his brother and April did the same.
But Ralph couldn't stop thinking about her. He emotions were all over the place; now knowing about benders and the Avatar, and now meeting Hana. He had a real hatred for her after what she did to him and his brothers, but at the same time he thought about the Avatar... what if Mickey is right?... she was the next Avatar? Does she know? Does Shredder know? The Avatar was meant for peace and harmony, something she clearly didn't have. But Ralph needed to know more about her, if he was to take her down. I wonder how much Shredder has told her...?
Karai hid behind the doors of the Foot headquarters, watching as Hana stood in front of their father's throne. Hana's poster was straight, and she had blank face that showed no emotion. Her breathing was normal as she channeled her fear, waiting for her punishment to happen. "I am sorry I failed you father."
Shredder was silent for a moment, "This is most disappointing Hana. And hear you spoke so highly of yourself..." he growled under his breath, sill Hana kept calm.
"I shall not do that again master, I underestimated the turtles. But I swear not to fail you again."
"No you shan't," Shredder got up and walked towards his daughter, using his steel-claws, he lifted her chin up. the sharp tip touched her neck and a little drop of blood trickled down, "However, since you were unprepared, I think you need more physical training..." Hana felt her palms get sweaty as she was forced to stare up at her father, his red dead-eye along with his half burnt face really was the stuff of nightmares. And he knew just how to use it to control his youngest daughter.
"I understand father..." Hana gently replied.
"Good," And with that Shredder dropped his claw, letting her leave. Karai held back her tears as she looked up saying "thank you". Hana quickly joined her side and the 2 sisters headed back to their room.
Shredder sat back down and watched as his daughter left, his fingers clenched the arm rest of his throne, She was suppose to stay in Japan for a reason... Now that the turtles know about her existence... he had to force himself to calm down, She must stay in my control. She must Never know the truth. For he knew if she did, he would be at a grave disadvantage.
