"I mean there's plenty of fish in the sea. I think that's what they say," Duncan said looking up at his friend Pj. They walked along the sidewalk together. Duncan was talking about how Pj needed a girlfriend and Pj begged to differ.

"I mean there's lots of girls Pj, I can't think of any, but you'll find someone," Duncan patted his friend on the back.

"You and Debbie are friends aren't you? You two could make a good match." Pj was no longer filled with what was sadness, but now anger.

"Debbie? She's in love with me!" Pj looked at his best friend like he was crazy.

"That's even more the reason to be with her!"

Pj was very angry. Debbie and him were hardly friends at all. It was more one sided. She loved him and he did not love her back.

"In fact I think I ship you two," Duncan kept on rambling, oblivious to Pj's anger.

"Just stop talking about it Duncan!" Pj yelled at his friend.

Duncan was shocked. He had never seen Pj so angered. Duncan looked in Pj's eyes and there was nothing but anger and frustration.

It was silent for a moment until Duncan spoke up again. But he wasn't too loud, just a murmur.

"Okay, jeez, I was just trying to help you out."

Pj heard that and looked down at Duncan, slightly less fired up.

"I don't need any help, okay. I already have someone on my mind and I don't need you shipping me with some love-crazy, stupid girl!"

"And who is that mysterious girl you have on your mind?" Duncan teased him.

"That's none of your business," Pj pushed pass Duncan and walked more ahead of him.

"It is too my business! I'm your best friend Pj!" Duncan called after him, running up to his side once again.

"It's you Duncan," Pj softly whispered under his breath.

"What is that? I can't hear you." Duncan teased him more. That just made Pj even more embarrassed to tell him.

"It's you! Okay, you heard it. Now just leave me alone!" Pj pushed past him again but this time walked farther away than before.

Duncan yet again ran up to his best friend. He looked at Pj, and Pj looked at him. They both stopped walking and Duncan hugged Pj.

Pj was surprised. But he hugged Duncan back and kissed the top of his head, as Duncan was a little smaller than him.

"Pj, it's okay." Duncan calmed him. Hugging more tightly around him.

"No," Pj started to cry a little bit letting go of Duncan, "it's not okay. You're my best friend."

Duncan looked at Pj's tear-covered face. Duncan started to cry a little himself. He wiped the tears off of Pj's face. Then he looked at him again, pressing his lips to Pj's for a split second.

Pj's face turned happy again as a smile crept up onto his face.

"It's okay because I kinda like you too." Duncan said, embarrassed and looking down at the ground.

Pj put his hand under Duncan's chin, lifting it up.

"Don't be embarrassed, Duncan."

They shared another kiss before walking together again, hand-in-hand.
