Chapter One: The Hunter and The Prey
A black haired teen walks down the street sighing with his spiky bangs moving in time with his steps, his dark to light grey eyes occasionally glance around at the street ahead before closing his eyes continuing down the street, he wore a grey waistcoat, with a black ribbon tied over his long white shirt, his dark grey jeans fluttered
Students countlessly walk past him in a somewhat speedy pace, his mind is taken back to his previous hunting trip where a small little birdy said there was interesting activity happening around the Kuoh Academy, so the first thing he did was forge a new identity and ready himself making sure he's on high alert for any interesting feelings.
However, before he could react he finds himself walking straight into a long hair girl from the same school which sent her falling onto the hallway floor, the girl was far from normal she had a distinct feeling to any Humans around here.
The boy, however, continued to walk down the hallway not even glancing back.
Suddenly, a hand plants itself on his shoulder forcing him to since around to meet the enraged brown eyes of a boy from the school; "Listen pal, when you charge into a lady you say sorry or were you raised on a barn?"
The boy knocks his hand away; "Before you start a fight. You might want to ask for my name?"
"Why would I do that?" replies the spiky brown-haired boy.
"Cause you'll need to know who is responsible for knocking you out flat," says the grey-eyed boy quickly thinking to himself; 'he has a feeling of a low-level demon or maybe some demon got wiped off onto him.'
"My name is Issei Hyoudou and I'm the one knocking you out flat," says the boy named Issei preparing a powerful left straight punch.
Quickly, the boy ducked to the left letting the punch blast past his head while a grin edged onto his face; "I'm Setsuna Sonohara," Setsuna gives his right leg up to slam a sharp kick into Issei's side just under his rib cage hitting his liver.
Issei falls flat onto the floor unable to get up from the floor, Setsuna stands over him; "You'll be able to move after your blood vessels stop contracting."
Before heading to his new class he hears someone saying the name "Rias" which makes Setsuna stop to turn to the red-headed girl thinking to himself; 'seems like the hunter has set their sets on their new prey. Rias you better not disappoint.'
Setsuna sat in the classroom mindlessly writing in his notebook whatever the teaches say, until he gets his chance to shine in chemistry. Even if he's on a job, chemistry is always fun so he spent the lesson slowly dismantling the teacher's lesson and proving his superior knowledge.
By the school day ends, Setsuna stands on the roof letting the wind rush past him like traffic, he watches the students leaving while the blue sky is now replaced with a burning orange as the sun slowly sets.
A small black mist leaves his sleeves to become much bigger and swirling around him before it forms a small black puppy-wolf at his right side with its red eyes staring down at the people, Setsuna picks up the puppy with a red sword-like blade coming from his head; "Alrighty, now it's your turn Jin."
Setsuna reveals a strand of crimson red hair; "You just need to track down this scent."
The puppy gives him a bark of agreement with a shake of his head, he places the puppy on the floor carefully only to have Jin run towards the exit to the stairs, Setsuna smiles at his little puppy trying to work hard but his attention is quickly drawn to the crowd of people leaving but one was staring up at him, it was a petite girl with white hair and gold eyes.
She turned on the stop and walked about into the school, Setsuna couldn't help but think if he was spotted and now they know he's on their tail, his right-hand slips out of his pocket and places it in the air summoning a small magic circle, Setsuna smirks; 'this will mask my location long enough to get out of here.'
He turns on the stop and disappears down the stairs masterfully sticky to the shadows of the school's hallways managing to keep out of sight until he free and out the school, gates leaving him to smirk to himself; 'By tomorrow afternoon, I would kill me a gang of demons.'
The next day, Setsuna looked at the occult research clubhouse that stood on the school grounds, he managed to place a listening bug during their little team meeting, apparently, they are having a team battle in a so-called Rating match. A perfect time for a hunt.
Setsuna skips school that day preparing holy water shotgun shells placing them in a shell ammo strap, he spent a good time memorising the school layout and prepared himself against anything that could possibly happen. He sits on his motel room floor staring at the clock watching it tick by until it is time.
He got up from the floor grabbing the two shell ammo straps and placing them across his body, throws his long crimson red two-tailed coat over him, his military black boots with his black jeans covering the top part of it, he picks up a duffle bag and puts the strap over himself.
He walks out of the motel door on the first floor which allowed him to look over the parking lot, he walks up to the railings of the motel and he leaps over them, smoothly landing on the floor, he walks over to his black Chongqing BULL 250cc Chopper, he throws his leg over the chopper, he places himself on the bike, he shoves the key into the engine and with a turn, it comes to life roaring. He places his hands on the hand bars and he quickly speeds out the parking lot turning to the left and raced to the school, the wind rushes by him as he makes his way towards his new hunt.
He slows down as he approaches the school's gate, he stops just inside of the school, he takes the key out of the engine, he throws his himself off of the bike; 'it seems like they have already started.'
Setsuna knelt down, placing his hand on the floor and summons a magic circle; 'This dimensional gap doesn't seem hard to break into but either way, whoever is in charge with notice me.'
Suddenly, he disappears and reappears in the dimensional gap that looked exactly like the school, he began to walk into the school when he notices shouts from the gymnasium.
However, someone begins to speak; "There seems to be an intruder who has appeared in the dimensional gap but we can not do anything as it would disrupt the game."
"It seems they have noticed me, oh well," says Setsuna out load; "Guess I'll have to fight a little earlier then expect."
Setsuna takes the bag off and unzips it, revealing two Winchester 1987s in two separate holsters, he straps them two his back with easy access for him, he pulls them out showing one of them is black with a sliver flower-like patterns, the other one is white with a golden flower-like pattern.
With them both being in separate hands, he has to put one under his arm to load the shells, he spins the shotguns to reload them, he walks into the gymnasium spotting three naked girls on the floor, at first Setsuna is confused to why and how they are naked, Setsuna takes out a knife and slices off the stage's curtain, before throwing it over to them where they thanked him.
He walked off the edge of the stage and up to them; "Don't thank me. I just didn't want to kill you while you're naked," he brings up both his Winchester to fire a single shell from each into the two twins where they instantly break into blue shards, he spins both before shooting the last one and she breaks into blue shards, he walks off reloading each with more shells before spinning it.
Setsuna enters the main school building when he begins talking to himself; "Since there is another team of demons, which means they want to go after my prey. No one goes after my prey, so they must die."
As he walks the black mist appears once more and the black puppy forms next to him, he walks down the hallways trying to find the other teams home base see if he can eliminate them, cannon fodder from the other team begins running down the hallway towards him where he effortlessly knocks away there attacks with the barrel of his guns before using the other to pump them full of them full of lead, making them burst into blue dust. Setsuna moves down the hallway until.
Quickly, A devil maid bursts from cover and spin kicks Setsuna's guns from his hands half-way down the hallway, Setsuna clenched his teeth in anger. He rolls backwards getting away from the axe kick from the maid wanting to decapitate him.
"Stop running away, you asshole," says the maid anger, Setsuna gave her a blank stare before reaching behind him.
The maid dashed forward but Setsuna backsteps while throwing a grenade at the maid who meets it head-on. However, as it explodes a light blue gas spreads quickly encasing the maid and freezing her in place. Setsuna sighed and picked his shotguns up before aiming one at the ice statute and blowing it into pieces before it disappears in blue dust.
Setsuna quickly loads enough shells to fill the gun, he walks down the hall not finding any more devils to kill, he notices the shouting outside has stopped but the sounds of battle seem to be overhead. 'On the roof?!' thinks Setsuna to himself quickly running up a flight of stairs; 'At least their making the hunt difficult.'
Setsuna spots the situation on top of the roof as he stealthily makes his way up, Rias, his prey who for some reason had her clothes torn revealing one of her breasts stands in front of a blonde girl and that idiot Issei from his pathetic fight and a blonde man stood across from Rias with a floating woman behind him.
However, by the time Setsuna got up to the roof, the blonde man stood before Issei summoning a massive ball of fire, Setsuna quickly places one of his guns in his holster before running and jumping over the fire devil while firing off the five rounds his shotgun can hold, quickly filling the devil filled with lead.
Setsuna lands behind Issei grabbing him by the collar and throws him further away from the fight, the blonde man quickly healed with anger running over his face; "What are you meant to be a hero among devils?!"
Setsuna spits it his side before staring down the blonde devil; "No. I'm here for my prey and you're trying to kill her before me."
"Kill her? I want to marry her," says the blonde man with confused glare from Setsuna.
"What?" asks Setsuna, stopping in his tracks before shaking his head; "I'll still kill you, like the others."
"Like the others? They were only taken out of the game," says the blonde devil to Setsuna's shock.
"They're not dead?" Setsuna says looking as if his soul just left him; "For god's sake!"
Setsuna gritted his teeth and grabs his shotguns; "Okay now I'm most definitely pissed."
"Oh well, you're only human what can you d-" says the blonde man before earning himself a shotgun blast to sever his arm.
His eyes instantly meet the cold and pissed stare from Setsuna; "I'm gonna rip and tear you apart and everything here until it's done."
"Not bad, you seem to be able to handle yourself but Riser Phenex won't lose to some random human," says Riser as flaming wings fire out from his back as flames begin to spiral from his right hand.
Setsuna checked his ammo and summoned his puppy Jin to help fight; "Jin careful. This guy has a thing for fire."
Jin barks in understanding, Setsuna breaths one cool breath before running towards Riser, who fires a burst of flames which Setsuna barely dodges by quick-stepping to the side but the fire leaps onto his jacket to slowly eat away at it, Setsuna gave it no thought trying to close the distance between him and Riser.
However, Riser fires another blast failing to notice Setsuna diving under and appeared crouched down in front of him until the last second as he springs up fire two shots in Riser's face stunning him, Setsuna plants a crushing kick sending him stumbling back leaving him to quickly spin around and open fire on him without a second thought filling him with holes.
Riser manages to step back as Setsuna smoothly and calmly reloads both of his shotguns, Riser didn't get far until Jin stabs Riser's leg with the blade protruding from his head, Riser kicks Jin to the side spitting; "Stupid mutt!"
"Ay!" shouts Setsuna placing the shotgun from point-blank range; "Don't speak to Jin like that."
Just as he was about to pull the trigger, Riser summons a bright light instantly blinding Setsuna which leaves him open for Riser to place a bone-cracking punch to his jaw, still stunned and unable to see Setsuna is then beaten with blood dripping down his face like a river and coughing blood. Riser begins to say something but Setsuna couldn't hear until he stops to turn about to Rias and then Setsuna closing his eyes to fall into the dark abyss.
...Darkness…
...Nothing…
A sudden jolt shocks every muscle in Setsuna's body forcing him to spring up like a jack in the box, his head is on a swivel scanning the area that he did not know nor the bed, it was dark it had a window with the curtain closed and in the dark, there was no hint of familiarity. As the loud cracking door slowly pushed open Setsuna's eyes were slight blindly by the light but as they adjusted he noticed the figure but couldn't stop the words from leaving his mouth; "The hell?"
