Banshee: Hello everyone! The newest chapter of "Life with Organization XIII" is up, and I already wrote a little mini-paragraph there to explain my lack of an update. This oneshot is a bonus for you guys, so I hope you enjoy it.
Some Quick Notes: This is a genderbend fic, so Axel and Nikki's genders are switched. Axelle is fem!Axel, and Nick is male!Nikki.
Disclaimer: I only own my OC and the plot.
"I'm bored."
Those two little words always filled Nick with dread. If there's one thing he knew about Axelle, it's that her being bored usually resulted in her using it as an excuse to torment him... not that she needed an excuse anyway; she always tortured him no matter what.
Nick's parents and older brother were all out for the day, and as soon as Axelle found out she invited herself over and insisted that she stay with him because she "wanted to keep him company," or something like that. How nice of her.
"I'm bored." She repeated.
"I know." Nick snapped. "I heard you the first bloody time. What do you want me to do about it?"
Axelle put her finger to her chin and went into thought, but it only lasted for a few seconds before she said with that "Ah-ha!" look on her face, "How about we play a game?"
That suggestion made Nick cringe. Axelle's "games" usually consisted of her coming up with ways to embarrass or torture him.
"No." He said immediately.
"Aw, come on." Axelle whined. She added with a sweet smile, "I think you'll like this one. Come on, please~?"
Nick thought about it for a moment. If he said yes, then he was at the mercy of whatever Axelle had up her sleeve, but if he said no, then she would just continue to bug him until he caved in. If that happened, her "suggestions" would just get more and more uncomfortable and embarrassing; for him. Not wanting to end up with something a lot worse, he reluctantly agreed. "Fine. What is it?"
"The Nervous Game."
Nick immediately blushed, his face turning a bright pink at the mention of that game. "Uh-uh." He refused, shaking his head. "Forget it."
"What's the matter? Don't think you can handle it?"
As soon as she said those six words, the brunette's eyes narrowed. He knew exactly what she was doing. She was baiting him. What irritated him the most was how she asked that question with that coy smile on her face, acting like it was an innocent little question when it was an attack on his pride. He always tried his hardest not to fall for this ploy, but it seemed like every time he tried he would just cave in faster.
Well not this time.
He crossed his arms and looked away, figuring that if he didn't look at Axelle, then he wouldn't have to see that smirk that always irritated him enough to make him cave.
That plan didn't last long, however. Even though he wasn't looking at her, he knew that her eyes were burning a hole right through him. Just the fact that those eyes were watching him was making his resolve weaken as his body started to shake.
"Fine!" He gave in after only about thirty seconds. "I'll play your stupid game."
Axelle smiled. He fell for that every time.
"Okay." She said. "You know the rules, right?"
"Y-Yeah.. I do..."
"Let's begin then, shall we~?"
Nick watched Axelle's hands very carefully, his eyes never leaving them as he waited for them to move. He closed his eyes as the redhead reached her hands up, feeling his cheeks getting warm as he felt her rest her hands on either side of his face.
"Ah ah ah~, no closing your eyes~," Axelle scolded. "You have to keep them open, Darling."
Slowly Nick opened his eyes. As if the intimate contact wasn't bad enough, she was looking right at him, her green eyes scanning him for any sign of weakness.
"Are you nervous?"
His face was on fire. But he wasn't going to say it because he knew that was what she wanted.
"No." He lied.
The look in his eyes made the redhead lick her lips in excitement. It was so full of defiance it practically screamed "Go ahead, do your worst. I dare you." She loved that look. It meant he was going to put up a fight.
In response, Axelle slowly traced her fingers down Nick's jawline to his neck, feeling the muscles tighten under her touch.
"How about now?" She asked coyly, twirling a lock of the brunette's hair between her fingers.
"No."
Until this point, Nick was sitting straight up on the couch. But then Axelle grabbed his shoulders, turning him around so he was sideways, facing her. She then pushed him down so he was partially lying down along the length of the couch, and once he was down she crawled over him, keeping him from moving by putting her legs on either side of his hips to straddle him. His back was pressed against the armrest, and he was using his arm to prop himself up. If she ever got him completely on his back, he was finished.
She asked him again, "Nervous yet?"
Nick shook his head and squeaked out a quick no, distracted by the fact that he was now looking straight down the redhead's shirt. Not only did he feel embarrassed, but now he felt like a pervert. He was staring right down her shirt! But it wasn't his fault that she was wearing a semi-low cut shirt and was practically shoving her chest in his face.
"Stop looking at them!" He mentally scolded himself. "Your father raised you to be a gentleman! Gentlemen don't stare at women's breasts! Look somewhere else! Anywhere else!"
Looking her straight in the eye would only make it worse, so he opted for looking at the wall. It was less stressful than a pair of breasts in his face, calculating green eyes staring straight at him and making him feel like his face was on fire, and the fact that she was sitting right on top of his pelvis. But he had good self control, and wasn't the type to get excited easily. As long as she didn't move, then he would be fi-oh God.
Axelle started to move down, but made sure to grind into his pelvis as much as possible before settling down on his thighs.
"Easy... don't get excited, now. Think of something sad; like dead kittens. Yes! Dead kittens! That's as sad as it gets! Not the least bit hot! Oh bloody Hell, now she's taking off my shirt."
The brunette's shirt was hiked up to his collarbone, and he pinched his eyes shut when he felt Axelle's lips on his neck as her fingers traced circles over his chest as strands of her flaming red hair fell over her shoulders and lightly tickled his skin. This made Nick a little anxious. His neck was the second most sensitive area on his body, and if Axelle found that out she would use it to torture him for the rest of his life. His felt his body shaking as she kissed, licked and nibbled his neck, asking him if he was nervous, to which he responded by shaking his head; for fear that if he opened his mouth, the wrong sound would come out.
"Ah, ah, ah~." Axelle scolded him for his lack of a verbal response. "Use your words, love."
At first Nick didn't want to answer her, tensing up and hissing when she started sucking on his pulse, but he knew that she wouldn't stop until she got one. Gritting his teeth, he growled, "No."
"Just keep thinking about dead kittens. Dead kittens... Dead kittens... Dead kittens... Dead kittens... Dead kit-"
Nick took in a sharp breath, biting his lip to keep himself from laughing as Axelle lightly dragged her fingers across his stomach, absentmindedly tracing his abdominal muscles. He tried his best to hide it, but Axelle quickly caught on to his reaction. With an evil smirk, she directed all her attention to his stomach, tickling it mercilessly.
After a few seconds, Nick was unable to contain himself any longer and burst out laughing, his eyes tearing up as he squirmed underneath the redhead.
"Ah-ha! Ha ha! Stop! No fair!"
He kicked his legs the best he could, considering the position he was in (with Axelle sitting on his thighs), the tickling making him laugh so hard that he was snorting.
"Ready to give up?" Axelle asked, slowing down the motion of her fingers to that she was only slightly tickling him.
"Never!" Nick yelled out defiantly. "It'll take more than just tickling to break me!"
The dark, predatory look that Axelle gave him made Nick shudder. He hated that look. It meant that the redhead was done being Little Miss Nice Girl and was about to play dirty.
She grinned at him, showing her teeth. "That's what I'm counting on."
Nick's grip on the armrest of the sofa was so tight that his knuckles were white. He knew exactly where this was going, but he hated the idea of losing. He tried to look anywhere else as Axelle's hands busied themselves with unbuttoning his jeans. She couldn't be serious, right? She wouldn't go that far, would she? He heard the zipper being undone. Yup. She would. Just as her fingers began to slip inside his pants, he jumped back on the couch and yelled out "Ah! Okay! Okay! You win! Back off!"
In his rush to escape, the hand Nick was using to support himself on the couch slipped out from under him and he was sent tumbling backwards over the sofa and onto the floor. He would have gotten up immediately, but he rolled when he hit the floor, landing on his shoulders first and then his upper back. Now his back hurt, and the fall knocked the wind out of him so he had to lay there and catch his breath. He hated being on his back. It made him feel vulnerable; like a flipped turtle. Knowing that Axelle would take advantage of his position, he closed his eyes and laid there for a few seconds, expecting to be jumped on, but they snapped open again when he heard Axelle laughing instead.
The brunette looked up and saw Axelle peering down at him from the couch, her arms crossed over the armrest, too busy guffawing to notice or care that Nick was glaring daggers at her.
"It's not funny!" He yelled, greatly offended that she was laughing her ass off at his expense. "That was a dirty trick!"
"You should have seen your face!" Axelle choked out between fits, wiping tears from her eyes as she looked down with amusement at his miffed expression. "It was priceless!"
"You did this just to mess with me, didn't you?" Nick accused. He knew damn well that she did, but he had a - really - bad habit of asking anyway.
"Oh, lighten up." Axelle waved his anger off dismissively, ignoring his accusation. "It's not my fault you're so easily riled up."
Nick let out a 'tch' sound. Lighten up, she said. Yeah right. Tell that to his back.
"Come sit with me." Said the redhead as she patted the spot next to her on the couch. "We can watch a movie and I can rub your shoulders. Sound good?"
"Why didn't you suggest that from the beginning?"
"Which part? The movie or the massage?"
Nick blushed at the sensual way Axelle said 'massage.' The eyebrow waggle she did didn't help. "The movie, idiot!" He snapped.
"I know what you meant." Axelle said. She continued, grinning, "I just like messing with you."
"Obviously."
"Are you gonna watch a movie with me, or are you gonna lay there all day?"
From his place on the floor, Nick sighed heavily. As much as he hated it when Axelle messed with him, he could never stay mad at her for long. She may have known how to irritate or embarrass him, but she also knew how to butter him up afterwards. Maybe that was the reason he has put up with her antics for so long.
Or maybe it was the fact that he was in love with her (to this day, he couldn't figure out how that happened); something he wouldn't openly admit, but he had a feeling that she knew, even before he knew it himself. That's how she knew that she could get away with-just about-everything.
He sighed again before slowly lifting himself up off the floor, wincing when he felt a slight twinge in his back.
"You okay?" He heard her ask.
"I'm fine." He said. "Just sore."
When he finally got up on his feet, Nick re-fastened his jeans and sat down beside Axelle on the couch. As soon as he sat down, the redhead maneuvered so she was behind him and he scooched forward a bit to allow her to sit there comfortably. To give herself leverage over the taller boy, Axelle sat on her knees, straddling his hips from behind. Pressing her front against his back, she chuckled when he stiffened at the feel of her breasts being pressed against him. When he finally relaxed, she took her hands and began rubbing his shoulders.
Nick let out a moan of appreciation as the redhead massaged his sore muscles, moving her hands in slow circles and applying just the right amount of pressure. Axelle routinely shifted her focus between his shoulders, neck and shoulder blades, making sure she gave them all equal treatment and attention. As she massaged him, she peppered his neck with kisses, smiling against his skin as her act of affection made him shiver. He tensed up for a few seconds before relaxing again, leaning back and letting the redhead do as she pleased, even moving his head to the side to give her better access to his neck as he closed his eyes in satisfaction.
Axelle smiled at his act of submission and vulnerability. He always did this when he was too tired to put up a fight. It meant that he was finally letting his guard down and relaxing around her. As much as she loved messing with Nick and turning him into a nervous, sputtering, blushing mess, and as hilarious as he could be when he was cursing her in that adorable accent of his, she liked him the best when he was at ease. It was just so cute and endearing to see something other than that pissy, "I don't trust you" look he always had on his face.
As friendly as he was, Nick wasn't the type of person who would let his guard down around just anyone. The fact that he trusted her enough to show his softer side made her stomach flutter and her heart race, and she was glad that his head was turned away from her and his beautiful blue eyes were closed so he couldn't see the blush that was on her cheeks.
"So..." The redhead began, giving his neck another kiss. "What movie do you wanna watch?"
At first Nick didn't respond, letting out a pleased sigh as the tension and ache in his muscles faded.
"Anything, as long as it's not a slasher movie."
"Okay. Scream, it is."
Nick immediately bolted up off the couch, nearly making Axelle fall over.
"I SAID NO SLASHER MOVIES!" He shouted, face red and chestnut hair standing on end.
The redhead snickered quietly-how could she not? He looked like a pissed off cat-and got up off the couch. Making her way over to the flustered male, she stood up on her toes to peck him on the lips. Though he didn't relax completely, the tension in his body diminished somewhat.
"Easy babe, I was just kidding." She assured him, running her hand up his arm. Giving him another kiss, she moved away from him and towards the DVD rack. "I'll put in My Big Fat Greek Wedding."
The rest of Nick's tension melted away at the mention of the romantic comedy. A rom-com was fine. He could handle that.
"Okay..." He agreed, sitting back down.
After putting in the movie, Axelle grabbed the remote and plopped herself down next to the brunette, cuddling up as close as she could to his side as they both settled into a lounging position. To make their position more comfortable, Nick lifted his arm and draped it over her shoulders. She decided not to address the fact that his face was now as red as her hair, choosing instead to rest her head against his chest. As the movie played, she would occasionally nuzzle his neck or trace patterns on his chest and stomach absentmindedly, while the brunette would either rub her shoulder or play with her hair.
There was no playful banter, no teasing, and no flustered yelling or cursing. All they could hear was the movie, which played at a decent volume; not too soft or too loud, though Axelle could hear the calm, rhythmic beating of Nick's heart very clearly as her head lay against his chest. Being as subtle as possible, she snuck a peek at the brunette's face, which was content and serene with a small smile on his lips. Axelle had a smile of her own.
As much as she loved messing with him, as much fun as it was to see him squirm, it was moments like this that she liked the best.
